Such an easy location to chill and have a full English breakfast, the breakfast buffet itself is everything you need to fill up ya belly with refill coffee, and unlike other cafes you don't feel like they want you out right after eating to free up tables they are very kind here and happier if you have a chat 😊

Fantastic breakfast in town (other food & snacks also available). Lovely people & the new owners are amazing. Very reasonable prices and generous portions. Your coffee or tea is included in the price. Highly recommend. They offer efficient, quick & excellent customer service. Support your local decent hardworking businesses.

Best breakfast in town... Until Mark left, tried once since, won't be returning. Update....... different people are doing the food now and it is a vast improvement.

Stumled across this place, wasnt sure if we had to be members as its a social club. As soon ad we walked in we were very welcomed. Lovely customer's and great staff. A good place to meet people, as we ve only just moved into this area. We bought tickets for a soul night and had a brilliant evening. Its kept well , clean, wheelchair access and a lift to go upstairs. No food atm but there hoping to open a kitchen soon. Pool table and other pub games.. parking available. Memberships are worth getting.

My son is a member there and he plays darts there great atmosphere lovely staff

I went to attend the Chinese New Year. There is a lift to the large social room 1st floor and toilets etc. I have not been to the downstairs area.

The Riverside has in the last few years been refurbished and is now an open and airy establishment with the ground floor hosting a stage, seating area , dance floor and a restaurant with home cooked food. This is a members club and with a membership you will have great value on the drinks and discounted tickets for events. Various events throughout the year from groups to karaoke to DJ’s who last week played northern soul and Motown music. It was excellent.

Was ok...lacked atmosphere though and if not a member drinks cost more.

Very friendly simply a pleasant place to enjoy a quiet drink to play some darts or pool and there is almost always something going on at weekends, highly recommended

We had the upstairs function room for a wake and couldn't have picked a better place. Staff were lovely, plenty of space available. We were able to set up our own music/screen for pictures, took our own food and the drinks are fairly priced. Pay and display parking available (however it is limited) but there's the swan multi-storey car park opposite which isn't too expensive if needed. Would like to go back eventually and try the breakfast I hear so many great reviews about!

Found this lovely little gem of a cafe today. As soon as you walk in you get a real home feeling of freshly cooked food. As I went in early, breakfast seemed to be the best thing to have, especially as I could see other peoples breakfasts on the tables. They looked amazing and to my delight the taste of it did not disappoint me. The food was very hot, freshly cooked and set out on the plate to perfection. The service was second to none. Very homely and friendly. The cafe has a fabulous menu to choose from, all homemade. I can not tell you the delight i felt when i saw that you could get an homemade cottage pie with seasonal vegetables. I like visiting High Wycombe, but have always been disappointed in how many different cultural food places there are. This is not ok for everyone so to find this little gem of a cafe has made my day. I will be visiting this place on a regular basis and trying out there lovely menu. Please go and visit. I can honestly say you will not be disappointed. Well done to the owners!!

Absolutely brilliant lovely place

This little bistro in the corner of the main bar in The Riverside Ex-serviceman’s will not disappoint anyone who loves a Sunday roast. Good portions, cooked nicely, good presentation and great value for money. The environment is clean with a 5 star food hygiene certificate. Mark and Sian who run the kitchen are friendly, welcoming and attentive. Of course no Sunday dinner is complete without a pudding to follow and again this did not disappoint. I would highly recommend the Riverside Bistro and we will definitely be going back.

Friendly staff, amazing and plentiful food at good value. Our extended family have had wonderful Christmas parties here and the atmosphere suits young and old alike. We often pop in for Sunday lunch or a snack and coffee/tea. There is usually live music/entertainment on Sunday afternoons in the Riverside bar which you can enjoy after a lovely meal. The food is always fresh and delicious. Nothing is too much trouble for Sian and Mark. Thank you for another brilliant Christmas family party and for those extra brussel sprouts! :)

First time visiting to try their Sunday roast after being recommended. Have to say, it didn't disappoint! Very friendly staff (and other customers) so nice atmosphere and the meal was lovely! Plenty of meat, lots of vegetables and lashings of gravy! Would definitely recommend! We now plan to go back during the week as the variety on the menu caters for all tastes. Exceptional value for money.

If you haven’t visited the bistro you should . We have just had breakfast and it was just the best so much and very hot when served. A pleasant atmosphere x the prices are cheap when you see the size of the breakfast coffee tea served with toast all included . Would recommend . Can’t believe we haven’t found it sooner. Will def be going back also lunches are served and today saw Christmas menu advertised x a lovey way to start our weekend

The food is always good and the portions are very generous. Friendly staff, great beer. Whenever we are in Wycombe its the go to place for dinner.

Just had a lovely meal for fathers day 6 of us 3 had roast dinners 1 had a chilli and the others had ham egg and chips and finally a brie and bacon bagget the food was amazing large portions and the whole bill 35.00 well worth the money.

I popped into town on Sunday to grab a few things. i parked in the swan car park which i never do and there i saw this restaurant that has been recommended to me. so we decided to go in and we had lunch. The food was amazing, very fast service. all staff was so attentive. i had 2 fussy grandchildren with me and they were very patient with them. Also they had live entertainment which i was not expecting.. so that was a little bonus..

warm and freiendly greeting on arrival, tables were clean and tidy. I ordered the Lamb roast dinner, very tasty, Well worth the money, the chef was very polite, waitress was very effiecent asked if I had enjoyed my meal which I thought was very kind of her to ask

Having been here loads of times before for the best breakfast in town, today we tried the Sunday roast and it’s the best you can get away from home. Mark and Sain thank you so much.

Last minute idea turned into a nice little visit , Good food. and have plans to go again. Would recomend.

When here with my family for a lovely English breakfast, the staff were very warm and friendly. The food was amazing cooked perfectly, we all enjoyed our meal I would definitely be going back again!!

Dropped in for Sunday lunch. Really pleased we did. Lovely full plates of well cooked food, reasonably priced and served by very friendly staff. Good drinks selection available too. Will be back.

The food here is very good value for money and all home cooked in the kitchen in full view. The breakfast is especially good and very popular. Everyone is welcomed by Mark,Shona and staff here at the Riverside. It used to be the Legion but is now a Community centre and ex servicemen’s club. You do not need to be a member.

Visiting friends who took us here for breakfast. It was cooked to order and was excellent and very reasonable. Very clean and nicely laid out area. Just wished we lived closer so that we could visit more often, but will definitely be back.

Always had a good meal here at affordable prices. Roasts excellent and cottage pie yummy with all fresh veg. Husband loves the scampi. If you don't want fries can replace with alternative eg salad. (Great for WW and SW members If you don't get tempted by the delicious desserts)!

Had an amazing home cooked family Sunday roast without peeling a spud! Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and great food at an affordable price. There is also a licensed bar onsite.As we were a large group, we pre-booked the private room at the back. Lots of empty plates and full bellies, but still room for home made apple crumble and custard (just like nanna used to make). Will definitely be going back!

Visited a little gem this morning the Riverside Bistro my wife ordered the standard breakfast and I had the large breakfast two vups of tea and 2 rounds of toast. AND ITWAS FANTASTIC - quality and great value and a great location opposite the Swan carpark in the Riverside club the old British legion club.ALL THIS FOR LESS THAN A TENNER see photos.

The food is amazing and at such an affordable price. Service is great and its a lovely friendly atmosphere, also very clean. Hats off to the chef!
