Samosas were disgusting place has gone downhill.

Sometimes there Samosa and Paneer pakoras not fresh.And samosa looks like they re heat in air fryer or microwave.And on Samoa’s mark like chapati/roti mark same. When am calling and they denied.My attention is not about compliant.Actually just I want to suggest them what they served to our community and improve the quality and fresh food.There is not option for pic otherwise I have pic to update as well.👎👎👎

Today , i take a chole bhature. I swear that was veey very bad . The bhature taste was like the material is very old .

Dined here with my dearest Paji, whom had been dining at Sheree Punjab since it opened decades ago. It was my first visit and to be honest my dearest Paji never fails to impress me...the service was fast, food 1st class desi style visually very impressive and spoke volumes itself. Very busy with couples, take out orders and family dines. No need for anything fancy it's just great wholesome food served and made with love and Punjabi pride! Thank you to my dearest Paji for a lovely experience! Top marks to this fine eattery. Five stars

Me and my husband absolutely love their paranthas especially mooli and gobi. They are one of the best in Leicester. Even their dishes such as Sarso ka saag, Aalo gobi are wonderful

Waited too long for this. Staff is a bit slow. Most people visit there to get sweets. Cash only Chloe bhature was amazing. Great taste of chanay. Clean environment. Price was reasonable. Didn’t try their saag so far. Best Punjabi food 🍲 Recommended but they take so long make food.

Best Indian vegetarian food in Leicester.

I absolutely enjoy samosas with chutney and Indian sweets from the shop. From my experience, I'm aware that best idea is to order in advance else you might have to wait for quite some time. Wouldn't recommend having meal in the shop as its quite small.

The samosas I received were so bad it was just all pastry and hardly any filling and also very over cooked I have attached a photo to show all customers the kind of food they are providing! Also no chutney provided, when you can them up they are very rude and hang up on you!

I didn't eat what I bought but the the people that did were very impressed. Years ago this was my go to place for stuffed parathas. Then we had one much closer to home but now it's changed hands. Back to shere Punjab now.

Amazing food. Really traditional , fresh and tasty. Everything was nice. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the chole bhautra but other than that it was pretty close to food we had in Amritsar.

One of my best old time favourite place in Leicester for Pure Desi Punjabi Flavour and taste. Their Punjab Pakora’s and Samosas are completely made fresh on orders. Their dishes again top class. It’s best to eat in store but because of COVID-19 only Takeaways. I have been trying this place from last 15 years now. No complaints. Update April 2022: I have been to Shere Punja once again after about 2 and half year to eat in. I tried Aloo Chole and Saag with Makke Di Roti.. no changes to taste. They give food in foil containers so if anything left over you can easily pack with lid on top and do take away.

Really top notch Indian food at really good prices.

This was our first time here, and we ordered a lot, as in A lot of food. They were moderately busy. The reviews were hit and miss and that sums it up. We also ordered snacks and sweets. Big mistake, especially if we were ordering first time. About 30% of the dishes were passable, the rest was below par. We ordered 2x Samson saag which was quite pathetic. It was a faded emerald color and very slimy and did not taste like saag at all. We just hope the slimy and gooey stuff was an overload of turnips. We had no choice but to eat as we were bringing the dinner to a friends house and we’re all going to eat together. Baingan bharta, was again like a paste with no Baingan visible in sight and neither in taste. Both the saag and bharta had been blended into a ‘gummy, gluey slush’ at best. Now for the good part. The bhindi was fantastic. Chana was good, as were the Bhaturas, which were above average. The pickle they gave us was fantastic and I would buy that, if they sold it. A bit stingy with the onion, but not too bad. Samosa chaat was 3/5 stars. Now for the desserts. We ordered a combination of different sweets, some in Juices like gulab jamun, and others dry, namely Barfi, pedas, and besan barfi. They were all packed together, so the juices mixed with the dry mithai. The besan barfi was decent 3/5 stars and gulab jamun was excellent 4/5 stars but the other stuff, especially the peda looking yellow thing had to be discarded. Tea was passable. Like every other similar food place, don’t expect an itemized receipt or for that matter any receipt at all. If your going to split the bill on an itemized basis, it’s best to order and pay separately. It’s cash only. I would have liked to give this place a second chance, but the others in my party want to try somewhere new. ——- Upgraded to 4 stars. Gave it a second chance. Saag was a lot better as were the rotis. Good stuff.

This has to be my favourite place to go for Punjabi samosas, the service is brilliant and alot of variety. The parathas, makhi methi roti and all dishes are amazing.

His place has the best ladoos EVER! But their shop need a bit of updating from the inside cause it look a bit bland otherwise it is fabulous

Ordered gobhi parotha on phone and got mooli parotha but the main thing is when i called back to gave a feedback that guy said no you ordered mooli one... try to accept the feedback atleast.🙏

Don’t believe the negative comments about this place. Be prepared for simple home cooking and no frills at great prices. Food just like mother used to make. Authentic tasty vegetarian food. Lots of good choice.

Food used to be good but recently gone downhill and I got food posioning from here once.

Shere punjab is a decent and clean restaurant. Gulab jamuns and samosas are good. Food is simple and tasty. They are quick for the order and it's only a takeaway at the minute.

Recently there two new people taking the phone calls for orders who have now on numerous occasions have said i have not ordered or give me the wrong order. Frustrating when I drive 30 mins to get my order when uncle Ji and that tall lad used to take orders used to be shorter waiting times and a brilliant on point service.

One of the best places to eat and to takeout. Food is prepared fresh and each time it tastes delicious. I have been buying from them regularly since over 15 years and have always been treated well. You will be invited with respect all the time and treated well. They are wonderful family run business I would highly recommend them , this is my 15 years experience that I have had with Shere Punjab keep it up guys 👍🏼

Love the food but you tend to wait some time for your order to be ready. Wish they took card payments.

3 stars cause there food is good but they got my order wrong twice why would they ask if we want it hot or cold obviously hot and they are deaf or something when I said large they heard small

Really fancied a stuffed paratha and my cousins suggested this place. Was not disappointed, ordered a gobi paratha to takeaway and it hit the spot. It was freshly made, hot and tasty. Would definitely come back to try the main dishes!
