The Three Bridges Durham in County Durham

Can’t fault the bar, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The bouncers/door staff however.. so incredibly rude. The black bouncer in particular needs some lessons in manners!

Popped in today (10th Feb) with my wife for a few drinks, got served by Alisha who was very patient and even helped us get a free drink on this app called mixr had an amazing time and will be going back again soon

Went in for a couple pints, with our friend who is in a wheel chair. it was very nice until we asked about booking the dart boards (to a manager) and the staff member in question started making offensive gestures referring to our disabled friend. we decided to leave and will not be back.

Went for midweek lunch, large portions of traditional pub fayre. Very reasonably priced and excellently prepared. In the city centre with some outdoor areas too. Has recently been well refurbished and staff are very friendly and welcoming too.

Big refurb but it's still a soul-less barn! I do like it though! Staff are usually cheerful and friendly. They do have cask beers which for me is a big plus, but they need someone who cares about this type of beer to look after them as they can be cloudy! Never tried the food so can't comment.

Great pub which we've returned to a few times. Recently refurbished to a great standard. Warm and friendly place and staff. Great pint of Guinness! Had a chicken Wrap and onion rings which were great value.

Popped in for a few drinks and ended up staying longer due to the excellent service as usual. Fantastic live music, followed by a live dj We decided to order a few small plates of food to share, which again was really tasty. Always a good night in Durham if you're ever visiting .

We had our work staff night out in durham and went to the three bridges. It's lovely and friendly with a great atmosphere. The staff are lovely and worked hard as it was extra busy.

Great pub, great quizzes, great scran, great booze and great service from Kate and Yasmin. Top blokes!

Came in for food with my family today fantastic service behind the bar from Georgia and Nadene and Alisha , the waitress was amazing and fantastic with my little girl Definitely will be coming back.

Popped in yesterday (Thursday) great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. I was served by Alisha (young lass, brown hair). She was very helpful. Always checking if we needed anything. Extra drinks etc. She seemed a very good at multi-tasking when watching her at work. We will definitely be back.

I went to this pub a couple of weeks ago for a few drinks and some food. The website shows food as being available until 9pm. However, we were ordering at 7.50pm when a member of staff came around collecting all the menus and told us food stopped at 8pm. She eventually arranged for us to get some food but this tainted our evening. On the plus side there was a really good singer on that night - nice to see live music.

Visited the three bridges Friday evening for food and drinks and was served by two lovely barmaid Karen and Georgia, annd then the waiter Kye was so polite and professional.Amazing service even better food! Amazing experience will return

Had to ask staff for a clean cloth to whip the table myself that I sat at, staff not attentive, stood talking to each other, 'yawning' as if tired or not interested. Scott you need to 'pull' your team together. It's a nice place, pricey! but ok for ripping students off as is most places in Durham City

Great atmosphere. Great quality proper pub food. Great friendly staff. Live sport/racing on all the time. Loving the new nightly entertainment schedule of live singers and quizzes. Also serves guest drinks and cask ales. Would definitely recommend this pub. Would recommend taking advantage of the mixr app to turn points into money to spend in the pub.

Student pub chain that you have in the whole of England (at least in the North). Standard drinks but that said not a bad place to watch some football (DJ music at background is the downside). Staff are super nice but I suppose it’s a Durham thing!

I ordered a cheese & bean toastie oh my word it was horrible think they forgot to toast it you couldn't lift it up as all the filling would fall out well i say filling a few beans with a bit of cheese to be fair it was a load of slop to top it all it was all cold and tasted discussing. Would I vist again nope wasted my money.

Called in after hospital treatment to cheer myself up with a full English Breakfast and was not disappointed. Good sized portion with 2 sausage 2 bacon 2 eggs mushrooms tomatoes hash browns beans n toast 👌🏻 All beautifully cooked and hot 🔥 Washed down with a cup of fresh coffee it absolutely hit the spot and lifted me up. Staff so friendly and so helpful as I had a fresh plaster cast on hand..

I may be sounding a bit old! But the music was too loud and we couldn't have a conversation. But as for when it isn't and the floor is not sticky from an England win, then it's a good place to go.

Popped in for some lunch when my train was cancelled. Just a few minutes after ordering some food then train service was reinstated and I was faced with a brisk jog back upto the station. After informing the staff that I no longer needed the food but to keep the money, they very kindly fast tracked my food order and put it in a take away box for me. I didn't ask or expect this and it was just really good of them. Food was good too!

Great food a service here from Jeanette on Friday night, we had the sharing platters and a gumball cocktail. We will definitely back!

We visited to watch football, however children can’t be in the pub after 5pm. Not a problem at all and we totally respect that but just a heads up for anyone taking children. Really good, informative and helpful staff, very busy and sport on TV is available. We’ll go again if it’s just the 2 of us!

Nice pub plenty of tvs with sports/racing on. Felt a bit of a regulars pub but welcome from bar staff was warm and Guinness was very nice.

We arrived this morning on a whim before heading to Blackpool for my hen do, food was lovely, very quick service with meals and drinks, staff were absolutely fantastic with us too! Assisted us with further pubs to attend in Blackpool and all round friendly atmosphere, honestly couldn't thank them any more!

Popped in for the first time this afternoon for a drink and bite to eat whilst shopping and will definitely be back. Dan who severed me was very friendly and helpful

Booked a table for 2 people for the 50% offer on Wednesday. Certainly didn't disappoint , a couple of lattes and 2 full English breakfasts . Filled us both up for the rest of the day . Staff where lovely and checked to make sure everything was fine, even took advantage of there new mixr app to earn points, to exchange for free food and drinks at a later date .

I have been a few times now and the food was always delicious but twice in 2 weeks I have been for a full English breakfast and it was awful. The plate was full of oil, this time it had what looked like burnt plastic and when I told the staff he laughed and said it was from the egg this was about 5cm long, quite thick and burgundy in colour. The egg its self was under cooked still "snotty" and didn't smell very nice. Needless to say I will no longer be eating here again.

Didn't eat here, but seems a nice pub. Really good music. Sound was fantastic.

Ordered lasagna, looked like soup, garlic bread was soggy, had to wait a while to be served
