The best restaurants serving Italian food in East of England

Service slow as only one member of staff serving and it was very busy. One meal, too salty. Another meal, salmon, over cooked and dry. Other meal, to be fair was very good. To be fair this is the first disappointing meal we have had here over many other good visits.

Great vibe, quality good. Recommend it.

Went for our 2 year anniversary dinner and had a lovely time. The service is exceptional, you can tell the staff are very attentive and make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. The food was good, tasteful and filling. My husband loved his calzone. I had the calamari and seafood risotto and it was nice, I enjoyed it. The calamari was a bit chewy but I loved the sauce/dressing that came on the plate. Overall, it's a cozy place to have a nice dinner for a special occasion or just an evening out.

Great food just shame it took too long and was cold. Was showing out for delivery for 30mins, & delivered when it wasn’t.

Buy 1 get 1 free doesnt make sense since you pay 19.99 for 2 pizzas which 1 is free...1 pizza alone is around 10 pounds so why i paid 20 pounds?plus i order 2 amalfi pizzas and 1 came without cheese without me asking for that...the taste was not even bad but the deal is not a deal basically..

We simply love this family run restaurant. Mrs bosses the front of house, Mr bosses the kitchen! The try Italian food is incredible. The service is perfection. We love you guys! See you soon for more minestrone !!! Lloyd and Laura

First time visiting Oliver’s for my daughter’s 18th birthday. Food was amazing as was the service. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Would highly recommend.

Realmente no sé por qué, pero la masa de pizza se ha cambiado, ya sea eso o no mezclado como de costumbre, ya que ha estado tan seco e insípido en los últimos dos pedidos. Fue como cartón en nuestro último pedido, tan decepcionante como que los ingredientes siguen siendo generosos y sabrosos, pero no puedo comer la masa como está ahora. Espero que lo cambien de nuevo a la receta original.

Great restaurant. Service was wonderful and food was exceptional. Popped in without a booking before going to the theatre and they accommodated us without issue.

We have been here before and thought it was great. However, this time we got there to find the restaurant was shut? We had pre-booked our table via their website?? Google said open. Their website opening hours said open. Completely threw us and wasted our time walking there. No signs saying it was shut or anything lights completely off, no one inside and couldn't open the door. This was on 19/07/2024.

This was the craziest and most entertaining afternoon. Prosecco, beer bottomless lunch. Great food and service, followed by DJ set right up there....... All time great experiences

We visited this restaurant in midweek, an early evening meal as we had heard good things about- my long suffering partner opted for a wrap and she was pleased with the fresh ingredients and the portion size was perfect- the fries were crispy and fluffy (I had my own portion as I value my safety), my lamb kebab was beautifully spiced and aromatic with the Bulgar rice a perfect accompaniment. I also tried the Turkish wine that had lovely cherry notes and just to be sure I had another. The lovely owners provided an additional, complementary starter and a taster of a dessert which was a nice touch. The menu also provides pizzas and burgers and therefore there should be something for everyone - they also offer takeaways. Highly recommended for a relaxing and nourishing meal

the pizza lacked any seasoning therfore tasted bland. Ate 2 slices and threw rest away. What a waste😐
