I attended a Clay Earring Workshop here and it did not disappoint! I came here alone but felt welcomed by all and it was a great opportunity to get creative and make some nice earrings. This was the first workshop so there were a couple of hiccups but the host was great and made up for this. I hope to attend another workshop similar to this in the future here! :) I also had a delicious pineapple and ginger fruit juice drink here before the workshop began.

My partner and I often spend time at the front room. The staff are friendly, the drinks are lovely (pineapple crush was a must in the summer) and the food is tasty (what we have tried of the gluten free menu). We haven’t been in since the new menu and we are excited to see what’s new. We have been to a few events such as the family terrarium making, drag night, jazz night, comedy and the market they recently hosted over Christmas. The events can be crowded but the atmosphere is immaculate. This is a place I have gone to study and work, I bring friends and family here to show off the cafe and community that is less than five minuets from me. I love the decor and have developed a plant addiction born from inspiration. I hired the cafe out for my proposal back in June and Lauren went above and beyond to make it special. She decorated it with petals and candles making it a stunning walkway and environment. She got our favourite cake, some other gluten free snacks and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. We took part in some pot painting to a romantic playlist and on top of all the Lauren took amazing pictures and videos. It was pretty much a proposal and engagement photo shoot all in one. On a dietary note: the front room have always been accommodating and up front with me about gluten free stock and their process. Often opening me an untouched cake as I can’t have the ones from the glass due to cross contamination. I have always felt understood and respected when it came to my dietary needs being coeliac I find it very hard to find places where I can eat with little to no stress. Lauren and her team have always made me feel welcome. It’s a great safe space for people from all walks of life and the staff do not stand for anything less. I always feel safe here and plan to visit as often as I can as long as I live here. Thank you for making it a wonderful experience.

I was passing to go the massage company and saw the freedom flag (LGBTQ) so I entered immediately to have my breakfast. The place is really beautiful with very comfortable sofas , plants , books. I was served by a very handsome young man who gave me the best customer service with smile and also heated my croissant. Highly recommend. Loved this place so much and I will come back again in my few days in High Wycombe. 5 stars 🤩. Thanks 🙏

The coffee is AMAZING! It's a wonderful environment, both for work and socialising and they have such cute events on sometimes. The staff are so lovely, always brightening my day. The Front Room has my heart.

I visited The Front Room for the first time the other week, and had one of the most wonderful evenings. Greeted by Semper, he ensured we were made comfortable for the evening ahead. Once we got our bearings, we ordered food, which was not only incredible, but also heart-healthy and filling, a rarity some may say. Many thanks to Lauren and company who prepared this dish, and took no offence when I asked for extra salt! Catch22 Jams then put on a stellar performance, with the saxophonist Charlie Markham producing some of the most dulcet sounds known to man. I can't fault The Front Room on any fronts (pardon the pun), and I will most certainly be back for the High Wycombe Jazz Festival later this year. Thanks to all the team who made this a wonderful experience.

I used to love coming here, but the owner/s and their friends take up most of the seating area with their laptops, so you can’t always get a seat. The food is limited, but the coffee’s good.

Warm welcome, great table workspace, plus comfy seating area. Superb coffee, A great addition to the menu is the Shakshuka: Baked eggs in spiced tomato,etc.sauce. Just the right amount of tang!

We had the opportunity to attend a fantastic sushi workshop by run by the brilliant Tomono from the Tomono Sushi Party at The Front Room coffee shop recently. We spent the afternoon there and what truly appealed to me about this quaint café was its cozy ambiance. The interior design caught my eye immediately - well-curated, lending to a unique yet comfortable atmosphere. Perfect for spending an afternoon unwinding with friends. The beverage options were excellent, ranging from refreshing teas to robust coffees and decadently rich hot chocolates. A delightful accompaniment while you indulge in one of their numerous board games. After the sushi workshop, we stuck around for a competitive session of Battleships. The selection of games was varied, making it a great place for some relaxed fun with your friends. I thoroughly enjoyed this playful twist to the traditional café setting. The only minor hiccup was that the café seemed to get slightly noisy during peak hours, making conversations a tad difficult. Nevertheless, this place definitely deserves kudos for their inventive workshops and comfortable space. The Front Room's coffee, inviting ambiance, fun games and, interesting workshops makes it a venue worth exploring, whether for casual hangouts, solitary reading, or learning a new skill. I'll certainly be going back. Disclaimer: It can get a bit noisy during peak times, so if you are seeking absolute tranquillity, plan your visit accordingly! Recommended for: Great Coffee, Cozy Ambiance, Unique Workshops, and Game Nights!

This is by far the best cafe in the area! This is by no means local to me but it’s worth the travel to sit in a beautifully curated space and be amongst like minded people. The workshops are always great and encourage community and openness.

I love it here. I work here occasionally for the day to get out of home. I love the coffee, the food and the cakes are amazing. Particularly as I'm dairy free, I still get a lot of choice and am able to take home a gluten free cake for the husband. Oh and the hot chocolate are totally out of this world. The staff are lovely and I've always felt extremely welcome 🤗

Absolutely love the front room! It’s like a home from home 💖 the best thing is the daily grind where you can come and work from your laptop and pay £12.50 for unlimited drinks and a toastie for lunch! The staff make you feel like one of the family and the coffee is DELICIOUS!

What a great find. A comfortable cafe, with friendly staff and reasonable priced. I ordered a banana milkshake, but they didn't have any bananas. So they went to a shop to get some so they could make me a banana milkshake and then gave me a very delicious chocolate chip cookie as an apology for keeping me waiting! What great service! Lovely staff great food chilled atmosphere just what Wycombe needs

Tried contacting the management after my daughter was spiked by a bar tender at their Halloween function. No response received! Only after posting this review did Lauren contact me. She didn’t even ask about the welfare of my daughter even after I told her that she was under the care of emergency services due to the spiking. Her only concern was that I had given her a one star review!

Oh dear, just asked for latte and cappuccino, and told 25 to 30 min wait!! No reason, not very busy. Not happy, normally great service

It's really relaxing and comfortable apart from when it's chilly outside and the staff have to keep the front door open when they're cooking. A great place to visit notwithstanding that.

Amazing smoothies all natural ingredients not too sweet, great service amazing place to work or hang out.

They have a good menu (although most of the options were unavailable when we went in), coffee is ok and they are dog friendly. However, the service always seems very slow. We ordered a ‘fresh’ orange juice which seemed to be a blended, frozen drink and didn’t have any bits in, so we assume it wasn’t fresh. Overall, disappointing given the price.

I had passed 'The Front Room' quite a few time until one day I thought I should go inside to investigate. The outside of the cafe is Ok but fairly unassuming, it gives no indication of the delightful haven within (sorry, but if you sit outside with your VERY GOOD COFFEE you really are missing out on the other reasons for coming here - comfy chairs, sofas, books, relaxing decor and decent background music ). The staff are welcoming (to dogs as well as humans), friendly and helpful. The coffee is VERY GOOD and has had me returning here many times after being loyal to Costa del Coffee for 15-16 years. As someone else has mentioned in a review, it is a great place to come and relax, recharge and, if you are feeling a bit low or in a rut, somewhere to give yourself a lift. Various events are held including, on the first Thursday of each month, the very well attended (28-30 people the last time I was there), Waterstones Book Group for all us bookworms to enjoy - along with the VERY GOOD COFFEE. I will certainly be returning again and again.....

What an absolute incredible place! I found this lovely eatery by chance and me, my friend and my dog struck gold! The service was second to none, especially Max who just couldn’t do enough for us and was absolutely charming. The vegan milkshake I had was the best I’ve had this side of Yorkshire and the cakes and biscuits were luscious. I will definitely be back and so will Poppy, my dog, who particularly enjoyed her free doggy treat! I can’t recommend this place enough!

I had a fantastic experience at The Front Room! The yellow drink and red drink were both amazing, and the veggie food options were simply incredible. The service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect for relaxing and enjoying a good book. Plus, it's dog-friendly, and our furry friends had a blast too. It's a wonderfully funky place, and we can't wait to visit again soon!

The best coffee, toasties, cakes and pastries in town! Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful and such a cosy, welcoming and safe place to chill out. If I’m ever in a rut or not sure where to go, The Front Room is my sanctuary! I’ve taken family to many events here including sushi making and paint parties as well as taking advantage of their daily grind when I don’t fancy working from home. My little doggo is also very welcome here and we love coming to have a relax after a walk or shopping 🥰 5 stars all round, considering asking Lauren if I can hire out the space for an event one day soon!

This place is a welcoming oasis amongst a sea of depressing boarded up shops in post covid Wycombe. Queer friendly, fantastic coffee. Lovely comfy leather sofas and hundreds of books to read. Not to mention the cute lizard in the tank!

Great coffee shop with a cool vibe handy for High Wycombe railway station. First visit I ate in with sourdough hummus toasty and oat milk cappuccino, both spot on. The team did me a solid this afternoon, rushed in for an iced coffee in my travel mug with only 10 mins till my train; they whipped up my coffee in no time at-all and got me ready for my 16hr journey home having just finished an early shift at work, much in need of coffee! Lifesavers! ☕️😇

The Front Room has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere, big comfortable sofas, excellent soundtracks, food and coffee. It became a welcome retreat for us during the stressful GCSE weeks. (There are also spaces if you need to work remotely). For any parents/carers, who have students sitting exams at the High Wycombe Tutors & Exams Centre - this is your place! A huge thank you to all the staff at The Front Room, who made us feel so welcome (and let us in for some pre-exam revision before you'd even got your chairs out!)

Always friendly and helpful in this cafe. Have a lovely collection of books to browse as well. Seem to be very involved in the community and host lots of events. Only possible addition would be to expand the food menu a little.

Amazing drinks and cakes with a decent variety at an alright price. The staff are very nice. And the seating is very comfortable with multiple couches and areas to work or relax. Would recommend to stop by to have a bite or drink.

Adequate outdoor seating area, and really cool interior with lots of plants and comfy chairs. My partner and I had some coffee and a croissant outside to make the most of the sunny weather. When ordering, I decided to wait for the coffees at the bar before the barista said they would be bought to my table. So I decided to eat the croissant. 15 to 20 minutes later the coffees still hadn't come so I decided to to investigate, and unfortunately found we were forgotten about. The barista was deeply apologetic and offered a free cake, to which I declined as I wasn't hungry. If you're looking for a chill place to do some work, or meet up with a friend, and drink some coffee, I would recommend The Front Room. I just hope they implement a system that keeps track of orders so that people aren't forgotten in future.

My very 1st time i went in here. I had 2 magic bags via the too good to go app. I've actually just had my very 1st cannoli today and it was delicious. I will be saving more magic bags in the future. Excellent 👌🏻

Great independent cafe. As a visitor to High Wycombe for the week, The Front Room has been our morning stop-off of choice for tea, coffee and pastries. Excellent deep armchairs or a separate work area, if you prefer. Staff were welcoming - service also good.

A beautifully decorated coffee shop with super friendly staff and delicious drinks and treats. My favourite drink would have to be the hot chocolate with coconut milk. I bring my friends here all the time and we all love it. Highly recommend going here, it's prefect for studying, working, meeting friends or just reading a good book. Some plants and a few beautiful small businesses items are available to purchase :)

The member of staff that laughed at me when I said what temperature I wanted my coffee was not ideal, but I think that she was just out of her depth. She mediately passed over to a colleague who was charming and brought us a lovely cup of coffee and an excellent toastie clearly made fresh with sourdough.

The atmosphere is amazing with lots of greenery and the comfiest sofa seating. The drinks were as expected for a cafe, nothing special but decent. The pastries were large and really tasty. All in all this is the best cafe I have been to in Wycombe.

The staff are brilliant, they work so hard to ensure customers are happy (including meeting allergy/dietary requirements where they can!) The events they hold there are so wide too, from sushi making classes to live music events to yoga. They even held a live life painting event recently that looked amazing! There are often pop-up puppy days but they welcome dogs any day and even welcome in a large group of mums for a mum and baby coffee morning weekly. The atmosphere is calm with plants everywhere, books to read and even hand made products by local small businesses for sale. I honestly love going here! Thank you to all the staff there for all they do xx

I used to meet a friend who lives nearby here whenever I’d visit Wycombe, but since moving to Wycombe myself I’m basically here everyday. Ticks all the boxes in what makes a great coffee shop.

The Front Room is a super place if you are looking for a chilled corner to enjoy a good coffee (or tea!) and maybe a tasty toastie or a yummy sweet treat! The eclectic furniture, abundance of indoor plants of every shape and size and the ‘library’ make for a modern, relaxed vibe. There are also lots of working spaces (including plug sockets) if needed. And, as a bonus, the staff are all really friendly too. This is fast becoming one of our ‘go to’ locations.

It’s a nice cafe to relax; touch of green plants & books give it a calm atmosphere. They welcome different groups and events which is great too. They have some vegan options which is a plus. More would be perfect. (Vegan cookies & banana bread). They have yummy smoothies too.

Such a lovely, beautiful space, staffed by lovely, beautiful people. Great coffee and pastries to boot, and just the most wonderful little touches like the hand - written note on the door "Push... a little bit harder." It's the little things in life that make the world go around. This place, it makes the world a better place, and that's the purpose of existence.

Homey atmosphere, spacious and friendly. I had a flat white and yummy scone. There are various types of seats for different tastest. Outdoor sitting is wonderful in a sunny day. There are desk-like tables and electricity plugs for those who want to get a bit of work done on their laptops. Many books in the bookshelves for those who prefer to disconnect from social media & Internet and contemplate!

Made me feel home. Great coffee and the delicious cakes are the best I've ever tried. Lovely menu, they’re serving tasty & healthy sandwiches & cakes. There's an amazing community vibes. Different areas to chill inside, outside or on a couch. Nice wall art as well amazing mural with a variety of books. The staff are lovely & friendly. All feel like one big team family. Such a chilled place to have a very decent coffee & great sweet treats.

By far the best cafe in Wycombe; the vibe is relaxed and comfortable. It's the perfect place to meet friends for a catch up, but equally it's nice going alone to read a book or do some work. The staff are friendly and always hard working. It also feels really connected to the town; they sell craft items from local artists, and are often putting on events which are centred around wellbeing - I haven't been to one yet but there's always a wide selection available. They also host pup up parties for dachshunds which my mini daxie loved! Would highly recommend.
