The best restaurants in Broxbourne East of England

Can someone please tell me the reason why these have closed down?!!!

The Pizza Wow team catered for a birthday party we hosted, with around 80 guests. Excellent food, excellent service. The team are so professional. My guests have been messaging me since, saying how good all the food was. Best Pizza in Hertfordshire!

Arrived at twelve thirty and were told they were not ready asked us to come back. Asked if we could have a bubble tea at least the answer was no. Vintage car show on that day.... they should have ready and waiting for customers..

We had recently ordered a birthday cake for me so we went for a coffee and small cakes. Highly recommended for the cakes and superb coffee.

Absolutely love this place! Boris is such a kind man with a gentle soul x Food is top quality as well.. not just frozen to frying pan! Definitely a nice place to stop by with a lots of options on the menu!

Beautiful succulent flavoursome curry goat. The meat was soft with plenty of sauce. Definitely returning to these lovely people.

It's nice to have 'local' options rather than to have to travel in to London for Thai food, which is one of our very favourites. And there is far too much bad Thai food out here too. We have visited this restaurant twice now. So for someone who has lived in southeast Asia, just come back from Thailand, and is very fussy about Thai food - how does Mai Thai Kitchen rate? Well there are a couple of gems. I would say that the tom kha and green chicken curry are excellent and very faithful to what you might enjoy in southern Thailand. On the second visit we ordered these same two dishes that we had on our first visit - but this time we requested that they be a little spicier and that the green curry be a little less sweet. The chef didn't quite go as far as we would have liked. I would have scored the green curry slightly higher had they included the Thai aubergines, although perhaps availability of these ingredients is difficult in this country. The fishcakes have a great taste too but the texture is ever so slightly on the rubbery side and the cakes themselves could be more plump. The pad thai was decent although some ingredients were a bit unusual. All in all though it was enjoyable and the most important aspect of it was that it wasn't 'gluey' as they often are. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of the menu were the stir fried dishes and those that are closer to Chinese food. The banana dish in the dessert menu was pretty meh too. Really friendly family service.

Walking past on a Sunday lunch time I saw that they were quite busy and looking at the plates I could see why! I have now had a couple of Sunday roasts here, food is excellent an their coffee is lovely. Can hignly recommend. I have attached a photo of my roast beef dinner.

Very happy to be served “real” Lavazza coffee with my breakfast baguette. (Large sausage 2 bacon 2 eggs and mushrooms). All prepared fresh in front of me. Just follow the signs.

We went again for a visit with my friends and our kids. Everyone had a great time, we had the best pizzas we ever had! The pizzas were delicious and crispy, amazing mixture of flavours on the toppings too. For dessert I had tiramisu and it was so creamy so tasty that I took one with me for later x Highly recommended to all Italian food lovers.

The food is absolutely FIRST CLASS and there’s plenty of it. Service is really good. Friendly and helpful staff. Online ordering is a cinch. Choose your meal, select pick-up/delivery time and pay. There are quite a few Turkish restaurants in Hoddesdon now, but Raffles is definitely the top of my list. Thanks guys!

My daughter had her 13th birthday meal here last week , with her friends. My husband and myself sat at a separate table slightly away from them . The food here is second to none , you cannot beat it anywhere in Hoddesdon. The staff are so friendly and attentive and they work as a fantastic team . If you want the best food and terrific service then book a table at Zagara !

Go to pizza place. Never a disappointment. The pizza is hot when it gets home! Never had the pizza delivered late.
