Excellent pizza fantastic atmosphere and brilliant service..

Nice pizza at a reasonable price, although stingy with toppings. The anchovies pizza (#5) had three capers on it which was disappointing and the staff were bickering amongst themselves and some had attitude. Wouldn’t rush back despite the nice food.

Highly recommendable, Pizza is excellent, Csaba was fantastic, he definitely knows what he is doing, his service was superb . That's is really part of the great ambience of the place. It's a must when you're in Cambridge .

Poorest service i have ever seen. I used to have pizza there once a month but no more! No courtesy and no dog friendly. The guy at the door did not even allow for a chair for our french bull dog (sitting outdoor). The pizza (tasted previous times) is not well cooked. Very different since it opened. This is all but italian food and service

The Pizza here is great. I had one of the best gluten free pizzas I've ever tried. The base was cooked well and the ingredients were fresh and full of flavour.

Even small dogs are not allowed. the waiter was very nervous and rude!

After waiting for Uber eats to collect the food that was made nearly a hour before. Valentine from the store provided 5 star customer service. Kindly offered to re make the order once the diver finally turned up. He also called me to update me. He couldn’t do more. Fantastic service.

I eat Franco Manca Pizza regularly in Windsor branch and it's always been delicious but Cambridge branch pizza was not good and dough was not cooked enough, waiting staff careless and needs to be trained in terms of how to greet and meat customers and speaking polite to customers

The service was really bad, I never leave reviews but it was really shocking. No smiles or warmth and didn’t accommodate us at all. The person who served us, may have been the manager, had an attitude. I asked for something from the kids menu because I didn’t want a full pizza and the manager just outright refused (why is it any extra effort to make a SMALLER pizza) so I ended up not getting anything and watching my friends eat. He said no because it was busy? It made no sense. Very silly to turn down money. It also rained and the outdoor covering doesn’t properly cover the table so we got soaking wet. Pizza is always good at Franco Manca but wouldn’t go back to this particular one. A bunch of moody men working there.

Beautiful pizza freshly made from dough and thin Joe Italians have it, really enjoyed it as well as the (beer with no name) 9% proof and beautiful not bitter just great..I am there for food not atmosphere so sat outside watching world go by😃👊🏽

The pizza here is normally good, but I ordered a marina with mushrooms and it came with slices of raw garlic. It was too much and when I mentioned it the server just laughed it off. I shout have picked it off I should have complained. Vegan options are very limited and you have to make your own.

Seating outside and it was a sunny day with the markets behind us. Enjoyed the special pizza

We went to visit Cambridge and stopped to eat at this Italian restaurant. The pizzas were very good, but above all I have a very good memory thanks to Ema, who heard us speaking in Spanish and made an effort to serve us in our language. He also made very accurate recommendations regarding quantities, so I give the restaurant 5 stars and another 5 for Ema 🙂

Great place, had a lovely window seat upstairs, the food was excellent as too was the service from Joao and Lara. Definitely try their homemade organic lemonade!

The pizza is good. Toppings are good and inventive. Team is very friendly and helpful. João guided menu selections to make sure I would be happy when the food arrived. The location is convenient but the outside tables require some effort when there are a lot of people in town.

I visited Franco Manca yesterday night with a friend and had a really great time. The gluten free pizza was yummylicious and the waiter Joâo was a star and made our night out even more engaging and fun! Totally recommended 👌

I have already visited several pizzerias of the chain in different towns. The pizza was delicious, it was delivered quickly even though there were a lot of visitors. What I didn't like was that the forks were dirty, and all 4 at our table. Such a disappointment

The place was lovely! The food was fresh and delicious, and we received our pizza 5 minutes after the order. Staff was considering dietary requirements, and service was accelent. Especially great for the price. Would definitely visit again!

Fantastic pizza right in the heart of Cambridge. We turned up on a busy sunny lunchtime and sat outside. Friendly service, very quick and delicious pizza. They even made me a gluten free base too. Home made lemonade was perfect!

Csaba helped us resolve an issue with the delivery company delivering to an incorrect address. He did a great job - but the pizzas that arrived were a little underwhelming - colder than we would like and light on toppings. In future I plan to go to Franco Manca in person rather than delivery - these pizzas are much better on premises.

Lunch time. Pizza!! Very friendly staff, great service, catered to our needs. Delicious and nutre salad! Bruschetta with plum tomatoes. The gluten free pizza was good, very thin, quite similar to a normal pizza. Two options of olive oil, with chilli or with garlic. You can buy the oil to take home.

Today is my daughter's two-year-old birthday. We went to Franco Manca for her favorite pizza and ended up feeling shamed and chastised. We sat in the waiting area for our takeaway order and when the pizzas arrived, I gave my daughter a few bites of the pizzas on her eager request before we stepped out. Before we could leave, the store manager came and made a harsh point that no eating is allowed in the waiting area. Now the point would have been fair if earlier I haven't acquired the permission from the restaurant staff to sneak my daughter some bites there in the first place. The truth is my daughter has been having trouble eating as time and place seriously dictate her willingness to eat, and Franco Manca's casual waiting area just so happened to offer her the right vibe to get her going. For this we have been ever so thankful of the pizzeria and if it weren't for this particular reason, I wouldn't have wanted to impose by asking whether we could eat a bit in the waiting area (or we would have just eaten in if that works for my daughter). If it is a matter of skimming on service charge (which I am not aware that there is), I am more than happy to pay for whatever we owed; if it is a matter of optics, I wonder how unseemly we could have looked to bag that reproach; if it is a matter of principle, why not put up a sign and specify "no eating in the waiting area"? I felt targeted and treated like a second class citizen perhaps for being a mother or for being an Asian.

The WORST restaurant experience in my life! The food was awful. The pizza was sticky. I asked for something I can safely share with my dog like sausages or cheese. The waiter recommended a “beef dish” and insisted it was “just plain beef” and so would be safe for my dog. After feeding my dog half the dish, I decided to try it. It was NOT BEEF! It was Pastrami! I’m having to take my dog to the vets today with salt poisoning because of this! Next, we were attacked my teenagers with water guns while sitting to eat. Instead of saying anything to the attackers, the waiter just asked us to look the other way. Unsafe place. Horrible service. Avoid at all cost!

Stunning pizzas, super lovely staff (João was amazing), really lovely atmosphere sitting Al fresco. Wonderful with children too! We have come here a lot and highly recommend Franco Manca for the best pizzas in Cambridge!

The reviews are based on locality, very central for graduates and visitors. The pizza we had was not cooked through. One of the worst we’ve tasted. Please don’t go for a special occasion. It will spoil your evening. It’s fast food. Cooked through if you’re lucky.

My family ordered take away on their website. The app was difficult to navigate . Pizzas are listed by number not by topping.. we collected our pizza early and yet it was still cold

Brilliant service, as well as the best pizzas in Cambridge. A special thank you to Csaba (I think that's right spelling?) the Assistant Manager. Even at 9pm on a busy Saturday night, he was exceptionally efficient, helpful and kind!

Really nice location, very friendly staff and good food. Chester was our service and he was super nice and attentive. Food came out super quick and we really enjoyed our night out.

Our waiter, Joao, was so nice and helpful, and the outside seating is a great place for taking in the whole market area. The appetizer was OK, but we really enjoyed the pizza and the cocktails!

João and Vali contribute to a great atmosphere; the food is delicious and good value. In contrast to other venues in Cambridge, this Franco Manca actually feels like a friendly neighbourhood Italian place. Definitely recommended. I also witnessed the interaction that led to a negative review on 27/07/24. The manager Vali handled the situation very professionally and kindly; he simply did not have a to-go cup available, no matter how much the other customer insisted. She treated him rudely and stormed off the premises, which indicates more about the customer than the establishment.

The service was terrible, very rude waiters. The pizza was very bad prepared, the dough was burnt. I've eaten at Franco Mancas in London several times and always loved it, but the quality of this place was simply terrible. We had a bad experience and didn't even enjoy the food. Do not recommend.

I witnessed the disagreement that the most recent 1 star review (9/8/2024) is talking about and i think the review is completely unjustified and taken out of context. The manager did everything he could to accommodate, and handled the situation with the upmost professionalism. To me It seems this person must have been having a bad day.

The staff are so friendly! There is no need to mention the food, and if you are going to Cambridge and want to eat in a pleasant atmosphere, go here and try alcohol such as Norogo Pale Ale, and you will have an extremely enjoyable meal!

Old review: The pizza is great and staff are very friendly. Couldn't really fault this place. Updated on 4 August 24: Even though I have given this place 5 stars - I'm back here to say that this place over the years only got better. The service manager today has been exceptionally friendly and generous, especially with our little toddler.
