Lovely spot, friendly staff and a really nice beer garden. Ideal location next to the train station too

4 star only because they have closed their kitchen, so no food in the pub. That's a bummer. Staff are good and friendly. Service not much to say as no food and not really a service just from a bar. Atmosphere is good, cozy indoor seating and good sporty outdoor.

Best pub in existence. Will never leave.

Used this pub yesterday as was visiting for the match. Perfect location right across the road from the Station and ideal for the shuttle bus to the Stadium. Very friendly and welcoming towards away fans offering 20% off drinks on production of your match ticket. No food but they are happy for you to take food in as long as you tidy up after. All of the ales were in excellent condition and there was plenty of choice of all other drinks too. Decent size inside, screens but no live Sport showing there is also a pool table and dart board which can be used. Popped back in after the match before the train and also got some cans to take out for the journey home with the 20% off. This will be our pub of choice now for any future visits to Wycombe 🙂

Nice local pub, with great selection of beers including the new Bedford Stout Genesis, wines and spirits. Good entertainment once a month such as live music / Karaoke. They have a pool table and darts board. They do free pool on Sundays and quiz nights on Wednesdays. Large beer garden.

The beer selection is very good I liked the On Point and the new Genesis stout. I missed a train by seconds so popped in to get out of the cold yesterday for 50 mins and the staff were nice, the place clean and lots of seats, different areas, nice n quiet as you woukd like it later afternoon.

I got a pint of Madri. Sat down,lifted the glass to take a sip. The smell hit me. OFF. I tried a sip,tasted slightly sour. I persevered. You never know,your lunch affects your pallet I got through,just under an inch of the pint and gave up. It did smell bad and it did taste sour. The barmaid was brilliant. She appologised and offerede another drink. I thanked her and asked if I could have a pint of Moretti. I drank all but the very bottom of the glass. I took the glass back to the bar and thanked the barmaid for her help and told her the Moretti had a,slight smell and.slightly,'off' taste. The barmaid pointed out that three other customers had/were drinking the Moretti without complaint. Hard to argue with the logic. The 'lines' were obviously not clean,to differing levels. . If your mostly,getting away with it. Why address the basic,cost,inducing issue?

Come here quite often with my mates and it's a great pub with a great selection of beers, really nice atmosphere. Really good pub quizzes! Would recommend for a good night out!

Absolutely great little pub, excellent meeting place before catching the train, a night out in Wycombe ir anything else. Massive garden, with about 1/8 of it covered and heated (not very well but better than nothing) for smokers etc, or if the weathers great out then the gardens spot on for drinking in. Drank here since i was very young (too young) way back when it had sticky carpets and rubbishy old pool tables etc, then when it was the bootlegger and now its flint cottage again, lots of memories for me, will continue to drink here forever i think!

I said I would attend The Flint when Carlisle united were down there, I was later than first thought due to a national rail strike. We had a group of 6 and some of the London supporters were there too. Again train strike stopped a lot more fans attending. Great venue right opposite the train station in High Wycombe. Surprisingly large pub garden with decking and covered areas too. Beer range is a little subdued but on a live music night, the atmosphere is fantastic. Great for summer beers in their beer garden too. Great place to meet with friends from out of town, especially if they're arriving by train. Would always recommend a visit.

I’m here often and always have a blast! Always feels inclusive and homely with YUMMY food! The beers are also yummy! I couldn’t recommend it enough, the staff are the cherry on top with all of them being friendly

Bad beer was much better when it was the bootlegger it would work if they had a back wall of craft beers on tap or just more of a selection then it would attract a lot more people the people felt a bit judgy behind the bar also.

Decent pub with the best garden in HW town centre. Plenty of space. One of the best places to watch sport, and they do a very good quiz night as well.

I love going to the Flint Cottage! We go all the time and I especially love the quiz they do on a Wednesday night. What a lovely way to have a midweek catch up with your friends.

This was an emergency stop for lunch on our way back from a road trip and we were pleasantly surprised. We walked in and were greeted by an array of pride bunting, which we felt was a positive sign as, whilst we aren’t lgbtq+ ourselves, we wouldn’t want to be anywhere that wasn’t welcoming to our lgbtq+ friends and family. We were made very welcome - as were the dogs - and enjoyed sharing cheesy fries with spicy sauerkraut, tater tots with aioli and Mac n cheese. The food was just what we wanted, well seasoned and tasty. I had the 2 for 1 cocktails which were refreshing and tasty. If this were in my area I would visit all the time.

The thing I love most about this place is how welcoming it is to everyone. The staff and manager are all lovely, and the chef is great at taking care of people with food intolerance/allergies. I'm coeliac and they are always careful to prepare food...

This is one of the best spots around. The bar staff especially Kirsty, Matt and Phoenix are amazing. The food is always fabulous. The Birds and the Bees is the best burger in Wycombe. It's worth a visit!
