The Prince Albert in Lambeth

He estado en Prince Albert muchas veces, normalmente una pinta de Guinness es parte de mis rituales de compras del mercado Brixton de los sábados. Sin embargo, esta semana estoy allí el sábado por la noche. Fue muy divertido el lugar tenía que ofrecer una amplia gama de bebidas servidas por el personal del bar ocupado pero amable, música en vivo y nos topamos con algunos conocidos (karaoke en Albert es una necesidad). Sin embargo, lo que hizo nuestra noche fue un personal de seguridad muy profesional y vigilante, que hace controles de entrada y monitorea la situación dentro y fuera del pub. Algo tan importante especialmente durante la temporada festiva. Ish, el jefe regular de seguridad y su joven colega (lo siento, no sé su nombre - bien parecido con las rastas) estaban allí para intervenir cuando alguien hizo comentarios inapropiados sobre mi amigo, y asegurarse de que la brigada de jerseys de Navidad se comportara. Gracias por mantener a Brixton a salvo. Volveremos.

Es muy bonito pab y restaurante, estaba disfrutando mucho, mi fiesta de cumpleaños estaba celebrando, ahí, oh es excepcional

Cory es un embajador de su empresa, muy amable y profesional, es mi primera vez aquí y Cory nos hizo a mí y amigos muy bienvenidos. Volveré aquí y les diré a todos mis amigos que vengan también. Lugar muy limpio, lugar perfecto para estar en un domingo por la tarde. Magnífico

¡Mi compañero y yo vinimos para el evento del orgullo y fue una explosión! ¡Los porteros fueron increíblemente amables y amables! Ish particularmente era un tipo tan agradable que tuvo una charla muy agradable con él. El personal en sí era encantador! Maya y Cory eran realmente encantadores y el maquillaje y tatuaje de Mayas para el evento del orgullo fueron brillantes! En general una noche increíble y volvería de nuevo

Fabuloso pub justo al lado de la franja principal en Brixton. Cuando usted camina en una cálida bienvenida del gerente comienza su visita con una sonrisa. Las bebidas son refrescantes y a un precio muy razonable, definitivamente más barato que la mayoría de los lugares de la zona. El pub está limpio, bien decorado y el jardín oculto en la parte posterior es una pequeña trampa de sol impresionante. Sin duda volveré!

Me mudé a Brixton hace un par de años y el Príncipe se ha convertido en mi local. Vengo aquí con amigos, vengo aquí a escribir, vengo aquí un largo día de trabajo. We were visiting Brixton for the first time, since we moved away from the area. 'The Albert' was always one of our favourite pubs, and it still has the same friendly atmosphere. It was my partner's birthday, and we were meeting some of his family at The Prince Albert. We arrived at about noon on Friday 26 April and we're very warmly welcomed by the two lovely women who work there. Some of us wanted coffee, and one of the lovely women went to the local café to bring some to us, as The Albert doesn't serve coffee. How very kind of her. She came to our table, several times, during our stay, to ask if we were all OK. She made us all feel special. We stayed until 7pm and, by then, the pub was filling up with the Friday evening crowd. The atmosphere was just as it used to be - friendly, with a dash of excitement! If you want to find a modern, but traditional pub, in the centre of Brixton, 'The Albert' is the place to be.

Divine eclectic spot across from bookmongers, gr8 used bookstore. Joely is fun spry & makes a glorious spritz. Gr8 music, wall sockets & roomy.

Wonderful selection of beers, wines and spirits... They had my favourite cider too (Aspalls)! Staff were lovely and the whole place has an awesome vube. A fantastic pub.

I love this pub it is one of the only places left in Brixton that still has some of the vibe of old brixton, there's so many faceless chains here now, you can always rely on a friendly welcome and there's a broad cross-section of customers that represents what brixton is all about. Long may it continue!

The staff in this pub are amazing. They seriously do not stop working. Especially one member of staff, unfortunately I don’t know his name, but he has a number zero haircut. Every time I go in there he’s always very friendly, attentive and very hardworking. An asset to your company. Keep up the good work. I’ll definitely be back.

Booked a table for 6 people and arrived on time but didn’t get to sit down as they forgot to book it- no free drinks or tables etc were offered in any way

I went here on my own at 10pm on a Thurs night.... I was a little worried... No need!!! This place was rocking.... Good vibes... Good music n the customers were really friendly... I even met Sandra Martin from Gogglebox 😁 Do not hesitate to go here........ You will not regret it.... Don't know if the dj is resident here.... But he was the goat 🐐😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Most pubs in Brixton these days are either yuppified or turned expensive and food focused. This seems to be one of the last exceptions. Decent priced pints for the area, always interesting people in and safe staff. My go to regular.

We were celebrating a work event, it was a great night, loved the pub having a dance floor, friendly atmosphere. The bonus was after getting back to my hotel and realising I’d lost my phone I walked back to the pub to check if it was there and the security staff had kept it safe - thank you. A great night out with colleagues.

Had a blast with my pals this weekend. Amazing offers on doubles and cocktails, great music and fantastic service from Monika and the rest of the team. Will recommend and come back next time I visit London.

Great pub, my favourite in Brixton but why even when it's 9 degrees outside do they need to put the aircon on. Not the first time when I've been here. Most times 70%of the customers wearing jackets. When asked they did turn it off above us for half an hour then back on 😨

Best pub in Brixton! Friendly and efficient bar staff, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. Cannot miss it out!

Still one of the few places in London where you can enjoy the atmosphere and where you can talk with random people without feeling unwelcome. Cheap and good drinks and friendly staff! I would highly recommend this pub!!!

I went There for a couple of beers and i found an Amazing environment and good selection of draft beers. The bartenders are really kind and i felt Like home. I Will def come back !!

Brixton without Prince Albert? Impossibile!!! Good beer amazing people top bar tenders!!! I love this place and I recommend it to anyone goes to London for a trip or anybody who wanna enjoy an amusing pub.

Always welcoming, bottled Abbott a joy, lots going on. Good place to meet friends, handy for the tube and public transport.

The Prince Albert is a good place where to go for having fan and drink good beet. Is a really friendly environment... I had really good time!!

we went to have a look as Albert rated high on tripadvisor, We have complained to owners due to concerns about open use of substances especially in the garden, Staff did nothing. We will not be returning and giving poor reviews back home to anyone...

One of the few pubs in Brixton that hasn't become completely gentrified and full of yuppie Clapham/Fulham types. Witness the chino'd horrors of The Trinity or the Duke of Edinburgh. The Albert is a more mixed clientele that Brixton used to be all about -...

Fairly quiet in the pub on a Saturday night but the fairly small courtyard/ beer garden was rammed! Great selection of drinks and reasonably priced with a round of four for well under £20. Friendly staff which makes a real difference. Clean pub and loos...

Not so much a pub, more a youth club with alcohol. Mind numbing thumping music, uncomfortable seating and fizzy cold 'beer' with minders on the door. Oh, what joy... not!

Great place, the bar was empty but the party was happening out the back! Small beer 'garden' through the back of the bar which was really just a smoking area. Not knocking it as it was just what I was looking for. Great wee place...

Went to the the Pub for their Bowie fundraiser night - was amazing and reminded me of Brixton 15 years ago before the massive changes. Definitely worth going if music like this is on.

Nice atmosphere. Good beer garden. given the options for food in the surrounding area I wouldn't recommend eating here but for a pre or post dinner drink, or a long sunny afternoon boozing in the beer garden, this is one of Brixton's most interesting places...

Pleasant and welcoming even on a lively Friday night in summer. Good choice for a post-gig drink after a trip to the nearby Brixton Academy. Cool without being cold or unwelcoming. Nice outdoor garden/ smoking area at the back.
