Great afternoon tea for 12 people including young children for my mother’s birthday. Would highly recommend and will be booking again.

Friendly staff. Efficient service. Great chicken Caesar salad. Quirky lay out with hidden garden bits. Lots of steps though.

We were coming down from NW England as we were booked on a library tour of the nearby Wormsley (5miles). I found this place on Trip Advisor and wasn't disappointed. We had a lovely lunch (I can recommend the Salmon and dill pate) in a beautiful place. We did book in advance, and I'm glad that we did, as it was busy. One of our party members is vegetarian, and they had lots of choices. They went with the wintery salad with large couscous and loved it. Parking is limited around the back (turn opposite the gate to the nearby NT property). There is a relatively large outside seating area which was very nice on a dry day. They were busy planting when we were there. I would visit again if we were in the area. A great find with lovely staff. Thank you.

We’ve been to the Apple Orchard many times as we often have appointments a few doors down. My son has l very seriously voted the it one of the top 2 places to get hot chocolate ever (the other being in Somerset). I can vouch for their excellent decaf flat whites, their double thickness vegan chocolate chip cookies, their cheese scones and their fantastic bagels. The setting is utterly gorgeous in the top floor of a furniture/gift shop, one of many very old buildings in the chocolate-box setting of West Wycombe. The staff are delightful and there’s also lots of pleasant outdoor seating as well a small private car park.

A wonderful café with a great offering of treats set in the most beautiful trove. A must visit if you’re in the area. I had a wonderful coffee there is also a wonderful selection of cold drinks, sweet and savoury offerings too.

Very friendly staff and excellent bagel (if a bit on the small side). We've been here a few times and enjoyed it. This time we had the ploughman's, which was more substantial, a bit like a big ham and cheese roll.

We made a booking online for afternoon tea, arrived and it was ready and lovely. Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, very charming. Parking lot behind cafe. Gift shop has nice items too! Will be back!

Today we had breakfast here, a beautiful and very characteristic place, a wide choice of croissants and desserts for breakfast, a very welcoming and warm environment, a shame that it is a little out of the way for us... Otherwise we would be here every day, a very quiet place for those who wanted to come here to study or work on the PC, highly recommended, very kind and polite staff

Was not told food had a 45 minute wait time from ordering

A very cute quaint cafe. Some amazing cake selections. I got a matcha latte which was delicious, but I couldn't see it on the menu. If I missed it I'm sorry, but if it's not on there I'd recommend adding it, because it was very good.

Really cosy place, a great seating area when wet outside. I'm sure in the summer with the outside seating area this place is wonderful. Lovely place to find a little corner with big cup of coffee/tea and a great book... and of course yummy cake.

Food is underwhelming. My falafel on flatbread was tasteless and tough. Cheese and ham toastie was well filled but the cheese had no flavour. Bacon and chicken toastie was slimey and dull. Coffee was nice.

What a gorgeous place!! Well worth making a detour to visit this quirky shopping venue and fabulous cafe. Staff were so friendly, the cake selection amazing and the coffee delicious. Highly recommended.

This is a very quaint tea shop within an interesting old building, but….. We had booked a lunchtime table, it did not appear to be that busy, but it took 55 minutes for 2 bowls of soup to arrive and I am sure it was tinned cream of mushroom soup! The charcuterie board was much better, but a quick anniversary lunch turned into 90 minutes of waiting. Not sure I would book for lunch again, but coffee and cake is fine as you collect it yourself from the serving counter. Goodness knows how long it would take if all of the many tables in the garden were occupied!

Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere! The panini I had was delicious and came with salad and crisps on the side. Great coffee and the mince pie was one of the best I’ve ever had. All the sweet treats look incredible so I’ll definitely be back. Great vegan options too. We arrived early on a Sunday morning and lots of tables had been reserved. Although we did find a table free it’s worth keeping in mind as I wouldn’t have thought to book at a cafe like this.

An absolute gem! Wonderful attentive, polite staff. Delicious cakes and drinks. Cosy, warm atmosphere, not to mention the gorgeous shop with many unusual finds. Highly recommend.

A friend and I stopped for lunch today. We both had the tomato and red pepper soup, mine with a couple of pieces of multi seed bread and my friend with a bacon toastie. They weren’t busy but it still took half an hour for our food to arrive. When it eventually arrived was warm; not the bowl of hot soup we were looking forward to. The soup consisted of a tin of chopped tomatoes and with a slice or two of roasted red pepper in it and the bacon toastie was warm with a couple of washed out looking bacon rashers. On the positive side, my bread was very nice as was the coffee.

This place deserves more than 5 stars! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly without being intrusive. They catered to all our needs with a smile, making us feel genuinely welcome. The menu has something for everyone, and the dishes are packed with flavor. We'll definitely be back!"

Don't go here for a breakfast sandwich! I asked for bacon and sausage sandwich and they literally put 2 party sausages in some bread and some medium rare bacon and charged me 8 pound for the privilege. Never have I returned a sandwich from a cafe but i was genuinely in shock. Staff were polite and coffee was lovely but the food was straight out of Asdas party isle

Great food, nice atmosphere - quaint building with seating spread over several small rooms which makes for a quieter mood, no loud background music which is a boon. Small kitchen so hot food can take a while, but is worth the wait. Cakes are exceptionally good value, some portions are so large that you could share! Service can be a bit chaotic, if they could sort that it would be 5 stars all round. Outside eating space in the summer is a delight. There is a car park, but during busy times you will be lucky to find a space.

A lovely discovery! We had a delicious lunch - very grateful for vegan options - and thought the atmosphere was very charming, with great service. I really liked the shop and would definitely go back. Perfect place for little gifts. I came away with a wonderful postcard!

Lovely coffee and cake in a really picturesque historic building. Friendly helpful staff.

We were a pre booked group having lunch. Service was super slow. Food was served over a 20-30 mins period so some had finished lunch before others were even served. Food was ok but pricey for what appeared to be bought from a supermarket and rearranged on a plate. Young staff really working hard to cover all the tables and were all super friendly throughout. Supplied birthday cake was nice but at £40 it should be.

Been here twice. Service is friendly and it’s a lovely place. Our hot drinks were luke warm on both occasions and there is only one toilet which results in a lengthy wait.

Excellent coffee, service & delicious sandwiches and cakes all at reasonable prices. There is a lovely gift shop. We will definitely be going there again soon

It is the most wonderful cafe in Bucks. The coffee here is one of the best and there is always a wide variety of home made cakes to choose from. The best of all is the welcoming attitude of the staff and the owners, you are never rushed so you can relax with friends, family in a cosy cafe with the best coffee! Lots of local walks to enjoy around this cafe too. Beautiful gift shop below the cafe where you can find some rare and exquisite gift items. All in all a wonderful place not to be missed if you are on this area!

I had been looking forward to returing since greatly enjoying the Apple Orchard before the pandemic, but was disappointed in to receive poor service and low value for money yesterday. My sandwich turned out to be a smal bagel for which I would not have countenanced paying the advertised price. My partner ordered a fruit scone which was stale and inedible (for which she, coming from a Middle Eastern country with high catering standards, would have refused to pay at home). Despiet a specific request to the contarary, our drinks were not served until after having waited some time for my food. I doubt I will return.

What a beautiful and quirky place. The food was fresh and delicious and there was a variety to choose from. The scones are delicious!

Lovely cafe. It has deservedly won an award this year. It's charming, serves great tea and coffee with a fabulous range of cakes and pastries. Lovely staff and good seating inside or out in the garden. Parking is no problem. There's a car park just for patrons at the back of the property. It's a bit hidden. To find it go to the west side of the village, turn straight up the hill, take the first right, go past the first car park, past the toilets and into the cafe car park. From which, you can walk straight into the cafe's garden. Fab. 😎👍

This is a gift shop with unusual items and go through the back out into a courtyard and you find an award winning cafe with seating inside and out. It won a silver award for the cafe and tea room of the year for the south of the UK. They serve the most wonderful cakes and a good selection of food. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There is a car park at the back of the cafe and cyclists are very welcome.

Thefoodwas very tasty and whilst it’s not cheap was good value. Service was slow, though they were busy, otherwise I’d have scored it higher. Definitely worth a visit aside from don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

Fantastic little cafe in the high street. We arrived late and visited the shop before we went to the cafe for a coffee, tea and some pastry’s.. Amir the Owner was there for help and was friendly. We will be visiting again soon

Disappointing to be honest. Had to chase up our sandwiches because they took so long and my bacon sandwich bread was a bit dry, no spread/butter or sauce, bacon was luke warm and fatty. The bun my husband had was dry. Cookie was ok. His ploughman's sandwich andwich was ok. Tea was nice. Staff were friendly and apologetic about the delay, and it's in a really nice location, but I wouldn't go back.

We had a 30 minute wait for food, which we weren't pre-warned about, and when it arrived, my husband's ploughman's sandwich was ok but my bacon sandwich contained luke warm bacon, no spread, dry bread. The bacon was smoked so it tasted ok once I removed the fat but it needed longer cooking or heating up or something. Really disappointing. Husband's Chelsea bun dry, my cookie was average.

What can I say, what a magical place, absolutely beautiful so glad I found it, and the added bonus IT'S DOG FRIENDLY, I had my boy's bowl and they offered to get him fresh water, planning a day trip back from London

Set upstairs and behind the high street and somewhat secluded this is a treasure of a place to dine. Their selection of snacks and deserts are both fresh and tasty as are the drinks on offer. All provided in a calm relaxing atmosphere with friendly helpful staff. With numerous seating areas both inside and out it is the perfect rest when visiting the area.

charming spot and perfect cup of tea!

4 of us had a cuppa and cake one weekday afternoon. It's such a great place to visit, and it was a great shame that the inclement weather meant we had to sit inside. The venue is similar to a tardis in its proportions, and it was a pleasure to wander around following our delicious sweet treats. I had the GF lemon and lime cake, which was a sizeable portion, beautifully moist and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing a good service. Dogs are also welcome. There is on street parking, but a larger car park is available just up the road with 1 hour free parking. This is a splendid place to visit.

5 stars for atmosphere, as the courtyard is pretty and tranquil. The service was also good. However, the food was not good value for money nor nutritious. The bagels (£8.99) were very small with not much filling and just a small portion of crisps on the side. There was no wholemeal / granary bread on offer and we left feeling hungry. Having cycled 50km to get there, I doubt we will return. It's a shame, as this used to be one of our favourite cafes.

Charming cafe in very old building. Some parking behind premises. Food was good but could have been improved with a more generous garnish. Service was slow, but it was very busy the day I visited. I would still be happy to go there again, but not if I just wanted a quick coffee.

Went here with a friend today. Had heard really good reviews. First impressions were, what a lovely quirky place and there was an amazing array of cakes. We ordered Rustic ploughman’s. Mmm, bit disappointed with the ham that was very plastic and had no taste. Plenty of bread though, another mmmm in a negative way. Sadly other issues were: they were struggling with the number of people and not helped by the fact that you could only pay with cash as their chip and pin was not working. Luckily my friend had cash. I was not able to enjoy a second latte as they had run out of oat milk. Really guys. The toasties were only available in white bread. I’d hoped for a choice. I will go back to see if this was just a nightmare day. It is in a beautiful setting and the cakes did look amazing.

The Apple Orchard is a very pleasant cafe situated on the main road going through West Wycombe. We visited when the weather was warm and sat out at one of the tables in the garden area. You can get a good quality light lunch here served to your table.

We celebrated our daughters 1st Birthday over the weekend @ The Apple Orchard. From the initial booking phase right through to our good byes, was perfect. We were able to view and reserve our preferred table, bring in decorations and a cake and over stay our welcome! The team were exceptional with a special thanks to Aparna, Amid and Abi. Thank you for helping us make our daughters special day memorable.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming café and it was an absolute delight. The ambiance of the café is simply beautiful, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations – it was not only delicious but also fantastically presented, showcasing the care and attention to detail that the chefs put into every dish. What's more, the prices are incredibly reasonable, providing excellent value for money. This café is a gem that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. It was the perfect ending to our walk, leaving us feeling satisfied and uplifted. Pay this place a visit – you won't be disappointed!

Staff were delightful, friendly and nice, place has a nice feel to it. However it was a bit disapointing given the prices that my choice is no longer provided (although still on the menu) so quickly picked a replacement at the till and was a bit disapointed given the cost. Coffee was just ok and again for the price i think the soup should have been fresh / homemade. Shame as the building and staff were really nice.

We had cake and tea/coffee here on Saturday afternoon. We'd sat in the garden on a previous summer visit but not been inside to the Tea Rooms. It's a lovely quirky set of various rooms, with a simple beverage and cake menu. The Pear and Almond cake was very good, moist and not dry! The staff are lovely and friendly too. It was busy for a Saturday afternoon which is always a good sign. And they accept cash as payment which is appreciated in this day and age. A lovely place that we'd recommend and that we will return too.

I needed to book a venue to host a baby shower in for my first pregnancy. Therefore I was on the search for the perfect place to hold this special event. I read the great reviews that The Apple Orchard has on Trip Advisor and scrolled through the lovely photos. From then, I just knew that I had to visit to experience the wonderful experiences that the customers have had there for myself. I visited and was blown away by many features. The setting is unique, clean and just soo pleasant inside and out! I love the character of the building and the beautiful uniqueness of the setting. The staff members are lovely, welcoming and very informative/helpful. I just knew that this was the setting that I would love to invite my closest friends and family to celebrate my first pregnancy with. I was so glad when the staff informed me that their was a function room to host this event in. The day was exceptional! Food was lovely (presented beautifully and tasty), cutlery was beautiful, the room is perfect, hosting was amazing, children were highly welcomed! All members of my party could not stop talking about how much they enjoyed the venue and food. They all said they wanted to continue to visit. I really loved how above and beyond the staff went with ensuring that our needs were met to make the day as perfect as it was. We were able to decorate the room and use extra chairs/tables to ensure that we were comfortable. I just loved every minute of it and the memories made on this day are priceless - thank you! I will continue to visit and cannot wait to visit again with my baby boy!

This wonderful cafe was recommended to us by a local and we’re so glad it was! We enjoyed finding the hidden cafe through the beautiful cobble alleyways. The fresh home made cakes are devine. Great selection and couldn’t beat the quality. Lovely place to rest and enjoy a pot of tea and cake. The interior is really nice. Comfortable and a bit quirky. Love the cups, plates and tea pots too. The staff are lovely. We’ll be back another day for lunch as the food looked great too.

I am so suprised, this place is such a gorgeous little coffee shop. Lovely presentation and very tasty food! Been going for years. The workers are lovely and polite and simply just so welcoming! However bit upset after my last visit, there was barely any stock or if there was it was slightly stale… asked to see the manager and was told that there was no coffee shop manager only the main shop manager. Felt a bit sorry for all the young workers taking that role on themselves… So again, like i said at the start absolutely lovely place and great food but absolutely shocking management!!

I haven't tried the cafe yet but the shop and garden is absolutely great. I will definitely go soon to try some cakes! *Update, I went for tea, totally deluded from the staff, arrived 30 minutes before closing but can see they couldn't wait to kick me out.. it's a shame, definitely don't go before closing as atmosphere will not be the most welcome, I'm sure any other time it's fine!

Stumbled upon this cafe by mistake and so pleased we did. The staff were very friendly & welcoming and the cake & coffee was great. I will be returning!

Toddlers and dogs allowed. Decent food. Ok prices. Feels like someone’s house. Would recommend and will return. From an efficiency perspective the waitresses come out with food but return to the kitchen with empty trays. Seems an odd strategy when there are vacated tables full of empties that they could clear on their way back…

It was my first time going here with a lovely friend. The atmosphere is so relaxing. It's like a lovely getaway. The flowers and bees were just lovely to look at, along with the water fountain. We finished it off with a trip to the lovely gift shop. It was a lovely day.

A great little cafe with a good selection of cakes to have with your coffee

An excellent lunch spot. I came here for lunch with a friend, and I had an amazing experience. The outdoor area had lots of shade, making it possible to sit in the shade and relax whilst enjoying the sun. The food was delicious and great value; the salmon pate bagel was reasonably sized and priced and made a lovely lunch, whilst two fairly large slices of carrot cake were only just over a fiver altogether. The cake was a good quality, moist and tatsty, but not overly sweet which is sometimes the case at other places. The staff service was quick and friendly, the bathroom and tables clean and hygienic. Overall it made a wonderful spot to have lunch and catch up. A hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone.

A tasty and filling afternoon tea! Service was great, as well. A hidden gem, above a shop. Lovely garden. There is parking round the back. We left the too-fishy sandwiches (taramasalata?), but the rest were really nice, and the millionaire's and brownies were excellent. The scones were fine. Thanks!

This is a fantastic place to eat and browse! There’s a lovely courtyard to eat outdoors, and lots of space inside. They have an excellent gluten free menu and the food was delicious. The car park is round the back!
