Such brilliant food, Cas never fails to produce fantastic food all five of us agreed it is the best Indian food around, can't wait to return.

We regularly visit Brixham and all ways look forward to eating at the Indian Thia. I had aThia red beef curry and my wife had a sweet and sour veg stir fry rice and noodles. Both meals were extremely tasty and we will be back next time.

Take away chicken passanda had only about 6 very small cubes of chicken swimming in a container of watery ‘sauce’. Poor quality, insufficient quantity and not an experience I would recommend to anyone

Service was very very slow . We were put on a cramped table . When our main meals eventually arrived (we ordered 7 different dishes ) all of them apart from the mushrooms tasted the same. Very disappointing.

We were down for the Pirates Festival ,we then realised there were problems with the water, but had such a good time in Brixham we decided to stay on. We decided to order a delivery from Indian Thai for a special occasion, delivery was ok, but when we started to eat our meal we nearly choked on two black hairs.When we phoned Indian Thai they were really rude . We have now returned home and the entire family have been violently ill, we don't know if it was the food we ate because Indian Thai was the only takeaway we ordered from and when we we were vin Brixham we were very careful and only had bottled water.

Really great food very much enjoyed. Would highly recommend you visit this restaurant when staying in Brixham. Better than most Thai meals I ate in Thailand!

Had a chicken Bhuna pilau rice and a nan bread . So enjoyed it , best curry for a while . Watched the chef make the nan bread from fresh . Nan a bit doughy but tasted fantastic . Sit in or takeaway well worth a visit if in the area

Just popped in here for a takeaway. Had the fortune to wait while our meal was being prepared and had a view of the kitchen from where i was sat and witnessed a young girl working there , with the longest false nails I've ever seen, flicking cooked rice from her spoon with her forementioned nails into our takeaway box . As you can imagine. I cancelled the order, pointed out to the girl and the chef that this was unacceptable and completely disgusting. Full refund was issued. I would avoided this establishment if I where you

As a regular visitor to Brixham I always visit the Indian Thia at least once to eat in or take away. Last night I had Beef Shalimar and pilau rice which was really tasty and I can highly recommend

So pleased to find this really fabulous Indian/Thai here in Brixham. So good we returned on our last night. Food is most definitely cooked to order so don’t expect it to come out in seconds, but certainly very fresh, very hot and very tasty! You may need to book, the restaurant is quite small but the nice touch is being able to see chef at work. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and bonus is you bring your own wine (corkage £1.50 per person) which I think is acceptable given the price of wines in most restaurants. There is a Tesco around the corner open late to pick up beer or wine if you’ve forgotten!They also have a takeaway service (The restaurant not Tesco) so enjoy

Had a takeaway, Chicken Tikka Madras and Chicken Dansak, both were spot on for us as usual. Indian Thai always gets the taste right for us, and seems to be the only one in the bay that puts pineapple in the dansak, which is the correct way to serve it (hot, sweet & sour with pineapple).

Food was bland, masked with an over intensive heat. Naan was meagerly stuffed. For BIR style food, was my worst experience. Nothing like what a BIR restaurant should be.

The food here is excellent.However there are some extra charges- 10 %service charge, corkage £1.50 per item and minimum £12.50 per person charge for food. A little disappointed that these are add ons as the quality,taste and ambience very good.

I'd agree with some of the other reviews that the outside of Indian & Thai is a bit plain, but what cracking food! Small restaurant (18 seats I think) but has a big viewing hatch into the kitchen, which I always love to see, and everything cooked in a sensible time to order. I had Brixham Monkfish Thai Dry Curry. Oh yes. Oh yes indeed. BYOB with sensible corkage fee. 4 adults ate, with starters, for £100 all in Book on busy tines I would think.

Sampled both Indian and Thai from this menu. At first I expected one or the other not to be that good (you're either a Thai restaurant or you're an Indian one) but this place pulls off both.

Visited here on Bank Holiday Monday and had a great Thai meal. At first glance the decor is a little basic but friendly staff and accommodating. I had a red Thai curry with noodles and no problem to make it veggie/vegan and my husband had the mixed seafood dry curry both were delicious.

Booked for the 8pm sitting, ordered chicken massaman, chicken madras rice and all the trimmings poppadoms and naan bread... amazing taste. Cooked well and beautiful. Massaman amazing taste just too hot for my palate. Fair play to them they awarded us for the criticism. We however tipped to compensate. Highly recommend.

The food and service was very good. I especially liked the Thai Chicken Basil, ginger chilli dish, it was excellent. My wife’s curry was just the right balance of flavour and heat and the naan bread was great. A really great choice in Brixham.

Ordered 3 dishes; A Thai stir fry, with nice crisp vegetables and very tasty lean beef, like I asked for. This was great. Indian dishes, less successful; Monk Fish Massele, now this wasn't great for 2 reasons - was inedibly hot and secondly their was almost no fish in it! Second dish was a Lamb Massela, this was really tasty and mild for my old parents but the lamb was way too tough so that was disappointing - basically they only ate the sauce and rice as consequence. So, hit and miss. I would anticipate the offer of one free dish next time we visit as a compensation because £35 is a lot when half the meal wan't up to expectation. I would however eat there again, I think we were unlucky.

We went to this restaurant last Monday the 16/03/2020 there were 4 adults in our party we had an excellent meal in this restaurant this is the second time my wife and I have visited here we were here last October and had such a lovely meal that we decided that we would go back next time we were in Brixham so here we are this time with our daughter and her boyfriend with us we all had the platter meals my wife and daughter had the Indian selection and we had the meat selection both were fantastic for taste and value for money we would highly recommend this restaurant if you fancy a good curry while your in Brixham we are hopefully going back down there in October and will definitely be going in for another great meal

I visited on Saturday, there were 4 of us. We all had a starter and a main we loved it that much we stayed for dessert! The thing I love about this place is you can take your own alcohol in which I think it’s great for only £1.50 per person I can even take my favourite gin. I would usually only eat a creamy curry but this is the only place I’ll ever have something else, no other Indian I’ve been to seems to taste the same. The staff are very efficient and nothing is too much trouble. The small amount of tables it holds gives the cosy welcoming feeling which to me is a lot better than a huge restaurant when you get forgotten by staff. I would definitely recommend a visit here if you’re a local or on holiday it’ll certainly be your go to Indian restaurant!

5 of us had a meal and what a choice the food was to die for the service was A1. If you visit Brixham you won't be disappointed with this restaurant.

This has to be the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had the (dis)pleasure to order! We ordered 2 chicken tikka masala’s and I can only describe them as a bright red tomato type sauce, that was tasteless (no curry flavours whatsoever), runny and sweet! It was a treat for my mum and I wish I had picked up the cheaper version from Sainsbury’s of which we both rate. I had looked at a number of reviews for Indian takeaways in Brixham and this was probably the most positive. What a joke! Do not risk ordering from here.

Visited here on our holiday and the food was absolutely beautiful, especially the Thai! Recommend the Thai red curry. The staff are great and the manager clearly loves his little restaurant and rightly so! 100% will return if I visit the area again.

Cannot fault this lovely restaurant. It is small, only around 20 covers, but that means it's a warm and personable place to spend your evening. Very welcoming! The front of house and kitchen staff are clearly a happy bunch and that makes all the difference to us as customers. The kitchen is open, so we can all see and hear where the magic happens! I tried their hottest dish - the Phaal - and it was fantastic. It was great to hear that our waitress even tried some of my Phaal herself (Very brave, considering she is normally a Korma girl! I'm not sure she was ready for it!). You can get Indian and Thai dishes here - why don't more restaurants do this? I'll never know! Full marks to this fab place in one the most special places in England- beautiful Brixham!

As a regular visitor to Brixham we always go here when in town. My wife and I love both the Thai and Indian dishes. Being able to take your own drinks makes for a reasonably priced meal. We think Kas is a great chef and my favourite is his massaman curry

Horrible . Starters were a solidified oily mass , Main courses were bland and chicken/beef vile, we all ordered different main dishes but all tasted the same.
