Last night was fantastic! From the moment we walked in to when we left, Akki and the team were so attentive. We are big eaters to say the least and although my boys are only 10 and 6, they've got my appetite! To start we opted for 2 sharer platters the fish one and the meat one (samundar and rajasthani... I think) and a portion of the Garlic Lemon King Prawns (the missus really loved this). Then for mains we had to go for the family naan (garlic, chilli and coriander) I mean wow! it was big enough to wrap my baby easily! We ordered on recommendation and my word the flavours were on point! The aromas coming out were really tickling the senses. We had the Labadar, Chicken Jordi, Goa Garlic King Prawns, Salmon Delight and an Aroma Mix Grill, with Peshwari Rice, Pilau Rice and Tarka Dall and Saag Bajee. To finish we had Mango Kulfi, The Coconut Supreme, Latte and Espresso. I have to say the coffee is really good ! Better than most coffee shops! Once again, thank you so much Akki, you guys really made it a perfect night! We will definitely see you soon.

This is the best Indian take away for miles! Tasty home cooked taste and delivered with a smile. Can order online or by phone, pay either way or cash on delivery. I’ve used them since they opened a few years ago for delivered take away for family or solo. Generous, pleasant with excellent food.

Amazing - Akki was absolutely amazing taking us through the menu start to finish and so patient with us as we chose a prawn dish.. food is ten out of ten as is service you cannot go wrong thank you Akkis so much for making my birthday so special

The menu online looked great and I was excited to try some new things out, but the actual menu was smaller. Not the end of the world, but the food itself was also disappointing - we all had very dry meals, not as spicy as advertised, and it seemed odd to not at least be offered rice. Despite the many waiters, it also took a long time for the plates to be cleared. A lady also badly slipped over and it was left to the customers to help her while the staff stood around. Overall, just a little disappointing considering our high hopes.

The best curry house we’ve ever been to. Food was absolutely delicious and the staff are so pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely be returning!

Our first visit since before covid. Very very busy with both takeaways and eating in (Saturday night). Was surprised we couldn't order a glass of wine like before so had to pop into Co op next door. The staff were polite although under pressure. Our food was delicious. We first visited by reccomendation when it opened and it became our favourite Indian restaurant. However I think they need to decide whether to be a restaurant or a takeaway as they are too busy for both and service is unfortunately suffering.

Over 2 hours for delivery called three times regarding how long it will be, got blatant lies about it being on its way and that there was a mix up. Food wasn’t worth the wait. Won’t be ordering again

The friends we were with had said good things about Aroma, so we gave it a try with them. Place was very busy, good atmosphere, welcoming pleasant and helpful staff. Food was delivered timely without any undue waiting around. Having read some of the reviews posted here, I felt that most of their negative reviews were mainly about long waits for takeaway meals. The food was hot, tasty, and well presented. The only letdown is that you have to bring your own booze. It's not my first choice for a curry in the Solihull area but a close second. I would certainly eat here again.

They take your money advertise 75 mins for delivery then expect you to suffer whilst they take 2 hours 15 mins to deliver. Manager is rude and conditioned not to deal with customers in a decent way, they won’t offer compensation they just expect you to understand that they are very busy! Advertise the actual time on food delivery or don’t take peoples money. I told them to get lost and cooked a steak instead. There are better places now too, I would recommend a couple in Dorridge Deli Spice and Salem Bagh. Don’t go here they don’t deserve your business. 👍🏻

I had a chicken tikka dhansak My wife had a chicken tikka pathia. I would HIIIIIIGHLY recommend them both. Chicken literally fell apart in my mouth, and the flavors were insane. Iewis capaldi came here, so that says it all really doesn't it. 5*

Service was attentive and friendly on a busy mid-week night. Slightly alarmed not to be able to order alcohol - I’m used to this in some basic Asian restaurants but you don’t expect it in this area. Your can bring in alcohol from the convenience store next door and they will provide glasses and ice. The interior was pleasant - modern and quite stylish. Unfortunately the food was a little disappointing. Ordered a £20 special prawn dish (“prawns the size of lobsters”) - the prawns, while large, had very little flavour and hadn’t been marinated. The sauce was completely bland (I was expecting mild, not bland). A lamb Xacuti at £15 was better, with a richer sauce, but otherwise unremarkable. The peshwari naan was ridiculously sweet which spoiled what would have been a decent naan. We spent £45 on two poppadoms with pickles, two mains, one rice and one naan, with no drinks at all - so it was expensive.

I've visited Aroma a few times and enjoyed the food but after my last couple of experiences unfortunately I will never be returning. A few months back, me and my partner booked a table for a Saturday night, our booking was confirmed and we showed up at the restaurant five minutes before we were booked in only to find the place full. We spoke to a member of staff who said our table wouldn't be ready for another half an hour. We were annoyed but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and went somewhere else instead. Last weekend we booked a table for Saturday night for 8 o'clock, we even phoned up to confirm our table would actually be available at the time we booked and they said it definitely would be. When we got there at 8, once again the restaurant was full, people were queued up at the bar, they had obviously booked tables too. When we flagged down a member of staff he said it would be a half an hour wait for our table, when we complained he proceeded to act like it wasn't his problem and we should contact the management. We went to another restaurant instead and just so happened to bump into a group who were waiting in Aroma too and had booked a table, they commented what a shambles the place was. That's twice now Aroma have wasted our time by not honouring bookings. I don't understand why they would allow people to book when no tables are available? No matter how decent the food is the place is badly run and management clearly don't know how to run a restaurant. There are plenty of other decent curry restaurants in Knowle and Dorridge worth your time instead - do yourself a favour and give Aroma a miss.

My wife, myself, daughter and son in law paid a visit to Aroma in Bentley Heath last night June25th and must say we were mightily impressed, great service by friendly informative staff and the food that was served up was just superb, shall certainly be returning again in the not too distant future, thanks Aroma for a great night

Such a shame they lost there drinks licence. After a hot day I was provided with a menu and requested a couple a Cobra beers. I was told that I could bring my own! No wonder it was empty. I left immediately and went to Saleem Bagh (Dorridge - Station Road) instead. I was greeted with a loverly offering of Cobra beer and a great meal. Sad as Aroma is only 2 mins walk from home. I wonder what it will be in 18 months time.

Fabulous! Best curry we have had - moved here from Sutton Coldfield where there are many really good restaurants to eat; found it hard to find a good place to eat here but now we have discovered Aroma 🙏

Very poor food As subjective as taste is Piling every dish up with too many onions really ruined our meal. Every dish served was layered with onions cooked, uncooked and sprinkled everywhere . Very unappetising and disaster of a meal

We booked a table here and were seated upon arrival. Then we were ignored whilst staff chatted to customers and took an order from people who arrived after us. After 15 minutes waiting we left.

Whilst the food is lovely and certainly above average aroma let themselves down on their service. Delivery 1.5 hours late snd it’s not the first time. How can you get it so wrong.? Yes it’s a busy night but really. 3 phone calls to ask...

Personal and friendly service. Our chosen dishes were delicious and the poppadoms were the best that we have eaten in a restaurant. The takeaway service seemed quite busy but this did not affect our service. Will definitely be returning.

We ordered a oil free/butter free vegan take away recently. It was so delicious and completely oil free. The taste was still so flavoursome and so healthy!!! We ordered a selection of starters as main courses, vegetable rice, mushroom rice and a plain naan (again oil/butter free) delicious! It arrived promptly, at the time specified. Mohammed the owner was so helpful in organising our dishes. Thank you, we will be ordering again and recommending to friends.

Having read some of the recent negative reviews on Aroma i have to defend them. I had my usual Friday take out service. I make a large order which is split across 3 family's. The food as usual is top noche. No complaints at all from me. People moaning about delivery times maybe think about going along and collecting? The restaurant is clearly marked out inside for social distancing and there's ample parking outside. Still my favorite curry in Solihull and surrounding areas in my opinion.

Saturday 16th May, As usual the meal was excellent. However the delivery was 90 minutes late which is completely unacceptable. Add to that the meal was delivered to the wrong address, namely next door.Full marks for starting the delivery service but only if it can be managed correctly

Having recently moved to the area and always keen to try local establishments, we decided to order a lockdown takeaway from Aroma as we had read lots of positive reviews.We ordered online during the afternoon before the restaurant / takeaway opened as we had heard that there could be a long wait time for deliveries. We asked for a 6.30pm delivery but the food didn't arrive until 9.30pm, 3 hours after we had requested and 5 hours after we'd placed the order.We wouldn't have been at all bothered by the late delivery (we even tipped the driver) if we'd enjoyed the food, but it was horrendously bad.We ordered two different pakora starters, two mains, two rice and two naans.Both pakora were inedible.... they were damp and limp with a taste and texture as though they'd been sitting in their packaging sweating away for hours. Both went in the bin.One main was OK but the second was again inedible. My husband had requested it to be vindaloo hot but what he received had less spice than a slice of bread. The dish was dried out as if it had been cooked hours earlier and was extremely bland so that too went in the bin.Both naan breads were uncooked. Not under, but totally uncooked. There was raw dough throughout both and they, like the pakoras, had been sweating in their packaging for some time so they were limp. The bin benefitted.So, we spent a lot of money to eat some rice and share a main course.I don't like completing negative Trip Advisor reviews so I immediately completed the online feedback questionnaire outlining the problems and I stated that I would be happy to discuss the problems with the restaurant. I received an email from Mohammed Director the following morning stating that he would personally look into my complaint and he would contact me during that week to hear and address our concerns. I thought this was a nice touch and gave reassurance that the management team is keen to improve. But that was nearly four weeks ago and I've not had any contact from the restaurant.So, they like to give an impression that they've got good standards of customer service but they haven't. And the food really is horrendous. If this is a result of them struggling to meet high standards during lockdown, they would be better off closing and reopening when they are able to meet the demands. I can see from other recent reviews that our experience is not a one off so continuing to operate as they currently are is damaging their brand and any good reputation they might once have had.

We ordered a takeaway, was quoted 90min for delivery, which was already a long time to wait for a takeaway with two orders, but we accepted that given the circumstances with lockdown, things might take longer. Two hours later, nothing had arrived, so we called the restaurant and they were fundamentally rude. The person on the phone showed zero care for the fact they failed to deliver what they said they could as a service. As a senior leader in a large organisation, I am aghast at their approach to customer service and utter lack of regard for their own brand. Even if you think they do "the best curries in Solihull," I would strongly advise you to frequent somewhere that cares about their customers. If they'd just explained how tough things are and that they're doing their best, I would have accepted it, but I can't accept rudeness as a paying customer.

Probably the worst takeaway I have had in a very long time in the Solihull area. Words fail me! Chicken Tikka Massala-appalling. Chicken Chilli Massala-not much better. Tolerable Chicken Patia. Will be a long time before I think about ordering again.

This place has the best chief in the area by far - great variety of usual and unusual Indian dishes . We have been a few times with some very poor customer service experiences - once we had booked a table for 8 but they had given the table away by the time we had arrived ( on time!) but every few months we go back as the food is so good . This time given the Coronavirus situation we thought we would given them some busy as they were offering a delivery service in an attempt to keep themselves afloat - good for them ! We also thought what could go wrong from a customer service point of view when it was just a takeaway - how wrong we were ! So we ordered and paid on line ( good website and clear setup) I pre-ordered in the afternoon for a 7.30 delivery . 8.30 comes and goes - no sign of the curry. So we start to phone - no answer after about 8 attempts and 30 minutes. There was only one option - drive to the place and see what’s going on , This I did and i had plenty of company in the restaurant - it was full of people complaining and waiting for food. When my turn came to enquire about my food it was as if they were doing me a favour in supplying the food “sometime” - i was assured it would come eventually or i could wait with the others ! I went home and waited - the food did come eventually but by then we had lost all desire for it . Yes I know these are challenging times but it doesn’t take much to pick up a phone - but they choose not to - it doesn’t take much to close the website down if they cant cope -but they were still taking orders and it doesn’t take much to say sorry when they mess up - but they never did. I did provide feedback to the restaurant directly but as expected they never replied. So it you are in Knowle or Dorridge and fancy a takeaway in these troubling times - don’t place an order here ! As for the chef - i suggest you go to another restaurant nearby by as there much be 6 or 7 in the area - when you do please let me know as i love your cooking

Had a brilliant meal last night, delivered within 5 minutes of the stated time. 5 extra poppadoms with all the dips -- when I had only asked for 1! Very tasty fresh curry and naan, starter spot on, mushroom rice was packed full of flavour. Very pleased.

We usually rate Aroma but tonight it took over 4 hours for our food to arrive with absolutely no contact from the restaurant. We rang the restaurant several times but got no answer (we were told when we finally got through that the phones have been switched off for parts of the night) - when we managed to get through and spoke to someone he could not have cared less - when we asked for a refund they said we would have to come in to the restaurant to get it (not sure that is a valid reason for leaving the house when we are in lockdown!) despite having paid on a card! the food might be good but the customer service at the moment is shocking!

We went out for a Saturday night curry with our daughter her husband and his parents, it was the first time we we have used this curry house and what a treat . The place was busy and people were waiting , we were showed to our table after a short wait and started to look at the extensive menu. The drinks order was taken and after further debate we chose our dishes, a little time later the food was served and what a feast it was . Chit chat followed and the time flew bye to the point were last but one to leave the restaurant. I would recommend this place but suggest you book to avoid disappointment.

We have eaten in here and had excellent food,unfortunately we have now had 2 bad experiences ordering a takeaway-arrived after the 45 minute we were told and then waited another 45 minutes. No apolgies,no offer of a complimentary drink.We were not the only ones waiting a long time.And after the wait the food was nowhere near as good as in the restaurant. Whilst the reviews sound great I’d recommend to any one not to try to book after 8.30 big issue being they try to cram to many sittings and fail miserably we booked Saturday 8.30 only to be told rather rudely table was not ready but that was it we were left standing with one lady in our party being pregnant!!! Service fabulous lovely guys in there so genuine Food fabulous - my favourite is the Pathia my husbands is the Aroma mixed madras . Nice speciality menu too . Naan breads are huge and really tasty . Cosy atmosphere - love it there !

Second visit as good as the first. Fantastic mixed starter to share. Followed by 4 fantastic curries mine Lamb Sagwalla was one of the best I’ve ever had. The others were equally as good. With a lovely garlic nan bread. Bottle of white wine, couple of pints of cobra, coffee to finish.

We ordered a takeaway for a family Saturday night, we have had a takeaway before which was good but this time we ordered at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm delivery, it was an order for a family of four. At 8pm I tried to ring them to enquire were the order was never got through, was on the phone till 8.30pm when I got our daughter to give us a lift to the curry house but as we were leaving a car pulled up and the curry was delivered. Once we go it in and started to unpack and eat, the starters were cold, the main course had little meat and did not taste as good as they normally do. We also had the wrong naan breads.

Hi we ordered a takeaway at 7pm for a 7.45 pickup but when we arrived just before the pickup time we had to wait until 8.45 pm until it was given to us. We had no apologies and other guests who had ordered after us were served before us. Do not go to this appalling place.

Ordered food and was told it would take 1 hour. Gave the order taker my details and address. Over one and a half hours later there was no sign of the food. I called 12 times and was on hold for 20 minutes. When I finally got through I spoke to the order taker who told me his name was “Abbas” - he said he was busy and forgot to place the order - needless to say I have him a a mouthful 0/10

Are here last night with friends & was pleasantly surprised. Good atmosphere, very busy, and very attentive staff. Very prompt & efficient service by friendly, knowledgeable waiters. Good food & drinks were kept flowing. My tandoori king prawns were delicious & very well cooked. Would return.

I’ve been here a few times and whilst the food is generally good with excellent portion sizes the service is always slow.

I order a take away for the family, the website looked like it worked and took my order. I got to the restaurant, they made me wait 45 mins and then gave me another persons meal. The kids couldn’t eat the food and we had only the rice. Went to complain and they they shrugged their shoulders as if to say it was my fault! PATHETIC CHEEKY PENNY PINCHERS. No customer service and no sympathy. Never eating their again!

Great food and service when you eat in, we’ve been several times but would advise against their delivery option, we’ve now been waiting 2 hours for an order placed at 5pm, the website confirmed it would be with us within the hour I called to chase and was just told it’s dispatched but the guy had no idea when we would receive it, We only live 5 mins away so if we knew it was this much hassle I’d have just collected. There are so many other quality curry houses to choose from round here, not sure I’ll bother going back here, don’t normally leave reviews but the guy who answered the phone was really rude and has put me off going back.

The service here was attentive, discreet and of a high standard. The food was exquisite with ample portions. My partner was suddenly became quite poorly on a previous visit to this restaurant and the staff were so helpful and calm, which was greatly appreciated. I would let hesitate to recommend this restaurant as the food is delicious and the service perfect!

We’ve ate in this restaurant once and often have takeaways from here. The food is great value for money especially as you get 10% off the bill if you collect your order.

I took 3 colleagues here for dinner after work, it was early so not too busy. We were greeted by the staff and they told us about the specials. They have a great mix and match menu so you can Taylor to your taste. We started with popadums, and 2 mixed starters bothered were really good.

A large party of us came here, the drinks are extortionate prices eg £3 for soda water!!

A few of us went here for a meal one evening. I had highly recommended this restaurant and they did not let me down. Lovely friendly atmosphere, excellent food, very good value for money. Has to be the best Indian restaurant locally.

3rd time ordering a take away, seems to get longer each time. We live 1mile away and despite not being busy took 1h 45mins for a simple order. Nice inside if eating in or collect, but if want delivery there are many other local more reliable / quicker ones to choose from

Have been to the restaurant and had takeaways and nver been disappointed with quality and portion size.

Ordered for delivery over phone. Was told 1.5hrs which i thought was quite long but reasonable for a saturday night. However the food turned up 2 hours and 45 minutes later!! Which i refused to pay full price for and ended up paying £10 reluctantly. The food was nice but definitely had better. Not worth the wait in my opinion. Customer service was terrible when i tried to call and ask where my order was (when i finally got through to someone after 10 minutes on the phone).

Some of the best tasting Indian food I have eaten in the UK. Fresh tasting with herbs and spices and not the run of the mill thick generic sauces sometimes served elsewhere. The portions were also very generous.

Went to Aroma last year (2018) and was very impressed. Fantastic food, Super staff & service, however this visit was not up to my expectations. Although we booked for eight , the table was not ready and 2 diners had to be moved to allow tables to be rearranged. Staff left took and delivered our drinks order, but we had to wait some time to get them to take our food order. Restaurant was very busy from 8pm to 10pm but after this is was nearly empty. Take away orders are felt with at the bar in the restaurant meaning traffic through the restaurant is high and disturbing when your chatting.

food remains good, but dine in portions have got smaller and some dishes have had huge price rises in the past year. This place used to be very good value, but hiking up prices by 30% In some cases means that now it’s very over-priced for what it is. This is not an exaggeration -I have the menu from last year and main courses have rocketed in price. It is a shame for the guys who work there as I am sure this is driven by someone else’s greed. The location is a bit out of the way and they can’t really justify the prices they are now charging- some curries are now up to almost £14 without a rice or naan - from now on I’ll stick to places in the middle of Knowle or Dorridge where it’s easier to get to, the surrounding area atmosphere is better, where there are local pubs nearby and the food is just as good but cheaper. Oh - and one more thing - the hot towel that they gave me at the end of my meal made my hands stink -clearly it hadn’t been washed properly and made my hands smell like the towel had been used to clean a toilet. I was going to take my boss and his wife there next month - what a shame it’s been spoiled.

My first visit to this restaurant was highly disappointing. To begin with, as a group of eight, we were made to wait forty-five minutes for a table that was booked well in advance.

Highly recommend Aroma. Lovely meal and great service. Interior is stunning too! Will definitely be back !

We visited one weekend but the guys were too busy with the takeaway service which meant customers on seats were left with extremely poor service.

My wife and I have just returned from one of the best Indian meals we have experienced. The food was excellent, the service exceptional, the atmosphere just perfect. I would recommend to anyone in Solihull looking for a great meal to look at Aroma. Thank you to all the staff at Aroma.

My daughter, who is an infrequent visitor the the West Midlands, wanted a ‘real’ curry. No brainer for us to all go to Aroma. The food was all freshly cooked, delicious and the service is good. Crispy hot poppadoms with a large selection of relishes followed by a tandoori mixed grill, nutty special and lamb boona, (all good size portions), accompanied by a massive family garlic nan bread. The side orders of sag alloo, chuckles and rice were also good size portions. This is our local curry of choice. Highly recommend.

Came here with friends to celebrate house move. Starters chosen were Onion Bhajis and a Tandoori mixed kebab. All were delicious. Mains were King Prawn Bhuna, Chicken Tikka Balti & Chicken Bhuna. All delicious along with the garlic naan. Drinks were good too and great service. My favourite place for a curry.

Aroma excels in every way. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, the staff are extremely friendly and attentive and the food is superb. My wife tends to stick to the chicken tikka masala which she thoroughly enjoys while I prefer the garlic chilli chicken, spicier and very possibly the best curry I’ve tasted. I’d recommend reserving a table whatever time you plan to eat as the restaurant through it’s obvious quality is always busy. Enjoy!

Recommended by a friend who knows I’m very fussy when it comes to food and especially indian food. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful on the phone. I ordered methi gosht, chicken chilli massala, Parsi Murg and sides of bhindi, sag and brinjal with a chappatti.

I’m gutted. This was the best ever curry house. I echo one of the other recent reviews. My curry for the first time ever was really runny and watery, only one of them though. The other was lovely. It did take 1.5hrs to arrive too and I ordered dead on 5 as soon as they opened.

Visited here for a family birthday. We booked it for a Saturday night, when we arrived they were annoyed with us as they said we had booked it for 1/2 hour earlier (we hadn’t, and customer is always right?!).

Their rice was so we called and were assured they would be back with the full order in 15 mins ...45 mins later it arrives adults have finished theirs kids tired of waiting only to be charged because the operator didn’t hear/write the original order correctly. Dumbfounded at the lack of customer service. So will not return to the restaurant, orders delivery or recommend again ruined our meal.

Nicely appointed small restaurant so gets very noisy when full. Lovely staff but slow service. Ordered bottle prosecco.. Was a very cheap copy.. Not nice and no suitable glassware for this. My tandoori fish was spicy slime.. Left most of it and my friend ordered a mild tandoori mix which was hotter than a madras!! That was also left. Rice and Naans were nice... Very disappointed as we were looking forward to trying this restaurant.

Small clean tidy restaurant, food extremely good. However, waiting for your mains from after the starters was ages (over 45 mins), in fact that long I had forgotten what curry that I had ordered.

We have a take away most weekends and sit down in the restaurant on average once a month. The quality and quantity of the food is always excellent, however, some dishes like the Jordi special are better in the restaurant when they are served in the sizzling skillet rather than in a take away container. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. It does get really busy on a Friday and Saturday so you do need to book in advance.

I go here quite often as it’s walking distance from home and I’m never disappointed with the food. Let’s be honest, it isn’t Indian food... It’s Bangladeshi dishes that English people want to buy - all the usual dishes...

I reviewed Aroma when it first opened. It has established itself and overcome all the initial teething problems I wrote about in my first review. We are now regulars and visit about once a month. The food is excellent with a wide choice, including all the traditional offerings anyone living in these parts expects at an Indian, with some chefs specials. I like the option to pick your base dish e.g. balti and then select the meat/fish and vegetables you want included. The naan breads are enormous! Unless you have a very big appetite, one between two people is more than enough. The service is very friendly and efficient. If you want to go at peak times it is best to book ahead as it does get very busy. Highly recommended.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a nice atmosphere. The Staff were very pleasant and very helpful. We ordered Lamb Chops and Chicken Puree for starters followed by Chicken Shashlik and Tandoori Spice Curry, Mushroom Rice and 2 Naans. The waiter advised us to have 1 Naan and order another if we needed it. We only needed 1 Naan. The portions were large, and everything was delicious. We like to have a break between starters and main meals and this was not a problem. We will be returning and would recommend this restaurant.

Having had a great experience the last time we used the Aroma for delivery service, expectations were high.

Aroma is not the biggest curry house in the area but it is the beyond miles. Really excellent food, great service with friendly staff and the takeaway food is just as good with good portio sizes. The menu offers dishes that are not usually seen elsewhere giving something a bit different if you wat it or you can stick with the old favourites. Order take always early though to avoid disappointment as they can get really busy at times.

With two self-confessed curry eaters who had not been before and they were impressed, with the excellent food. My second visit and this time the service was much better. Portions are large. It helped it was a mid-week visit and the place was half-full. Best to book ahead.

The waiters had a horrible attitude towards paying guests never smiled, rude and if you tried to attract there attention they would totally ignore you, waited ages for drinks and food

Went here for some lovely food. Was quite busy when we got in. Asked for a table for 2 and was very abruptly told I only have this one. Which was right by the door but it was absolutely fine.

I went to this restaurant with a group of friends last Friday evening.

My grandson’s 6th Birthday prompted this visit (he likes curry). The staff could not have been more helpful to the eight of us round one table. The restaurant was practically full during our stay, yet we just about got all our meals together and in a reasonable time. When the food arrived it was delicious and we will definitely be going back to sample other dishes.

Cant believe I've only been here twice, took my sister in law & a family friend for there first visit ,excellent food ,served by very friendly staff ,no desire to rush you between courses ,beware though the naans are big ,i would definitely recommend this curry house

We have now visited Aroma at least a dozen times and it is by far our favourite Indian Restaurant in Solihull, the food is cooked fresh and hot, and yes when it gets busy you may have to wait a while, but the end result is well worth it! My Chicken Tikka Madras Balti was just brilliant!! Well done Aroma, definitely recommend and re Visit!!

Gorgeous authentic Indian food - extremely fresh and tasty. Service is great - attentive and professional. We had the poppadoms and a couple of baltis with a huge naan - that was more than enough! Starters not required. Genuinely great food.

We have visited on numerous occasions and never had a bad meal in fact we have changed our ‘go to’ Indian delivery to Aroma after finding out they deliver! Booking is a must as are the massive naan breads! Well worth a visit for a great curry and kid friendly too!

Visited with Work Collegues as a bit of a Xmas meal. The Aroma is a small cosy restaurant with brilliant friendly staff and fantastic food, none of us had a bad thing to say about our meals, all enjoyed what we had chosen. I had the Tandoori Sizzler Mix the best Indian Main course I have ever had. I would definitely visit again.

The restaurant is only small and it was packed. Always a good sign. Although it was busy, the service was fantastic and totally faultless.

Consistently excellent food! We've eaten in and had deliveries a number of times. Great on the delivery side and even sorted out a problem with a missing side really quickly.

Really excellent food, my husband and I had been warned about the large portion size so only ordered a main, a side and a naan to share and still waddled out totally full. Will definitely be going back when next in the area
