You have to have been taken to this place by someone in the know as its out of Wellington and tucked away from sight. Great interior and atmosphere, good menu although it bit too modern for my 90 year old mother so we stuck to coffee and cake which we're both delicious. Worth a trip.

We did the Intro to Coffee 2hr course with Tom (5 of us) and we were really impressed. Tom’s knowledge and explanation of the many varieties of processes behind coffee from its growth all the way to making an espresso was brilliant. The course shot by really quickly and we all really got a lot out of it. Couldn’t recommend enough!

My partner and I love this place. The coffee is my favourite from any coffee shop I've ever been to and we buy their beans so we can have it at home! The food is lovely as well, not 100% to my taste but still very good indeed and their cakes and pastries are excellent. All that paired with great service from a lovely team makes the whole experience a brilliant one. Definitely recommend!

First time visit. Love the vibe and feel of this place. Coffee was good, mine needed to be stronger which was sorted without fuss. Food was tbh not great, I really wanted it to be. Cooked breakfasts were just ok (lacked flavour and needed to be hotter), banana waffles very heavy on the creme fraiche, poached peaches excellent and the N African/ ME breakfast was described as nice but watery.

We went to Braziers (Wellington) to gain more information on the roasting of the bean to cup procedure where Rob gave us a brilliant overview and demonstration with the roasting.. He was so brilliant that we went ahead and bought a bean to cup coffee maker after buying different variations of the beans that Brazier sell including their Swiss watered decaf bean which is decaffeinated by the chemical free process.. Their coffee is absolutely devine and their breakfast was the best.. Customer service in the coffee shop was again brilliant.. many thanks, Braziers will be seeing a lot more of us in the future

Greeted by a friendly young lady on arrival, asked to sit where tables were laid up but we needed 3 seats rather than 2 so went to a bigger table being cleared. We asked if we could sit at the table being cleared and we're completely ignored. Just waited and sat there anyway. A nice lady came to take our order, unfortunately the table wasn't wiped and was covered in crumbs. Our food came and it was very disappointing. I had the crispy egg with truffle mushrooms, no seasoning or at least couldn't taste any, the toast was absolutely sodden in oil that had been put on it or from frying mushrooms, the egg was barely cooked, it was just slop, it was really not a nice breakfast. My husband had a the fry, a top end price for a fry up which we dont mind paying if its worth it. A slither of over cooked black pudding, one egg, swimming in tasteless baked beans. We have just moved to Wellington across the road from tone mill, we eat out a lot it would've been nice have somewhere to go for breakfast, but won't be going again. I suspect it might be due to lack of experience as all the staff look really young. The bread and cake looked good and the coffee was nice. The building is interesting. That was all.

Our visit yesterday (3 friends) wasn't as enjoyable as previous visits. Quite difficult to find something simple and tasty to order from the menu - I had the mushrooms on sourdough with a crispy poached egg which was fine. My friends asked for bacon baps but no baps so thick chunks bread was very doughy and not an easy eat! One had sausages which she didn't want! Had to ask for tomato sauce. No salt on the table. Service was ok but could have been so much better. Lots of flies flying around the windows which need a good cleaning inside and out. I managed to swat 3 or 4 but maybe this lovely little café needs some attention to detail and if they want local customers to keep returning.

A gem tucked away at Tonedale Mills. One of the very few places locally serving breakfasts at the weekend that also welcomes dogs. As a result there is a loyal following; other places like Sheppeys Cafe and Rumwell Farm shop should take note. It was so good we went back twice in one day bringing another group with us. The breakfast Fry Up was huge, delicious, coffee great and the cakes in the afternoon were good too. The only negative was that the all day brunches stopped serving at 2.15pm while the cafe stayed open until 4pm and it only said it in tiny print on the side of the menu. The large young men in our return group were hoping for food, so had cake instead. However, this is a fantastic place, worth seeking out and I hope it's there to stay. Best to book a table as it is busy from 10am to 12.30pm

I really want to rate it higher because it used to be great, but it seems to be getting worse each time we visit. Food is good when it's good, but is increasingly hit and miss, and it's expensive, so should be better. The service these days is glacial and begrudging, no matter what day or time you visit it always feels they are unprepared to be serving customers, with too few staff and those you can see ignoring you. It's very easy to wait 15 minutes to be served and an hour for your food. Last time we visited we had finished our drinks and sat waiting for over 40 minutes for the food to accompany it. We like to support local businesses and have been regularly buying their coffee for over a year but I am particularly frustrated that no matter how many times we asked for coffee to be ground for a stove top espresso kettle we get blank stares as though I've made it up and am wasting their time. One would have thought a company who prided itself on being an artisan coffee roaster would know what this is. Seems like all this could be solved with more staff and better training, but it doesn't seem to be happening. It's a shame, but time to look elsewhere I think.

The stars are for the staff and decor. If I could give zero for the food and coffee I would. The place is really cute and the staff are absolutely lovely. The food is almost entirely premixed/processed. The bread and sauces are fantastic, but the avocado tastes worse than you can get at a corner shop with a broken cooler. The ‘rosti’s’ are little more than frozen hash brown rings. The flavour profiles should be delightful, but they fall flat as under seasoned and over-acidic. The coffee— whether at a roasting level or a barista one— is burnt and incredibly bitter. Significantly over-priced for what it is. Sad as it’s one of the few local/boutique eateries we’ve got.

We ordered 1x flat white and 1x latte, there was no latte art and found the coffee to be extremely milky and thin, with no smell or taste beyond hot milk and no difference in each of the drinks, beyond volume. There were also coffee grounds in both, so hopefully just a bad day with the machine not set up right Staff and atmosphere were great, just didn’t hit the mark with the coffee sadly

Popped in to somewhere I have enjoyed in the past but have felt has been a bit underwhelming the last few times I have been and was totally disappointed. The menu is very limited and for some things I felt expensive - a bacon roll should not cost more than £7. I ordered the soup which was presented nicely with what looked like focaccia bread. The bread was soggy and chewy not like any focaccia I have ever had before and the pumpkin soup was sour and I didn’t like the taste at all. I could not eat it. My friend could not find anything on the menu that really appealed so had sourdough toast. Staff took very little attention and did not clear away our dishes. Staff seemed to have little to do and one was busy on the phone with the door to outside open allowing what was a warm room to get very chilled I am sure it’s great coffee but will not be returning until someone tells me there had been significant change.

First, the road signage is almost non-existent. It took us 15 minutes, driving back and forth, asking three locals, to eventually find it. The entrance sign was tiny. So we arrived late and apologised. We were sat at a table separated from the main dining area and literally ignored for 20 minutes. It wasn’t busy. Eventually we were given menus. The menu could best be described as odd. We selected starters, mains and drinks. The waitress then returned saying one main wasn’t available that day and the only alcoholic drinks were house red, house white and house rose wines. Why didn’t she know this anyway? The starters were OK. The mains were acceptable even if the sourdough bread crust was impenetrable. We were told the wine was Rioja but Cabernet Sauvignon arrived which was passed off as “its house red” when challenged. We weren’t offered water although glasses were on the table. We decided to give dessert a miss. We asked for the bill and expressed our dissatisfaction as explained above. My friend went to the bar to pay the bill - In compensation they removed the starter cost which was probably acceptable. When asked why we had been ignored for so long he was told that they are just a cafe! We walked to the car - I use a walking stick as I have Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia. When I got to the car I noticed the head waiter creeping behind a bin taking a photo of me getting in the car. He then came over and said if I drove away he would report drunken driving to the police! We challenged him and he implied he was obliged to do this. We dove the short distance to my friend’s house. Half an hour later a policeman arrived at the door and said he had to caution me and was obliged to breathalyse me as the driver. The policeman was very professional. I was well below the limit. Apparently anyone can report another if over consumption of alcohol is suspected which is sensible of course. Clearly we believe another motive was the cause of the head waiter’s report. And it nicely rounded off a lovely lunchtime experience.

Brazier used to be a fantastic place for brunch/lunch but those times are over. It used to be buzzing but now there is just a disappointed hum. Cutting corners on food, putting curry in a falafel that bore no resemblance to the real thing, slabs of thick, cheap white supermarket bread, mashed avocado and baked beans in the breakfast. What? A certain disinterested attitude from the staff - all very happy as a team working together but seemingly not for the benefit of their customers. This venue came recommended by a local, a little tricky to find but a lovey location albeit a little out of town. Not the best of greetings, perhaps forgivable if the place was busy, I’m afraid there was just a handful of customers… ordered a latte to-go as I had to be elsewhere, not a lot of ‘love’ in the process of being a barista which reflected in a coffee that resembled an instant coffee, sad to say the texture was thin and watery and the taste was mediocre. Maybe a bad day to visit, who knows? Sorry Brazier, the food out the kitchen looked fab too!

We had booked so no problem finding a table and we had our drinks order taken promptly. The menu is an all day brunch with a few extras and we chose the £12 meals - if I say fritters and a deconstructed kedgeree it doesn't do it justice. The flavours are bang on trend and delicious (the two don't always go together). We followed up with a slice of cake each - all the choices were gorgeous looking - my bakewell blondie was almondy and gooey. With a decaf coffee (not strong enough for my liking), my bill was £18 and well worth it. Lovely staff, great service. Immediately brought carafe of chilled water, dish of delicious olives and warm, fresh crusty bread to table, a big difference to our experience at the Pump House where none of this was provided. Food was superb, wine bottle brought in ice bucket, again, not so at the Pump House. Not a huge choice on menu but we all had something different and we were all thoroughly impressed with the quality and flavour of the meals. Overall a really lovely meal out, we shall definitely be going there again. Can thoroughly recommend

Oh boy, what a surprise. Riding a motorbike long distances even on a sunny day can be exhausting and we'd been looking for a place to stop for half an hour before we spotted the telltale sign of 'Coffee Roast'. It wasn't immediately obvious where the coffee house was and we nearly left thinking it must be an out of date sign. But happily, a chance conversation with some local ladies directed us through an alleyway to Coffee Heaven. If you like coffee you have to come here. This is not just a coffee shop....this is the whole works and they really know how to serve a truly excellent coffee. They roast and grind and will sell you beans, as well. We bought some Rwandan beans...but their own blend made quite superb coffee. This is clearly a great gathering point for those who know...and now, so do we.

Once you find this place you'll be rewarded with the eclectic interiors and even more rewarding coffee. I can confidently say I had the best Flat White ever in the UK! Lovely homemade cakes with numerous GF options. Definitely worth seeking out

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!Without doubt this is the best food in Wellington. Super friendly staff, great setting, always clean...basically, it's perfect. If there is better food in a 10 mile radius, I have not found it...sorry to my wife's cooking, but I think she'd agree.Caters for meat eaters like myself but also vegetarians like my wife. Probably vegan friendly, but I've not looked for that.Cannot recommend highly enough.Oh and the coffee is so fresh it's insane!

And it was epic. We started ordering coffee from these guys at the start of lockdown and kept ordering as it's so good! Began following them on insta and have been desperate to go and try their food throughout lockdown as we love their Aussie inspired menu. It really didn't disappoint. My husband ordered the breakfast burger, I had the homemade beans on toast and it was one of the most delicious brunches I've ever had. I can't stop thinking about it! Service was great despite them being extremely busy and their first Saturday back post lockdown. A must visit!!

I love this coffee shop, great unusual food Good for discovering new ingredients and different dishes Only negative is that the service is a little slow, otherwise I would have given it five stars

Makes excellent use of part of an old industrial building (woollen Mill) and is decorated in a simple but stylish fashion. Renowned for excellent coffee but the food is also good. Pop in every now and then for a coffee and avocado toast...lovely. Welcoming and good service as well.

If you actually manage to find Brazier, you will definitely not be disappointed. Hidden in the bowels of Tonedale Mill, it’s an unexpected treasure. The menu is varied and fresh. I had the truffled mushrooms on brioche with a soft panko crumbed poached egg. It was sublime! Thoroughly recommended!

Been here a couple of times and tbf they do some really good cafe food. The baked beans are amazing and poached eggs on sour dough were perfect. Only criticism would be cut toast a bit thicker and not cooked so much

Can highly recommend staff are so friendly and helpful. Even went the extra mile and went out to get a white onion just for my wife as she is allergic. And the baked potato and chilli was spot on 😁👍

We come here often, and the fact it’s 100% vegan is such a plus. Always great coffee, great cakes, and great sausage rolls. My belly is rumbling right now thinking of this coffee shop. I don’t come as much as I should but deffo a contender for best coffee shop in Taunton.

What's not to like about the Little Wine Shop, Social Wine Bar and Tapas. Our recent trip was alcohol free but still worth a visit for the tremendous tapas and cheese selection. Had many a visit wih delicious wines but still loved the ambience and friendly customer service without the wine! Thank you.

We called into the outside area overlooking the sea as we have done before. Excellent for coffee, specialist drinks, baked treats and wonderful veggie sausage rolls
