Central Perks Cafe Bar in North Somerset

We are having Chris Chu funeral wake at the cafe on Wednesday 11th September 10.30am. This was Chris's favorite place for many years before his passing on 19.08.2024.

Quick service, clean environment allows pets, really nice food and drinks are immaculate, the aroma is such a swell smell and is just the best cafe I've been in for years. 100% Recommend

Always great breakfasts here, highly recommended the staff are lovely and the food it great and the prices are brilliant too.

.. and we found our bacon baps very tasty and the pot of tea of good quality. No complaints there at all. The two ladies - cook and waitress - seemed to work well and service was spot on. would go again when in the area.

Me and a friend decided to get breakfast here. The lady who served us was very friendly, with a great atmosphere, and the breakfast was almost spot on except for the sausage, which had hard gristley bits in and tasted very cheap.

Went to Weston for the beach race, seen that Central Perks was open at 8am Saturday morning, 10/10 service, 10/10 for food. Not open on Sunday morning until we asked, got there Sunday morning expecting to go to McDonald's. They opened up for us and sorted out another 5 top class breakfasts which set us all up for the day. Great food, great prices and excellent owners. Looking forward to going back next year 😀

Best breakfast in Weston-super-Mare, no competition, full belly without bashing the wallet and the most friendly accommodating staff. Always a pleasure to visit but I mostly work outside of weston so don't get to enjoy the place daily or id be a regular.

Wonderful service, good wholesome cafe food and good menu. I'm only giving 4 stars as I had bacon/egg/chips and was suprised to have just one small egg. Not a proper portion in my opinion, should be 2 eggs. I used to have this dish regularly when I lived in South London a few years ago and it was a much bigger portion for less cost, but I appreciate times have changed. The chips were lovely.

We came here to enjoy a breakfast with family to set us up for the day, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and a short wait for all 3 of us as the food came out altogether. The tea was served in two big pots with lovely mugs and was strong. The cafe was not overly busy, but was busy enough for the staff to be busy but they worked hard to bring the food out hot. Unfortunately, the only bad thing was that the heating wasn't on and it was quite cold for my Nan. I understand the current climate in regards to the Cost of Living at the moment and we have had an exceptionally cold winter, however this did not hinder our experience too much. Lovely customer service and would return again.

Great breakfast and super friendly service.

The staff were amazing and helpful as visually impaired and hard of hearing and Sonia helped me with my dietary requirements and find me a seat so I could fold up my walking frame and it was so clean and the food was really hot and the drinking chocolate was nice and creamy and sweet and everytime I go to Weston-super-Mare now and I am prepared to go out of my way so I can have my meals in there for it was worth discovering by asking a local in September 2022 where to eat and he advised me to use you and I am glad he did and I will not go anywhere and when we went down in the end November to 3rd of December the costs hadn't gone up if at all and its definitely worth the money shame you don't stay open later than 3pn

Excellent food cooked as you order they do a slimming World breakfast , good value for money

I had a tasty baked potato with tuna mayo, it was a generous portion with a side salad and a slaw too - very yum and very much needed at the time! Mum and Dad liked their snacks as well!! Lovely staff too, very chatty and friendly :)

Lovely! Really enjoyed our breakfast - proper coffee and strong tea. Very happy to recommend. We were on holiday in Weston, and if we were there again we would be happy to return to Central Perks. Yum!

Popped in here for breakfast. We set out to visit Scottys but it doesn’t open until 12 . Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. A proper locals place where Dawn the waitress is incredibly warm and patient.

I had the mixed grill & my mother had sausage & mash. The food was lovely & the portions were so large that neither of us was able to eat all of it. Two wonderful ladies did a fantastic job of both the cooking and service. Will definitely be visiting again.

We popped in as a family of 4 last Saturday morning as we were looking for breakfast as were camping locally and needed a warm meal. We Were warmly greeted by a friendly lady and service was prompt and efficient. We all ordered cooked full English and it was lovely, hot & tasty. Great sized coffee cups were much appreciated. Toilets were clean and the cafe was well kept and tidy. Well done and keep up the good work!

Been to this cafe it is a horrible atmosphere, the bacon is black from not cleaning the grill and dripping in grease, the coffee seems very bitter and the front of house staff are very rude and can not get you out the door quick enough, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAFE AT ALL.

An amazing place to go and have lovely Portuguese food.

As a regular visitor to weston, we visit here all the time. The quality of food hasn't changed, proberly due to the excellent skills of phil and John but the atmosphere isn't quite the same, miss Angela's smiling face and happy go nature. She used to make us feel valued, now we cud just be anyone not a regular, such a shame.

Had the roast lamb dinner for 8 pounds which included lemon cheesecake and ice cream dessert. The lamb was worth that price on its own even without the roast and mash potatoes, carrots,cabbage,cauliflower,broccoli and parsnips. Plus a Yorkshire pudding ! All served promptly and pipng hot.

Had the standard breakfast, all executed well, nice bacon and sausage. The tea included came in a pot with milk on the side. The lady who served me was pleasant and attentive, and the place was clean and tidy. Good cafe 👍🏻

We came here for tea after an exhausting shopping session, and, oh, it was so refreshing, sitting in the window on the comfy chairs. This cafe is absolutely pristine, well designed in clean lines, really top notch. The lovely baristress is extremely charming and, when we enquired, told us about her special visor (attached to spectacles) and where to buy them. The tea was especially nice, a teapot, separate pots of milk and long glass mugs to drink from. We had a really pleasurable and informative sojourn at Central Perks. The toilets are very clean and regularly serviced. Highly recommended!

Lively cafe, owner very friendly. Cafe is very clean and safe, sanitiser at the door, Name and phone number in the book. I'm doing slimming world and was worried what to have, they do a "slimming breakfast" !!! It was absolutely fab!!! Not fat!!! Great prices too!!

Excellent Sunday roast alongng with helpful and friendly staff

Visited today for breakfast before our journey home. Track and trace is in place there. The menu is very good. We both had the standard breakfast which included tea or coffee. It was a lovely, tasty and well presented breakfast. The lady who served us was very friendly. Will visit again next time we visit Weston-super-Mare

Really lovely breakfast, I had a skinny which was beautiful and my fella had the standard with proper fried bread!! The breakfast included tea or coffee and was under £6 for each of us. Friendly staff, great atmosphere , highly recommend.

Hands down, this is the greatest breakfast I have every had whilst eating out. The establishment was gleaming and well maintained, service was out of theis world and the Fry up we had, God damn. I would travel back up here from West Wales just to eat at this place. Quality and Quantity......

Being local we visit fairly often for coffee and sometimes food and what we like most is that it's a proper café. Last visit for food was just before Christmas when we had the Christmas lunch. The food was excellent as always and reasonably priced. We've never had a bad meal here. Sharon and Angela are always welcoming and pleasant. If ever you're in Weston it's well worth a detour from the sea front at the end of Oxford Street opposite the grand façade of the Town Hall.

First ever takeaway roast dinner and I wasn't disappointed at all! Good selection of veg, roast sounds, lovely mash and tender pork. Really enjoyed it. Friendly Scottish welcome too and was warned it wouldn't be my last.....it won't be! 😋 Well worth it and saves a lot of effort in the kitchen 👍

Was in the area this week for a show at a nearby theatre and walked from the train station to my premier inn hotel when I came acroos this little spot. Hadn't eaten since leaving home so went in for a bite to eat. A warm welcome upon entry by the lady working there who I assumed was the ower by the way she came across as she seemed really on the ball, professional, knew all the all the locals and regular customers by name when taking food orders and speaking to them etc. Very pleasant to me asking where I was from and what show I was seing etc. Its nice to have staff that come across in such a nice way tbh.
