Excellent food. Easily the best Indian restaurant in Shoreham, Lancing or Worthing. Great service for either eating in , delivery or take away. The fish curries are incredible!

Booked the first table fir 5pm the first of the evening.Food okay but we had a 1 year old and a 3 year old with our family. Absolutely no facilities for children No highchairs no changing facilities and no disabled facilities. Such a shame we had to eat our meal with a one year old and toddler on our knees which was stressful - disabled or baby changing is not catered for which really spoilt the evening this really is not acceptble it is 2024!

Went here with a couple of friends on a Wednesday evening. They do a set meal for £20 - starter, main, side and rice or naan. Food was plentiful and was very nice. My Chilli chicken main was spot on. Staff were polite and efficient and the place was packed when we left. Five stars for me

Curry ok - thought I was in an office! Went with a friend - hadn’t been for a few years. Very disappointed with the decor. Nothing nice looking - no table cloths on tables - looked like we were sitting in an office. Nothing like their photos. Very noisy in there too. Staff were friends and helpful. Curry was ok - I’ve had better from the takeaway in Crabtree Lane - so will stick with that. Won’t b going back.

We came for Mother's Day dinner. Staff were so lovely service was so quick. We loved food and was so good for price. Was really good.

Tried to order a home delivery as a single person only to be told I had to spend £20.00 plus. This isn’t the first time I have had issues with Naaz last time was cold food on arrival. Not the best Indian restaurant around lancing. Won’t be getting my business ever again.

ordered a chicken tandoori and got given a gallon of wet poo smh my head poop deli honestly but there ya go mate i only payed £300 so it was worth it in the end

Tried the Naaz a few years back but wasn't impressed. Thought I'd try again based on good reviews but can't understand where they came from. Maybe I've been unlucky with a one off bad curry. Delivery was earlier than expected which is good, however, the food was cold. The rice was actually fridge cold which is a real worry. The naan was in a foil bag but was stone cold so must have been put in cold. The onion bhajis were cold, chewy, bland and no mint sauce that you usually get. Not nice and crispy like they should be. The curry, cold and very bland. I ordered chicken chili masala but no fresh chillis in it whatsoever as described, just peppers and onions and a pile of chilli powder. Not really any other spices so no taste, worst I've ever had. Very expensive as well and no free poppadom like you get from every other takeaway out there. Lesson learned, will not order from the Naaz again.

This is a stand out indian restaurant. We are here on Sunday evening and have ordered the £17.50 special deal OUTSTANDING value for money In these difficult times we need more restaurants like Naaz to help us through

I have eating at this lovely restaurant for the last 15 years. It never fails to provide glorious good quality and delicious food. The spices are perfectly balanced and fresh. The staff are always attentive and friendly. I always look forward to my next visit.

Have seen better food in a pet dogs bowl and had better tasting, tastless rice cakes. Muck. Dont let your guard down and end up paying twice. Payed by card over the phone for two deliveries at two addresses. One adress was charged cash at the door after being told that it hadn't been payed for by the driver.

If I could leave a review of zero I would. Ordered a takeaway online via their own website at 5pm. Received an email confirmation stating delivery would be at 17.59. At 18.15 I called to find to out where it was, they took no information from me but it was busy and a Friday night, and it would be 5 mins. At 18.30 we called again, to be told it would be 5 mins again, and was assured it wouldn’t be cold, that there was traffic. There was no traffic, Sat Nav said it would take 3 mins to deliver from the restaurant. At 18.40 we called again, as 5 mins had been and gone, that we were lied to - but they don’t lie to customers. I went out to the car park to find the driver. Thinking about it I should have checked it then and there and refused delivery but hindsight is a wonderful thing. The food was stone cold. My mum has terminal cancer and reheating rice is dangerous at the best of times - also we paid for a hot meal. Spent most of last night messaging on Facebook to be offered a paltry £15 off a £60 bill that was inedible and we had to collect food elsewhere. He invited us down to the restaurant to discuss it, and then proceed to talk all over us. The manager was rude, aggressive and sexist. It’s his business and he can run it how he likes. He doesn’t need to give refunds and apparently bad reviews don’t affect his business, so ‘tell who we want’ Even one of his delivery drivers said we should have been offered at least 50% and from reading other poor reviews this seems to be the norm? Yet we were offered a smaller sum. Customer service clearly lacking.

We booked for 6pm to enjoy a meal for 4 with friends. The food and service appeared fine though my wife received a 250ml glass of wine when she asked for 175ml. We were told she'd be charged for 175, sounded ok but close to 8pm we were all ushered out fairly promptly for their next sitting and were charged for 250ml, with little time to sort bill properly. We left feeling disappointed over the bill and being rushed at end of our meal as we did want to finish with a coffe but couldn't! Experience somewhat marred, wont be returning soon.

Great friendly restaurant/takeaway owner very nice guy. Good food set meals great option. Good choice of larger.

Have just received our delivery. It was cold and an item missing. When I called to tell them they said I didn’t ask for it. When I challenged them to say I had asked for it and was repeated back to me they said they hadn’t have any! Customer service at its worst. Will not be using again.

We have ordered from naaz a few times but after tonight’s issues will not be going back!!! Was told after we paid that delivery would be an hour to an hour and a half. We were will to wait as it was our anniversary and looking forward to a nice curry! After one hour 40 mins called them to be told “we told you it would be upto an hour and 45” (which they didn’t) was very unapologetic, and said well we can refund you but will take upto 5 days! We then said how long will it be and he said it’s on the way and will be there within 10 mins. 25 minutes passed and still no delivery so we called again and spoke to a nice gentleman who was very apologetic and said they would take 50% off next bill and that delivery was in its way as it left the kitchen 10 mins ago! (So clearly rude and unpleasant man before then was lying!) Order turned up was cold, sauces that were ordered were missing, egg fried rice sent instead of pilau rice like stated on menu (and husband allergic to egg!!), wrong naan and not correct prawn dish! Called them again and there response was “what do you want us to do about it, we can give you a refund” and then transpired they could only refund 50% of it as we had received the food!!! Even though could have caused a massive problem if my husband hadn’t of noticed and ate the egg fried rice!!! And which by the way had egg shell in it!!! I’m not one to usually write a review, however tonight’s ruby was one of the best I’ve ever had, I only get curry’s from naaz and for the most part they are very good, but tonight… incredible.

Used to eat here a lot, visited again recently and disappointed. Food was average, lots of meat and onions, no other veg? No real spice added except a couple of raw chillies at end. Sides were nice. Service very slow, but it was busy. Lost some of its friendliness and ambience. Bit sterile now. Will try again, hopefully just a one off.

We’re visiting from Weymouth and stumbled across this lovely family run Indian restaurant. Food was amazing as was the staff. We had a starter and main and both were delicious. The staff were attentive and couldn’t do more for us. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone who loves Indian cuisine. We will definitely be visiting again when/if we’re back in the area.

Hi we went tonight and were pleasantly surprised. The food portions were big and so tasty. The staff were very nice and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and we will be visiting again sometime soon.

Had the best curry for a very long time, and the last one was Nazz anyway.Went out with family 6 of us ,there were empty dishes, everything was so tasty atmosphere in there was good as it was packed never seen so much food on our table and only leftovers was 2 onion bhjhis that were taken home .What a great meal loved it.

Picked up an order but when i got it home the rice was missing. Phoned them and they could not have been nicer. They sent the missing rice round to me with about 5 to 10 minutes. Mistakes happen but its how they deal with the mistake that counts. Delivery driver extremely nice about it too. Food was deliscious

I last reviewed the Naaz in 2013, but I thought I would write an up to date one to say how happy we are that the Naaz continues to provide excellent meals.We normally eat out at the Naaz once a month or thereabouts and have ordered monthly takeaways from the Naaz during lockdown. They have all been good, delivered politely and on time.We've been so grateful for this reminder of normality during a miserable year and look forward to eating out at the Naaz again in due course.

I have tried the naaz a few times now and i have to say the food is superb my jalfrezi that i ordered recently was full of flavour and had the right amount of heat too. can't recommend them enough.

Ive used this restaurant for most of my adult life and always had excellent service and food.We ordered a takeaway which turned up cold, there were items missing from our delivery, we phoned to report this and were told they would ger the missing items straight out to us. However they never arrived and the food we had ordered was horrible and i wouldn't have fed to a dog. This is the second takeaway in a row we have had from this restaurant that has been crap and had item's missing from the order. Lost customer i won't be using them again.

Food was delicious, staff lovely. Food turned up promptly. Have tried all the local curry places and this is definitely the best one. Will be ordering from here again.

Having ordered a meal today, new years eve, for 19.00. Very disappointed that it arrived at 20.30 after several phone calls, when it arrived it was cold and was told that we could have either 20% off our next order or re-cook the food with a substantial wait. Apparently another business had shut and Naaz had accepted more orders than they could comfortably deliver. Profits outweigh customer service, very disappointed. Items were missing from the order but couldn't be bothered to phone again and go through the excuses again. Won't be back which is sad as until now we loved the food.

Well we've eaten alot of curries and this is by far the BEST in the south. Lovely fresh food, good service and really nice polite girl delivered it to us. Been here regularly every week and will recommend it to everyone. Brilliant restaurant and take away. Thanks Naaz.

Friday night treat takeaway for us, x2 currys and side dishes for £45, 45 min wait all ok. Food arrived at best like warm, onion bhajees waste of time as so over cooked and currys very average, also no onion salad, sauces or couple of poppodums thrown in as every other curry house in the land do, when my partner rang the response was " nothing free around here mate" 10% off next time. Customer service is as important as the food in this game, NEXT TIME will be back to the prithi.......

Congealed and lukewarm food arrived after a two hour wait. Our complaint was met with an unhelpful attitude (this having spent thousands on their takeaways over the past fifteen years or so). Offered 20% off our next order!!Asked for a refund”we don’t give refunds for food on a Saturday”.Told “we’ll call you back” and I am still waiting. This is the don’t care attitude of a business that is doing well and can afford to lose custom.

Have been eating at Naaz for years and to date been mostly good, but have to say take always are getting worse. Last takeaway at weekend was the worst, burnt onion bargee and the nann bread plain dry cold and tasteless, taking into consideration we ordered one garlic and one cheese, they forgot to add it.Leaving on a positive, first time ordered butter chicken that was nice. Needs to improve!

This place used to be really nice but the food tastes bland, despite ordering two different dishes both taste the same. Our last meal wasnt great but thought we'd try again but it was the same! Not going back

We love their food and have eaten it for years now. At the time of writing we have been waiting one and three quarter hours when we were told it would take 45 minutes to an hour. Such a long additional wait for a delivery is unacceptable and an apology for the lateness would have been gratefully received especially as we are frequent customers. It was not forthcoming. Nor was a goodwill gesture. Too popular? Hence the two ‘star’ review for service.

Fantastic restaurant. Food amazing. Staff always friendly. Good hygiene in place. The food never disappoints. Good portions too. If you don’t like it too spicy they will make it special for your taste. We always look forward to visiting there.

Had a very nice meal food was really good and plenty of it. Staff were excellent and friendly. Very disappointed that you cannot have the government 50 percent discount on the set menu. We were told before we ordered, but I don’t understand why as government refunds £10 per person. I was told it was because set meal is cheap anyway, mc Donald’s is cheap but they still give the discount??

We came to take advantage of the government deal.The place itself needs a good refurb. There is a fridge in the dining space along with boxes, storage etc. The furniture and carpet/walls is out of date and dining space is small.Dinner was good but pretty typical british/Indian curry. The menu was very long with every dish under the sun but that's probably because it was the take out menu.Service was good and fine although one thing we ordered did come much later than expected and by the time it came we'd already eaten most of our food so had to take that bit home. Generally it's okay restaurant, but outdated with typical takeaway food. Please someone do something about the fish tank as well. They look so sad in there.

This is the first time I have visited Naaz. The food was exceptional, I had a Lamb Jalfrazi and it was superb. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We will definitely be revisiting very soon. Great spot in Lancing.

Takeaway we ordered we couldn’t eat as all the chicken was too tough so we binned it. When we complained initially we were told we would receive only 10% discount and then when I said I didn’t think this was fair £25 was given off another takeaway meal. We were told when we ring up again let them know we had an issue with the tough meat...why? I thought to myself... does this mean tough meat Is being cooked unless specified? When we ordered this free meal and collected it we were told by the manager “ we should have told him this was a free meal” why I ask myself? Would that mean the quality or quantity of food would be different? Why was it that important? Makes me very suspicious and quite frankly I was not happy with the managers abruptness seen as it was not our fault in the first place the food was like that! Food was average nothing more on that takeaway and really poor customer service. We have been regular customers with Naaz for many years but I’m sad to say no more now.

The best Indian restaurant around. Lovely food served by friendly people. Great taste, the chef never disappoints. Personal favourites include golda chingri and garlic chilli chicken!

Went here last night (tuesday) and thought we would give it a go as part of the eat out scheme.I eat a lot of curries and I found this to be of very poor/low quality. I had a lamb dansak and the lamb was dry, dansak sauce was bland and overall just very average.Now to my biggest gripe, the restaurant confirmed that they were part of the eat out scheme (50% off), however they are not offering this on the set menu. There is absoloutey no reason for the discount not to be offered on the set menu as its claimed back via the government. In my opinion there is something odd going on in relation to that, supported by the fact that the bill was hand written. Make of that what you will

This has always been our favourite takeaway and restaurant but have been disappointed the last two time’s we have ordered takeaway from The Naaz. The food took an hour and a half to arrive and was cold and the meat was dry. Was also charged more than the prices on the menu.. normally don’t mind paying their expensive prices but not for cold and overcooked food.

We ordered a meal for 7 friends for takeaway. When the order arrived it was wrong. However this happens everywhere occasionally and a business will usually either refund the missing items or redeliver. However at naaz they said they forgot to write down our order and when they brought the missing items that hadn’t shown up we were made to pay for the items. The delivery driver threatened to walk away with this missing items when we questioned why we had to pay for the restaurants mistake. This has ruined our opinions on the restaurant and we will be choosing somewhere else next time.

Since when do customers have to pay twice to get the food they have ordered? Paid over the phone, when the order arrived items missing. Delivery driver turns up again with the missing items and wants paying. I will be contacting West Sussex CC Trading Standards. Night time robbery! Avoid!

I have been using Naaz for many years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. I always have a takeaway and the person who delivers is always polite. Whenever I phone to order one for me and my family they are always very helpful. I would definitely highly recommend this restaurant for a takeaway. However I have never visited the restaurant so cannot comment about it.

We had another wonderful meal from the guys at Naaz’s. They always serve great quality tasty food we usually eat in the restaurant & was I craving one of there delicious curries , it’s the best curry house in area & I think great value for money, keep up great work guys

Always amazing food & the staff are so lovely. Delivery is also always so quick. They kindly gave us a bottle of lemonade tonight with our delivery as they know I am a nurse! I couldn’t recommend them more.

After moving to Shoreham 3yrs ago I struggled with the two Indian restaurants there. Someone recommended the Naaz to us. When I first arrived I noticed the decor was a bit tired but the food made up for it. I was impressed that this place didnt seem to be the 'one pot sauce' kind of Indian restaurant where every dish tastes almost identical and bland. The food here is excellent and we have become regulars visiting at least every month. The menu in the week (Mon - Thur) gives you a starter, main, rice and side dish for something like £17 each (I think) and is great value for money. A nice touch is they often offer a Bailey's or brandy complimentary, when you receive your bill...such a nice touch.The service is friendly and nice to see the same staff there.

Another great night at the NAAZ . Great food and the usual friendly service. Great value for money from the meal deal, any starter, main and side dish.

Lovely! Brilliant Christmas meal! We came here for our Christmas lunch and it was delicious! We would have given it 5*, but the deserts should be dropped! They are not very good , but the curry was great!

This is one of the best Indian restaurants i have eaten in. Have eaten here many times in the past, never had a bad meal. Great value for money. Staff are always very polite and friendly, good atmosphere. Will be going back over the Christmas. This place is always busy so would recommend booking in advance.

The food here is not bad but the condition of the toilets is something else, covered in pee with doors that well, you have to see to believe!!!

Visited the Naaz with a group of friends. It was a Tuesday evening and was fairly busy for a Tuesday. The staff couldn’t do enough to ensure our evening went well. The food was fantastic. The portion sizes were large and we all had containers given to us by the restaurant to take the rest home. This really is a hidden gem , with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and wonderful food.. I moved to Lancing 18 months ago and with Indian being my favorite food, I found a real gem in Nazz. Three friends from Surrey alnd I meet for a curry once a month and they all now want to eat at Nazz telling me it is the best curry they have had. Staff are very friendly but not intrusive when you are eating. Recommend to all.

The Naaz is a favourite Indian restaurant in Lancing. The food is flavourful and plentiful and the prices are reasonable. The staff make this place wonderful. Always polite and friendly, quick to learn names and faces so that customers feel at home and valued.

Probably Bangla Desh or Pakistan, like most 'Indians' in Lancing and definitely Hal Al (try asking for a pork curry).

We had lunch here today and would thoroughly recommend it to anybody and everybody. The food is excellent, cooked to perfection and the staff are friendly and attentive.

This is a regular for us and the food is usually really good. The staff are on the whole friendly. It's usually better if you know what you like as the explanations of the different dishes doesn't always leave you much the wiser.

Had a takeaway it was lovely best curry we have had for a long time we always loved Indian food then we had a bad one from a restaurant in Worthing and I was so poorly it put us off for about a year but naaz has restored our faith absolutley lovely thankyou .

We had lunch here recently and I can honestly say it was the best curry I have had for a very long time. The food was beautifully cooked and the taste with the spices was a taste bud sensation. We will return!

Enjoyed a take away at the weekend with friends. Easy to order tho their card machine was out of action and we had to scratch around for cash, Im sure by now they have sorted this problem. Food was plentiful and tasty. The delivery man had problems finding my house. I was surprised the restaurant wasn't more informed as they are my local Indian and very close

It is allways a great pleasure to come all the way from Holland and to have a diner in the Naaz. Friendly people , nice service and the food...... manjefiek. ( super good) Can't wait to come again.

Ordered a takeaway from here. The main courses were excellent. We were expecting free poppadoms and pickles but had to pay for them which our usual place gives us. The order arrived on time. The Nan bread on top of the bag in a foil bag was cold.

Used these many times, Everytime the meals are faultless,full flavour, Will be using them many more times.

Great meal and service at a good price would definitely recommend. The only downside is the space, can be a bit cramped when there are busy periods.

My partner is not a great curry fan but we have had two takeaways from here. Both times he really enjoyed it. The food and portions are good. Nice break from cooking!

Went to Naaz for the second time this month last night. Last meal was so good wanted to check it out with a different group! Again, great meal(s) and service. Easily best I've had in the local area, will be back again soon

Always excellent service attentive and professional staff, food is excellent in house and take away, tried others but always return.

Have eaten there a few times now and by far the best curry and customer service! The Tikka Masala is by far my favourite but have a different curry ever time and they are all amazing!

Cant fault food , just a different class. Incredible value and portions over generous. Must have 40 Curry Houses closer, but worth the trip.

Do not ask for a takeaway / doggy bag for leftovers. They actually charge quite a bit for them because they do all you can eat and as such you are supposed to eat in the restaurant. Easier said than done for a lot of people. I never over order but very often I cannot finish the complete dish.

Another great night at the NAAZ. 7 of us on a busy Friday night. Great food, great service and value for money.

Good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff but most of all the food was superb. A very extensive menu it was difficult to choose out of so many delightful choices but in the end I went for the lamb tikka madras, it was one of the tastiest curry's I have had in a long time, all the other dishes were really good, Three of us went there as a friend has just bought a house in Lancing and we went to see house and have a catch up, looking forward to seeing friend again and going back to Naaz.

this is a regular indian we visit and I must say have never been disappointed with the food. Always fresh and plentiful and good quality and very reasonable at around £13 for starter , main, rice and side dish. Give it a go.

I’d fancy a meal to take home so I telephoned two hours before I had to pick my meal up and when I got there to pick up my meal the guy said that I did not order from this restaurant so I showed him the call log and then said who did you speak to I said I don’t know I just wanted to place my order for me to pick up.

Went to this restaurant after reading all the good reviews. Ordered a set menu for 11.95, seemed really convenient, you get main side naan starter and pappadomas, food arrived quickly, in my starter i found a curly black hair not the sort of hair you find in your head i want to think that it was a beard hair but i m probably optimistic !!!!! the tought of it makes me cringe and want to vomit, i decided to keep quiet to not ruin the evening for my family. Than the main arrived, curry was ok but the rice and the side dish was mediocre. The rice had chunck of lemons with the zest that made it very hard to eat, was super bitter. The potato side dish tasted old, like the potatoes were cooked a veryyy long time ago. The naan is the only thing i actually enjoyed. Not going back, thats for sure.

We visited the Naaz Indian Restaurant for the first time recently to sample their banquet night. This was very good value with plenty of food. We had a bottle of house wine which was excellent. It was very busy so booking a table is a must. The service was very good and we would like to return.

This is a local restaurant for us, so easy just to pop in to, but we would happily travel to enjoy a meal here! The food is always tasty, the service is very good too.

Food was brilliant. Service was quick. Great to see a restaurant so busy. However, the concertina door to the ladies toilet would not close which proved a bit difficult.

We visited here on a Saturday night in a family party of 7.

Been here a lot but not sure i will go back. We had the fixed price menu and the food was fine, the waiter kept trying to bump us down by suggesting all the cheaper dishes but we ignored that. We had kids so asked for tap water, we ordered poppadoms knowing they cost extra. The problem came with the bill as they charged us a lot for the pickles (complimentary at every other Indian in the land) having given us far too many for what we needed. Also they charged us for tap water, which i have since learnt is legal as they are unlicenced, however it was their manner when I challenged it. The cost was not on the menu and they rather aggressively told me to "go Google it!" , we would have simply left the cost less the pickles and water (£16!!) had we not been paying on cards. This is your legal right to pay what you interpret a meal is worth to you. They also got very short tempered when one of us asked for the normal menu and wanted to order a curry to share with her young son, trying to say its not allowed to share!!!! Food is good but watch them as they are very forceful in anything they can do to bump up the bill

Had a really lovely meal, food was excellant and the staff were friendly, accomadating and helpful.

I have no complaints for this establishment, excellent service, food is great and is complete value for money when it comes to paying the bill.

On arriving at the restaurant two ladies were trying to return a delivery that was totally wrong,. Raised voices and arguing. We waited 10 minutes to be seated, then waited 15 minutes to get a drink. Another 10 minutes to get somebody’s attention to come and take our order. At this point wanted to leave. But we had our pompadoms and waited for our food. Portions were large, plenty of flavour and taste. Food was good, glad we stayed, but would not go back. Waiters have the regulars who they stand and chat with unfortunately ignoring the rest of us.
