The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Absolutely awfull food apart from the onion bahjis. Peshwari nan bread was stodgy and no flavour at all of coconut. The lamb tikka bhuna was in a completely tasteless sauce no depth or flavour. Motor paneer was a milky watery sauce. Had to throw it all in the bin. When I called to complain the 'manager' was patronising asked me why" I hadnt gone to the Indian down the road".!!! I told him they don't do delivery and I was ill in bed. I mentioned I knew about Indian cooking as am well travelled and know a lot about spices he then called me a chef and refused a refund. I was not rude to him at all and he was very defensive and argumentative. I don't know how on earth he can call himself a manager with the poor customer service skills he thinks he has which I have not experienced for years and needs to go on a managerial course or go to work at Macdonalds where no doubt he will be more appreciated.

Enjoyed my first takeaway last night and after eating curry for some 50 years I can honestly say that the tandoori chicken was the best I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommended.

There were 11 of us together for my birthday celebration. The staff were excellent in every respect. The food was amazing quality and the portions were a good size . Drinks are reasonably priced and a good selection. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue and I will be returning soon .

Excellent curry with really friendly staff, I highly recommend the Chicken tikka jalfrezi was amazing. 🙂

After reading the reviews about their lovely scones we decided to give it a try, sadly there were no scones available and there was Extremely limited choice for cakes or anything similar on offer, this I felt was very poor service as it was only midday On a Saturday afternoon. All round a very disappointing experience.

Aweful no spice in the food so bland I have better microwave dishes . Tried to give us a 25 pound voucher . We gave it back . Took 25% off the bill it was still not enough . Never setting foot in there again

A little gem!!! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Well worth a visit. Shiraz & his team work very hard to ensure your curry experience is one to remember. Food is fantastic. Service is brilliant.

Good food, great portions, always a go to

A mi marido le dieron un vale para el Ascensor 109 y el almuerzo en Cinnamon Kitchen. Visitamos en su cumpleaños y encontramos el servicio y la comida impecable. A primera vista parece pequeño desde el exterior, pero no lo era, era enorme, tan fácilmente capaz de acomodar grandes fiestas. La comida era excelente y mi marido disfrutó mucho de su cumpleaños.

A great restaurant with excellent authentic food. We came here on a Friday night and it was very busy, but the staff set up a table for us in the bar area before a proper table became available. The service was very good, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The garlic chilli chicken is delicious with a peshwari naan 🤌🏻. Thank you very much, we will be coming here again soon!

Excellent take away good from Alrewas Delhi , ready in 30mins. The veg balti and chicken tikka balti were amazing. We were given complimentary popadoms too. We shall definitely be back.

Very disappointing. We ordered a delivery. It was 1 hour late. The food was cold. We ordered 2 different curries and were sent the same one twice. We ordered and paid for Tarka Dahl but didn't receive it. Wouldn't order again.

Staff are lovely, food portions are really big 😋 I had to bring my food home couldn't eat it all. Lovely place, starts getting really busy around 7pm. Booking is advisable. A big thank you to the staff.
