Lovely breakfast and very welcoming to us. Dog allowed in. Good coffee and plenty breakfast. Fresh bread and nice prompt service

We were here performing a show at The Met. Food was just brilliant. Best chips in town. And Hector is such a lovey host. Highly recommend. Don’t be fooled by the decor, the food shines through.

Currently running a takeaway service, this establishments hot rolls are amazing, our favourite has to be the pork with stuffing and apple sauce, filled to the brim with gorgeous tender hot pork, paired with lovely sweet apple sauce and savoury stuffing, great portion size and at a really good price. Manager is really friendly with all round good customer service. Never disappointed and a must to try, looking forward to trying the other combinations on the takeaway menu.

We have visited this little gem on numerous occasions. They serve the best full breakfasts along with real home made chips....they trump all their competitors any day.

Lovely little cosy cafe in the Main Street of Abertillery. Very lovely, friendly owner who provides good old customer service where nothing it too much trouble. Food is cooked fresh to order so isn’t kept under heat lamps like some places. The bread rolls are lovely, soft and fresh. The sausages and bacon are good quality and tasty. Very good value for money, I would definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.

My first visit to Hector's cosy Cafe and it won't be my last.... had a lovely bacon and egg roll with a cup of tea ..all for 3 pounds worth every penny.friendly staff would highly recommend.

Definitely the best food for miles around. Always 'real' ingredients a plenty. Just a shame about the dreadful signs outside! Please. These are off-putting. They give a really bad impression. Less is definitely more.

Exceptional service and fab food every time I visit. Hector serves quality food every time and is someone who also cares about the town.

A lovely traditional cooked English breakfast very big portion and very reasonable prices. good for a chat with the owner Hector and always goes out of his way to make sure everything is satisfactory.

Tried Hector's this morning for the first time and it definitely won't be the last, so friendly and welcoming, got my breakfast ready while I went for a Sunday paper and settled down with a big mug of tea and and amazing food. The medium was more than enough for me and the owner was chatty but then left me alone to read my paper and devour the breakfast, proper old style greasy spoon but also caters for the more health conscious with salads etc. Homely, friendly and just what I needed, cheers Hector xx

Fantastic old school fry up, this place serves mugs of tea that are man sized and the breakfast portions are huge. The food is all cooked fresh in front of you so make sure you relax and enjoy the cuppa while you wait. The bacon and sausages were really good, and we all left full happy and contented. I am told they open on a Sunday which is great if you have a hang over.

La comida siempre es buena y abundante. Es un equipo de marido y mujer y ambos te hacen sentir bienvenido y valorado como cliente. Están en el medio de la interior, pero, para ser justos, incluso antes de esto, siempre ha sido muy limpia. El menú es típico de un café. Los desayunos son excelentes y se puede comer en el restaurante o para llevar. Utilizan una plancha no una sartén así nada es grasienta. También tienen carnes asadas muy bonita y usualmente tienen una especial. Para los más preocupados por la salud ofrecen ensaladas. Es difícil elegir un favorito, todos son buenos. Vale la pena vuelve en si estás en la zona.

This cosy cafe is a little gem.It does great home cooked meals at extremely reasonable prices.Graham and Cath will make you feel quite at home they are chatty and friendly.

Esta pequeña cafetería en la calle de la iglesia tiene uno de los mejores desayunos que me he comido. Los precios son muy buenos para lo que te dan pero le garantizo que Héctor le recordará esta en cada visita. Dicho muy bonito y acogedor ambiente y producto similar i aquí, el desayuno es increíble.
