Proper oldschool 'greasy spoon', cheap, cheerful and staff are very friendly. Cleanest greasy spoon cafe I've ever been to. Granted it's not fine dining however the food's good -- my only suggestion is I wish they'd butter the burger buns. Rapid service too, food came piping hot within 10 mins of ordering. Going in here is like stepping back in time, the sort of place your Nan would take you as a kid. 10/10 Edit: I went for the half pounder burger meal but didn't want side salad, so the waitress asked if I wanted beans in lieu free of charge, you don't get service this good in Mcdonalds Edit #2: Gutted to hear that this place closes permanently tomorrow 20/12/24 after 40 years. Taunton will lose an icon and I wish the staff the best of luck and the owners a very happy retirement.

The best pub for a roast in Hertfordshire—never disappoints! We went for a Mother’s Day meal and were welcomed with complimentary Prosecco, which was a lovely touch. The trio roast was great value, and despite the pub being fully booked, the food quality remained exceptional, as always. Highly recommend!

A small coffee and cafe, excelent coffee, home made cakes and scones, sandwiches and meals made to order, with eat in or takeaway. Friendly and welcoming, and they oppeeate a loyalty card system that results in a free coffee or tea.

Everything was excellent. Tried different pastries/bakes all were great but the cinnamon roll was amazing. Consistently excellent coffee on every trip and very friendly staff. All round a perfect little cafe.

What a gem of a place. I have been meaning to go for an age as I live not too far away. Today, with my dog passing earlier this week and the sad task of prep and bring home, I decided we should go get some breakfast and keep my mind busy. What I found was a business that gives back to the community, with the single most helpful and customer friendly team I've ever met in a cafe. The food is good The prices are pretty good to The staff 100% make it somewhere to go back to Today, having lost my companion of 13 years, some people who knew nothing we nice because that's how they are to all at all times I shall be a more regular customer, I like the ethos of the business- great work all

Friendly traditional country pub.

Such a joy to find this little place. The food has that home-made nourishing feeling to it – really tasty and satisfying. The location, right by Devil's Dyke, is idyllic. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely to sit outside and soak up the sun in its laid-back atmosphere.

Nice accommodation, homely pub with nice log fire. Amazing food . Owner made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, although it says vegetarian friendly. There were no vegetarian options when we visited around 12 on a Tuesday. Very poor indeed

One of the best breakfasts we have had in ages. We have visited Knighton over the last 2 weeks viewing houses. The cafe is no frills from a decor perspective but is so welcoming and friendly with all meals cooked to order and really reasonably priced. Today was the bosses last day there, however it will be reopening in a couple of weeks under new management. I hope they don’t change much as this place is a gem and hopefully a local for me in the near future.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best coffee shop in wadebridge, the lady who served me was so lovely and we had super choices for drinks, I had a mince pie lattee which to my delight was delicious! Can't wait to return here
