We were recommended this place on Easter Sunday and the breakfast did not disappoint. Staff were incredibly friendly and the meals were fantastic value. If we're ever this way again will definitely be back!

Just had food here with my daughter. I had a regular English breakfast it was absolutely stunning. No fat or grease on the plate when I was finished. The beans and tomatoes came in little ramekins which I love. The toast was lovely and fresh and not rubbery like some places. Honestly the best breakfast I've had in a long while. My daughter had sausage, chips and beans. Omg.. LUSH they were proper fresh chips (I had to pinch a few) they were gorgeous. Very happy with our food, and very happy with the prices. Staff are wonderful, shared their chocolates with my daughter, then I asked for a bowl of whipped cream and chocolate sauce for her for dessert and they were happy to do that for her. I had a banoffee Sunday, and LOVED IT! Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!

Been eating from here since I can remember with my grandmother , definitely comfort food the best tasting cafe around. My favourite is the beef dinners, has always got better and bettet each meal and leaves me with a full stomach. Hope to bring my own grandchildren one day when i’m older, an amazing cafe. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, the friendliest people you’ll meet in Tredegar! Also delivers sunday roasts which is convenient when you don’t fancy cooking x

We stumbled on this one by accident whilst we was in the area and really enjoyed it. We now drive here from Abertillery every so often just for a cooked breakfast and a coffee and then go back home feeling satisfied. It's always clean, staff are very welcoming and always polite, and the portion sizes are pretty decent too.

Lovely place, staff are brilliant and always friendly, food is great especially Sunday dinners. Delivery available too on Sundays. Ring early to avoid disappointment.

Been here a few times now and I’ve got to say its the best breakfast I’ve had! Everything is cooked perfectly, you get a good sized portion and the quality of the food you get is brilliant. The hash browns are incredible and i like the fact the mushrooms are cooked so that they still have a bit of crunch in them and aren’t just a squishy blob on the plate. The staff are really friendly and serve you quickly, nothings too much trouble. We always go around lunch time and they’re always busy but always manage to find us a table. Very cosy eatery, feels really homey and is definitely a nice place to go for food and hide from the rain or watch the world go by. Have recommended this place to friends and will continue to return and maybe try some other food one day!

Our first time to try Morgans after a recommendation we had a Sunday roast delivered we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal which was excellent value for money and also very well presented we will definitely order from them again and would highly recommend

Always good breakfast here just wish sausages were a bit better quality and brown sauce was a branded one. Don't mind paying a wee bit more.

Stayed in the area for business and this place was recommended by a colleague who had also been down. When asked what sandwich fillings they had, they simply said what would you like - basically they try and cater for the customers needs. I had a tuna mayo and sweetcorn sandwich on brown to takeaway and it came with salad and crisps also. No scrimping on the fillings - it was amazing. The staff were really polite and lovely also!!!

Very nice food and good service

We eat here regularly, so I think Morgan's deserves a good review. The eatery is centrally situated near a couple of local pubs, but in our opinion, neither of them can match this little gem as far as quality of food, service or value is concerned. The menu is home cooked and is very reasonably priced - at the time of writing all main meals are £5.50. I can personally recommend the corned beef pie!!!!!. A great feature is the chips which are "real" and not the frozen variety served in rival eateries. Service is always excellent and very prompt. We regularly eat here after shopping and have as yet never been served a poor meal. My wife recommends the gammon!!!!!!. Give yourself a treat, try Morgan's

My wife and I lunched here when passing through Tredegar and re-visiting childhood home; light lunch for two was an absolute bargain and the food was promptly served by a friendly waitress.

First visit here as new to the area but heard good things about this eatery. Cheerful welcome, excellent food and sensible money, better value than that spoons place just down the road. Will definitely be going here regularly. Parking can be awkward but not a problem if you can walk.

Warm welcome by the waitress. Early weekend morning so it was very quiet. Parking is hit and miss as the cafe is on the main Street (Castle Street) just up from the circle. We found a spot but it was the only parking on the whole street. The food order was taken and we didn't have long to wait for the order. An offer on brekkie made it a very cheap eat. The food was presented nicely and wasn't in the least bit greasy. Everything was cooked to perfection and the bacon was very lean. Tea and coffee was tasty too! Going back soon maybe for lunch.

I came here for breakfast while I was visiting family and I had a full breakfast, it was cooked beautifully and well presented and I will be visiting again when I visit my family the next time I’m back in town

myself and the hubby went here for sunday lunch,i couldn't fault anything,we pre booked,the food was stunning,there was loads on the plate.On the plus side,when i asked if my plate could be put in the microwave as i have my food boiling there wasn't problem..the only bad part about MORGANS EATERY is that i don't get to go there as often as i would love to.x

Great homecooked food with proper chips. The cooked dinners are very good and on Sundays can be delivered. The staff there are all friendly. Good selection of food as well as a lovely cooked breakfast. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Always a good place to go for a great value breakfast. Food's good, and there's plenty of it (with big-boy options too). Only minor thing I'd quite like is being able to upgrade the sausages - don't personally like the deep fried bangers they use, and would happily pay a bit more for a decent sausage.
