Sitio con mucho encanto. Toda la comida que pedimos riquísima. El cordon de bleu estaba espectacular. Pero tienen un servicio de mesas un poco lento y sin organización. Nos dio mucha pena ese aspecto porque la calidad de los platos era bastante buena. Precio moderado.

Necesitaba una parada en boxes mientras hacía turismo en Londres. Este lugar tenía deliciosos pasteles en oferta y amplios kits de asientos en Trafalgar Square. Fuimos recibidos por un joven que vio a una familia mirando así que en lugar de tratar con nosotros primero trató de conseguir que entraran. No fue un buen comienzo. Había 2 ofertas anunciadas, café y pastelería o matcha y pastelería. Traté de pedir estos, pero me dijeron que era después de las 12 pm, así que ya no se aplica. Mientras esperábamos, un miembro más grande y viejo del personal, probablemente mi en la gerencia, maldecía en voz alta a un miembro joven del personal, frente a los clientes. Eso fue todo para nosotros, nos levantamos y nos fuimos.

Me and a friend called in for breakfast this morning. 14/5/2025 First complaint was the time we waited for our food it was over 45 minutes wait considering the pub wasn’t that busy we didn’t understand the wait? Second complaint the breakfast wasn’t up to much no mushrooms on our breakfast witch is pretty standard standard on a full English? we were served up dried baked beans overdone eggs and two rounds of toast that I nearly broke my teeth on the bread was like rock!! The royal sovereign is a beautiful friendly pub but the standard of food is letting it down 😩 pull your socks up the royal sovereign.

Breakfast was ok Coffee is terrible.

This was our first visit and we were slightly nervous having read previous reviews. We both had beer battered fish and chips which were excellent. Crispy batter, generous portions and all freshly cooked and hot. Service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend for good pub food.

Staff was really friendly and nice. Went up to scotland during the heatwave and the rooms were really hot. The staff was really nice and gave us a fan in the room to cool ourselves down. They had a 15 year old resident cat named Magnus (not sure if I got his name right because he didn’t give me his name card 🤣) who stole my food when i wasn’t looking and requested for pets! The staff noticed and actually carried him back to the lobby but clever little Magnus actually took a long walk and came back to us to ask for pets and tried to steal my food again. The hotel was really clean. Will definitely be back to stay at this hotel when visiting Scotland.

Always liked this pub. Good food and good beer. Huge garden out back and a little area out front. Better now cars can't drive through o the road area.

Good bar, very friendly, bar man was friendly and great advice. Plenty of outdoor space for the nice weather. Dog friendly.

Great venue, staff were great and the sound guy Lewis was a legend.
