There are two things that you can be sure of in Weston on a Sunday in February, rain and excellent lunch at the Folk and Ale. From the moment you step through the door the welcome grabs you. The ever present Sandra and her crew of two excelled themselves today. Erin as ever never missed an opportunity to check on us while newcomer Ellie was excellent. Four Pork, bottle of Red...sorted. Excellent food superbly presented at a great price. Best Roast in town, dog friendly and some very interesting wine glasses. Check it out.

Served by stretch an absolute gent! Service amazing! Food was incredible! Portion size were hugh couldn’t finish it all and was starving! Had to get a takeout box. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. If I’m ever in Weston super mare agin I will be making a b line to the fork n ale! Ten ten

We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon with very good food. The service was excellent with my wife referring to it as, "restaurante service in a pub". The lady was so attentive to everyone without being overbearing. Some of the food is described as small plate. It arrives very pleasing on the eye and extremely pleasing on the palate. The new menu should be appealing to most. Certainly gave me a dilemma. I opted for a light bite as I had plans. Nothing light about my plate. Really enjoyed it and had to take the "doggy bag" option. Going back for the highly recommended Sunday lunch.

First time visiting and the food was amazing, generous portion sizes. I love the quirkiness of the pub inside. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we were running late for our table reservation and they were so friendly and helpful with food recommendations. Made us feel wanted and not just another numbered customer. Will definitely be coming back soon, top quality.

Nice Guinness! Lots of sport on, whilst I was there it was Cricket, American Football.

We haven't tried the food yet so can't rate it (although it has been recommended), but the service is great, and always love seeing a mix of local and more unusual drafts on tap. Plus it was the last stop on the Magnificent Seven Ale Trail, and we got to meet the owner of Weston's own Pinkers Craft Brewery! 🍻

We had the best night at the Fork n Ale, the food is out of this world delicious, and the service was absolutely top notch. We will 100% be back. Try the Fab-Olly-Lous burger if you go, it was the best burger I’ve had. Portions are huge and excellent value.

Incredible Goats Cheese Burger and I have eaten a lot of Burgers! The burger came out medium and it was perfect. The service is excellent with a great atmosphere to boost. The menu is huge with daily specials. I have a feeling it will be my ‘go to’!

Popped in here for some food after two local recommendations and so glad we did. We were greeted by Sandra who was so welcoming and definitely went above and beyond finding us a table, fetching us some lovely ales and serving us with some delicious homemade food. My other half said he had the best ribs he had ever tried! Thank you Sandra for making us and our night so special.

First time here and the food was amazing. Well priced too. Service was so friendly always happy to help with a smile on her face. Will definitely recommend and be going back again.

Fabulous welcome from the start. Very welcoming and friendly. Was an early close due to new years eve, which wasn't a problem for us as we were off to a meal. Stopped for a bottle of wine and meet up with friends. Bottle of merlot was £19.50 pretty standard for town. Nice cosy pub with a choice of seating. Family friendly with board games available and dog friendly too. When we next visit town we will pop in again for a bit longer and maybe try the food too.

Great staff, awesome food and well kept ale. Cycle stands outside. I had one of the best surf and turf available in the UK. Ribeye, pink in the middle perfect. Mac n cheese with spicy sausage and crayfish. Wild Wood ale, brewed locally

We came to the Fork & Ale after reading other TA reviews. We were not disappointed! Food 100% Value 100% Service 100% Atmosphere 100% Waitress AKA Sandra 100% We're relocating here in February and have definitely found our new local and eatery. Can recommend their Surf & Turf with a twist. Literally exploded my taste buds. I've eaten low-end right up to high-end... It is truly a taste explosion. This place is under advertised and selfishly, I honestly hope it stays that way.. It is a true gem and well worth a visit. But don't tell everyone. The Cornish Orchard Dry Cider isn't too bad either 😉

Visited this wonderful Bar and Restaurant on Sunday, for lunch as a family of eight. The service and food, was superb! We were made to feel so welcome, with super friendly staff, and we can honestly say, this was the best Sunday Lunch we have ever had! Meat, creamy leeks and cauliflower cheese was awesome! Looking forward to visiting next month, as a couple and will definitely book in advance.. Thank you again for making a family lunch so special…

Lovely dog friendly pub with great staff and service. Went on a Wednesday late afternoon burgers and hotdogs buy one and get one half price. Food was great , homemade beef burgers. This establishment need to be commended on the ladies toilets which were tastefully decorated and complimentary toiletries and sanitary products. Definitely worth a visit

Very friendly pub with warm, inviting atmosphere. Great selection of beers poured by helpful bar staff. Bar staff are also friendly. I couldn't keep my eyes off the scattered vintage furniture and curiosities. That's when I decided to get the camera out. Lovely place. Will definitely visit again. The 3rd wednesday is pretty cool. Local shanty band, The Steepholmers have a singalong.

2nd time I've been for Sunday lunch and food was fabulous on both occasions. Plenty of veg plus we ordered the cauli cheese, creamed leeks & the roasted squash on the side which was super gready but sooo tasty. Highly recommend.

Dropped in for a beer and stayed for two plus then experienced the amazing pretzels! The lady serving was lovely and so welcoming that she will be a real asset to the business. The atmosphere and decor were yet another A+ mark for this place. Highly recommended!

We liked this pub a lot. Very clean. We split a burger that was very good. Classic wooden floors and comfy furniture. We hung out here for a while taking a rest for walking around the town for a couple of hours. The beer selection was very good. Sam enjoyed the G&T. The toilets were clean.

I can say, one of the best burgers I ever had! Absolutely breathing portion, taste,... I can't recommend enough, but come in a try, you will be not disappointed. Great atmosphere, nice music, very friendly server,... No I really can't recommend enough.

During our holiday in Weston we went there twice for dinner and beer. Super friendly atmosphere with a living room atmosphere. We were there with small children and were warmly welcomed. The food was good and plentiful! I would particularly like to highlight the Sunday Roast. That was roast to perfection with delicious sauce and crispy potatoes. There was also a bowl of well-cooked greens and the classic (fun) Yorkshire pudding. Good selection of draft (local) beers. Samples are often served so that you can choose your favorite drink. Unfortunately we also had a cask ale with more diacetyl (buttery taste) than I would have liked. The barrel should have been drunk faster?!?! We'll definitely come back again!

Really good food, compliments to the chef! Excellent service. But can see why it was so quiet when we went here. It’s not easily accessible, no disabled toilets not family friendly, no baby changing, no high chairs. Majority of seats are stools & high tables. Good for a night out though

Very friendly welcome and lovely looking pub. However, when we tried the 'four taster' glasses to try four of the ales, three of them were substandard, Two of them were actually 'off', and tasted vinegary. The bar staff changed them with no quibbles but it was disappointing to be served awful beer like this from somewhere which purports to be an ale house. Also, I noticed the landlord go over to the bar following my complaint, and although he turned one of the pumps around, he kept serving the two others. Not sure if I would be back after this showing really.

Nice place good range of drinks to choose from. But I don't know if their was a problem but drinks were not cold other than stout. On a hot day all you want is a cold drink and sadly most of the ales etc were luke warm. Also no changing rooms for kids. But still a nice place to come for a range of drinks.

Was unsure what beer to go for, so asked Alice, and she recommended the four quarters of different ales for a fiver. This impressed me and has a result, I stayed longer. Alice was eager to tell me about a particular German brewery being the oldest working brewery still brewing. Superb beers, good music, and a comfortable spacious environment. Really enjoyed this pub until we found out they allow people to vape inside. I'm sure that's a pro to some people but for people that don't want to sit in clouds or have lung issues this is not a pub for you. They make smokers go outside but allow vapists inside, doesn't make any sense to me.

Good selection of ales that changes fairly regularly. Comfortable place to drink and chat without being distracted by loud music or tv"s. Big servings of food, better than average but not as memorable as the drink offerings.

Dropped in for a drink to break up a long journey from London. I was impressed with the choice of low-alcohol options, and with the knowledgeable chap behind the bar. I enjoyed a couple of cans of Big Drop milk stout in perfect peace and quiet. I have family in the area, so will be sure to drop in again to this delightful pub. Highly recommended ✨

A wonderful spot in the centre of town, where you can chill with some excellent lounge music. They keep a great choice of real ales and beers. The Sunday roasts are magnificent! Highly recommended for a roastie...enjoy!

It’s June, it’s hot, the tourists are in town, and this place doesn’t open on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Which happened to coincide with the days I was in Weston.

Lovely airy atmosphere and dog friendly. Staff were friendly and food was great. Can't wait to try a Sunday lunch here next time!
