Very friendly couple which work very hard serving up delicious food in Hertford Market on Saturdays. My vegan curry was fresh and they even mentioned the vegetables were grown by them too :) well priced for the portion size. The rice and peas are spectacular.

My son and I were wandering through Hertford Town a couple of days before he returns to Uni. Tommy saw the pop up stall and revealed that he loved goat of the curried variety. So 2x curry goat rice and peas later and 2 very full and happy boys. I even rang the stall holder back and told him how fabulous it was, best I've ever tasted!

The food was wonderful when I previously ordered. This time was disappointing, generic greasy Mac and cheese, the rice was dry and there seemed to be a lack of flavour in general. It was quite sad I must admit

Wow! First time having Caribbean food and I’ve missed out. Theres so many flavours and its so Tasty. 100% Not Jamaican food. But is still West Indian food. You won’t get better hospitality anywhere else. Food was hot! I was given a curtesy small sized dumpling and festival which is a nice touch. To keep my review honest; As a Jamaican I didn’t like the food, however you can tell it was cooked with love. If your new to West Indian food, you won’t be disappointed, and I recommend you give it a try. 5.7/6 feedback speaks for itself so give it a try.

Absolutely incredible. We’ve been trying to find a new Caribbean place and finally found somewhere worthy. Collection time was amazing, the Curried Goat was tender - piping hot and delicious. Portion size is INCREDIBLE for the price. Getting that in a restaurant, you’d happily pay double the price. The ackee and salt fish was also amazing. On top of that, the woman who greeted me to hand over the food was lovely! Very happy and polite. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. 10/10*

The food was lovely. The delivery driver was incredibly polite. There were a couple of items missing from the order but I was compensated at the door. Was disappointed that there was also a piece of chicken missing from the 1/4 leg and thigh. We received only the leg. However luckily it tasted good and the service was great. These things happen I guess.

Food was alright but could have had more curry goat. Ive had way more curry goat and sauce for less at other restaurants. Think they should specify the hot wings for £1 is actually just one wing.

the food was good, however, the plantain was too soft so it did not look fresh. They can improve on that. also the food container for the plantain was not good quality. They should also use better food disposal containers. Overall good food and experience

Yes just the way I like it Coleslaw beautiful and fresh festive boyfriend loved it and you even chucked in two dumplings that was so lovely of you. Somehow it was even better than last time! The bar gets higher and higher! Not a bad word to say against Khaya Kitchen - an incredibly kind family who I’m sure we will see many more times in the future :)) the dumplings and fritters were top notch and much appreciated :))

The food is proper nice and I've had most dishes on the menu. But the stew chicken is ridiculously good. Definatly top tier food. Can't beat it.

Stopped at the stall in waltham cross with my son, we both had patties, beef and chicken, wow what fabulous fare, you pay for good food, and this was that. Will be back.

I am usually apprehensive about Caribbean take aways and yet again I’m left dissatisfied and disappointed, the reviews enticed me claiming that the food was authentic but what I received was soggy rice and peas, don’t even seem the peas was soacked into the rice properly or there was just a lot of coconut milk used, yet again I go back to authentic taste, there is no thyme,pimento,ginger in my curry goat which was bland and over cooked, couldn’t even eat it had to order from somewhere else#dissappinted

Food was late and was absolutely Disgusting Mac and Cheese was just pasta with cheese on top, Rice and peas tasted off and hard no flavour just tasted of coconut oxtail had no flavour neither did the curry chicken spent over £50 of the disgrace they call Caribbean food YUKK!! and I waiting over a month for just eat to resolve this issue.. The food was delivered late, but I was called beforehand and they told me that they were running late. It was not a problem for me. The food was good and worth the wait.

Food was okay. Delivery was late and was changed to show it had been delivered when it was still at the restaurant - which I only found out when I called them. The delivery guy was very apologetic and so was the guy on the phone (not sure if they were the same person).
