The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Customer service here is second to none, all staff members were super friendly and very attentive. Food was delicious and ended the evening with some brandy and baileys on the house! Went for a birthday celebration and they pushed the boat out for the birthday sing along. Would reccommend!

Fantastic takeaway again from Elaichi. The food is wonderful and the portions are generous. We've also really enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. We almost always choose one meat and one vegetarian option and I especially like the range of vegetables in the veggie options. The meat is also lovely and beautifully cooked.

A real gem in the village of Hamstreet near Ashford. Excellent, fresh and tasty Indian cuisine cooked to perfection in pleasant and comfortable surroundings within a stones throw of the town if Ashford. Friendly attentive staff and a decent comprehensive menu without overloading you with choice. Immaculately clean too. Well worth a visit away from the hustle bustle of Ashford and its negative supply of eateries. Pay the Old School House in Hamstreet near Ashford a visit, you won’t be disappointed

I recently visited TV, and I have to say, it was not a pleasant experience. While the food was okay—nothing memorable but decent enough—the service left a lot to be desired. Our waiter seemed uninterested and was rude from the start, which set a terrible tone for the entire meal. Basic manners were missing, and any question or request seemed like a huge inconvenience to him. The atmosphere didn’t help either; the place was dimly lit in a way that felt more unsettling than cozy. I didn't feel comfortable, and it wasn't an environment where you’d want to spend much time. Overall, the combination of mediocre food, unprofessional service, and an uncomfortable setting made this a place I won’t be returning to or recommending to others.

when he phoned he couldn't hear me I phoned back he put the phone down, it was delivered to the wrong address when I got the meal the bag was split because the curry leaked, the prawns was hard and chewy cooked to much was not happy

Disappointed with this place really . No taste in the food and the rice and nan bread tasted off felt bad through the night .

Sadly it took 1 hour 45 mins for my order to come. The restaurant staff member I spoke to was nice and apologetic however there were no proactive updates or ETAs until it took me to call in. It was an ok curry, that was warmish. Probably wouldn’t bother ordering from again. Disappointing as we were so so hungry

Food tasted lovely but delivery time was extended, leaving the food not warm enough and eating too late.

After a long and painful period in intensive care, this restaurant has now closed. It had a good run and for a while was THE place to see and be seen, but alas no more.

Cold and tasteless, rice was cold, chicken had a very strange taste to it. Waste of money

My order took 1 hour and 50 minutes to be delivered the food was cold when I received the order we received a butter chicken instead of a tikka masala when I rung the restaurant to find out where my food was after 1 hour and 30 minutes they told me it had left the restaurant 10 minutes prior to my phone call this is the 2nd bad experience I have had from here I am not happy with this at all
