Yorkshire pudding not crispy or much taste like it was frozen, breakfast ok but forgiven because it is quite cheap, however service good and pub looks good inside. Worth going for a light breakfast and a pint, not sure I would risk a meal though after that soggy Yorkshire.

Visited this place for breakfast. It was the worst I've ever had!! Ordered a full english breakfast and new to the menu and the most expensive dish, stacked pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. Sounds nice right? They were clearly old, the woman working there thought they didn't have any and then found some after a good few minutes rummaging through the fridge/freezer that was located on the main cafe floor. I was shocked for what I was served. 3 dry warmed pancakes. One of them was burnt so placed at the bottom of the stack thinking I wouldn't notice. 3 thick rashes of backed bacon not the expected streaky for this kind of dish. Then rather than serving maple syrup as advertised i was given treacle!! It was awful. The full English breakfast appeared to look nice but the sausage was the worst my husband said he'd ever tasted. He said they were really cheap and he couldn't eat them. The bacon was also really fatty and just okay. The coffee was really nice. I would not recommend nor would I return

Friendly atmosphere from staff and visitors. Opportunity to sit in the bar and talk to people as well as opportunity to sit in a the lounge which is quieter and spacious. Locals chat about history I like to visit for a few drinks, sometimes bring my laptop to study. All the facilities are great, everything is kept organised and clean, everyone is welcome and it's a truly a great place.

A small coffee shop and café located at the bottom of Yatton’s pedestrianised shopping precinct, it’s not immediately obvious unless you’re looking for it, and many people may simple pop in to the more visible one elsewhere in the precinct. First impressions weren’t great perhaps, I was waiting some time whilst the barista prepared the previous order, which is not an issue in itself, but some acknowledgement or greeting would have been nice. He was stood only a couple of feet away from me, so couldn’t have failed to notice me. The cake selection weas a little limited perhaps, with no Victoria Sponge or Coffee & Walnut cake, for example, with the available choices including a flapjack, a brownie of some sort and an Easter inspired version of millionaire’s shortbread. I opted for a carrot cake, and this was a generous size and quite tasty, nice and moist with a decent topping. An accompanying latte was also good. Overall, a nice spot with plenty of outside seating, they just need to be a bit friendlier.

We had heard good things about the food so drove up from Stevenage to have a look for ourselves, we were not disappointed!! We were greeted with smiles and taken to our tables, we looked at the menu on the boards but the platter had already caught our eyes! Brisket, short rib beef, wings, and probably the best chilli beans I have ever had in my life. We had 2 platters between us, couldn’t get through it all but was offered boxes of we’d like to take it with us. Stayed for a few drinks, the locals were having a bit of a party! We were made to feel extremely welcome and even left with handshakes from the landlord. Such a hidden gem, we will be back for sure and telling anyone that will Listen to eat here too.
