Nice local pizza What is nice that it is full of ingredients not a plain bread with a tomato sauce 🥫 Dough is fine, but it gets chewy when cold. Overall we are happy A year later: It is the Best Pizza at Hoddesdon as we have tried all Italian restaurants at Broxbourne 😀 You won’t regret it Chef is fabulous 👍

Best Italian restaurant around, fresh authentic and great service

It’s Dinner time ! Do not order any pizzas from this restaurant! This is not the restaurant that it used to be.They must have changed owners because the food is awful there now. They’ll charge you for delivery and send you partly cooked food. You’ve been warned people ! I’m not paying for food poisoning. This pizza is not edible. Food standard eat your heart out with this place. Needs an inspection fast.

We are regular’s, I booked this restaurant for a surprise for my fiancé. Was 23 of us so we booked the whole restaurant. Atmosphere was perfect, food was delicious. If you love traditional Sicilian food then this place is the place to go.

Our first visit here at this ‘homely little Italian restaurant ‘ in the centre of a Hoddesdon housing estate with my wife and friends. My wife and I started with prawn cocktails which were ok in quality but expensive at £9.50 each. We then both had the Chicken Milanese with Spaghetti Bolognaise, and this was excellent, a really big portion and super value at £14.95 each. The service was very good, attentive and friendly from the staff who served us. We thought the drinks were expensive with a Coke at £3.95 and a small beer at £4.20, as others have commented, these are London prices.

Kind people, serving delicious and fresh food that could be home cooked, in a very pretty restaurant. We had panelle, pasta, pizza, tiramisu and cannolo siciliano.

Eaten here so many times and it’s always good. But Last night was awful , staff changed , daughter gone to Italy and the service has deteriorated. Pasta was dry , we were told this is how fresh pasta is , ?!? Service was like faulty towers . To top it off when we tried to explain how the evening went one, and the food was terrible , the waitress told us to stop swearing , that the owners daughter was there ! ? We hadn’t said any swear words ! They then brought the bill and I said thank you , I’ll pay in a minute when I’ve finished my drink I was told pay now or I’ll call the police !!! Police for goodness sake what is wrong with them !! It was extremely intimidating and they were very aggressive, we paid the whole bill and was offered nothing for the terrible food and service . I will not return .

we love it here and have come quite a few times past year or so. food is amazing, proper homemade italian and very good service. However, we were shocked by the drinks menu, £33 for a bottle of wine, over £11 for cocktail and almost £4 for a coke! these are London prices. There was no choice of 'house wine either'. sadly i think this may put people off returning

Best Italian restaurant in the area. Fresh and genuine ingredients, large sizes, great value for money. We had pizzas and seafood and everything was super delicious. It's a small family-run restaurant. Totally recommend it!

Overcharged for chicken Milanese 15.95 with bolognese then charged £12.50 for spaghetti bolognaise then charged £5.95 for a salad we didn’t have £4 for a Fanta check your bill , as the waitress recons the menu. Has changed well it’s not she said that there not making any money

Wow wow wow, what a fabulous evening we had at Sicilia Bella last night. This family run restaurant was recommended to us and didn’t disappoint. As another reviewer said the location and outside are unassuming but this place is a little treasure! The food was amazing, honestly, when my friends plate came out first I had food envy, then mine came out and I was blown away! Service was fantastic, friendly and personable but not pushy. Wine was very nice, it was slightly more expensive than I expected but it was actually a decent bottle. We will 100% be back, thank you so very much for a fantastic evening x

My Italian friend recommended this restaurant, and what a find, from the friendly welcome from Staff to the amazing food, the pasta dishes we tried were sublime, take a bottle, pay the corkage and sit back and enjoy the family feel with excellent food.

Didn't think the food could get any better but tonight it did. I always like to try something different and tonight my food was incredible. I didn't want it to end. Really generous portions and I struggled but couldn't leave any. As usual a warm welcome and friendly staff. Such a gem of a place. So lucky its local to me.

This is easily the best restaurant I've ever been to. It gives you the options of eating in or taking away. I always take it away but for the 10/15 minutes I am in there waiting for my food, I feel like I am standing in a restaurant in Italy itself. I have always wanted to go to an Italian restaurant but I never found anything like this lovely restaurant. This place truly brings Italy to England and I am lucky enough to have it on my doorstep. The aesthetics of this place are amazing. It is well decorated, it has pictures from Italy on the wall that is a nice touch and gives it more of an Italian feel. It is also a very calming and tidy place. Even something as simple as the layout is amazing. The tables are well decorated and look cosy. There’s also plenty of distance between each table so you don’t get claustrophobic. Unfortunately I’m yet to eat in, but if I were to, I would imagine it feels like you are sitting in an Italian restaurant in Italy. They have also created a friendly atmosphere, making each customer feel welcomed. The staff are super kind and put it in the effort to welcome each customer. Each customer is met with friendly smiles. I could easily go there every day, it is just that amazing. I can only describe this restaurant as heaven sent. Not to mention, the food is exquisite, each mouthful is pure bliss. It is just as nice as it looks. The food is completely fresh too and well priced. I would say it is worth all the money. In fact, it is one of the cheapest places considering the amount of food you get for the price. The pizza’s aren’t like anything you have ever eaten. They’re massive and the smell alone is so fulfilling. Even something as basic as chips aren’t basic here. They are easily the nicest chips I have ever eaten. This place can take any basic food and turn it into a special tasty meal. I have no idea how they do it but it’s admirable. Everything about this place is perfect and I highly recommend this beautiful tasty place. If I had the option, I would give this place more than 5 stars. I try to make an effort to go as much as possible and I suggest everyone does too.

Just had a take away and as always it was so good!!! You can tell quality right away and this place is great. Will definitely be in soon and definitely order delivery again. Really impressed!

Spent a really lovely evening at Sicilia Bella last night. The prawn & porcini mushroom pasta dish was absolutely delicious as was the bruschetta. Such a lovely family run restaurant with a great atmosphere. Yes, there is a corkage charge, but you can make that decision before you go! Will definitely be going back again soon 💚🤍❤️ Have a fantastic holiday guys!! xx

Food is highly commended. Visited many times. However, traditionally corkage applied if you took your own wine into a licenced restaurant. Sicilia Bella have decided not to get a licence but now apply a penalty corkage of... wait for it... £7 per bottle. That can easily represent over 20% on price of the meal. That's insulting. I'll not be making any effort to return. Very disappointed. Upon owners response have updated my comments as follows: using the same site as the owner quoted... The main reason why businesses charge corkage fees is to recoup the costs of serving the alcohol. Regretably they did not serve the wine. it was self service! 20 odd % for the experience is not value for money and is simply a money spinner. We eat out a lot - two or three time per week and this is not our experience outside London!

From the outside it may not look like much, however when you walk in you feel like you’re in a typical little Italian in the heart of Italy! It is a family run business and the food is amazing! Known Customers walk in being greeted with hugs and kisses and the chef came out to us to say hi! Lovely little touches like that with great, fresh food! Would 100% recommend.

We collected our food from here, I’ve lived nearby for a few years and am really regretting not getting food from here before now. The value for money is amazing, the food is delicious. I can’t recommend it enough. Sea bass, clams and prawns. The garlicky spinach was incredible also.

This place is a a real little gem, food is beyond incredible, a must for anyone food lover to try, and trust me you will go back again and again. Pizza’s are amazing & Pasta dishes that will simply make you mouth water and your stomach full..! Pasta with authentic italian sausage Casarecce (Egg Fresh Pasta) Con Crema Di Broccoli E Salsiccia WOW…!!! it’s a must and the Caserecce con pistacchio gamberi e pancetta….blows your mind, & With even some to take home as the portions are big. The Owner Santo is amazing and very friendly, and really has true talent and and a gifted chef, as well as his team. Well done will be coming back for more… again and again.!!!!

12 of us on a Saturday night, this place came recommended by a few friends, had no idea what to expect. the food was quite simply the best Italian we have ever tasted, we go to Sardinia each year and their food matched if not exceeded the restaurants there! no drinks licence currently so great to bring our own, hence left a very good tip. service was spot on. only complaint not a chance in hell a few of us could finish the plates as such good portions. loved it so much, got a take away pizza the following day, and returning Wednesday. Thank you for a fab evening highly recommend xx

We tried this restaurant on New Year’s Eve based on the recommendation of other friends. WOW. The service was excellent, we felt so welcomed and accommodated. The chef even come over and said hello to us. Now the food… Outstanding!!! The quality was excellent, price was very good and the portion sizes were huge! I enjoyed it so much I’ve booked again. This is worst place i don't know how it can have 4.9 most probably fake reviews. Seabass tastes like tinned sardines! We been ill for nearly 3 days and puking. £8.40 for a apparently medium glass of sicily red wine which it didnt taste like it, maybe just a tesco brand. Charged us £75 which isnt worth it and definitely been over charged! Avoid at all costs.

All food was fresh, authentic and prepared with love, portions are large. Spent many years in search of the perfect Italian and little did I know this was there. Service was excellent. We had a lovely Valentines evening here and I think this is going to be a regular visit just to get through the menu as all of the food looked and smelled amazing! Great atmosphere with the signing too. You have to come here! Lovely staff, food, drink and service and very homely!

Best Italian food in Hoddesdon by far - flavoursome and fresh! Very friendly and good service. I normally go to the town centre for an Italian meal, but after visiting this gem, I’d have to say they are twice as good as the other Italian restaurants in Hoddesdon! So many choices on the menu that I could have gone for, but I went for squid special starter, (very large portion), egg pasta with prawns+pistachio +pancetta and Tiramisu. All courses were excellent. We had mid price range red wine and that was nice, so would gladly have that again. We visited on a Saturday evening. They had a singer entertaining, which put all the clientele in a good mood - it reminded us of being on holiday, seeing so many people chilled and a smiling. We are planning to returning very soon.

I've been looking for several years for a place anywhere near Hertfordshire that actually does a decent pizza or authentic Italian food. And I cannot express how lucky I am that this place has opened up not 100m from my front doorstep. Best pizza in a Hertfordshire, and best food in Hoddesdon period. I can see a lot of good food in my future.

Fantastic food and a warm friendly atmosphere. The head chef / come round and introduced himself and made us feel very welcome. Couldn’t ask for more.

Amazing staff and service.. we have been ordering more frequently than I care to admit 🙈😅 and every time the pizza and sides are incredibly tasty 😋 we only order from here if getting Italian!! We have only used their takeaway service but they do offer dine in too! The staff are very friendly and the collection times are usually very quick!

I am so glad to have discovered this place. Being a second generation Italian born here I know what good Italian food tastes like. This place hits the mark every time. So far the pizza pasta and arancini have been tried, and have been great. Slowly I hope to work my way through the whole menu. Keep up the good work

This is such a diamond amongst the rocks, I’ve been living within walking distance from this place February and I feel absolutely stupid for not going there sooner, the atmosphere is fantastic, the service is brilliant and the food is outstandingly beautifully exquisitely delicious!! I ordered a Bruschetta for starters(the salmon one is particularly lovely) and had a ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta, smothered in a beautiful, fresh mushroom sauce then to finish it off I had an Eaton-mess gelato… I would highly recommend this place for anyone. Trust me it’s amazing.

In a very unassuming location is the best Italian restaurant we've ever been to. We've been all along the Amalfi coast, to Rome and nothing compares to this amazing restaurant within walking distance to our house. Everything is freshly cooked, including the pasta and the flavours are amazeballs. Staff are all excellent and the chef is a gem. Can't recommend enough and we will definitely be back 😍😍😍
