Pasé por la tranquila tienda (a la hora del almuerzo entre semana) y me apeteció un café. El personal estaba muy contento y nos preparó dos cafés encantadores, nos sentamos al sol y quedé muy contento con él.

Las ensaladas allí son muy sabrosas y saludables (la mayoría están vestidas solo con aceite de oliva y sal y pimienta). También creo que los platos principales (pollo, salmón, lasaña, etc.) son sabrosos y los tamaños de las porciones (dependiendo de a quién sirva) también son buenos. SIN EMBARGO. . . Las mujeres que trabajan allí son antipáticas, casi groseras. . . . Trabajo en la oficina de al lado, voy allí todo el tiempo y me apuran cuando me piden una nueva tarjeta de fidelidad. "No hay" ninguna oferta de una alternativa de ningún tipo. ¡No valoran a sus clientes en absoluto y el sistema de pedidos de iPad también parece una tontería!

Trabajo cerca de To a Tea y, francamente, no hay otro lugar como este en la ciudad. El tamaño de las porciones es muy generoso, son fieles a su palabra cuando dicen fresco y hecho en casa, sabe a la cocina casera de tu madre, tiene una excelente relación calidad-precio y espero que abran más ya que este lugar es realmente una ventaja para el ciudad y sus trabajadores!

En realidad, no soy un fanático de la comida de 'estilo cantimplora' donde ha estado sentada y se calienta en el microondas, pero la comida siempre se ve tan apetitosa. Lamentablemente, el sabor es deficiente. Todos los pasteles parecen atractivos pero son impredecibles, donde pueden ser densos y secos. Es un poco extraño para mí, ¡lástima!

The place from outside look like is doing only cakes or coffes, but they have amazing salads. Good price and a lot of cakes you can choose.

I was little woried at the beginning regarding the iPads, but the waitress was amazing helpfully, and we manage to order delicious tea and cake. A little crowded but that's what happened when you are the best in tea.

They say they'r e brilliant at tea. Nope. They do serve it with something of a flourish mind you. They present you with the empty teapot and place a clear plastic canister with hot water and the tea leaves in it at your table. Press a hidden button and presto, you have a pot of tea. It reminded me of the Rowan Atkinson character in Love Actually, the whole palaver with packaging the surreptitious gift. Except it wasn't funny. Cold teapot, cold mug, non-boiling water equals lukewarm weak tea at best. For three quid fifty. And the bacon sandwich -cold bacon that is -four quid fifty. Eight pounds for lukewarm tea and a cold bacon sandwich. But with a flourish. Pure Mr. Bean. Not a clue basically. This part of the City could do with a decent greasy spoon which serves proper tea, warm bacon sarnies, no conceptual B.S. All for a fiver. London could do with more of 'em in fact, and less bull..

I had a breakfast with my partner in this diner the staff was very friendly, exelent and quick service and the food was good and fresh. i would definitely go there again.

My husband and I popped in here for coffee and despite it being completely dead in there, we couldn’t just order from the counter as you would in any other place - instead we were told to make our order on the iPad on our table. When we’d placed our order, it said it was “awaiting approval”... there were 2 members of staff behind the counter at the time - it was like the staff didn’t even want to engage with us at all. To top it off, you couldn’t even pay the bill on the iPad (which actually would’ve been useful) you had to press a button to “request” the bill from a member of staff. The coffee wasn’t great either and was very expensive for what it was... maybe they’re trying to make up the money they spent on the iPads. Just a really unnecessary use of technology and completely over engineered, impersonal experience.

Decent lunch options, particularly the salads, although many lacked some flavour. Out of the three cakes we tried, two were also dry (almost stale). The worst part is the unnecessarily rushed service though which is borderline rude.

I've worked around this area before but this was still a new discovery. It's better than average however a few things prevented me from giving a very good rating. Plus points for me include, light, bright, airy, nice design, good salads and option to take away (not quite fast food) or sit in. Good cakes, good behind the counter service and the range of salads is good too. For me there could have been better seasoning in the salads as I don't think there was salt or pepper on the table to season myself. I will look next time. Portions are a bit large for me but good choice. Nice cakes and tea and coffee. Areas to improve would be table service. It was slow and a little confused. They wouldn't take table service for the salads/ meals and there was no menu on the table yet they did table service for the teas/desserts and the bill. The bill was very slow in coming too which was a shame when you on a lunch hour. I'll definitely be back. it's a good place to go to sit down.

I visited here with a friend. We did not have a booking, but this wasn’t as issue on the day. We enjoyed some exotic choices- such as the red velvet latte. It smelt and tasted delicious. The cloudy apple juice was also great. This place allows you to order yourself using iPads- which was fun. We didn’t have a meal- but the salad looked amazing and serves were generous. Obviously a busy and popular spot.
