The best restaurants serving Italian food in East of England

We visited this restaurant in midweek, an early evening meal as we had heard good things about- my long suffering partner opted for a wrap and she was pleased with the fresh ingredients and the portion size was perfect- the fries were crispy and fluffy (I had my own portion as I value my safety), my lamb kebab was beautifully spiced and aromatic with the Bulgar rice a perfect accompaniment. I also tried the Turkish wine that had lovely cherry notes and just to be sure I had another. The lovely owners provided an additional, complementary starter and a taster of a dessert which was a nice touch. The menu also provides pizzas and burgers and therefore there should be something for everyone - they also offer takeaways. Highly recommended for a relaxing and nourishing meal

Had the the pleasure of eating here on the 6h Dec we were in Clacton for our anniversary was indecisive of where to eat and took a leap of faith.we were so glad we ate here ,food was amazing, service was fantastic atmosphere was really pleasant and pricing fair. not sure if there is more under a chain if not there should be.thankyou Hayley for the great service at the table and also the other lady who gave us a voucher the following day as it was a no brainer to go back there again! thank you refreshing level of service and qaulity

The food was delicious, “staff” friendly and kind.

Visited alone without my 4-legged critic! I loved the service and food. The calamari was that good. I ordered 2 plates! The restaurant was slightly cold, but the food and service soon warmed things up. I had my favourite Italian Lasagne with a hearty mince, unlike the restaurant at the top of 'The Walk', which was all cheese and pasta and a sprinkle of mince for much more..... When I am next alone on an evening, I will use my January discount and order the calamari again!

The best restraunt in the world

Nice little cafe, just dropped in on the off chance. Attentive and well trained staff, even the youngest staff. ( Not meaning to sound patronising!) Decent coffee and sandwich 🥪, and the cakes were pretty good. Good atmosphere, nice and warm on a cold day! Worth a visit if you haven't been there before.

Excellent food, service and Grappa. Family atmosphere, smilley staff. The Lobster and Steak were cooked to perfection. Will return for sure.

Chips...cold and floppy, like undercooked. Garlic bread....cold and hard and could not taste the garlic, was like eating cardboard. Chicken tasted overcooked. Lamb was nice but some of it was full of gristle. Not the best pizza we've tasted.

Best coffee shop in town hands down. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere every time.
