Nonna's Woburn Sands in Central Bedfordshire

The service was shocking. No one had a clue what was going on. Ordered a selection of sides and starters to all come together. The charcuterie board wasn’t even a board but a plate of ham with some olives throw on. Then a longer wait for the rest of the dishes which were then cold and the fries order wasnt correct. The halloumi was over seasoned with paprika on top.

What a beautiful pub to have dinner at! I will definitely be coming back again with the food and drink being second to none. Service was quick and efficient, a lovely young server Talia took great care of us. Freindly servers and great atmosphere here, we highly recommend.

Came to the swan the other day and the lovely Talia served us. She was attentive and couldn’t do enough for us, the food was amazing and so were the drinks. By far the best experience yet due to the friendly service and warm atmosphere!

Excellent venue for a family Sunday lunch. Our 4 grandchildren (aged 5 - 9) had plenty of choice & 2 of the adults enjoyed their vegan lunch. Our waitress was amazing. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Food overall was passable but I'm afraid to say that the service was well below expectations. Soft drink order wrong Starter order forgotten 'Alright' cheeseburger Overcooked broccoli (but good pork belly) Nobody came by to ask if main courses were ok, in fact nobody came back to the table at all & we paid at the bar on the way out Bar manager(?) seemed to spend most of the time outside smoking

Exceptional service they went out of their way to cater for my needs as a customer. Got the 5 star treatment. Great food. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

One of my favourite pubs with a great vibe, beautiful furniture, free parking, friendly staff members, and outstanding food. I have visited the pub many times in the past and have always been satisfied with the service. I would highly recommend it.

Amazing service and great food!

Very loud family in there at same time which ruined visit along with one of the mains being very small. Only 3 mouthfuls of mash and 3 green beans on the plate . For a chefs special being sausages mash with beans and onion rings it was rubbish. Undercooked sausages, barely any mash or veg. I would have been more full up after a starter.

We went here last night for a Valentines 3 course dinner. It was lovely. Soft music playing. Soft lighting and personal table layouts. Food and service good. Recommend it.

I visited the swan with my partner for a date night and we were met by a warm welcome from the staff. Great menu with lots of choices and also a great cocktail list, food was brilliant and came out quickly! Will definitely be returning

We have been here for breakfast several times and was recommended to try the Sunday roast and I am really glad we did. The portion sizes are fantastic, you won't go hungry, the staff are attentive and the food quality outstanding. I recommend the pigs in blankets side dish. Luca was our server and delivered the usual friendly high standards we've come to expect

Immaculate service, wonderful ambiance, superb food. I had the salmon linguine, rocket and parmesan salad, coffee and cannoli. Really delicious had forgotten just how lovely an evening there can be. On the recommendation of our server, my companion had the gnocchi followed by the bream which was served perfectly cooked with crisp skin and moist meaty flesh. Will be back very soon .

Had an amazing time at Nonnas, a spot that flawlessly mixes Italian and Maltese goodness. The sea bream stole the show – a burst of Mediterranean perfection that left me wanting seconds. Their new festive menu is a creative joyride, serving up dishes that are both tasty and Instagram-worthy. Kudos to the friendly staff, making sure our night was as awesome as the food. I travel from London to this restaurant and it is always worth the journey. The spicy margarita is as good as the Soho House Picante. I'd love to see more Maltese delights on the menu, but for now, Nonnas is my go-to recommendation for a unique culinary experience in the area. Don't miss out! 🍽️🇮🇹🇲🇹

Drove an hour to see what all the fuss was about. WOW! It was worth the drive and more… The meatball starter was like nothing I’ve ever eaten before, the meat was delicious and tender and the sauce was perfect. The customer service was brilliant. It was my husbands birthday and without prompting they brought over little dessert, wishing him a happy birthday. Felt very comfortable, I could have stayed all afternoon snipping vino. Will be returning very soon with all the family. I can see why they won an award- very well deserved.

I came with my family to Nonnas.I would not recommend this place if you would like a decent customer service. To over hear on a disagreement where the customer was truly in her rights to complain being spoken to like a non human put me off my food. To even ban her for the complaint was baffling and so very over the top she even apologised, she looked anxious. Also hearing staff speaking inappropriately about the party as they left was really uncomfortable.Food is ok but over priced. It’s really put me off returning to Nonnas I definitely won’t be rushing back.

Lovely food however I thought the lack of bread with the Camembert for two was disappointing. We were only able to eat a quarter of the Camembert due to the lack of bread. Pork was lovely. Nice wine list although some meals were a few pounds over priced in my opinion. Overall a nice experience

Would not recommend was told I was not welcome at nonnas anymore as I complained about my meal they wasn’t going to do anything when I complained I was told ‘ well I’m not sure what you want me to do ‘ after I put my foot down and said I have had 3 mouthfuls I can’t eat this my stomach turned and it wasn’t even hot, he then came back and said we will take this of the bill but your not welcome back to nonnas ‘ never had such bad customer service in my life.

Absolutely awful place, the customer service is disgusting the worst I’ve ever experienced. The manager is unacceptably rude to customers and has a horrible attitude. The food is extremely poor, came out so greasy and cold - I felt poorly the whole day after eating here. The staff in general are terrible, they stand around slagging customers off for no apparent reason for everybody to hear. I would not recommend this place to anybody and not sure why they think for one minute it’s okay to treat paying customers like they do.

Nonna's is not just a restaurant its an experience! The setting is rustic and romantic and was perfect for our date night. We were greeted by Eren, the manager, whom is an exceptional host. He made us feel welcome and at ease. He has that "like you always knew him" aura. I did not catch the name of the waitress but her customer service first class as well. Then onto the food, which does not disapoint! We both had the calamari, beautifully cooked inside with a crunchy exterior. I had the steak, if you're a steak lover you will not be disappointed! The meat is of a high calibre and the chef knows what he was doing! My wife had the pizza which did give food envy! Overall you can not and will not regret an evening at Nonna's. We booked the mega roast as we had heard such good things about it but we were disappointed in both the food and the service. We had to wait for drinks and by the time they came my husband had to ask for another as he was so thirsty he had finished it as soon as he got it. The mega roast was quickly brought to the table but the plates we had been given were cold. The board looked very nice but unfortunately the taste was not there. The roast potatoes tasted like they had been cooked time ago, no fluffy inside or crispy outside. The meat offered was also not the best and the gravy was thin and tasteless. The board had leaked onto the table and this was not cleaned up even after the table was cleared. All in all very disappointed.

Mentioned that it was my grandad’s birthday and the team here could not have made the lunch more special for him! He felt like a VIP and it made his day. Not to mention the food was out of the world! The profiteroles were for sure the best desert I’ve ever had. Can’t recommend enough!

Over-cooked roast swimming in waaay too salty gravy is just not appetising. On the contrary, it's a letdown. Even the bacon wrapped stuffing, as good as it sounded on the menu, was really hard and simply lacking in taste. Yorkshire pud and veggies were better, but I couldn't finish my meal.
