Nice food, fast service which was perfect as we were there before a show at the local theatre.

This is the oldest Italian restaurant in Hoddesdon and has been there for years its nice for a casual meal nothing fancy and about the place or the decor, just ok for a meal if u fancy a bit of italian

Excellent as usual. Never had a meal at Marconato which has not been first class. I have been many times over the years and without doubt will be back for many more. I would 100% recommend.

We’ve been coming here for years, since I was about 3 years old and have never had one complaint. Service is beyond outstanding and very friendly, food is sensational and the various different types of meats. Expensive but worth it! Very family friendly!

I’ve been coming to Marconato with my family for 20+ years (since I was a kid!) and it’s truly stood the test of time! The food is consistently great, comforting, and very generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service is always top-notch. It’s the kind of place that feels like home, and I can’t recommend it enough. Marconato never disappoints!

Great and tasty friendly family Italian restaurant. My kids love it very much. We had the butchers pizza with extra cheese, lasagna, meatballs, carbonara, calamari, garlic bread with mozzarella, cheese cake and tiramisu. My kids love them all.

Went here for a Christmas work do. The staff were great and patient and the food was nice. My only critique were drinks could not be separated from the main bill.

The Parma ham and rocket pizza is my personal favourite but there is no soup

5 stars all the way. Food is superb, so tasty. Particularly the mussels and the prawn & asparagus risotto! Service is friendly, attentive and not rushed at all.

I absolutely love marconato’s! I’ve been coming since i was younger when i was about 13 years old. I’m now 25 and still love it. The staff are brilliant and the food is delicious. Cannot fault this place x

Food was really good, good portion sizes too. Waiting staff were nice too. They have a policy of not allowing you to buy your own drinks as you go, they insist on putting all drinks on one bill, with added service charge, for the party to sort out at the end of the evening. Also, when you order a spirit with mixer they serve you a double measure without asking, just be aware in case you are trying to limit your alcohol intake or stick to a budget. I find this a really irresponsible act, very disappointed in the venue for doing this. The entertainment was OK, and a nice party atmosphere in the venue. Unfortunately the hassle of having a large party trying to sort out the drinks bill will mean we wouldn't choose to go here again.
