Hills Cafe in Wycombe

Very clean and tidy cafe nestled in High Wycombe, parking was in short supply but good food and great people weren't far away. A 'Mountain Breakfast' was enough to fill me for the day with a freshly baked slice of Victoria Sponge to finish off a delightful meal. Would recommend to any hungry people passing by.

What a brilliant community cafe. I often go here for a really decent breakfast with geeat tasting coffee and lovely welcoming staff. The table areas are functional clean and comfy. There are games and toys for kids and books. The menu is simple and uncluttered. Prices are good value and fair with a great policy on payments for those who are struggling in the local community. All run by volunteer staff who want to make a difference. Visit Hills and help contribute to the community as well as enjoying great food and company.

A lovely not for profit cafe in High Wycombe. The service is great, and the volunteers are incredibly helpful and friendly. They also have plenty of vegetarian options including a veggie breakfast for a very reasonable price. Although not on the menu, they do iced coffee and caramel or hazelnut frappes with cream on top - for far cheaper than you would pay at Starbucks. And you are supporting a charitable organization. I will 100% be coming here again, and look forward to trying out the garden seating in the summer!

Me and my sister came to Hills Cafe today morning for breakfast and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. This is a not for profit cafe working towards charitable causes, which is very admirable. Every staff member was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. We had iced Frappuccino’s and the vegetarian breakfast. We both enjoyed the food and drink, both of which I could taste were very freshly prepared. The portion was very filling and we left very happy. I would definitely return to this cafe, and recommend to all to try.

We came here thinking it was a regular cafe. When we came in and realised it's a not for profit organisation we were bowled over. This is a fantastic initiative and I hope others will join and follow

Fantastic little find with a brilliant concept. You can see it's the heart of the community run by lovely volunteers. A wonderful gentleman served us and as we left my son said "he is such a lovely man". Food delicious. Warm, welcoming and a cafe the community should be really proud of. Thank you

Very good place for breakfast .

We were staying in the local area and looked up local options for an all day breakfast. This came up and I liked the ethos of the cafe, so thought we would give it a go! Parked right out the front which is handy. Greeted by 2 very friendly staff members, and a nice lady already eating her breakfast! Ordered our food and it arrived not too many minutes later. Good quality breakfast, tea and coffee were nice also. We paid in full and a little extra, to help go towards food for someone who doesn’t have much spare money. If we were ever in the area again we would pop in! Only negative is that we did smell like food afterwards, but I appreciate it’s a small place and extraction is possibly limited. So what I’m saying is, don't go in in your favourite coat… but you can always air it for a few hours and the cooking smell would be gone anyway!

Hills Café, what's not to like! Lovely friendly folks. Good value too. It is a not for profit community café set in the heart of Micklefield, How cool is that. Soon we are going to need a lot more of these. PS, Matt you have something to do with this, yes. Go Indies!

Theres a lovely lady who works here who is always happy polite and friendly. Not sure on her name but works at chippie aswell. Shes very friendly and makes you feel welcome

This is my favourite place to eat a full English breakfast. It is run by local Christians, who are very friendly and cook tasty food at affordable prices. Well worth a visit.

Hills is a focal point for the community, supporting local events and serving excellent coffee, cakes and cooked food from local suppliers.

Ordered cakes and donuts for delivery for two differentent households. Used a reduce voucher. Service was good and no physical contact was needed. Very well thought out. Will use their delivery service again

There was an extra emphasis cleanliness with the offer of a free squirt of hand sanitizer before sitting down to eat. Thank you Hill's for sharing your resources. The soup was thick and tasty and the bread served alongside, the usual exquisite granary with real butter... the sort of bread they will probably serve in heaven! The best part, as always, is the friendliness of the cafe. If you are feeling alone or a bit lost, you can always go to Hill's, use the hand gel and enjoy a few minutes of normality.

A nice little cafe. The service was very good and more importantly it was friendly. The full english was not served up straight away, which shows everything was cooked fresh. Good ingredients and the butchers sausage was delicious. The coffee was spot on too.

Great service, great food, reasonable prices

I love this little local cafe! My usual order is the breakfast - a good sized plate with toast and tea and always very tasty! It’s run by community volunteers and a great asset to the area. It’s been lovely watching the garden and back area be transformed into a play area for kids too, and if you follow them on Facebook you can catch their great seasonal events like arts & craft days!

Came here today with a friend for breakfast, been for coffee before but the breakfast has good reviews. Food was good, £6 for a full breakfast with toast and coffee, I upgraded to a cappuccino for an extra £1 which was perfect. Really cheap, nice atmosphere and I love that it’s only 2 minutes down the road and not a big corporate coffee shop. Will definitely be back

Had a gluten free sandwich and two decent sized cups of tea in a friendly local place, which I can share even though I live on the next hill!

Called here for lunch - a great range of food on the menu. We enjoyed the breakfast plate and weren't disappointed! The cafe is a great example of a successful community cafe, helping people in the local community to enjoy a welcoming meeting place - well done to the team running this lovely cafe

It's more than a cafe, it's a place to meet your mum friends, your family and to make nenew connections with the people who live near. Staff are always very accomodating, the volunteers are dedicated and the food is as good as you'd get in any other cafe :) Over the last years we've seen it grow from strength to strength. It's a visit !

Popped in with my friends children for brunch and (as always), had a great experience. The food was fresh and delicious and the service excellent. I don’t live locally, but always head there when visiting the area. The staff are always friendly and polite and the atmosphere lovely. The garden is a real bonus and there are plenty of toys to keep little ones amused. I can’t recommend it highly enough and am not surprised that it was recently named one of Wycombe’s top cafes.Keep up the great work.

We're so lucky having such a great local cafe on our door step. A genuine heart of the community. Love the all day breakfasts and the warm welcome that I always receive. Fab coffee, great quality ingredients and free wifi - what's not to love!

We visited for breakfast and were really impressed. The staff were very flexible with the menu and able to take specific requests for kids. Lovely quality ingredients, cooked well and great coffee. Was a pleasure to chat to the lovely couple who are directors of the cafe and they have made every effort to make this volunteer run enterprise a wonderful asset for the local community. Wish there were more places around like Hills!

Came here as a spontaneous decision after hearing good things about the place. We were not disappointed. Service was so welcoming and friendly. We ordered Jacket Potatoe with Tuna and an Egg/Bacon Sandwich. Food was freshly prepared with very generous portions. We had a hot chocolate and coffee. Food was so reasonably priced i think they should perhaps raise the prices just a little.

I pop in quite often but this trip was with my daughter and my grandson. My grandson is a lively child. The toys and playhouse in the garden kept him busy until our lunch arrived. We had jacket potatoes, which were perfectly cooked and delicious. For the nipper, we ordered food that he likes that wasn't on the menu. The young lady that served us was more than happy to provide this.

I knew about hills cafe for a while and never went in until beginning of August 2018 the food was cooked fresh all local sourced ingredients lovely coffee clean tidy kids area responsible priced food and drink kids menu available and they even have a wc it's run by volunteers and they are all lovely great service

Took a friend in for lunch today and we were lucky enough to get a table in the garden.

Excellent little cafe. Staff are really friendly and chatty. Some staff are being trained, with a view to helping their job prospects and learning a career. They provide a good range of food and drink with a smile. Well prepared and tasty with a great value price. Pleasant sized dining area. All in all a very pleasing, non stuffy, easy going small and cosy cafe.

Took my mum for a breakfast. She is a lady of a certain age ( over 21!) And is particular/quirky/picky/fussy... however she ate the breakfast, asked for more bread and another cup of tea. This just does not happen! Lovely atmosphere as always. People ( staff and customers chatty but not intrusive) inexpensive, good food and clean... Can I just write it again... my mum had no complaints!

We had 2 ‘hills cafe breakfasts’ and they were great, it was £6 with a cup of tea and I think this is good but there should of been 2 sausages or a hash brown. Overall very good will be back

First time visiting with a very good friend, who totally recommended this place.. I love a good breakfast with lots of other options, I like chilled home from home, atmosphere and fab prices for top quality food.. miss the “cafe” in my life as it’s all gastro pubs and coffee shops..thumbs up give it a visit
