Back Street Coffee in Wycombe

Found this coffee shop gem while visiting nearby. I found parking easily and the staff were all helpful. My latte was great. Will return next time!

I'd redesign the place but it's unique appeal might be lost in the process.

It's such a beautiful space. Coffee and muffins are my favorite. The staff is absolutely wonderful! It's one of my favorite stops when I'm in town.

Love this place! We popped in to do some remote work while on a business trip. Quirky, fun, and strong community-based atmosphere, amazing coffee and quiche were to die for. Local art everywhere. We will be back!

Quirky collection of local made cards and crafts for sale. Had delicious breakfast sandwich with a regular coffee. Really Enjoyed sitting on the porch swing, sipping the brew.

The shop is hidden in back street (hence the name?) and local cafe where locals hangout. Good coffee and nice atmosphere (charming old home feel in a small town). The owner/staff was friendly and there are plenty tables/seating available. It’s where I want to hangout to relax while enjoying good coffee.

Great little coffee shop with a great menu.

This was a fun little find on our travels. While visitng family in Virginia, we took a little day trip to Harper's Ferry, West Virginia. Along the way the traffic on the road we needed to turn on was at a dead stop. We suspected there was a wreck as the traffic had not moved at all for about 5 minutes. We decided to turn the opposite direction and find a café or coffee shop where we could stretch our legs and wait out out the traffic delay. Our google search and gps led us to Back Street Brews. This is a great little coffee shop! They had a lot of different coffee options, iced and hot. I had an iced pistachio latte. It was delicious! They had a lot of bakery items as well. The staff was very friendly, and all of our coffee drinks were delicious. The weather was actually pleasant enough (for a July afternoon) that we were able to sit in the outside seating area. They also have seating inside as well. As we sat outside drinking our coffee, we saw a lot of foot traffic (presumably locals) coming to get coffee to go. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by and grabbing a coffee and some baked goods!

This place is awesome. The drinks and ice cream is great and their staff members are so kind. I love how it feels like a vintage home!

Great food and laid-back ambiance.

Its always a special treat for the girls and I to go grab breakfast at Back Street's. The service is extra friendly, the atmosphere completely chill and the assortment of products and seating ensure there is something for anyone to enjoy. As pictured, this visit my Mischief and Jinx enjoyed their hot drinks with muffins, croissants and their new favorite swing seat! I'm always hesitant to try new scones, but upon the barista's recommendation, the locally made fruit and nut scone I tried was delicious!

This place is pretty great. Triple espresso with an ice cream scoop was amazing. Regular cappuccino was also quite tasty. Lovely atmosphere and waitstaff. Would caffeinate at this location again.

Cozy coffee shop in a beautiful historic building. We love the outdoor seating in the summer, and in the winter the indoor space always has a diverse collection of local art.

Cute coffee shop with limited parking and some 10 minute parking. I liked the large outdoor seating area and there is a small kennel that you can put your dog in off leash. Indoors is quaint. I ordered a Cinnamon roll latte and a chocolate covered Strawberry latte. I also ordered a spinach and Artichoke quiche. The lattes did take some time and they also had to microwave to heat up my quiche. The quiche was pretty good and the lattes were delicious. Friendly staff and a great area to sit and enjoy the coffee and a good book.

The two highlights of this spot are the delicious food and beverages and the super friendly staff! My only complaint is that the space is a little small, but it makes up for it through its relaxed and cozy personality. The prices are very reasonable for such a high-quality coffee shop like this one. This space truly adds to the character of the town.

As a Local I try to support local business, I have been to this establishment 3 times in the last 2 months, as much as they are very nice people, I wont be returning anytime soon 1 the coffee is terrible and either poor quality or poorly made 2 overall its Very overpriced. Purchased a latte with extra shot, cup was only 3/4 full, and honestly was Not drinkable. 6$ + is not reasonable for a coffee. even worse when I have to throw it out and make my own at home. Please do better

Love this Eclectic Coffee Shop We stumbled on Back Street Brews Coffee and Tea House while exploring small, historic towns in Northern Virginia . Man, what a treat. The coffee is great, so are the homemade pastries. The shop is definitely eclectic in every way, not fancy. The owner and staff have a lot of personality, friendly and entertaining. We will go out of our way to go back at every opportunity.

If you are in the area, I definitely recommend trying out this cute coffee shop. We ordered coffee and muffins. The coffee and muffins were great.

Coffee is a little expensive but the atomsphere is nice, there's seating inside and outside, a pen for your dog if you want to go inside, and the staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations.

Love, love, love. Quiche are excellent and they make my lavender chai perfectly. The building is charming with nooks all over to sit and work if you need. This is a local treasure.

Came for a coffee and stayed all day. What a cozy, peaceful place to work! Loved the upstairs area. Edited in 2021 to add: They've added lots of space, including a porch and outdoor space! Plenty of room to spread out.

My sister and I love this coffee shop; love their Afagoto, breakfast sandwich, and muffin variety. My favorite is the pumpkin chocolate chip and zuchini muffin. Maureen is such an accommodating lady; they make me the best coffiee:) I will come back to buy their cute sweatshirts:)

Gorgous coffee and yummy home made cakes. There is also a great breakfast menu to feed a hungry tummy, and the place was full of people enjoying this. The smell of freshly cooked bacon was mmmm relish. Next time I will go for the breakfast. A super little village cafe.

Was visiting from out of town and this establishment was recommended. We liked it so much we are visiting each morning of our stay for breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful and coffee and food is delicious. The outdoor seating is nicely spaced out and all the patrons are respectful of social distancing. I'd recommend to anyone in Lovettsville.

Maureen and her staff do amazing work! Hands down one of the best coffee shops/small businesses I've ever visited. Everyone is a VIP, the food is amazing; whether it's something sweet or savory, and there are a plethora of coffee drinks to choose from. I give Back Street Brews the highest of recommendations and encourage you to visit if you have not done so already. You will not be disappointed.

Another place to visit each time I come to Lovettsville. Great specialty coffee and lemonades, and pastries to compliment your choice of drink. The sandwiches on croissants are delicious for a quick lunch

Quaint little shop - You wouldn't believe it was here if you did not know. What seems like a decent selection of teas and coffees. It is quite small inside, but there are tables on a patio that you can sit at when the weather is nice. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Nice little hidden gem. It's down a side street so it can be literally a bit hidden but they serve great coffee and the baked goods are awesome. The interior is pretty cramped so we only go on days when it is nice enough to sit outside or get it to go.

Nice find on a cold Sunday morning for some coffee and a sweet treat. The banana bread was excellent, and so was my latte!

Great spot for your morning pick me up! We had the sun dried tomato and goat cheese quiche, the London Smog and Russian Tea and everything was excellent. The inside is cute and cozy, we liked the upstairs loft seating area.

Great space. They will burn your espresso and milk. Train your staff in the art of temperature and you could get five stars.

The baked goods are great but my coffee tasted like water unfortunately the past two times I’ve gotten some, even when I pay extra for flavor. Additionally it cost me 12 dollars for two coffees which is a bit much.

After extensive searching for a meeting place for our biannual friends' Road Trip we settles on Back Street Coffee in Stokenchurch for our customary fry up... We weren't disappointed. A top breakfast and well worth a visit, literally just off the M40 at J5...

Lovely little local caff. They also deliver if you order over £8 and live nearby! NB- They close at 3pm.

I persuaded my son to buy my partner and me lunch; I decided on a cheese and bacon pannini and decaf cappucino. The coffee came first, liberally sprinkled with chocolate, served in a very friendly manner. Then came the pannini, stuffed with a good mature cheddar and slabs of quality bacon. Lovely! All freshly made and eaten in a very pleasant atmosphere.

After hearing lots of good things about Back Street Cafe my partner and I decided to have a late brunch there today after a busy morning. There is a banner over the cafe and a board by the road stating new opening hours. It also on the cafe website. Sunday states they close at 1pm. We arrived at 12.20. The young man at the counter asked us what we would like. My partner asked me if I was going to have a breakfast but as I answered yes, we were told 'No you won't the kitchen is closed. I've just turned everthing off' I can only assume this 'paragon' of charm and customer service was the cook. If she was the owner then,please may I offer some constructive comments. Firstly, manners and an appology go a long way to promoting good will. A simple, I am sorry we are closing in courteous tone would have sufficed. Secondly perhaps you need to chane your sign so as not to mislead people on your business hours. If this person is an employee, a quiet word about how to be polite to customers may not be amiss. Sadly, I will not be back to see if there has been a positive outcome.

Very polite and welcoming staff, great location. I ordered the full English "the big one" which comes with a lovely big mug of tea. My tea and breakfast were ready in no time at all. The breakfast was one of the best I have had, the name of the breakfast does not lie, you will not need lunch I can tell you. Really nice food, lots of it and great value. If you are looking for a decent full English you will not be disappointed!

This quaint and cozy coffee shop should definitely be on your list of places to visit if you are in the area of Lovettsville, VA! Tucked away on a side street it is in one half of an old home. We visited on a Saturday mid-morning and immediately felt right at home. I had a hot chocolate and a zucchini crumb muffin which were both absolutely delicious! While my husband enjoyed a cup of Lone Oak coffee and a crustless quiche, one he will now be trying to recreate. The selection of baked goods is vast and there are some gluten free options as well. I think the thing I enjoyed the most was chatting with the owner and fellow customers. It's a small town vibe but one that is very welcoming to those visiting the area. Maureen, the owner, has done an amazing job with this place! We will definitely be back!
