Lovely place on a very nice day Able to get food and drink and eat either inside or out with plenty of seats Staff kindly let me use their toilet as the council toilets were locked up

Staff could do with a smile instead of looking so angry. Run out of potatoes. The place was cold and atmosphere unpleasant.

Nice ambience and friendly staff. Bagels..... But little else on offer. That said my crushed avocado 🥑 and smoked salmon was spot on. It just needs a menu that offers more variety..... Quiches, Homemade Soups would be great additions. Located in The Old Town Hall. Fully Licensed and Coffee/Cake for afters.

Poor. Place smells of the dog sat in the corner. Walls, floor and ceiling looking shabby and seating drastically reduced. Additional outrage of being charged £3.50 for a cup of herbal tea! A full Pot of tea is £3, so £3.50 for a cup presented with ridiculously long spoon plonked in it…not for me and won’t be back

He estado en Prince Albert muchas veces, normalmente una pinta de Guinness es parte de mis rituales de compras del mercado Brixton de los sábados. Ish, el jefe regular de seguridad y su joven colega (lo siento, no sé su nombre - bien parecido con las rastas) estaban allí para intervenir cuando alguien hizo comentarios inapropiados sobre mi amigo, y asegurarse de que la brigada de jerseys de Navidad se comportara. Gracias por mantener a Brixton a salvo. Volveremos.

Had beautiful cream tea .. amazing sandwiches and cakes. Very friendly staff. We eventually got there 3rd time lucky after illness and then snow! Well worth the wait. Trying the meals next cant wait. Thank you to all.

Called in here to grab a bite to eat for 2 adults and 2 kids on Saturday afternoon, there weren't any tables available inside or we would have eaten in. Usually I'm not a fan of greggs pasties dropping bits of flaky pastry down your front so had pizza instead and it was tasty. Most greggs shops in Stockport aren't very appealing but this one was better.

Whilst the negative reviews about slow service and the really annoying serving window system in the rain and cold are all very true I have to say this place serves consistently the best breakfast sandwiches around. The sausages are traditional pork breakfast sausages not those white tasteless ones you get at a lot of sandwiches shops and cafes now. The bacon is always crispy and never overly salty and the mushrooms are superb and properly sautéed and not oily tasting or boiled. I must agree a large sandwich should have two eggs to be honest but this is and always will be myself and my work mates go to take away sandwich shop, it’s just a league above the rest.

Popped in for a quick coffee after being stuck in traffic. Lovely young lady, Lily, served me. I couldn't decide what to have so she recommended I try one of the Christmas drinks. Loved it! Will definitely be back when I'm down this way. So nice to be served by a genuinely friendly member of staff too.🎄

There is a hub of entertainment and hostelry in the hearts of Lees. We were greeted by children’s laughter in the beer garden and play area then the hum of joyful banter In the bar. It’s years since I saw a pub rammed on a Thursday night. There was darts competitions going on. Sport on the big screen, folk chowing down on some pub classic meals. (I must confess I succumbed to the delicious fish and chips myself.) We’d come for the first time because we’d heard there was free entertainment in the form of open mike night. What a delight to hear some of the regulars join a couple or three semi professionals singing lots of my favourite songs. I d come to listen to the new kids on the block Helen and Bev who held their own amongst accomplished musicians and artists. I hardly expected they’d have people clapping and swaying along. Towards the end of the night the punters were on their throwing some shapes. Last time i was out after 9 o’clock was to put the wheelie bins out. Arriving home close to midnight and still buzzing from the music was a fantastic feeling. Jo-jo the host puts on a great show. I ve got a feeling I’ll be back at the Grapes again soon.

This is a lovely shop with a small cafe with ice cream counter. My grandchild loves the ice cream but not a clean table or clean seat today. All cleared but not wiped. Seats and tables covered in crumbs. Very offputting.

Muy decepcionado. Íbamos al Teatro Lírico por 7. 30 pm y pensé que esto sería útil. ¡También pensé que reviviríamos algunos de nuestros recuerdos de nuestros días de estudiante mientras estudiamos en Queens! ! El menú sonaba bien. También nos sorprendió gratamente las ofertas de bebidas. Llegamos poco después de las 6 de la tarde y, aparte de una pareja sentada en el bar, éramos la única mesa ocupada, 7 de nosotros en total. Pedimos nuestras comidas a las 6. 20 pm, 4 hamburguesas, 2 papas fritas y una lasaña. Por 6. 50 pm nuestra comida todavía no había sido servida, así que llamé al barman. Se disculpó y explicó que estaban teniendo problemas en la cocina y que tendríamos que esperar más para nuestras comidas. Le expliqué nuestra necesidad de ser atendidos rápidamente. Aparte de las hamburguesas, las otras comidas llegaron unos minutos más tarde. ¡Las hamburguesas llegaron justo después de las 7! ! Estaban secos sin absolutamente ningún aderezo, a pesar de que me dijeron que habría queso y tocino, etc. Me quejé, pero no tuvimos tiempo para una alternativa, así que tuvimos que comer lo que nos sirvieron. ¡Las patatas fritas también estaban frías! ! Nos ofrecieron cobrarnos la mitad del precio por 2 de las hamburguesas. Nuevamente no tuvimos tiempo para discutir o negociar nada diferente. Ya estábamos llegando tarde al teatro. ¡Solo tuvimos que pagar y correr! ! Cuando revisamos la factura de camino al teatro, nos dimos cuenta de que nos habían cobrado de más por TODAS las bebidas. Ninguna de las ofertas se aplicaron: el 1 para todas las bebidas al pedir un plato principal y el 24/7, es decir, 2. 47 para el vino sobre el que había preguntado expresamente. En lugar de comprar dos hamburguesas a mitad de precio, habíamos pagado las probabilidades. Comida extremadamente decepcionante, servicio lento e inaceptable y estafado con "ofertas especiales" como se anuncia en todo el bar y en los menús. ¡Come aquí si te atreves! ! !

Very, very disappointed. First time giving them a try for breakfast. Service was very very slow and no apology given (it wasn't even busy!!) and when it arrived wasn't v hot, and poor quality. Asked for bacon and sausages to be "well done" but mine came out the same as my friends orders. Was expensive considering the quality of the food and service. Tables were slow to be cleared. Staff weren't at all engaging. Would not visit again.

TLDR: Be careful of what you buy from here as they will sell you a fake and tell you that they had mislabelled the product only after they are caught. I bought a Porcelain Set (Blue and White) that was falsely claimed as a real Coalport. I went into the store while visiting the town and saw a porcelain set which was tagged as a "Coalport" set. I asked the staff member at the front desk if this was actually real, which he responded with yes. I even asked how he knows it is real and he said that there is a staff member who verifies the authenticity of the porcelain sets. Since the store was already closing and I trusted his response, I went ahead and bought the set. When I went home, I went to inspect each of the pieces individually against information I found on the internet about what real Coalport sets are like and to my dismay, the pieces sold to me are counterfeits. The plates all had the same defects and the markings under the plates did not resemble any of the possible Coalport markings. I called to ask about the set that I bought and was told that the store had "accidentally" put the wrong tag on the set, which is why the set was falsely labelled as a Coalport. That person said they would give me a refund but I don't live in the town. It is unjust to expect me to spend another 40 pounds for a train ticket to go to the store to get a refund when I was sold a counterfeit, unknowingly.
