The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

My family and I ordered a just eat take-out this evening from The Spice Lounge. Delivery was slightly delayed as we live a bit of a distance away but the food arrived piping hot and oh my days was absolutely delicious. Best curry that we have eaten in a long time and well worth the money. Very highly recommended. Thank you so much 😊 Nicky, Gary and Tom

Living in Glastonbury we are between wells and street with lots of Indian restaurants to choose from we have tried them all with mixed reviews .. Indian Ocean as it’s now called is always the most reliable .. would highly recommend them … very authentic Indian food every time

Absolutely amazing meal last night. Great value for money as part of their Wednesday/Sunday offer. Service was excellent from the friendly and helpful team. We will be back!

I, my husband and son ordered a takeaway meal with three portions of korma. We requested one of the portions be nut free due to an allergy but was told this could not be accommodated despite explaining that I have been able to request this in the past. I gave up and ordered two portions for my husband and son. It was delivered speedily but we were disappointed to find that one of the portions had a black hair in it. I do not think we will be returning.

Best Indian cuisine in Kegworth. Must visit once. Hygiene, best customer service and best food in village. I’ll visit again

Wow - I rarely leave a review but the food and service were literally second to none! This is the place to go for a good Indian meal when in St Austell

Reservé una mesa temprano por la noche a mediados de semana y conseguí un stand encantador. Fuimos recibidos por Abs (frente de la casa) que nos atendió muy bien. Tuvimos poppadoms con una selección de chutneys para empezar seguidos de Pollo Balti ligeramente más caliente, Rey Gamba Balti y Rey Gamba Xacuti acompañados con 2 naans de ajo. Todos estaban deliciosos. Como bono, los comensales pueden tomar su propio alcohol. Está ocupado viernes y sábado, así que se recomienda reservar. También hacen servicio para llevar. Volveremos muy pronto!

This is one of our favourite restaurant, delicious food, excellent service and very friendly staff, popadon were warn and crispy, tandoori chicken was two legs not one. Chicken chat purée was delicious

Excellent food. Easily the best Indian restaurant in Shoreham, Lancing or Worthing. Great service for either eating in , delivery or take away. The fish curries are incredible!

Chicken water(korma)Chicken Tikka (water)Massala hunt the chicken luckily the rice was there to help with the flood of fluid worst ever chicken biriyani ever tasted and Beef Masman curry which has put me of Thai food for ever as so salty what a complete waste of money your better of going to the coop fridge aisle nice people but can’t cook sorry for the bad review but I think you should know very dissatisfied when writing this it still turns my stomach

Great food, friendly and helpful people. Excellent and authentic. Fantastic menu and some amazing unusual dishes to try. I tried the Cashew nut chicken - wonderful!

The food here is absolutely delicious, the best Indian food we've had in a long time. To start we shared a sheesh kebab & onion bhajis. The kebab was delicious & the bhajis huge, crispy & tasty. They didn't come with raita so I'd make sure to order some next time. Mains we had chicken tikka biryani & king prawn rasenger. Both were packed with flavour & we thoroughly enjoyed them. The naan is lovely & light. Service was really good & we had a really good evening, will definitely return.

I ordered food at 1845 and was told it would arrive in 30 minutes - the food arrived more than 90 minutes later close to 2030. The order was incomplete and the food was cold. The price quoted was £59 - I then received a call saying there would be an extra charge for delivery of £3 as I was out of area (despite my village being listed on their website). When the delivery arrived the driver demanded that the £3 be paid in cash. When I check this morning the charge to my card was £69. I have therefore paid £13 more than quoted for an order that was incomplete, late and cold. Not good.

Ordered Takeaways,came in reasonable time , My prawns where like rubber,chips where bit raw,partners mixed grill was very much charcoaled,rice cloggy,sons Chicken Tikka wrap soggy .sauces tasty,been in here numerous times to eat ,always been good,never again 40£ + for a takeaway of this standard,',not acceptable ".I'm not a person who gives bad reviews,tbh,rather never visit or order from the place again,but this isn't the first takeaway with a good reputation that's been dishimg out, what they think they can get away with,( including me) dya know why people don't complain, because they know you spit ect in the dishes U remburse them with,but hey ,we are only your wages,that's why we'd rather not return to your premises.
