Friendly atmosphere from staff and visitors. Opportunity to sit in the bar and talk to people as well as opportunity to sit in a the lounge which is quieter and spacious. Locals chat about history I like to visit for a few drinks, sometimes bring my laptop to study. All the facilities are great, everything is kept organised and clean, everyone is welcome and it's a truly a great place.

Just came from the cafe without being served, stood waiting patiently, but person behind the counter couldn't even bother to acknowledge I was there, I appreciate she was busy but look up acknowledge your customer at the very least, then I would have waited.Very Poor Service!

Theatre Soar is a multi purpose community amenity in the centre of Merthyr Tydfil. We called in for a coffee and a chat. It has a real friendly atmosphere and the staff are attentive and professional. In the past I've been there for meetings, conferences and lectures. I Would recommend the Theatre Soar

Arrived at 1.45, there was a sign on the door to say it was open until 2.30. I was snarled at by an extremely rude person, saying "we're closed". Will not be going back.

Excellent breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning. Lovely friendly staff. Prices are so cheap I expected to pay at least a quarter more. Will definitely come again next time we are passing through. Thank you
