The best restaurants serving Italian food in East of England

My wife and I took our 4 kids here (ages 13, 11, 9 & 7) and we loved it! We were made feel welcome from the moment we entered the door. The food arrived exactly as ordered and pretty fast too. We are looking forward to our next visit.

The online menu was different from the menu in the restaurant. The mixed olives - 3 bowls were put on the table. We didn't order them, so I assumed they were free. No, they were NOT. The house red and white wine was really good, but £25 per bottle. My skate was delicious but absolutely swimming in butter. The seafood linguine was excellent, apparently. Would I go back? Yes, I would. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. No on street parking, though, until after 6 pm.

First time in this restaurant and absolutely enjoyed this experience. Manager and his team were 5*. Would definitely be going back. Very reasonably priced. Very good value for the money. Sue and Steve.

Great food, decor and atmosphere at this lovely authentic Italian restaurant. Would definitely visit again.

Ordered one simple pepperoni pizza online at 7.08pm with estimate of 45 mins for delivery. Chased at 8.20pm by phone and told it would be out within 10 mins. Finally arrived just after 9.00pm with excuse they were ‘busy’. Pizza itself had thin and soggy base. Won’t be using or recommending in future. Quite expensive too ~ £18.

Great family run restaurant, was able to accommodate a party of 8 at short notice. Everyone’s plate was cleared which is always a good sign. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for authentic Italian cuisine. Molto Bello!

Best coffee shop in town hands down. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere every time.

Beautiful food and atmosphere, and a really good midweek special (starter and mains for £14.95 I think? From a separate menu). And some very tasty cocktail pitchers 😉 Really really lovely evening. Second visit here and absolutely loved it. Thank you so much ❤️

Great service had really good time here, would recommend

Since the new management has taken over the staff don't seem to have much knowledge of the items that are stocked. The prices are also ridiculous, we bought some guanciale for a carbonara. There was no transparency on the pricing and only found out at the end that they were charging £69 per kg! Very overpriced for what we received.

Just to mention to anyone looking to book this first rate restaurant there is presently a closed for refurbishment sign with no other details as to a reopening date. Hope its not too long as its always well worth a visit.

Pizza was unbelievably yummy & fresh out the oven. Delivery was super fast too

Quality, consistency, presentation and service is always amazing. The food is always fresh and piping hot. Whenever we have family visiting this is the place we take them because the consistency is always on point.
