Previous visit for dinner some time ago was good, latest visit for drinks - good atmosphere and choices for drink and bar snacks

A hidden gem. Great atmosphere, wonderful food and an amazing choice of beers, all accompanied by brilliant service and live music. I can thoroughly recommend a visit.

Out standing pub, The food was just unreal. Staff super friendly and couldn’t help enough. Would recommend to anyone, especially If you’re after a good hearty meal after a cold day at the beach ! They also do doggy dinners ! We will be returning with our pup to sample the menu !

They could not do enough for us. So friendly and welcoming. Host was brilliant and the beers were good too. Food was good. Try the burgers for sure. Good lovely atmosphere and they will look after you. Went with the family and burgers were impressive. Can imagine it's a great pub to have a few drinks at too. Shame some of the beers weren't on that night. They also have a great barrel selection, but we didn't sample any that time. Maybe next time 😉

Excellent food and service staff friendly regards to chef for top quality. The only downside is that they were out of stout which I was looking forward to however the ales my wife and I had were extremely good.

Went in for a drink while visiting the area. The place is superb and I really wish it was in my home town. You have all done a super job on the place and if I am ever in the area again, I will certainly come and visit again.

Wow what a great pub . We popped in for drinks at 3pm and had nice chat with staff booked table for 5pm as Seabass was on the special board . The staff ,service and food was Forking Lovely .!!!. The seabass was cooked to perfection so compliments to the chef ☺ 😊 Finished it of with Drinks and a yummy Desert at a brillant price Thanks to Everyone

Really nice house burger. Ok it was more than I normally pay for burger, but the extra cost was worth it.

Real ales and good food. Often have bands on so check their social media. The choice is fantastic and the atmosphere fun and buzzy in the evenings (quieter during the day obviously). The roasts are the best around but definitely ring ahead and book. It's always busy and fun.

One of the best Sunday lunches we have eaten in some time. Great service food and portions, perfectly cooked pork and plenty of perfect accompaniments , roasts and veg. Lovely Yorkshire pudding and optional extras , large chipolatas with honey and cauliflower cheese. (Just the best ever) Staff and wine list were excellent…. Loved it ! We will be back .

Really wonderful find, we happened upon this place looking and weren't disappointed. Friendly welcome, delicious beers od draught or keg with an opportunity to try four small glasses for a taster. We had two selctions from the specials; the trio of Thai sea bream served on a bed of noodles and vegeatbles, and the venison burger with stilton. Both were delicious. Service was very friendly and the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Just for a drink, very friendly. But remember not to pronounce this name of the pub as fast as you can. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Lovely atmosphere, super interesting decor, stellar choice of ales, drinks etc and banging grub! Chicken burger is spicy, beware, but the food tasted great! Set back from the seafront so a bit more chilled and no children on our visit. We would come back here for sure if we come to Weston again.

On a busy Sea Shanty festival night the staff managed to feed 12 of us with hot, tasty meals with a smile and fantastic customer service. Each one on us enjoyed our food and it was really good value. Well done to everyone at the Fork and Ale.

Popped in at the start of the Shanty weekend for their singalong night. The staff are so friendly, the beer was amazing and the people in there were just really friendly. We didn't have food but were told that their Sunday lunches are to die for.

A very high quality Sunday lunch, with extremely well cooked meats, and variety of veg. Absolutely superb. Very friendly and accommodating staff and great atmosphere, thoroughly recommend a visit👍

Just non alcoholic lager on Thursday no food ordered, only Asahi 0.0 available. As is usual in these establishments, bottled beer is overpriced, although establishments claim they are competitively priced. A range of other beers and lagers was available. Nice atmosphere and pleasant and efficient staff.

Whilst the centre of Weston-super-Mare is basically a giant rehab centre, this is a lovely pub. Friendly staff, good food, good beer, good music, and a good atmosphere. Worth a visit to escape the zombie apocalypse that's taking place outside.

I was refused alcoholic drink as did not have id with me and been refused to show the electric one. I am 25+. Never getting back there again. *Added after receiving the reply - Evasive reply received not explaining why picture of my id would not work.

One of the best sunday lunches I have had in a pub. Large portion. Ordered the beef for £15 also ordered sides £4 each the creamed leeks were particularly good. The staff were very professional and friendly. Highly recommend and will return again soon.

Visited from South Wales today. Great kwirky bar with a good atmosphere and great food . Staff were very attentive. They had great recommendations on where we should go . Would definitely visit here again in the future.

Brilliant roast, atmosphere and staff in decent setting.

Came here a few times on my unplanned visit to Weston. Was served by Sandra and Jack and they were both fantastic. Great pub, great food, great music and great beer. What more could you ask for.

On a quick visit to Weston-Super-Mare and liked the look of the reviews. They weren't wrong!! From the guest Ales to the Turf n Turf Burger everything was superb. Excellent service, a good atmosphere and the Burger was amazing. Don't try to eat it with your hands though - it'll get messy!!

The food was amazing and reasonably priced, the staff were great & it was a good atmosphere.

A rare gem of Weston Super Mare. Food is always bang on, vegetarian options are also amazing. I had the veggie dog with chilli, and home made brownie with cherry ice cream. My husband has had most burgers on the menu and can confirm they are all spectacular. The service here really makes it a special experience, the lady with short hair especially- she always makes us feel at home.

Fantastic dirty fries, friendly service and a nice selection of ales.

Finally made it to the Fork N Ale for a roast. I've already been here for drinks and loved the vibe there. The roasts are really good value, roast beef was £15, which is what I had. Big portions off beef, they were nice and tender as well. Roast potatoes weren't amazing, but were ok. Veg was which was carrots, parsnips, broccoli, courgettes and green beans were cooked well. Yorkshire pudding was soft and fluffy, not to crispy. Special mention goes to the red wine gravy which was thick and plentiful, the cauliflower cheese which had the right ratio of cheese to cauliflower. Also the meat stuffing was super tasty.

Fantastic, the food and drinks are incredible the staff are brilliant. This might be the best spot in weston.

LOVE THIS PUB !!!! Ended up in WSM on a great Saturday, popped in here for a drink n chat after lunch. So wish this place was local, as I'd drink here a lot. Fantastic selection of beers for me, lovely Cognac for wifey, brilliant atmos. Lively but not loud, comfy seats n sofas, very cosy shabby chic. All the food leaving kitchen looked epic, and those eating around us were making the right noises, so we'll defo eat here next visit.

The place is good massive portions and good quality food little bit pricey but worth every penny The lady who served us was great on the ball all time we was there

went in with friends on saturday for some lunch - fantastic food and service as always - great to have such a good local pub with very high quality standards and reasonable prices.

We came in when there were only three tables served. Waited half an hour and was completely ignored. They didn't greet us or even ask to take our drinks. We've been completely ignored and made to feel invisible and unwelcome.

Great pub in the centre of Western super Mare. Excellent choice of beers and spirits . Very clean and tidy. Knowledgeable and efficient staff. Had the Turf 'N' Turf 8oz burger , very well cooked and presented. Told they do a good Sunday lunch , but booking well ahead is recommended. Call in you will not be disappointed.

Loved it here. We booked on a Sunday and must say we were very impressed with the Sunday lunch. We pretty much ordered all the side dishes and they were all delicious. Service was great, the ladies serving us were very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend you try it out, we will definitely be going back again!

We ate here Saturday and Sunday and were really impressed. The Sunday roast and bread and butter pudding are so delicious. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in Weston, the staff are so friendly, including the chef. A fantastic find, really nice place to chill with great music.

There are two things that you can be sure of in Weston on a Sunday in February, rain and excellent lunch at the Folk and Ale. From the moment you step through the door the welcome grabs you. The ever present Sandra and her crew of two excelled themselves today. Erin as ever never missed an opportunity to check on us while newcomer Ellie was excellent. Four Pork, bottle of Red...sorted. Excellent food superbly presented at a great price. Best Roast in town, dog friendly and some very interesting wine glasses. Check it out.

We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon with very good food. The service was excellent with my wife referring to it as, "restaurante service in a pub". The lady was so attentive to everyone without being overbearing. Some of the food is described as small plate. It arrives very pleasing on the eye and extremely pleasing on the palate. The new menu should be appealing to most. Certainly gave me a dilemma. I opted for a light bite as I had plans. Nothing light about my plate. Really enjoyed it and had to take the "doggy bag" option. Going back for the highly recommended Sunday lunch.

First time visiting and the food was amazing, generous portion sizes. I love the quirkiness of the pub inside. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we were running late for our table reservation and they were so friendly and helpful with food recommendations. Made us feel wanted and not just another numbered customer. Will definitely be coming back soon, top quality.

Nice Guinness! Lots of sport on, whilst I was there it was Cricket, American Football.

Amazing service . Really friendly and great food . I eat out a lot and this place had the best service , I've seen in years! This is one of those rare occasions, where service was beyond acceptional. I would recommend that 95% of other restaurants in Weston and Bristol , go here and see how to serve a customer . Cannot recommend this place enough. Groove Corner 😀

We haven't tried the food yet so can't rate it (although it has been recommended), but the service is great, and always love seeing a mix of local and more unusual drafts on tap. Plus it was the last stop on the Magnificent Seven Ale Trail, and we got to meet the owner of Weston's own Pinkers Craft Brewery! 🍻

We had the best night at the Fork n Ale, the food is out of this world delicious, and the service was absolutely top notch. We will 100% be back. Try the Fab-Olly-Lous burger if you go, it was the best burger I’ve had. Portions are huge and excellent value.

Popped in here for some food after two local recommendations and so glad we did. We were greeted by Sandra who was so welcoming and definitely went above and beyond finding us a table, fetching us some lovely ales and serving us with some delicious homemade food. My other half said he had the best ribs he had ever tried! Thank you Sandra for making us and our night so special.

Incredible Goats Cheese Burger and I have eaten a lot of Burgers! The burger came out medium and it was perfect. The service is excellent with a great atmosphere to boost. The menu is huge with daily specials. I have a feeling it will be my ‘go to’!

Great place to eat , great food

First time here and the food was amazing. Well priced too. Service was so friendly always happy to help with a smile on her face. Will definitely recommend and be going back again.

Fabulous welcome from the start. Very welcoming and friendly. Was an early close due to new years eve, which wasn't a problem for us as we were off to a meal. Stopped for a bottle of wine and meet up with friends. Bottle of merlot was £19.50 pretty standard for town. Nice cosy pub with a choice of seating. Family friendly with board games available and dog friendly too. When we next visit town we will pop in again for a bit longer and maybe try the food too.

Great staff, awesome food and well kept ale. Cycle stands outside. I had one of the best surf and turf available in the UK. Ribeye, pink in the middle perfect. Mac n cheese with spicy sausage and crayfish. Wild Wood ale, brewed locally
