The best restaurants serving Italian food in East of England

Excellent service, atmosphere and good price quality.

We visited this restaurant in midweek, an early evening meal as we had heard good things about- my long suffering partner opted for a wrap and she was pleased with the fresh ingredients and the portion size was perfect- the fries were crispy and fluffy (I had my own portion as I value my safety), my lamb kebab was beautifully spiced and aromatic with the Bulgar rice a perfect accompaniment. I also tried the Turkish wine that had lovely cherry notes and just to be sure I had another. The lovely owners provided an additional, complementary starter and a taster of a dessert which was a nice touch. The menu also provides pizzas and burgers and therefore there should be something for everyone - they also offer takeaways. Highly recommended for a relaxing and nourishing meal

Great little business local and friendly

Was my husbands birthday, we went as a group. It was a party minute booking, but they were incredibly flexible. The food was amazing! My husband had his favourite - swordfish, he says it was cooked perfectly, as often previously, he would find it dry. All our party were happy with their meals. This was enhanced by our waitress- Helen, she was amazing! Fun, bubbly, helpful, engaging. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Great Thorpe Bay Italian restaurant. Ticks all the boxes. Keep going back. Its just GREAT and keeps getting better. Meatball pasta yesterday was really TOP. No where better in Southend

A real gem of a restaurant! Very authentic Italian restaurant - the decor is beautiful, the food was very fresh and absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. Very, very impressed - we will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

Excellent meal, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We will go back soon and try other dishes. The prawn risotto was perfect.

Maybe you should smoke further away from the door ,the place smelt like a dirty ashtray pub & hands were not washed ..

I always come here for the gorgonzola pizza. We are regulars. I went for added pesto and that made it even better! Fresh tasting, a bit of each topping on every slice. Quick collection service. What more could you need?

Very busy, so slight delay and they were apologetic, but great pizza.

Stopped by for an ice cream, opted for a scoop of the Pistachio (I've heard great things!). It was absolutely delicious, creamy and not too sweet. The queue moved quickly and the staff were pleasant. I took mine to sit in the little churchyard around the corner - take a left and you'll see it on the right.

Had many of pizza here and always been very good but felt take away pizza was not of same was quality as previously had, dough was thin and hard around edges very disappointing

Love this restaurant go back again and again as it never disappoints Food is delicious staff are efficient and friendly and atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable
