The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Came 20min faster. Food was really hot… really tasty and the cartons were full.

On a pitstop from Cornwall back in 2017, decided to stop by at this restaurant for a pre booked table. The food quality and service was an absolute pleasure. Prawn Puree and Chicken Jalfrazi were among the best I have had. Muhammad Ali has been a pleasure meeting along with all the staff. Will definately come again… And here I am again and again, whenever I pass by Southampton, I look for an excuse to dine in at Forest Spice. They have continued to supply fresh tasty food regularly and never disappointed me. Had I beena local resident, I would have been here regularly. Tables are a little close together - but it was pleasant and the food very good. Varied menu with a wide range of dishes for vegetarians and meat eaters. Excellent onion bahji - it really stood out above others I have had.

The Jewel of Tontine – Always Exceeds Expectations! I’ve been coming to this brilliant Indian restaurant for many years, and it never disappoints! I remember the days when the restaurant was called the ‘Calcutta’ before being renamed ‘The Curry Garden’ (which shows just how long I’ve been attending!) The food is consistently fantastic, with rich flavors and a menu that offers both classic and innovative dishes. Every meal feels like a special experience, thanks to the quality of the ingredients and the skill in the kitchen. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Sami and his team are always so friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure every visit is memorable. Whether it’s accommodating special requests or simply checking in with a warm smile, they create a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere that keeps me coming back and has done for many years. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food and genuinely caring service, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! I’ve eaten curry all over the world and there’s no place better. Even the take-away option (special for 2) is brilliant and reasonably priced. Love the place and hopefully will be attending for many years to come.

Very good sweets. Always fresh. Snack and savoury food beats all these upcoming street food and chai places.

Had 2 takeaways from here in the last month when passing through Nantwich on our boat. Both meals were ready at the collection time stated and were both delicious. Will definitely order from here again when we're in the area.

It was a Monday night in late October so out group of 7 were the only ones in at the time we visited. I think this was just an odd quiet time. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Birthday person got a bottle on the house. We also were given a box of mints not just one each! Portions were generous. Including the chutney. All came out hot. Great mix of flavours. I particularly liked my chickpea main. All were in agreement we were glad we went there. Management thanked us and shook our hands at the end. Nice to be in somewhere that appreciates your custom.

The best Indian takeaway by a mile in the area. Amazing food,fantastic staff recommend the balti every time 👍

Placed an order at 6.15 pm and it arrived at 8.20 , food was lukewarm and 2 of the popadoms were like rubber .Will definitely not be ordering from here again

Delicious food and friendly service, with "old-fashioned" booths for the tables. Free (in the evening) parking close by.

The food is exceptional, I’ve only lived inMorpeth for 5 weeks and visited on 4 occasions to date. On our first visit I asked for advice and took it, we’ve eaten the same special ever since. We’ve enjoyed Indian food all over the Uk in award winning Indian restaurants but I have to admit that this place is by far the best food we’ve ever had and excellent value for money, please don’t pass this place by
