Vino aquí para tomar café y pastel mientras paseaba por Stockbridge con nuestro hijo de 4 años. Muy ocupado, y acogedor entorno. Personal atento. Gran selección de productos horneados, y buen menú para almuerzos ligeros, etc. Lo recomendaría!

Slow service. Coffee was ok and nice to see they offered oat milk (albeit at an additional cost). Victoria sponge was over sweet and a bit dry. Tables weren’t being cleaned or cleared quickly either.

So 1st and last time visitor ! Was recommended to me so made a trip for lunch. Ordered soup which both came luke warm so requested that they be warmed up to eating temperature. Take 2 on return one was slightly warmer the other still luke warm. As am not one for take 3 spoke with staff to ask if I could pay as decided to go elsewhere, no charge (not eaten) but the soup "apparently" take a while to heat !! Offered to heat "again" but thought after 2 attempts, not. It should be good to go from the off otherwise why serve cool soup. A less than satisfactory experience and to be honest not a great ambiance, my wife thought seating was uncomfortable. Sorry but that's how we found the place 😐

Excellent full English breakfast. Staff friendly. Ideal to bring a little one as plenty of toys. Not so keen on the veg sausage but it is personal choice. All in all worth a visit.

A very local pub with no pretensions. They appreciated a reservation as they had a big party coming in and the kitchen is small. Food was good, but took a while to arrive. I had chicken nuggets. There were seven huge nuggets plus fries. Such a deal.

1st time here today 20/1/25 Absolutely great staff made so welcome thank you We ordered 2 large breakfast all i can say was absolutely delicious highly recommended nice hot and tasty food asked for eggs runny came as I asked Ordered 2 Lattee coffees came nice and hot would go again thank you ladies for your help disabled couple asked for drinks to be brought over no problem at all We will definitely be back Thank You Yvonne and Pete XX

Lovely evening, nice atmosphere,great food and service as always. We visit Coopers often and have not had bad service since the new landlord has taken over. The pub is thriving and its great to see Thank you

Change of owners change of produce. Used to buy our daily cob rolls here for decades. Another institution gone. Bakery over the road far better

This lovely pub is a diamond in the rough. The staff were attentive, friendly and gave great service overall and throughout. The place had a great atmosphere with a mixture in the afternoon of all ages and groups. The food was fantastic, especially the homemade Wensleydale quiche which was delicious. Followed by the very generous portion size of Sticky Toffee Pudding. Would definitely recommended and would love to return if I’m in the area again!

Popped in for a toastie had bacon Brie and cranberry filling, was very nice, the staff was lovely too, definitely be back

Pasé por la tranquila tienda (a la hora del almuerzo entre semana) y me apeteció un café. El personal estaba muy contento y nos preparó dos cafés encantadores, nos sentamos al sol y quedé muy contento con él.

¡No le daría a este lugar ni una clasificación de 1 estrella! Llegó antes de Navidad fue impactante la comida fue más de una hora tarde, luego dijeron que se habían quedado sin ciertas verduras y carnes, eran las 4 pm! Le di otra oportunidad hoy comida reservada para 5. 30 para un asado dominical, una y otra hora más tarde antes de que llegara la comida y otra vez era la misma comida de mierda que teníamos antes de Navidad otra vez no la verdura y la carne correctas oh y otra vez aparentemente habían estado ocupados así que se acabaron. y usando alimentos que habían estado allí desde el período de Navidad! ¡Qué broma se ha convertido este lugar! Le pregunté a uno de los empleados dónde estaba el brócoli, su respuesta fue "¡No sé, no lo logro! El personal y el pesebre son groseros. El León de Oro solía ser un lugar encantador para comer y relajarse. También había otros clientes alrededor en otras mesas que estaban descontentos con la comida y el servicio! ¡Este lugar necesita nuevo personal y ciertamente nueva administración! ¡Un lugar horrible! ¡Evita!

My son and I were travelling through Wales last week and stopped at the Green Dragon for some food. We were met with a wonderfully warm Welsh welcome. The food was excellent and great value. The place has a great atmosphere with a quirky antiquities shop attached, where you could browse and pick up an item of yesteryear. There is a lovely fireplace, sadly not lit when we visited, but I could imagine whiling away a few hours in front of the fire in winter. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
