AMAZING!!! Love Martello’s started taking the rest of my family there for breakfast and they love it!!! Great service and food for the price. All the staff are so accommodating to any request i ask!! Amazing to see young workers doing great work!!

We go to Martellos regularly and although sometimes very busy we have always found the staff to be friendly and courteous. If during their busy periods you have to wait for a table they will come and clean it straight away. The scones are amazing. Plenty of fruit and they dont restrict you to two small butters - you can take more if you need.

Me and my Mum and now and again my Sister when over from Italy visit here regularly, Why I hear you ask, well can not fault the food it's top quality, cooked when ordered. The staff are fantastic, so polite and friendly. I personally recommend here, the breakfast is awesome, by the way my Mum is 100 yrs old in August 2024

Me and my wife went just for a dessert and they were very tasty. Had the waffles and rhubarb crumble. The other things on the menu looked nice too and I am tempted to try them another time. Also, this place is set in a very nice area and seems to be very popular. I didn't book a table but I managed to get a table outside which was nice as the sun was out and liked the fresh air and nice scenery

This was the first time I had revisited the Cafe since March 2019, normally a friend arranges us to go there for Breakfast. On this day there was 5 of us and we were there at around 09.45 so not that busy. Quite surprisingly I found the breakfast much improved on what was the norm a time ago. Staff were on the ball and kitted out for CV-19. Only problem we had as there were 5 of us the table layout really did not accommodate us that well, and I had to sit opposite the table corner which made it difficult to to eat comfortably. Overall good.

Been here a number of times though never assessed it and I'm surprised it's not on tripadvisor as it's a very popular place. It has a sister location on the beach front at Lowestoft called The Thatch. COVID - currently don't except cash, CARD ONLY. A notice tells you to only occupy a clean table not to move used crockery/trays or return them. Single toilet - very clean with sanitiser (other outside toilets in the gardens). Cueing with well marked spaces. Take your drinks and your food is served at the table. The food is freshly made and always excellent and in good portions. For those with a sweet tooth there's plenty of home-made cakes. Can't recommend the place and location enough.
