Had a full English breakfast with my son before getting the train back to Liverpool, left nothing it was yummy 😋

Shame it's closing just before Xmas

Love this place .... go so often they no what we have .....

This is a classic greasy spoon. It serves hangover food in an 80s time warp. The worse thing they could possibly do is try to improve it. Service is very quick and the menu inexpensive. We had breakfast, but will be returning to try the burgers.

This 'proper' greasy spoon is like stepping back in time with its retro decor and platefuls of freshly fried food at affordable prices. Great value for money and tastiest breaky I have had in ages!

After attending the mighty Status Quo concert in the nearby Vivary park the night before, my wife sent me a link to a possible breakfast place - Biddy's ! Have to say it was a most welcoming place, excellent food and drink at great prices, as well as the staff too. A great 1st experience.

For the price of less than a cup of coffee in certain places in Taunton I was able to be served a very quick mini breakfast and orange before heading to a business meeting at Somerset Innovation Centre - Very welcoming and autism awareness Highly recommend if your in a rush in the morning and on a tight budget

Stopped off here for a coffee before our swim. It's was really busy, even so the service was quick, great and the best value around. It's always a nostalgic visit for me, having come here as a kid with my parents, I love that it still looks the same. If it ain't broke!

Best value breakfast in town. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Proper fried bread and not deep fried. Haven't been since before Covid and so pleased it's just the same.

Great place for friendly staff that remember the drink you had last time and bring it to you just after you sit down. It's a diner, so expect what you would from one. Food is typical of a diner. Honest and good diner food at a very good price. Can eat there for £10 for 2 people.

This place has not changed in over a decade. A solid cafe fry up with a warm welcome in an old school vibe.

Proper oldschool 'greasy spoon', cheap, cheerful and staff are very friendly. Cleanest greasy spoon cafe I've ever been to. Granted it's not fine dining however the food's good -- my only suggestion is I wish they'd butter the burger buns. Rapid service too, food came piping hot within 10 mins of ordering. Going in here is like stepping back in time, the sort of place your Nan would take you as a kid. 10/10 Edit: I went for the half pounder burger meal but didn't want side salad, so the waitress asked if I wanted beans in lieu free of charge, you don't get service this good in Mcdonalds

Omelettes are made to your liking with various fillings of your choice or an all day breakfast of varying sizes or maybe a veggie breakfast or brunch there's so much to choose from.

Will come again, Food and service was super quick, hot, not greasy at all. Great price and one of the best eggs, bacon, beans and fried slice i’ve had in a restaurant in ages.

This is a relaxed place to eat, the food is good, home cooked meals that are tasty. The staff are very friendly and as regulars will remember what you ordered. We use Biddy's at least once a week and the staff know us, we are like one big happy family.

A good ole English breakfast. Friendly staff. And a kind of feel like home feeling. Not many cafes around like this. Absolutely love it. 💪

Last of the greasy spoons era. You pay for what you get.. no high prices but ingredients reflect honestly to the prices... oh and its not greasy, that was just a term. Recommend if your hungry, working, or ski nt. I personally have been eating there for nearly two decades.

Great little traditional cafe. Really appreciated finding this open early in the morning for a hearty breakfast before I set off on my walks whilst staying in Taunton.

Had a sausage, bacon and egg bap absolutely disgusting egg was cold ,asked for crispy bacon didn't get it lots of fat on which i cannot eat hence why I asked for crispy will not be going there ever again

They have been here nearly as long as I have been on this Earth. Good, basic grub cooked fresh to order. Staff are always friendly and service is quick.

Due to look the lockdown nonsense, I had not been back to Taunton for 2.5 years so was delighted to see Biddy's Burger Bar was still in rude health. The food was great, reasonably priced and service first class. Had the Mega Breakfast @11 - didn't need to eat again until 8

Top bacon sarnie and a cuppa which just hit the spot - £4.20 all in. Staff very friendly and lovely cafe/seating area in 1960’s vinyl benches style. Highly recommended!

Fab simple breakfast. Bigger breakfasts available. Open early on Saturday morning which was great and is about 5 - 10 mins from train station.

I'd not been in Taunton for a couple of years, but during a visit at the weekend we passed this little gem. I suspect it's not seen a decorator since the 1970s with orange PVC seats and brown worn Formica tables. It's nice having the childhood memories stirred. We sat at the clean table and did not have long to wait for an attentive staff member to take a hot drink order to warm us up from the cold outside. I went for the large breakfast and wife for a jacket spud. Both arrived quickly, were of generous portions and tasted great. All for a superb price. If you're in Taunton, just head a little further up the main shopping street and head down the road Biddy's is on for a filling meal without hitting your pocket too hard.

Drove past many a time but decided to come in and taste the breakfasts with my son. Delicious, freshly cooked and generous portions. Will definitely be back.

Retro restaurant, it does do a great breakfast, burger meals both adults and children's are great value for the price, staff really warm and welcoming, I will definitely go back and would definitely recommend

I had an all day breakfast & 2 latte's, it was very nice enjoyed it alot, & the price was reasonable too.....oh I also had a banana split very yummy 😋 will deffo be going there again, well worth the money & the staff are very nice, friendly but not in your space 😁 really enjoyed it x

We've seen this place many times we past by so we think it's time to try their breakfast! . It was a busy morning but the lady at the front of the house is so very kind and welcome us to take a sit . . After a few minutes, she ask us for drinks and ordered from the table . . Even it's a busy morning, food was fast and cooked perfectly! . . We feel so bad not having cash as tip as they can't get in on their card machine!
