Love the pistachio hot chocolate. The croissants are always amazing. The filled ones are allway full. My last visit the hot choc was colder than usual. It was made with leftovers. I have no problem with that. But maybe it shouldn't have been used if the temp was below standard. I also didn't have cream. I like my drinks at about 120f. So I could drink it straight away. Which meant we didn't stay very long. My boyfriend drank his in one. But it's still a lovely place for food and drink. It was the first not so good drink I've had from here. So easily forgiven.

3 of us each had different drinks and a cake. We shared, they were all great choices. Have also eaten at their shop in central Cambridge. Again top notch food and drink.

I LOVE this place. I live an hour away, and when I have to go to the hospital in Cambridge, I always make a stop here. Best cannoli I've ever had. The pistachio one is my favorite. Unfortunately today they forgot my margherita pizza, and my husband was all the way back home before we realized. They gave us the wrong sandwich, and forgot my pizza. I was super disappointed! And because we are an hour away, we could not go back to fix it. I'll still be back. I can't resist the pastries, gelato, and pizza. Just hoping they don't mess up my order next time!

I reserved a panettone weeks in advance for the 24th of December. They never told me to pick up the order before a certain time. I arrived on the 24th at 12pm only to be told "oops we sold your panettone". No explanation, no offer to make things right, nothing more than a sorry. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, this has ruined Christmas for me - I now have to run around town in search for an alternative because Aromi aren't able to honor their reservations. And to add salt to the injury, they still had my reservation note in the kitchen. I'm a regular customer, I love their food, but because of this I will avoid Aromi from now on.

Very slow service, the cookie with pistachio filling was ok, and the coffee was ok.

Having been to Aromi numerous times over the past few years, I can't help but rave about their incredible food. As a passionate lover of all things Sicilian-inspired, this cafe holds a special place in my heart. From their mouthwatering food to their delightful bakery treats and heavenly gelato, every bite feels like a journey to Sicily itself. When it comes to their gelato, my taste buds dance with joy over flavours like pistachio, dark chocolate, coffee, and tiramisu. Honestly, it's hard to pick a favorite because each one is a masterpiece in its own right. And let's not forget about their cakes – oh, those cakes! Moist, flavourful, and utterly divine. You must try their pistachios cake!!! Absolutely delicious 🤤 The icing on the cake (pun intended) is the wonderful staff. Their warmth and friendliness make every visit feel like catching up with old friends. Without a doubt, I can't recommend Aromi enough. It's a true gem that never disappoints.

On 31 December 2023 wwe had a late lunch. Managed to get sit just before the rush hour and order coffee and Margherita pizza, teramisu. Very tasty as always!!! Atmosphere is cheerful, friendly. Assistant /barista was serving is great Italian style! Same time way too loud.

It took forever for my cappuccino to arrive and when it finally did, it was lukewarm.

We popped in for lunch because the place looked busy and the food that was laid out, which we saw as we walked past on our way to another store to do some shopping first, looked really good. After a short wait in the queue, we ordered a Parmigiana Focaccia, a Caponata, and a hot chocolate. They charge one rate for eating in and a lower rate for eating out/take away. We were worried we weren't going to get seated because the place was busy. However, we did find seating next to someone who was on their own. We did have to find our own seating. The food came fairly quickly, and it was hot. By which time, we struck up a pleasant conversation with the other person on the table and learnt of the Thick Hot Chocolate they do. It's a seasonal promotion. Even though they do not offer table service, I was able to get one of the team members to get a Pistachio flavoured Thick Hot Chocolate, and she arranged that I could pay on my way out. The Thick hot chocolate did not turn out to be Thick so I went to the counter, they agreed, and made a another one for me which was absolutely heavenly, devine, luxurious and any other superlative you can think of. The food was also very good, actually very tasty. We took half of the Parmigiana Focaccia home, then later that evening, we heated up in the microwave for 2 mins and ate it. It was just as good as when we had it in the afternoon. I found the staff to be very helpful & pleasant. There is 1 toilet, which is for men and women, and another for disabled and baby changing room. I would like it if they had a bigger seating capacity however, I appreciate that not every day is a busy Saturday afternoon in the run up to Christmas, which is when we went, meaning for other days and times, their current seating capacity maybe adequate. Total spent, £22.30 which includes the Thick Hot Chocolate 😀.

Great Service, Great Food!! Vegan was an option which suited our long time vegan friend. We were a walk in group and were seated immediately. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the food offerings. Even ordered a taxi for us after a great meal. Definitely recommended.

This is an authentic family style Sicilian coffee shop with a great selection of coffee, dolci, and pizzas. We’ve tried their cappuccino and espresso on our second day in Cambridge and it was wonderful. Andrea showed utmost hospitality and generosity, which immediately created a very warm aura. We made it a habit of revisiting them every time we are in the area.

Wow, that ice cream was gigantic for its regular size! There were only a few options available, but they were absolutely delicious!

Very good pizza. I really enjoyed the dough and taste. The tomato was a bit too sweet for me, but that’s just personal. The place itself is nice with a good exposition but I found it a bit dirty. It would be good to clean it a bit more. Still I would recommend it for proper Italian food.

Pizza is always freshly cooked to order. Always tastes great. Our kids beg us to take them here in preference to anywhere else for lunch in town!

Just wanted to say how bad the service was today Sunday the 15th of January 2023. It was shockingly bad. Food never arrived and when I went to check after 15 minutes they said they threw away the order number, I said that doesn't sound great and she just ignored me, I than asked for a refund and after that she didn't even look at me and just pointed the card reader machine at me, not a single word of apology! I wasn't the only one complaining, other customers just walked out after waiting ages to order. The lady serving did not give a flying fish and when I said to one other colleague of hers that I will write an online review, there was zero response or interest. Will be posting it on your page on social media as well. In these struggling times I would have thought spending £25 on a coffee and pizza and ice cream would be exactly what businesses like this are crying out for in terms of customers but doesn't look like it with these folks. When I went to leave she just looked the other way as I want past 😊

Took my family for Gelato. Extremely expensive but worst of all, tiny portions. Even forced me to buy a portion for my toddler. Rude staff. Will not be going back as they are too possessive of their precious Gelato.

The arancini is delicious. But I was served ot on a saucer! It kept falling off the edges. I had to ask for a knife and sugar for my coffee and got my own serviette. I ate in. I asked for a bit of salad to go with the arsncini but I was told it isn't possible. Very unimpressive service.

I’ve been in here many times as it’s the perfect spot to sit down and eat to escape my partner dragging me around the Primark a couple of doors down. The shop itself is quite narrow and there tends to be a long queue, but it’s just testament to how good the food is. I visited today and had one of their fresh sourdough Margherita pizzas which was incredible, along with one of their chocolate Occhi De Bue’s and the best pistachio gelato I’ve ever had. The food was delicious and the although very busy, the service was excellent. ** I thought I’d just put a quick note on here, defending all of the staff following an altercation today with a disgruntled customer. The lady couldn’t deal with the fact that her card/voucher from last year no longer had any credit and the staff would therefore not be able to give her a FREE pizza. She berated the staff and mentioned she’d be leaving a scathing review - please disregard this if one appears - all of the employees dealt with her very politely and professionally despite her being in the wrong and when she returned, even GAVE her the free pizza to appease her, as she was clearly disturbing other customers.** I’ll certainly be back.

Came to Aromi after wandering round looking for some lunch. As soon as you walk in you are surrounded with the most delicious looking food. We chose a salami and mozzarella focaccia which were heated through and tasted incredible. There were so many more options to choose from as well. The coffee and cannoli was also lovely and we ended up buying a tin of coffee to take home. Wish there was an Aromi closer to home but if we ever return to Cambridge, Aromi will be our first stop.

The food here is incredible, of the same high quality as the other aromi in cambridge. The hot chocolates are to die for (hazelnut, pistachio) and the ice cream in the best in cambridge - classic italian flavours and you get your money's worth. However, I have only ever had negative experiences sitting in. The staff are far too overworked and the space is small, dirty and unkept. It gets very hot and loud and there is little space, so probably not accessible and not kid friendly.

Very tasty pizza, not badly priced. Queuing to pay took longer than actually cooking the pizza. The only negative is that although the food is kept behind a glass screen the flies can still get in and on a warm day there were several flies on the uncooked pizzas.

Lovely food thankfully. The two female counter staff yesterday (Saturday) were so rude. They were indifferent to serving and treated the customers with barely veiled contempt. Not a good experience.

AWESOME! Only eat here if you come toe the Grafton. The food and ice cream is amazing and good value for money too.

I unexpectedly enjoyed their focaccia. I thought it was too heavy because of the bread but it was delicious and not really that heavy.

Visiting a niece in town, fancied a bite, her choice, excellent. Open kitchen, freshly may pizza, tempting sweet treats, etc. Ate in, good atmosphere, clean and tidy, not pretentious. 3 people ate well, including coffee £27, amazing value given the location. Well worth the queue to g in.

I am usually not the biggest fan of cannoli but wanted to give them another try and am so glad I came here because they were delicious. Will come again next time in cambridge to try out the tasty looking pizza

Lovely food but a long wait. We ordered a foccacia, cake and 2 drinks. When we sat down we realised we'd been overcharged, however staff soon rectified this. We then waited approx 15 minutes for the sandwich and a latte. Far too long bearing in mind there appeared to be plenty of staff. A bit of a shame because the food was vert good.

So there is a reason that on arrival to aromi the que is out the door! It amazing!! The arancini is out of this world!!! Best Italian deli with in 100 miles!!! No joke!

A good experience! The coffee was great but the sandwich was ok.

Aromi is love! Aromi's hot chocolate the best you could imagine. Nothing comes close to that. The cannelloni melts in the mouth. It's heavenly. The only trouble is the long queues these days because of their other branches being closed. But hope they open up soon. They just need a bigger place, with more seating. It is absolutely amazing!

Limited options available, and served lukewarm. No proper glasses or cutlery, just terrible single use plastics and flimsy bamboo. After we sat down, it took them 7 minutes and two reminders to come clean our table from the previous customers; and even then there was still sauce spills left after a cursory wipe. The food itself is good, but man the service lets it down, big time.

Beautiful, fresh and authentic food, I would highly recommend. Staff were polite and professional, since it was my visit I wanted to know about how the food was prepared and the server explained to me that everything is freshly prepared the morning of all with fresh ingredients - no prepackaged and microwaved food here! Though definitely not the cheapest, I would happily visit again as the quality is really worth paying for - would note that the location does get busy but good things are worth waiting for and I would happily come back for pizza and coffee again.

Cappuccino was on point!! I could eat their cannolis all day as well. So so good. It’s busy and hectic in there but worth the patience. The bread is amazing so the pizza and focaccia are just so good.

Too many good things to say about this place. In-house sourdough proved sourdough for the sandwiches and pizzas, generous amount of cheese, served warm with indoor and outdoor seating at this venue. Coffee is very much Italian style espresso, unsurprisingly.

Friendly service & very tasty, fresh food. Tried the calzone and the pizetta: both fresh, very good quality, handmade and authentic. Seats available both in- and outside. During weekends can get very busy. Delivery available. Take away too. Can only recommend!

Customer service needs a bit of improvement, a bit slow sometimes 🙄 had me waiting 15min the other day and I was only the 2nd person on the line.... Apart from that amazing food, in love with the chocolate corneto + the cannoli and the arancini 🤤

This is a nice cafe that is available within the city. They had a lovely selection of pastries and other snacks. We got some coffee and pastries from here and they were good. Especially the pistachio cake, it was delicious but the pistachio croissant was too sweet for my taste personally. If you are looking for a good pistachio croissant, I'd recommend "Modigliani". They are just outside the centre, but have a lovely selection of pastries available to choose from.

Food is good. Service is slow, 3 customers in the shop, included me, I was neither served and even the other customer who was waiting left. Not the first time.

I enjoy dropping into Aromi for lunch after a taxing early shift. Atmosphere is low key & chilled, ideal to unwind from any challenges. staff are friendly & food is discreetly exquisite. Always a pleasant experience.

We visited Cambridge during the summer, and found this wonderful Sicilian café in the heart of the city. We stopped at Aromi for a light lunch a couple of times. The focaccia and pizza slices are wonderful - we really loved the food here. The espresso is very good too. There were quite long queues at lunchtime, as it’s very popular!

The foccacia sandwich was warmly heated and it was delicious! Big portions, could share between two. Good coffee. I will be coming back to try the desserts too.

One of my favourite places to eat. Their pizza and tiramisu are unbelievably tasty. Also make sure to order your pistachio cake with the coffee: you will be delighted.

Amazing food as always, never disappoints

If you look for the real taste of sicilian food in Cambridge, Aromi is your place. Go there once and you will return again and again. I'm from Sicily myself, you can trust my word and give it a try. Then you will know I'm true.

An absolutely beautiful little place with food that is out of this world delicious. It has an enticing spread laid out for you to devour with your eyes before you get to enjoy it on a plate. An authentic Sicilian eatery (but what would I know!). I had a delicious Caponata pizza which is a sicilian style tray baked pizza rather than a neopolitan style thin stretched round pizza. It was amazing. I would highly recommend this gem and am looking forward to visiting again. 5 Stars!

Our go to place to get coffee!!! The place serve one of the best coffees I've tasted. Their food is delicious especially the eggplant sandwich looking thing, absolutely hooked on it. Also, tried their desserts which all tasted great. Overall, the place has plentiful seating, relaxing ambience, good customer service, and a great variety to choose from.

A Cambridge staple with a queue for a reason! The pizzas are good, but the standout is the arancini balls- a must-have!

Aromi always has excellent, great-tasting food. A few new pizzas now available, such as the salame. The Grafton shop feels spacious and more open. Worth visiting if you are nearby.

Food is great, coffee is average at best. Returned two ‘flat whites’ that looked like they were made with gone off milk. Was assured, rudely, that that is what a flat white looks like when made with oat milk. Left the coffees on the side and went to buy some at Gails just to remind myself that flat whites do actually involve foam.

A must-try in Cambridge, especially the gelato!

Their caponata pizza is easily my fav pizza in Cambridge. Wonderful Italian ice cream, too! If you're a coffee connoisseur, I'd try elsewhere -- it's not bad, there's just better places around :)
