This has to be one of the friendliest establishments I have ever frequented. Amazingly good quality on all fruit and vegetables and so lovely to see how much they support local suppliers. Highly recommended

Post office not open as advertised. Visited previous week to be told “Not open today” following week “not open on Sundays at all” post office site advertises open on Sundays 09:00 - 12:00

Breakfast was good quality and staff were happy to tweak the options, which was very kind of them. I had the homemade bubble and squeak which was excellent. All cooked to order. A very local feel with a relaxed vibe.

Absolutely fabulous service, very tasty food, hygiene superb and plenty of food over and would totally recommend.

A lovely cafe, the staff are wonderful, food was good and reasonably priced. A great little cafe, adjoining the local post office and shop, I’ll definitely be going back.

What an amazing little place! I was down for the weekend for a festival in the area, but having had to work on the Friday, I looked for a place to stay for the day. I couldn't have found a better place. Super friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. All the ladies working here are amazing! Kind, helpful, they found an extension lead for my laptop charger, kept my water bottle cooled in the fridge and made sure I was ok the whole time. Additionally the food is amazing! Had breakfast when I arrived, bubble squeak, spinach and eggs, (highly recommend it!!) and later I had lunch, amazing ciabatta with salad, and I was able to mix and match the filling to my liking. All this washed with a refreshing lemon ice tea, which in such a hot day, was exactly what was needed! There a little convenient store attached, with all the essentials, as well as a post office counter. Should I find myself in the area again, I will definitely come and visit again.

Holidaying in Netherfield we had popped in to buy several necessities during the week but today we went for breakfast. We ordered bubble & squeak which comprised a potato cake topped with two eggs and wilted spinach and scrambled egg with smoked salmon. They were both absolutely delicious as was the good strong cappuccino. It was buzzy and busy and the ladies who run this cafe cum shop cum post office are friendly plus great cooks. What an incredible village asset. Only wish we had popped in for lunch too. Very dog friendly too.

Very few places will change your holiday currency while serving delicious home-made cake, but this is one of them. It's a post office, a shop, a cafe, and a community hub. It does all these things exceptionally well with friendly, welcoming service.

After a long morning teaching children to cycle on the road. We were hungry so stopped here, the first cafe we passed. Not prepossessing from the outside, but we were really surprised by the good quality food, and excellent service. Very glad we stopped here We will definitely be sure we do some bike rides passing this cafe again. And there were some excellent plants for sale too.

A great local shop (open 7 days) and post office with a small comfortable (licensed) cafe. Very friendly and helpful staff.

This great little cafe is part of the local shop and post office. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. I had the cheese ploughmans and my partner had a full English breakfast. All the food was fresh and delicious, the bread was really good. Great to see the butter served in a dish, no foil wraps to open - and proper containers for sauces and salt and pepper. Big pot of tea with a hot water top up. We will certainly be back as it's not too far from us.

A wonderful little place with great food, service etc.. at very reasonable prices. We will definitely visit again if we’re ever in the area

A brilliant local shop, great stock and always willing g to help get items not in stock, also to order from local suppliers for you to collect from them. Friday evening last week punk taco which we had as a take away as such a wet evening, very enjoyable, a shame more communities do not have such a place!

A great shop and cafe. I was delighted to be able to order fish, veg, firelighters and a lovely throw all at the one small but perfectly formed shop. I also bought croissants and cherry jam! Highly recommended if you are passing by.

Great breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Really lovely service and the full English really was a full English. The full works including two types of tomato. Looking forward to our next visit.

Exactly how a local post office/ convenience store should be! The friendliest staff, lovely produce and a real sense of community. Also has the added extra of a cafe which serves top quality coffee and pastries. Worth driving too even if it’s not your local...

Wonderfully warm welcome for some happy campers. Great breakfast (and coffee), friendly service and a cosy escape from the rain. Shop really well equipped too. Kids loved it too. Lucky Netherfield :)

My friend and I, found this fabulous cafe attached to the post office. We enjoyed hot drinks and a croissant with jam and butter along with a superb cherry flapjack slice. Definitely recommend and will be returning ASAP. Ladies very friendly and welcoming.

A quaint village store, post office and cafe. You can get most necessities there.Sandwiches cakes all look really good the small cafe of to the side is comfortable with free WiFi.Service is good and friendly, food served hot and good. We have just had an excellent breakfast. Full English and too much to eat. Lovely hot plates and food, beautifully cooked and presented with a great cup of coffee.

They have a sign and I quote the managment would welcolm any comments that would improve the quality of your visit. The reality is there is no need to make any comments at all.........except wow!!!!!!!!. The food is glorious and the staff and service today we're magnificent.

This is a welcoming new cafe. Excellent brekkie and brilliant friendly service. I loved the fresh ingredients put together nicely - scrambled eggs and salmon and freshly brewed coffee served with a cube of fudge. It's very comfy and you can sit and read a book from their mini library or purchase some local produce or use the post office or shop! Definitely worth a trip! Or 3.
