I visited today for the first time. Just wanted to give a shout out to the employee that was single handedly running the place today. You kept your calm as much as possible and delivered all your orders as best you could. I really hope that you have a good good rest and thank you for my lovely iced coffee. I hope that you don't have to experience working alone again and holding the fort like you did today. It was not fair on you.

This is a lovely Starbucks next to the Travelodge in Dargate. The staff are friendly,polite and efficient. Thank you for a lovely hot chocolate on a cold day.

Very well trained baristas, they know how to make a good coffee ☕️. Been there 4 times and every time their coffee is perfect 👍

I use this Starbucks when I stay at the travelodge. It's very clean and the staff are friendly. The coffee is of the usual standard I expect from the brand, so I'm never disappointed.

This Starbucks shares the car park with the Travelodge and is very handy for a quick bite to eat and a coffee. Pleasant staff and lovely coffee.

Popped in for coffee and bacon rolls, only 2 staff on shift the Barista wasn’t experienced enough to cope with the amount of orders being placed. The bacon rolls were ready 10 minutes before the coffee and I had to ask for new rolls. The person taking orders could have helped the other one but chose not to. Very poor service they need at least 2 staff making drinks people do not want to wait so long for drinks that should be quick and easy to provide. Won’t be returning would rather divert and use Costa across the road. Saturday us obviously a busy day but Starbucks don’t want to provide staff to cater for you , they would rather keep customers waiting. VERY POOR

Best Starbucks in the area! Having lived in America, I definitely am spoilt with Starbucks coffee and service and while some local Starbucks have missed the mark, I wanted to rave about this particular branch. Great quality food and beverage and warm and welcoming service with a smile. We have even bypassed the other coffee shop on the other side of the thanet way on the way to Faversham from Whitstable doubling our travel time in favour of Starbucks. Thank you so much! Back soon!

the staff are pleasant enough and social distancing catered for. However I understand that vat on all hot drinks is reduced from 20p to 5p, there is a sign at the counter staying to pass this to the customer they have reduced all esspresso based drinks by 20p??? This however does. Not apply to hot chocolate???. starbucks company owned outlets (this is a franchise). Have reduced all hot drinks by 45p, still not exact, but better!. Has this outlet got an exemption to abide by HMRC notices????

I come to Starbuck often to sit and do my work. The Staff are so lovely and welcoming. Ive witnessed rude customers treat them so disgustingly when they've only been doing their job. Hats off to the staff! Could not fault one of them.

Right next door to Travelodge Whistable (which is great). Used twice as convenient but really wasn’t impressed. Was picking up some coffee and breakfast to take away. Very unhappy looking employee behind the counter when I asked for ham and cheese croissant said ‘if we’ve got any they’re down there’ and pointed to the cabinet. I grabbed two and asked her to warm them up please and also ordered two coffees. I paid my £14 (yep, not a typo) and waited for my brekkie. After a few minutes she looked at me and said ‘wait down the end for your stuff’ and pointed to the end of the counter. No please or thankyou’s or smile or anything. Okay, she may have been having a bad day, who knows. Anyway, day two and I returned for the same, minus the coffee as we decided to use the hotel room coffee to save being robbed again. Another girl (as well as the original from day one) served me this time. Same sullen demeanour and one word answers. She put our toasties in the microwave and moved out front to clear some tables. Girl from day one then plonked a plate with a toastie on the counter in front of me which I ignored as I thought it wasn’t for me. Girl two came around the counter with dirty trays and I asked her if the toastie on the plate was mine, only mine was takeaway? No answer, just grabbed the plate and slid the toastie into a paper bag (no hand washing involved from clearing dirty trays). No sorry or anything. I asked her if both toasties were in the bag to which she answered with a look up to heaven and sighed ‘there’s two in there’. Then she flounced off. Really hate getting people in trouble at their workplace but I was so unimpressed with their attitude I think they need some retraining in customer service.

Ok, but not great value and a quite limited choice of food. We visited on a very hot afternoon so may not have caught them at their best but will probably try another outlet next time.

I have been here a few times when staying in the nearby hotel that does not have a restaurant. Serves the standard Starbucks coffee and fare Friendly staff. Would be useful if it stayed open till 08:00 pm every day!

Online it says it opens at 6.30. Trip advisor says it opens at 6.00. It actually opens at 7! First and last time. Breakfast bun was ok but not worth £3.85 for the small,microwaveable, not very fresh bun with ketchup

I don’t usually review these sort of chain coffee bars, but this one has become a favourite stopping place on day trips to the Kent coast. An ideal location on the A299 and just off the road so doesn’t waste any journey time. Obviously the coffee etc is as you would normally expect from a Starbucks. But it’s lovely and spacious and airy with some very comfy seats and the staff are always really friendly and helpful and always make my slightly fussy version of an iced latte perfectly!

Well decorated quiet space.. just a lot more expensive than a high street store by a considerable amount. Staff are friendly but quiet slow. Review sounds negative, it isn't just honest

does the job, expensive coffee but so is any other coffee shop. staff friendly enough and opened early which was great.

I think we drew the short straw with the staff member who served us here, had a few issues with the order but wouldn't think that was usual. It's in a convenient location with lots of seats and good facilities.

as per any Starbucks you cant fault the coffee. well done guys keep the good work up. we had the Caramel latte which I must say seemed to taste better the more you drank, well worth a visit on the way back to London from the coast/

This is a very welcome transformation of a former happy eater restaurant. It's air conditioned and bright and airy. Drinks and prices are as you would expect service is first class. We now use this regularly

I had visited Starbucks in Surrey Quays London 2 weeks ago and found a delicious fruit in plastic clear container. It had grapes, kiwi fruit and other green fruits. When I went to counter to pay, a nice gentleman asked me would i like a smoothie made out of the fruit. I said YES. I was thrilled. I had just started to watch what I eat and I knew this container of fruit would do the trick for me for all my lunches during the next month. However I live in Dargate and sure enough I walked into the new Starbucks Cafe in my area. Searched for the fruit containers, but none on display. I approached the gentleman serving behind the counter and asked why there was no fruit on display. I was told - "I am allergic to fruit and have a bad reaction so we cannot sell - even if my hands touch a drop on the preparing area I have a reaction". I asked who he was - he said I am the supervisor - both the gents serving had no name tags on T.Shirts. Just wondering is that the correct code of practice at Starbucks. No one was rude - I was just wondering if that is the case. I will be going elsewhere and see if I can get natural organic fresh fruit. I was so disappointed. 2 months previously I went into the same place and found only one sandwich on display. I asked if any more food was available - reply - only the sandwich left on display. It looked liked the sandwich I had seen the previous day. Maybe it was near closing time -a sunday afternoon around 3pm. The Cafe is lovely, the workers are always pleasing when we go for a snack/coffee/cold drink. I am not up on the health issues about serving in eating places. Will get in touch with Head Office.

just went in for a coffee usually drink a rivals coffee asked for it super hot got it supper hot the two employees serving were very nice and friendly having been told the wifi was not that good i tried it and it was fine.

Good for breakfast supplies when staying at Travelodge. Very quiet during visit but I imagine it will be more hectic during holiday season.

Popped in on my way to Canterbury from London for a drink and was delighted at the helpfulness of the staff. Friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend this establishment.

Clean bright and new................ friendly staff ,but alas pretty average cup of coffee. for a company that tells you how good their coffee is.............this one was pretty average.
