Always loved strive, really hope the current closure will be temporary and will be back soon, was our favourite go to place, and we're really missing it! Please come back in time for Christmas cakes!

Good food, and very welcoming atmosphere. Really cute courtyard at the back for al fresco dining.

Highly recommend small business and this is the one to go to. Its run by a friendly and professional A-List team who produce their own homemade cakes 24/7. A variety of hot drinks and most of all a Personal Service to everyone including doggies. For this Easter a £5 special of a Hot Drink, homemade cup cakes, easter chick and eggs all brilliantly presented. This cafe caters for all types of dietary requirements. Nat's an Ace with the cappuccino and the corporate Strive logo sits on a white froth on top of this wonderful drink. If you are unsure what is in each product, just ask Heather. Based in Sackville Road next door to Property Cafe. Its definitely worth a visit, a friendly smile and most of all, the price is right! We were so impressed, we had to photograph it for your all to see what you get. Just remember Its 1 Hot Drink and Cake!. This is a friendly cafe that serves good food with friendly staff who are eager to help. Whilst it features an eclectic selection of tables and seats this can be an advantage as it does mean there is something like to suit everyone! On one occasion there was a rather long wait for the meals but upon arrival it was most enjoyable. Certainly a cafe I'll continue to use.

Had lunch at this excellent café... Food and service was excellent... wonderful selection of home made cakes too ..... well worth a visit... lunch. coffee and a nice cake or Thier very special afternoon tea....💐🌹🌷

We were looking for somewhere to eat in Bexhill-on-sea and came across this cafe. We ordered 2 americano coffees and 2 all day breakfasts. Sumptuous food and excellent service on 24th March 1.00 pm. Will definitely come here again. Thank you.

This is feedback not a complaint. Best not to be in a hurry here. Waited 35 minutes for my full English to be served and then, although I was given an extra egg, the bacon and beans were missing. Hey ho.

We took visiting family to Strive for a cream tea and it was amazing. Freshly made sandwiches and home made scones and cakes. Excellent service and value for money. Probably the best cream tea ever!

As a coeliac it can be difficult to eat out sometimes but Strive café had it covered and even had gluten free cake. Hubby had avocado and poached egg on toast (pretending to be a millenial)! I had baked potato. Service with a smile. Great food and well priced. Thank you

The malteser cake was no good for my diet, but absolutely delicious. Great coffee, friendly efficient service and spotless surroundings.

I took my mum here on Friday for lunch it was lovely! Very well equipped and safe with COVID restrictions. Helpful friendly staff with a great service with a smile! Great value for money with quality products. Great vegan choices too! Will be back again soon! Thank you Strive team! Xx

I went to strive cafe with family members for an afternoon tea for my Dad’s 75th Birthday as all big plans were put on hold due to COVID 19. It was lovely, very COVID safe with large seating areas out the newly refurbished area at the back and serving tables so staff did not have to come too close but all blending in with the new decor so it wasn’t so obvious. We had a lovely selection of sandwiches, home made scones with cream and jam and beautiful cup cakes all served on a §posh cake stand with pots of tea and choices of coffee/drinks with a free refil. It was a very good experience and the staff were polite and attentive. We had a very relaxing time there and felt no need to rush. We all left very full and I definitely recommend a visit for tea, coffee, lunch and of course the afternoon tea, WELL DONE STRIVE!!

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal in Strive, very Very polite staff, and also Strive Cafe is very good with signage for social distancing. Open plan cafe which leads to a courtyard at the back, wheelchair access throughout. 5 Stars.

Had an excellent lunch on Wednesday !! I loved the tasty hotdog in a roll and onions and chips. My friends had toasted sandwich and salad, and Lamb Kofte and salad!! Very good service ,especially regarding the covid regulations!!! The staff are friendly and helpful!!!. Reasonably priced food. Relaxing seating area!!!

We called in for coffee and cake. Coffee was good, as was the cup cake - only cakes they had. Decor is basic, but the place is clean. It deserves to succeed since it supports a good cause.

Eat out to help out - cheap as chips! Loads more space than there appears to be.

Visited today while on holiday in the area. They were so helpful to accommodate me in my mobility scooter. Great staff and lovely food. Felt very safe with all the precautions they are taking in response to coronavirus yet staying very friendly. Thank you.

Food was great I had burger chips chocolate cake chocolate drink and one boy had same the other had bacon lettuce tomato sandwich and another burger cakes tea coke ice tea

Had one of the epic sausage rolls they do, very tasty! The Malteser cupcakes should come with a warning that one is not enough, as they are very addictive!! Try one...delicious! This was just before lockdown. Have actually been in again (this week) for avocado...

First visit to Strive today and we will be going back! Good quality food cooked to order. Huge choice on the menu and excellent friendly service. Cheese on toast was amazing and not to be missed. Excellent.

Not been open that long but been busy every time I’ve been by. Had one of the epic sausage rolls they do. Managed to resist the cakes but it wasn’t easy! Lol Have actually been in again for avocado on toast with poached eggs which...

What a great place staff really friendly. The food was brilliant (best sausages ever) coffee was perfect + dog friendly, can't ask for better than that until you try the cake - epic.

Lovely little cafe serving delicious food, especially the cake! Can’t wait to come back and try the other flavours. Love the fact that the cafe is supporting people with disabilities to get into work. Definitely worth a visit!

Wonderful food, reasonably priced and the service is great. A very happy place to visit for a cuppa or for something more substantial. The fact that it enriches the lives of people with learning disabilities by giving them paid employment just makes it all the better.
