Two Kitchens in Epping Forest

Friday night arrived at 9. Only one other couple there so should have guessed. Instead of rushing us through ordering, eating and paying they should have said they wanted us out of the door before 10. I had to pay as food was delivered to table and whilst eating a waitress asked if we wanted our food boxed up to take home!!!!! It would have been more acceptable if they weren’t so rude about it all… we were better off getting a take away rather that spending £80 to get rushed through in 45 mins

Honestly, I expected better. The sushi was decent, but my takeaway pepperoni pizza was disappointing. The atmosphere felt cold, and the bland furnishings gave the place no character or personality. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful, though one of them went out to smoke at the front of the restaurant, which didn’t give a great impression.

Love this restaurant go back again and again as it never disappoints Food is delicious staff are efficient and friendly and atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable

We ordered on Sunday. I was hoping for a delicious lasagne but what I got was a sloppy, bland, salty mess. I've had better from the supermarket. Also, don't bother with the garlic bread, I don't know how but they somehow forgot the garlic so it was just thin, chewy bread. To say I was disappointed is a massive understatement. £19 down the drain. Never again! Avoid like the plague

Terrible customer service! The good was rock hard! The chips were like cardboard! The cod was so salty it was like eating salt from a jar! The rice with the chick was rock hard and so was the chicken! Don’t order from these fraudulent cowboys! Terrible! How can you sell food like this and then not offer a refund?! It’s wrong! I’m so angry over this situation, that I’m going to report them to the Health and Safety executive! Do not order food from this place! It’s terrible! What a disgrace!

didn't bring kids food as was missing chicken so then return with just the chicken for a kids dinner what no cold make no sense awful specially regularly used won't ever dine in or use again utter terrible service

Our waitresses was very friendly, the food is very good. It's an old place, shabby , casual but enjoyable.

Ordered takeaway for 7 of us (adults and children) ..so much choice from the menu and food arrived on time, all neatly packed. Would highly recommend Two Kitchens for varied and really good food!

Misleading menu description resulting in paying £8 for a small piece of dry breaded chicken and limp chips. Not the best considering that we have had good experiences before. Called to query the ‘wrong’ order and was told that what it is but the option doesn’t explain that you will not receive sauce when swapping pasta for chips. Could of had better sized portions and better quality food for less if I had ordered chicken and chips from somewhere else. Disappointing.

We have been coming here for years and always loved the mix of food that worked for the whole family. Starters came up in stages and my two boys were left watching me eat my starters. The mains turned up in reverse as my two kids got their mains and I waited 10 minutes for my noodle dish to turn up. We also waited 10 minutes for a can of Diet Coke. Staff looked like they didn’t care and many tables around us had the same experience. No offer of a discount and had the cheek of putting a service charge amount on. I paid it and went…. Also a lovely touch for the grumpy waitress to argue with me about trying to justify the busyness of the restaurants (6 tables) and opted not to say goodbye or thank us for our business as we left. Shame. This was always our ‘go to’ place for the past 15+ years. Maybe not….

Ordered takeaway online, service was excellent with attention to details, food was fresh and delicious. I ordered sushi and pizza. Highly recommend it and I will definitely come back.

Not enough katsu sauce as normal and not as hot as previously.

Very good and afordable food! The soup was great and we also had a large plate with garlic bread, definitely worth it! The waitresses were very nice and friendly.

Well, well, well! Who would have thunk it would take me 52 years to discover a restaurant that caters to all of my disparate pallets under one roof!? Thank you for bringing two of my favourite culinary cultures to one establishment! Genius and you pull it off with confident ease! The staff were attentive and cheeky - friendly, delivering top quality dishes (and drinks all night)! Couldn't recommend this place more! What's not to like - Sushi starter and Pizza main?? I mean it doesn't get better than this? Shame the place wasn't heaving as that could have raised the ambience somewhat? But still a 6 star, through and through!!

Always nice fresh food, well packaged and delivered promptly

We visited this place a few times before. But never again. You guys lack humanity! I popped in last week on a cold evening and asked if my 3 y old son can use a loo. I was refused as it's only for customers. I do understand if It would be a few grown-ups or a drunk company who will do a mess, but refuse a little boy who is barely toilet trained. It's sad.

Great place to eat and enjoy your day in Loughton area, many options foods from Italy,Japan and English.. I wellrecomend the Japanese cuisine, to be honest I get a lovely burger and onions rings very good quality.. But the best was the Tiramisu Baileys .. Service was very good and faster.. Price are honest

The company was unable to accept money from my card. Company employees started calling many times and demanding payment. blaming that they did not receive our money. The tone and addresses that turned into rudeness were very unpleasant. We always pay, the company knows our delivery address - such rude customer service is simply not acceptable. I paid a second time for the same delivery, they sent a courier to collect the money, but did not want to clarify the situation with the payment. I really don't recommend this place. When an incomprehensible situation arises, employees turn into completely different, unfriendly people.

Reasonable price and great food! Really enjoyed it. Had a mixture of both Italian and japenese when ordering and thought it might come out seperatly but all done very well and timely! Good vibe in there they had one giant table for a party as well.

My Grandkids fav eating place! One has Pizza one has sushi! Excellent service and staff! Try it!

Loved it! Went with a group and had a blast. Food was so good that we ordered a few more dishes than necessary. Still did the lot! Absolutely stunning. And I haven’t stopped thinking about the Baileys tiramisu! Great friendly service too!

Went here for the second time last night on the recommendation of several friends from the area. Lovely food. Delightful staff. My only regret is that I don’t live near enough to make this a more regular occurrence. I will definately be going back and look forward to trying more of the delicious items on the menu.

Great place food is always to a v good standard and generous portions - I was also v impressed when I made a mistake on a collection order ( I thought I put delivery) when I called to see where my order was they not only re cooked my food but delivered with no question of whatsoever - really appreciate it and food was lovely as always 👍🏼

Tried to take me 2 kids there for a meal, and I was told that I would have to eat. I said I wasn't hungry and just wanted a drink, and they told me that I had to eat which ridiculous. They then asked me to leave, so I would recommend avoiding this restaurant..

Duck inside the sushi was really dry and chewy, gyoza was really oily and far too much onion.

If you are looking for a varied menu, this is the place for you. Make sure you have a look before you visit otherwise it may be overwhelming. The quality, however, is very good. The Milanese Pomodoro and the Baileys Tiramisu are personal highlights for me.

I Highly recommend eating here as foods was delicious as well Appetising plus service was excellent. Also very well laid out.

Two Kitchens is a local favourite and a restaurant I have enjoyed visiting for years. The food is great, portions are sized well and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating especially when we've visited with friends with the kids in tow. Will happily return for both eat in and takeaways.

Driver found flat without even having to ring so top marks there ! Would have been outstanding on the food but the chicken was hard and seemed possibly even undercooked ! The caramelised onion garlic bread was delicious though highly recommend

I took my disabled client to the restaurant. We were made to feel extremely special and included. I cannot praise the staff enough, especially Kirsten. I can guarantee you have a new regular! Thank you ever so much.

This home delivery was massively disappointing sushi was great the rest was inedible truffle chips well over done chicken Milanese was not nice at all the chicken was tasteless and the l spaghetti tasted like hienz spag bol from a tin , garlic bread burnt and cold … Such a shame because I had heard such good things

Got a takeaway and quality and food excellent as always and great service . Food is always exactly the same.

Went on Friday night. 4 adults. Had a varied choice from the extensive menu with some Sapporo beer and a bottle of Primitivo. We had excellent Sushi for a starter and Mains were Black Cod, Prawn Won Ton soup, Salmon Teriyaki and the classic cheeseburger. Everything was good quality and excellent. Service was faultless. Whilst we spent £140 with service I thought good value. Will definitely be going again soon. Highly recommended.

There's a wide variety of food choices to suit everyone and it is also reasonably priced. The food came quickly, it was freshly cooked and everyone enjoyed their meal. The venue is surprisingly spacious and there are a couple of pay & display parking options; one across the road, the other around the corner.

Food was cold and inedible. We had to throw food away and order from Another company.

I have been thinking that next time I'm in the loughton area I should check out this enigma of two types of food one restaurant combo. Would have preferred half stars to merit each category as some would be less than or more than already given. The menu is slightly confusing but once you get your head around it is manageable.The quality of the ingredients used are reflected in the overall experience and lack of flavours/ taste - not good tbh

Waited almost 2 hours which I expected due to the weather but the food was stone cold and all the instructions including allergies had been ignored, restaurant was completely unhelpful and hung up the phone on me. Very poor as used to always get from here however won’t be again

I don’t know what has happened, this used to be our favourite restaurant! The food is awful and chewy, and has been our last 3 visits. Awful service too, waiters are rude. The garlic bread and katsu curry was just HORRIBLE! But this used to be the best thing about the restaurant. So disappointed.

The emptiness of this restaurant on a Saturday night should’ve been our first warning, having then sat down to be served very bland food by the most incompetent waiter I have ever had the misfortune of being assigned to my table - they, like us, evidently couldn’t wait to get out of this place and who could blame them Don’t ruin a good Saturday night by dining out here, in fact don’t ruin any time of any day - I promise you it’s not worth visiting, I would suggest redirecting yourselves to the nearby Wimpy for both food quality and service

Wonderful sushi here - the best in the area! Friendly and helpful staff. Delivery in Waltham Abbey as well! Food is always fresh and delicious. My go to place for the last 4 years.

We went to the Two Kitchens to help celebrate my birthday. We were immediately greeted very pleasantly and shown to our table. All the staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make our evening enjoyable from start to finish. One of the best things about coming here is for the enormous meal choices that help satisfy all the different tastes of our family, there is something for everyone. With the high cost of living, it makes a pleasant change to go somewhere that hasn’t increased it charges and is still affordable. We are looking forward to coming here again soon. This place is excellent, friendly staff, the sushi is fantastic and the kids love the Bubble teas. The food is excellent, good choice for everyone and service is quite fast too. We've been coming here for years and will return soon.

Hi the order was missing two items which was very disappointing we tried to call the restaurant numerous times but there was no answer. The items missing were cheesy garlic bread and the duck sushi

Love this place the food was so delishious and fresh our waitress kirstin was so nice helpful made our lunch great even giving my boy a special birthday dessert. Will defo be going back and would highly recommend.

Very small selection of pizzas, the pizza itself is rather mediocre. Chicken was very dry and lacked flavour. Would not purchase again. - *added after the comment: wow, what an awful response. Firstly, it is not a complaint but an observation and feedback. The chicken was dry and tasteless. I came to your store and ordered the pizza, did not have it delivered. Your response is rather defensive and is not a good look, telling where I should have went instead... aren't you called two kitchens?! Not great tonight - Saturday 29th Jan 22. Mains came out before starters had been finished . Waitress said ‘oh dear’ and walked off. Milkshakes didn’t have enough ice cream in it and was mostly milk and coffee was practically water - although waitress did say the person who worked behind the bar had gone home and they couldn’t be sure the coffee had been made correctly. Bill was wrong and we have been double charged for drinks. Not the usual 2 kitchens standard…
