I ate here for the first time two days ago. The pizza was amazing, and Vali has made the entire experience even better! We actually came here again just because me and my friends wanted to have this experience again! 🍕 I strongly suggest having your dinner here if you ever find yourself visiting Cambridge city center. You won't regret it! 🤍

We always LOVE Franco Manca. As an Italian person I can say that it’s one of the best places to eat a good Pizza, with a good wine or aperol spritz. And the Amaro? Amazing! Today Joao served us and he was great! :) thanks!

This pizza was absolutely disgusting. We ordered through Uber and watched it be delivered. It turned up freezing cold and not how we asked. When I phone the shop they explained it was an Uber problem. This is a total lie. Avoid like the plauge

Great food quick service and Joao gave great service with real care in getting us exactly what we wanted and asked about allergies . One of our party has a genuine chicken allergy which many places think is joke, he didn't and noted the kitchen handle chicken. We will certainly be back

Best sourdough pizza. Toppings were incredibly fresh and delicious. Dough made fresh daily. Olives in was the salad were top notch. Joao was so lovely and attentive. Cool space to sit in with mellow music.

Been meaning to visit Franco Manca for a while now and I'm glad I did, they did not disappoint. Table for 2 is a tiny bit small for keeping 3 dishes at a time but apart from that small thing the food was amazing. We had the day's special wild mushroom and artichoke pizza which was beautiful. We also had the Burrata bruschetta and the roasted Squash salad with walnuts, artichoke and goat cheese which was delicious. The add-on garlic infused oil added another dimension to the dishes. Definitely coming back for more

You know what to expect in terms of quality and speed. Better value for money than other chains. Good location.

Needed a quick meal prior to a Gig. Never been to Franco Manca before and I’m struggling to come to terms with what I’ve missed. I loved everything about this place. We were warmly welcomed, seated within minutes, even though there were six of us. Swiftly served with drinks and our order taken. Food was exceptional. A totally pleasurable experience. We’ll be back next week when we’re back in Cambridge Arts Theatre.

You need to turn the temperature of the oven down or the flame down as the crust is not cooking all the way through or teach/learn how and where to place in oven

Really enjoyed the food, the buzz of the place, the staff very attentive. Food very quick even though busy Saturday lunchtime. There was a mistake with order which was rectified immediately and the item in question removed from the bill. Everywhere makes mistakes but the difference is how they are rectified.....i cannot fault the place, definitely return

Dined in today at the Cambridge location for the first time and was impressed by the quality of food and overall experience. My pizza was perfectly cooked and a great portion and my server Edie greatly added to my positive experience, will look into returning again! Thank you.

Sadly yet another disappointing visit to this restaurant. We arrived after the lunch time rush, it wasn’t busy, we had a nice starter of Aubergine Parmigiana… not overly hot, but we were hungry and tucked in quickly so didn’t mind. The pizzas arrived, and disappointingly they were cold, a little undercooked, and just flabby and doughy. We’d already tucked in and tried them before we brought them to the attention of the waitress who called the manager over. They kindly offered to remake them, but I hate food wastage and so foolishly ate it as they were tasty, but it resulted in a big bloated belly! They did offer deserts and coffee on the house, but having had frozen ice crystals in our deserts on a previous visit declined, and just asked they removed the two americano coffees we’d had on arrival off the bill. They were friendly, and as I’ve said were happy to remake the pizzas so that is something, but, this visit just like the last visit was for a simple birthday lunch after visiting the botanical gardens in Cambridge, and just like the last visit it did put a damper on a special day. I thought we’d give them the benefit of the doubt by trying them again but sadly it will be the last visit we make to Frano Manca as I wouldn’t risk another disappointing meal with them… such a shame.

I live opposite franco manca three stories up, and asked them to deliver my pizza by my lowering a bag on a winch, then filling it with pizzas, and lifting it back up through my window. Thanks to the legend Josh I was able to safely retrieve all 5 delicious pizza into my abode. Josh a deserves a promotion. 🥶🥶🥶 Jamie.

We been here many times, this time probably not the best food, however the first time we had shocking service from the young waitress. Rolled the eyes, made us split our own bill even tho we asked for 3 separate bills and ordered separately. She was shocked when we did not want to add a service charge - which is optional. Funnily enough we paid it accidentally. Might need to consider a different place going forward.

The atmosphere wasn't nice and the pizza was boring , We ordered a N.9. The pizza came looking very plain as though there was nothing but cheese and a minimal amount of meat ( 6~ tiny slices for the whole pizza ) , the crust was nice but the overall pizza didn't taste like anything great, it just tasted like something you can cheaply buy and heat up , The waitress wasn't the nicest , Wine is served in the same type of glass as juice Overall I wouldn't recommend this place, there's nothing special or good about it, just a mediocre place charging restaurant prices , £12 for a pizza which is mostly bread and tiny amount of toppings

I ordered my pizza via ubereats. The instructions weren't followed (pizza not cut and not well done) + it wasn't the expected italian pizza.

This is the first time I rate a restaurant to my memory. Actually the worse service I have ever experienced in my life. The young waitress kept on rolling her eyes when we were ordering and paying. Every interaction was awkward and she was being passive aggressive for no reason. The food was decent but there’s no excuse for when staff disrespect the customers. I am disappointed with the absolute disgraceful experience we had and I feel ashamed that a fine establishment allow for such a low level of service to take place. Be better.

Went a couple of weeks ago, fab service, amazing food, will be back soon. Service from Lara amd Matt was fantastic, fun and friendly.

This was a very nice location, felt like a movie set. However there were long waits, but it was very much worth it as the food was 10/10! Would definitely recommend a friend!

Served pizza had nothing to do with Italian one. Ingredients were fine but the most important thing which is dough was not crispy at all!!! Disappointing

This place has been a go to me for a while, there has been great service and great pizza. However on my most recent visit, i ordered a gluten free pizza and my friend ordered a normal one. My friends pizza came out looking amazing, but when mine was presented infront of me i was quickly disappointed. From the small amount of toppings they gave me (and i mean a rediculous amount) they had been slapped on and there was no care with presenting the pizza at all. I even noticed a woman that looked like a manager walk past my meal and pull a face as if it not to even be up to her standard. Apart from this the service was great, the two waiters on shift were attentive and very kind. I am hoping that next time i go there will be a better experience as i do love to eat here.

Had an opportunity to visit Cambridge with my wife, daughter & her 8 month old baby. We had been looking forward to eating there again as a special treat. Frankly it was disappointing at least. From entry in to the restaurant via the main entrance door, the 4 steps up to the ground floor eating area with a sleeping baby. Then table access was good, but when baby woke we needed a high chair, the high chair on this floor had missing parts from the harness so we could not secure the child. Another chair was obtained from the upper floor and those straps and fasteners worked. Getting in and out of the restaurant was a trial. Food wise it was just a disappointment! From limp pizza which had no crispy bottom (read under cooked) and little flavour. On the positive side the side salad was excellent. Note to others: don’t take a pushchair unless you want to leave it unattended near the front door (I was not going to leave A £1200 push chair) if you have ANY mobility issues, they cannot facilitate your needs. Only toilets are on the 3rd floor with stairs only and steps and no ramps anywhere! We did come to the same restaurant exactly 2 years previous and the pizza was great! All other factors remained the same but we didn’t face an 8 month old and push chair with us then, and we ate outside. Sadly Franco Manca is off our favourite places to eat list.

We had dinner at this place, and the Italian-style pizza was delightful. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, I would rate it 8.5 out of 10.

My wife raves about Franco Manca, but I only found it okay. It's better than Pizza Hut / Express, but the pizza my wife and son wanted was not available to order, and the side salad I wanted wasn't either. Reasonable pizza though.

Last I ate at Franca was in London, where it was busy and noisy. On the Saturday lunch hour, fills up quickly from 12nn but plenty of place to sit. Service is prompt, food comes fresh and we were served at the same time, tap water was refilled without much fuss. Best pizza ever, whichever the choice of toppings. 1 pizza is good for a big eater or shared. Ice cream desserts were small portions which was regretful. We had a nice view of the market square while we ate. Love this place, would revisit!

Pizza wasn’t properly cooked. Doe still uncooked and cold. Thin doe and flavoursome toppings. Freezing to sit with the door opening all the time.

The food was delicious but our starters came after our mains were served. We were half way through our meals. I think it was a bit odd. Rather than that great Italian pizza and very cosy atmosphere.

Such a welcoming atmosphere, great staff, great location and really delicious food. Absolutely loved everything we were served! It was also really nice to overhear a team leader/manager being really kind to one of his members of staff! Refreshing to hear! Really liked this place, will definitely come back again!

We visited on Saturday night. We didn't have a booking but had a 15 minute wait, which wasn't an issue. We were sat upstairs We had a problem with one of the pizza. We specifically asked for no tomato. Unfortunately, they served it with tomato sauce. They were very apologetic and said they would make a new one. They gave us a diet coke whilst waiting. Pizzas were all good and staff very friendly

We grabbed lunch at a bustling pizzeria with a line outside. Enjoyed Italian-style pizza with high-quality toppings; tasty overall. Friendly staff, but they forgot a few pieces despite reminders. The shop's first floor offered a nice view of the surroundings.

Huh? Possibly the worst pizza experience of my life. And it really let’s down the brand. I really don’t know what happened here. It felt like amateurs had bought a franchise and were only interested in getting visitors in and out as quickly as possible. It wasn’t just the service, but the pizzas were so, so poor. The fennel sausage was barely cooked (inedible) and the side salad was so embarrassing for the price. Next time, we will go to Tesco and buy a Franca Manca pizza to take home.

Franco Manca has lost its spark. Their food has no taste - I ordered a simple starter which is very easy to do, "pizza bread with oil, rosemary and salt". They managed to make it... tasteless. Same for their pizza. A shame.

I had an early evening meal of goat's cheese salad and wine. Very tasty.

I used to come here a lot, the quality of the food used to be amazing for the price. Sadly nowadays the food is just ok, often a bit burnt, the ingredients are not as fresh as they were when they just opened. Unlike the London branches, this one is always busy in the evening and you can't pre-book, so its basically a wheel of fortune whether you get a table when you want one or not. The front of house staff know that they have enough demand so they don't need to put the effort it and be attentive or friendly. The location is great and the prices are still good for the location, but it could have been so much more!

The 1st time we visited was unfortunately completely overshadowed by the manager belitting and shouting at the waitresses. We were offered 2 free pizzas as compensation and to give them another chance. We went again recently to redeem this, only to once again, listen to the same manager berating the staff. It's awful to watch and we won't be spending money here again (despite the food being amazing). I'd much rather go to Three Joe's.

Came for lunch on Saturday. Very busy but they found us a space. The server on the first floor - didn’t get his name - was great. A bit rushed but very attentive for a busy weekend service. Food was good too, I even took the leftovers with me!

Yesterday evening at 9 o clock more or less I ordered a pizza chorizo, and make me diarrhea for all night, so If you don't want to make a pizza after 9 close early, I can't get sick for one pizza (it cost me 21 pound)

It was a beautiful autumn day, we were able to sit outside enjoying the hustle and bustle over a lovely lunch. The sour dough pizza's were very tasty. Would really recommend it.

Not the best franchise. I usually go to Franco Manca in London or Brighton, this time I was out for a day in Cambridge and I decided to eat a good pizza. Unfortunately, it wasn’t good! The waiter was a guy that seems to be doing the wrong job, definitely not the best one in communication, we asked for the special pizzas of the day and he didn’t know, he just said “they are on the board, you have to go and check”. Thank you. The drinks were served warm, I asked for a pizza with “a very little extra tomato sauce” and I was charged £1.50 however the pizza was almost white base!! Really? You even made me pay for extra sauce, disgusting. The guy forgot to give us cutleries and when we asked he never came back. Likely the other waitress seemed to put a little bit more attention in her job. In the end we ordered desserts, the tiramisu was good, the cheesecake was bland but acceptable. We wanted to pay contactless but the machine wasn’t working so we couldn’t. The code shown on the receipt didn’t work on the official app, so I couldn’t collect the loyalty points. Cambridge is beautiful and full of good restaurants, go somewhere else.

Food was perfect we enjoyed the pizza. Service was great very attentive and friendly. We were unlucky as next to us sat a shouting and loud child so we didn’t enjoy the atmosphere. Overall I would recommend

franco manca is a joke of an institute. they claim to have the best service around. this is false! My waitor was a young boy maybe called charlie, he was so slow and so inattentive, ruined my whole evening!! i would have returned if it wasn’t for him do not recommend!
