I love speciality rices one of them being keema rice but when I received mine it was more like a rice bolognese and which is a shame because the packaging looked promising or you want something nice from these guys get a salad

Pointless...this place used to be amazing with incredible customer service. Tonight I ordered amongst other dishes a chicken madras. I got a chicken in brown sauce and no spice at all!!! Unbelievable. They are more bothered about home delivery now than that personal touch if you went in. Deeply Deeply disappointed and won't be going there again...such a shame

Whoever delivered the food was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Practically threw the food at us and then walked off despite us being polite.

Dreadful! Food was 30 mins late, curry container had been crushed, and loads had spilt out, so the bottom of the bag was swimming in curry! The curry was flavourless, and the poppadoms were rank. The actual chicken was nice, rice was ok, bhajis were nice, best thing.

Me and my partner ordered from here on just eat. They are argumentative people. Delivered wrong food and denied it after complaining to just eat and claimed they re delivered the correct food after. Awful service. Do not order from here.

This takeaway has gone downhill the food comes late cold greasy and not as described on the menu I've spent good money from takeaways from here but not anymore the food standards are appalling they have lost another customer

I regularly order from this takeaway never again. Spent 70 on our takeaway was appalling. Food tepid chips cold and soggy poppadoms soggy and cold as was our nam bread.i like hot curries so o ordered a vindaloo .not hot as expected mild. Rice cold and lumpy. Order took 1 1/2 hours to come even though we ordered as soon as they opened and were told 30-50 minutes. Onion Bajis cold and hard, soggy poppadoms, cold chips, tepid rice, curry spilt in the bag and all over everything and the curry was so sweet I couldn't eat it. Given 2 star because the other curry was ok. Really disappointing.

Awful, waited an hour and a half for food, eventually a 13 year old boy delivers, 30 second later rings the bell again asking if we have the right food (we didn’t) comes back with a bag of smashed up containers. This after being told time and time again it would be 5 minutes. Sick of this, I returned the food to the premises to be told the delivery driver had been pulled over by the police. Was then given microwaved slops and told to ask for a refund. Disgusting. Not worthy of a star and a genuine shock they remain in business.

Ordered takeaway for collection yesterday; Dhansak, Bhuna, Tikka Masala, sag aloo, poppadums' & onion bhajis. Really tasty & delicious food, order was ready in 20 minutes, all piping hot, big portions & no dodgy stomach this morning. Love the fact you can see straight into the kitchen too Really unfair of other people to give 1 star due to wait times/missed orders, I get the frustration. A bit of compassion/understanding wouldn't go amiss.

I have ordered numerous times and have been quite happy with the food. I ordered last night and the poppadoms were soft, the bombay aloo had five tiny bits of potato in an emulsion sauce, the lamb jalfrezi (err what lamb) just didn't taste of anything. I popped in today and asked to speak with the owner as didn't understand how it could have been so different to previous meals, I was told that my next order will have a free side dish! I was not happy and just gave up.... Don't order from here and waste your good time and money!

Honestly listen to the other reviews, so far we have been waiting 2 and a half hours for our food, not only was it 2 hours before they even sent it out they sent it to completely the wrong address, not the wrong house but the wrong road entirely so when it did arrive it was cold of course, and when I phoned for the 3rd time they said they'd send it out again another half an hour later and still no food so frustratingly I phoned a 4th time to ask for my money back and the person on the end of the phone rudely barked that they don't have a refund policy... Update: in fairness when the replacement food did arrive it was very nice, but I still feel that the service was unacceptable

Don't bother going here. I went to the shop to buy my food and expected it to make things quicker. I asked them how long I would be waiting and was told 20 minutes. Waited 50 minutes and watched as people who ordered after me were given their food before me several times. The delivery service is much more important to them. Tried to soften the waiting time by giving me potatoes I didn't ask for, which I guess was their idea of an apology. When I got home and served the food, the order was wrong. Absolute joke.

We ordered from here told 40 minutes which it did arrive on time, the food was beautiful good priced and would call again, thank you we are in a motorhome and it was too hot to cook, spot on

Really disappointed! The last order we made was missed by the restaurant; after chasing to see where it was, I was told it was on it's way, still didn't turn up to then be told it had been missed so had to wait another 40mins for it to be cooked and delivered. Took a chance and ordered again this evening, it was half an hour late and then realised they'd given us the wrong rice. They tried to fob us off with "we'll give you rice free next time" no you won't! Correct rice eventually turned up so I ended up eating an hour after it should have first arrived. The food is usually worth the slow service but tonight my prawns were really tough and chewy. Won't be ordering again!

Absolutely brilliant, never has let me down

Excellent, food turned up within good time. All food was really hot and had a lovely flavour. Would recommend to anyone, will definitely be ordering again.

I ordered on chef online which stated 45 mins for delivery over 1hr45 before it turned up. Lady on the phone stated they tried to call me which they hadn't. I'm vegetarian my friend had meat and nothing on the order was labeled. Driver had an attitude problem. I have phoned the restaurant of which they are refusing a refund. They have tried to fob me off with free side and drink on next order. I will not be placing another order and will be going through my bank for a refund on chargeback. Under the consumers rights act and supply of goods and services act 1982 which states you should expect the 'services' to be carried out with reasonable care and skill within a reasonable time and at a reasonable cost. Any food delivery company not delivering when promised would also be in breach of the Consumer Rights Act which says services should be carried out with information given verbally or in writing to the consumer which is binding where the consumer relies on it. Any service must be carried out within the agreed time. The agreed time on this occasion was 45 mins Also the lady on the phone at Naima stated that there was 1hr30 wait which is not stated on chef online website. The food was only just warm. This whole situation is totally unacceptable and was completely unavoidable. All I can recommend is don't order from Naima

Ordered at 5.30PM for delivery at 7PM, arrived at 8.15, cold and one time wrong. No response to my complaint

Normally been very good, but last night was terribly. The lids on the cartons were squashed down and lots of oil and curry had gone everywhere in the bag. All the rice was cold and the curry's were Luke warm and covered in oil. We had to reheat in microwave. We were told the food will take an hour but it was more like 2 and half hours. I just don't understand why they say one hour for delivery knowing its going to be much more then that. I think Naima are living on past glories, however its gone down hill now. Such a shame.

We had a lovely curry which was cooked to perfection of flavour. Compliments to the chef.

Ordered at 5pm on just eat for delivery at 8pm, 9.45 order still not arrived, phone was off the hook, just eat says it had been delivered, husband had to go to the take away, they said 10mins if he waits, another 30mins for delivery!! Disgusting service, don’t accept orders if you cannot fulfill them!!!

Didn't even bother to receive our food. An hour later still hadn't even been cooked. Let alone left the shop. Wouldn't waste my time to order again from here. Person on phone rude.

Thought we would try again and collect this time as last time our curry had been spilt everywhere in the bag during delivery. Ordered a main chicken tikka which came without any salad or mjnt sauce. It’s a bit like having your curry without the rice... how hard can it be to put everything in the bag? An extra bag of onion salad doesn’t make up for it I’m afraid. Definitely the last time here.

Used to be a very nice place to eat from. But that last 3 times we have tried there food it has turned up with missing items. Two times taken. 2+ hours to get here. And this time I had to put in the microwave to make it hot. That is not on. Specially after upping there prices. Such a disappointment. Be aware

For years and years I’ve been using another local curry place in shoreham but decided I’d try somewhere new, honestly the BEST curry I have ever eaten! It was a little bit late but I wouldn’t mind it being hours late if it tastes like this

Ordered from here this eve. We used to use Naima regularly but felt it wasn’t as good so made a change but thought we’d try again. The bag looked like it had been dropped, the address was incorrect despite me giving it in full with a postcode. The poppadoms were soggy so went straight in the bin and the curry was spilt in the bag. I rang to say that we weren’t happy the state of the food (the delivery driver used to have your bag in a hard thermos box and it was always in a perfect state on arrvival)and offered the photos you see here. We were offered 10% off next time. Well there won’t be a next time I’m afraid. There are much better places we can go.

We ordered a delivery from here as there was no delivery charge and 20% off. I had completely forgotten that we used them once before and left an average review but this meal was much better. We had a Chicken Shashlik Garlic Masala, Tandoori Garlic Chilli Chicken Saag, Mushroom Rice and Garlic Naan. I also ordered a couple of poppadoms but six turned up so I presume that they normally supply them for free. I'll remember that next time. They were a tiny bit less than crisp but that can often happen with them all being delivered with the other hot food. The food was very good, easily as good as other meals that we have had from other local takeaways and we will definitely use them again. The delivery time was spot on too!

Great food but the delivery driver, white gingery balding dude, needs to stop the strops when he doesn’t get a tip. Tip for what? Doing your job?!

Used to be my favourite curry place, first time we'd ordered for a while and I was amazed. Tonight the food was cold, I had to pour oil off the top of every dish, the curry was watery and the popodoms were soft.

Had a takeaway . Very tasty and delicious . Served by a very polite and courteous young man, which in itself was refreshing . I had vegetable curry rice a Good portion of chips veg samosas poppadoms mint yoghurt and onion herb mix all for under a tenner ! Very very good .absolutely delicious and tasty . Well recommended .

We literally just rang up to place an order for delivery and because we wanted to order a different dish than the first one we had asked for they hung up!!! Then we called back thinking we had been cut off to be rudely lectured that he was to busy to change what he had written in the 20 second conversation previously and refused to take our order!!! Unbelievably rude!!!

Not good!! really did not enjoy this food found the kitchen really dirty tbh, chicken was like rubber. I eat Indian at least 3 times aweek this is one of the worst Indian I have had in a long time, a friend recommend this and i would not be recommending this take out to any. But that’s my opinion on this take out.

I used to like this place but!!! Tonight all was cold chicken in madras was overcooked. And the shami kebab meat is off it stinks bigtime.i ate 1 piece of the shami kebab i put curry on top i thought it tasted funny!! Not happy at all !!! Never again! Health and safety should be called!

This place uses absolute filthy rags to pull the chicken from the skewer the food is nothing like Indian food very dirty looking kitchen that is on full view how environmental health allow this kitchen to be used to serve the public food I have absolutely no idea !!! I have eaten from many takeaways but this one by far the worst wish I’d walked out after I’d seen the chicken being pulled off the skewer but had paid before hand just went home and put the lot in a dustbin would not recommend to anyone , go have a look at the filthy rags they use and decide for yourself if you would want to put that food in your mouth afterwards.

Have never had problems always been our favourite however tonight whilst eating the korma I discovered raw meat. I've taken photos and have informed the 24 hour environmental health.

If I could give them a 0 star I would. They were my go to curry takeaway place the past few orders there has been problems like food cold, things missing. But i let them go. However, HAIR in my food is unacceptable. I immediately threw it away and rang the company. By this time I received my food which was 45 minutes late they were shut. My partner rang them the next morning the man apologised as he forgot to wear his hair net but blackmailed my partner on the phone stating he would NOT get a refund for the food that was un eatable unless he removed his review on just eat (which was a bad review). NEVER again will I give them anymore custom.

Its not very good, we have tried most of the takeaways in Lancing and this is one of the worst. Avoid.

Awful. Waited an hour for delivery. The bottom curry was spilt but it didn't matter as it was inedible. It tasted of a mouth full of sugar. Even the man and poppadoms were dreadful. No taste at all. The other curries were just about ok but only Luke warm.Very disappointed.

The Achari was utterly inedible. I suspect the meat was an unused lamb kebab starter recooked and masked with a ladle of sugar. The sauce was ridiculously sweet the meat unchewable. There's no doubt in my mind the rice was Asda's microwave Pilau rice. Yuck

Recently discovered and it’s our new favourite!

I have used this place occasionally for several years but have noticed a gradual decline in the quality of food offered. Latest visit will be the last! Ordered a Lamb Dhansak etc. Every piece of lamb was so chewy as to be inedible - the sauce hadn't seen a lentil in its life and the bombay potato was full of raw potato. Complete and utter rubbish!

We’ve used Namia a lot over the years but we ordered a very big order( had lots of friends over) and everything turned up spot on. Food is always amazing and we always receive great service from them all.

It’s always disappointing when you order a take away and only part of it turns up - but when you are told that they are too busy to rectify the situation that’s unfair. Especially when the cost of what you order is more than what is delivered. This isn’t an isolated incident, it has happened now on several occasions.

Ordered a takeaway on Saturday evening 6/10/18. They said delivery one hour and half at the most. Still hadn’t arrived after one and three quarter hours so phoned them. They said it was on its way. Still hadn’t arrived by 8.15 and when we phoned again they said that the order hadn’t been done. No apologies, they couldn’t care less. A disgusting way to carry on a business. I posted on my local Facebook page about this and 4 other people said they had experienced the same thing on Saturday night.

Ordered a meal for three at 5.50pm. Told it would be a maximum of one and a half hours but probably less. Phoned again at 7.40pm and told it was on its way and would be with us in 5/10 minutes. Phoned again at 8.10pm and told it had been forgotten!! No apology whatsoever. Don’t believe a word this lot tell you. I will not be using this bunch of jokers again and neither should you.

Nice food had a chicken tikka with green salad as s main course. With a keema naan all was very nice chicken was a little rubbery but all tasted nice

After enjoying excellent deliveries from Naima the last two times this last one was not nice. My Achari was too sharp and the chicken overcooked as it was in the Chicken Aloo Paneer, my daughter's green beans and vegetable Mathi were flavourless, except the potatoes that had an 'old' flavour to them and, worst of all, even the poppadoms were rendered inedible having clearly been cooked in old oil. Will not be ordering again, such a disappointment.

The best Indian restaurant in shoreham. Absolutely amazing, food is always piping hot, and soooo TASTY i have recommended this restaurant to all our family and friends. Always a service with a smile too. FANTASTIC.

It's standard Indian fayre, however, it's really well done, always delivered quickly & piping hot. They're happy to make little alterations to dishes if you request them too. Can't go wrong here.

We have used Naima on a few occasions and it has always been good but tonight was dreadful We ordered on line at 6pm and were given a delivery time of 40 minutes After an hour we rung and was told it would be 10-15 minutes. It finally turned up at 7.45pm, it wasn't that hot and the poppadoms were so smashed to pieces we didn't bother to eat them. What should have been an enjoyable treat for Fathers Day turned out to be a complete shambles.

The sauces seemed far too sugary and tasted very samey just with different degrees of heat. Had one again the next week to see if they had had an 'off' night....still not good. Wont be using there again...maybe though in another 3 years!!

Just had a garlic chicken shashlik with a garlic cheese naan and vegetable samosas. It was luke warm at best and was not to a previous standard i have received from them. I have had better samosas from tescos. Makes me think that once a regular customer they dont take as much care in the quality of their food as they would a new customer. Very disappointed.

Muy rara vez pedir comida para llevar, pero como estaba demasiado cansado para salir, y como un regalo especial para mí y mi esposa, me decidí a pedir de este restaurante a través de la 'Web', comer y por primera vez, nos lo llevaran en lugar de recoger. Vivo a 1 / 2 milla de distancia, así que esperaba que la comida se caliente, pero en realidad sólo era cálido. Cuando deshicimos las maletas, dos de los contenedores estaban goteando, así que todo en la bolsa tenía un recubrimiento de salsa. La orden había sido incorrectamente con uno de los platos que faltaba, y dos platos incluido que no quiero orden o. De la comida que recibimos, el sabor era tan soso que sólo por el hecho de que el contenido había sido escrito en la tapa del contenedor, no me creo que era la correcta. Si reservarás lo llevó de vuelta al restaurante que el chef no sería capaz de identificar, he tenido mejor comida de un frasco. Esta es la primera y última vez usaré este restaurante y el servicio 'aguantar'. Haré el esfuerzo de ir a comer en su lugar. Al menos cuando comes fuera, cualquier problema puede ser corregido antes de que has pagado.
