That Coffee Place in North Somerset

Following a previous review, that I removed, having been requested by this accounts owner to make myself known to staff the next time I visited, which is what I did today. Silly me. A full coffee cup, a one third filled soup bowl, rolls from a neighbouring establishment, I asked permission to combine on the table. Total bill £11-95. The soup is quite excellent, spicy and thick, yet they persist with offering pre-sliced sourdough, as the lady in the bakery agreed, it must be roll and soup, preferably crusty!

Reliably the best coffee in the area.

Lovely local business with lots of interesting drink options, hot and cold. Reasonable range of vegan and gluten free options too, what's not to like? Nice atmosphere, it feels very friendly

Gosh just really nice people,and good food,cakes,great coffee, such a change from the usually English Customer service, My friend was not well and they noticed,and offered help. looked after man in wheelchair looked after Chap with Mental health treated respectfully! Such a contrast from the place at the top of the Strawberry line,where the customer really does not matter.We only found this place because they were so awful. This is on my go again list. Been several times more . March 29/2023 Once again rescued by the lovely girls after stopping somewhere less Hospitable Excellent,just for the smiles ,the coffee is excellent,the cakes very nice and the panini very pleasant with a tasty small salad .

We take our granddaughter here each week for a milkshake and a cake,she loves them both.We have a coffee and a cake each,both again are very good.We would seriously recommend you try That coffee place.

Excellent. Had Pannini brie, cranberry and bacon and vegetarian option of humous and halloumi fabulous, very tasty. Cappuccino was excellent, nice to have a really great cup of coffee. Staff very friendly welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Don't change your coffee great tasting. Well done x

Popped in after an appointment in Yatton for a quick bite to eat. Beautiful little cafe, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was simply stunning, both to look at and to eat. Plenty of drink options available as well 👏🏼

Horrible place, staff are rude! Staff can just kick you out in a very rude way if they need the table. If you need me to buy more coffee to stay I would have paid for another drink or snack. Just the way the staff spoke to me is awful.

Beautiful little coffee shop. Very friendly staff and one of the tastiest home made baguettes I have ever had. Definitely recommend.

We came here for refreshments after a long walk around Yatton (lovely place is Yatton, more people should know about it). We sat outside in the square and had cups of tea and watched the world go by. We'll definitely come here again when we come to Yatton.

We visited today and had a great coffee. I was so impressed that we had to have another flat white! Fabulous, friendly service. We will definitely be back. X

Always delicious cakes and drinks

It was lovely being able to sit inside. Loved the booths even though they are because of covid.

Quite a little gem, even better when you can sit outside in the sunshine.

A small place, but a big heart. Great coffee (as you would expect) and cakes a plenty. Clean, tidy and we liked the wooden dividers between tables and available sanitiser (Covid safety measures). All in all we wished this place was local to us - sadly it isn't! Thank you 'That Coffee Place'

An amazing little coffee shop which has really friendly and welcoming staff, Nothing is ever too much for them. Great simple menu yet lots of choice and something to suit everyone!! Great selection for kids as well as adults. Would highly recommend there tuna panini and salad or chicken and bacon baguette... huge favourite of mine!

We have been staying locally for the past 10 days and found this coffee shop early on. Have breakfasted here almost every day. Fantastic breakfast baguette and they do toast and peanut butter which is so great as you rarely get peanut butter out. The coffee is excellent and my son loved the milkshake. Well run, spotlessly clean. Worth a detour to try the cheesecake.

Absolutely love this cafe! Honestly the choice of drinks and food is so good it's hard to decide what to go for. The homemade cakes all look amazing, and there's a great selection of veggie and vegan options. Really friendly, helpful staff and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Lovely food, particularly the specials board soup seems to be consistently good. Great range of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and milkshakes this far from the city. Coffee roast is a little darker than my taste but still very good.

Haven't been in a while but wanted yo treat myself because they do the nicest milk shakes. Also loving the Christmas decorations.

A fine place to eat and drink during the day, the service is very good, the coffee is also very good, even the 'hot' chocolate is HOT A good selection of cakes etc, and plenty of space I also love the way they decorate the room for things like Halloween etc

Went in for an early evening smoothie. Had super fast and friendly service by a lovely girl called Jessica. Furthermore it was a great smoothie

Lovely place, but, I ordered a sandwich and it came without butter and was half toasted for some strange reason, would have been fine if I ordered a toastie but I didn't. Then to top it off dogs were allowed in the cafe and I'm not a great fan of dog hair in my food.

A perfect example of a warm, welcoming and great business! The Barristas are friendly and ALWAYS greet you with a smile! Price is so fair for how delicious the coffee it! Nice and cozey to sit and chat with friends, read a book or get some studying done! Cakes are also fantastic and you can't help but over indulge! Plus the loyal programme is good, a stamp every time you order a coffee, and then your 10th one is free! Well done!

Good coffee and friendly atmosphere.

My friends and I have been regular visitors since it opened over a year ago. I love the leaf tea, my children love the milshakes. Homemade cakes are phenomenal, paninis and salads are lovely. I don't know what i did with my spare time before Paulina and her amazing staff opened that coffee place! It is such a great addition to Yatton precinct. With free wifi it's a great place to take your laptop and work while enjoying the surroundings.

Coffee, Brown Juice, Joe, Mocha, Caffinated love Nectar, The Hot Black Peril, Old Beany, Naughty Squash, Dadsy's Pop, Black Gold, Super Drink, Grandad's Special Fluid, St. Nick's festive Funbags. It goes by many names and you can get it here by the cupfull. Speak to Neil Behind the counter if you're after something a bit stronger. Ask for the "special Coffee" be prepared though. Last time I had it I Was Pronounced Clinically dead. I only managed to write this review by posessing the body of a magpie in my spirit form and tapping it out on a stolen smartphone using my beak.

Nice place, friendly staff, but a little cramped and was v busy leading to a considerable wait time between ordering / paying and receiving drinks.

Certainly lives up to the good reviews. And what a treat to sit outside for breakfast in English sunshine in October. Friendly, efficient service. Delicious bacon sandwich. But the quality coffee was the highlight.

Tucked away in the corner of the shopping precinct you could easily miss That Coffee Place but don't.

I stopped of here whilst passing through and I am so pleased I did. Not only were the ladies serving so polite and friendly but the coffee was quite simply the best I have ever had, surrounds were impeccable and panini wasn’t your run of a mill quick stop thrown on a plate, salad garnished with a lovely balsamic vinegar, just that little touch showing that they care. Highly highly recommend if you are looking for the best coffee around

I'm Italian .. Here I found a great cappuccino .. Really delicious .. !!! Also they have a selection of teas .. Various types of croissants and muffins ... They have delicious sandwiches for lunch or for breakfast! 😅😜

Fresh coffees and milkshakes. Outdoor seating area. Fresh home made cakes and biscuits. Deals for drink and a cake on often. Clean and tidy. Better than the neighbouring chain. Can be a bit expensive but you pay for what you get.

Great cafe, good tea, lovely toasted tea cake

A very pleasant cafe/coffee shop. Great coffee and a good selection of cakes and sandwiches all consumed to a background of pleasant jazz music. This cafe also has very clean toilet which have baby changing facilities.

Impromptu lunch with really well presented baguettes and refreshing drinks. A good meeting place with friendly welcoming staff.

This is a great addition to Yatton. We have been here for breakfast, cake and milkshakes, all of which are fab. Friendly and quick service, reasonable prices. I would highly recommend.

Yatton needed a decent place to have a coffee and meet friends. This cafe is very nicely decorated and has lovely obliging staff. I had a peppermint tea which was the most amazing I have ever tasted - real leaves in a teapot. The toasted teacake was excellent and people were raving over the cakes. Will be going again soon!

My husband and myself visit here regularly. Love the coffee, hubby loves their milkshakes and we both like their delicious sandwiches. Staff are friendly and professional.

Went there for a simple Valentine’s Day lunch, the Bacon and Brie panini was delicious, Reasonably priced, good food. Lots more to try, will have to go back!
