Indian Heaven in Cheshire East

Uninspiring yet ok food. Prawn puri starter was the highlight - packed with flavour and prawns and the puri was light and fresh. Chicken was on the dry side in the Pathia which also lacked richness. Avoid the house red. It's the only one available by the glass and is approaching undrinkable. Ideal for a post pub curry, but it is not the 'amazing' food that some of the reviews suggest. I cannot comment on the chef specials and is only one visit, so I may be underselling this place..or not!

Today we went for a Bottomless Brunch for the first time. The food and service was exceptional! Set menu with drinks £30 how can you do that in this current climate!! I would highly recommend Indian Heaven Alsager. Thank you.

You can not fault the food ....BUT ...i find one of the staff really arrogant and rude .....Talks to his staff really abruptly making you feel uncomfortable......also we ordered a few poppadoms and a nann bread for collection as i was cooking a home made curry ......when my husband went to collect it... he had his hand on the door stopping my hubby and questioning where we were having our mains from .....find him very intimidating.....needs to have a word with himself

I love the food from this takeaway. I love the flavour of the Pilau rice and the sauces however, this week the chicken was tough, the guy who took our order got the number of poppadums wrong (only 2), there was no salad supplied with the Shiek Kebabs and the sauce pots were only half full.

Food was shocking. Chilli Chicken madras (very hot) came out mild. Looked more like a stew. Poppadum's were burnt, garlic naan was burnt.....It was awful. And very expensive to boot.....You can also tell there are fake positive reviews lately for this place which is worrying. This place used to be the go to.....not anymore.

Last night I had an amazing meal at this Indian restaurant, and I can't stop raving about it! The vibe was super cozy, and the staff was really friendly and helpful. They had a ton of tasty dishes on the menu, but the prawn jalfrezi stole the show for me—so flavourful, especially with some warm naan. Overall, it was such a fun dining experience, and I can't wait to go back for more!

Nice food but with the takeaway service, they have a habit of forgetting things from your order. We have eaten in this restaurant several times and never had a bad meal, and the staff are really friendly. The only thing that lets it down for us is the takeaway service. This is our third time ordering a takeaway, and every time something has been missing from our order. If you try to call them back they just say they’ll give discount on the next order, but don’t appear to appreciate the disappointment to customers of getting it wrong in the first place. Come on Indian Heaven, double check your customers orders that have paid a lot of money for your food cause we won’t be ordering again because of this!

We take out two grandsons out once a month for an Indian , yesterday it was here , we always have the same meals , the mains vary slightly , so four curries , one rice , two chips , two naan breads and two pints , the food was exceptional as was the service although the Jalfrezi wasn’t very hot as advertised , we usually pay between £45 and £60 for the meal , this was £82 , and although as stated the food was spot on it’s just too expensive so we wouldn’t return

Regular spot to order takeaways. Always have a great meal the only downside is they do not deliver. 100℅ recomend keep the hard work up boys

Collected a take away this evening. On arrival home the Nan bread was missing. The Chicken Balti had 4 small pcs of chicken and the sauce was tateless. Very poor quality, will not be using Indian Heaven again.

Fantastic !!! We went to Indian heaven recently for a joint birthday meal, so glad we did. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. They even lit the birthday cake and brought it to the table after our curry. Will definitely be going again. Highly recommend.

Rude staff…..vac up while you are eating then want you out. Worst customer service ever and the owner/manager is beyond rude. Don’t go!

We had a fantastic time at Indian Heaven. The starters and mains were all delicious. I had garlic chilli chicken which was very tasty, and my freshly made keema naan bread was made to perfection. The venue is very inviting and the staff are very friendly and efficient.

We were a group of 7 celebrating a midweek family birthday. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the staff were lovely, being both professional and friendly. I hadn’t mentioned the birthday when I booked, but when they realised what we were celebrating, a complimentary cognac was brought to the table for the birthday boy. It’s little touches like this that make such a difference to your dining out experience and the clean plates and smiling faces told me I’d made an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be back.

First visit and we shared a vegetarian Saagwala with lemon rice. Food was very good and the service was friendly. This is a really useful standby, we are spoilt having the incredible Bengal Tiger Lily on our doorstep.

This place used to be my favourite Indian restaurant. But in recent months and on multiple occasions, I've found the food to be bland and watery - both for eat in and takeaway. Last time we ate here, my Madras was 50% warm water. Staff and atmosphere great as always, however.

I went for my birthday. Fantastic food. Friendly and professional staff Nothing was too much trouble. They decorated the table for my birthday without being asked. Put big sparkler in my birthday cake again without asking. Personal touch made such a difference. Great night with great friends. Highly recommend this restaurant. Can't fault it at all.

Very poor quality food. My most concern was the 2star rating for hygiene. The food was not very hot.

I have had 3 meals here with family and friends in the last 2 months and each visit was a severe disappointment. The usual high standard of the food has gone, flavourless, watered down and bland for not just my meal but me guests has put me of from going here again until the food improves.

Very disappointed that I was unable to book this restaurant during Dine Out Scheme.It is always so popular. Standards have not slipped.Service very good and food just as we wanted .

Meal was good at half price but it would have been expensive at full price. A glass of lemonade cost £4. Best to have tap water!

Best Indian restaurant in Alsager in my view, we have returned following lockdown and the restaurant was bustling which was lovely to see. Great atmosphere and the food was fantastic, I rhave really missed it !!

Under normal circumstances I would rate this place a 5. But tonight during lockdown I rang at 5.55 to order a curry, I was advised to come at 6.55 and after waiting nearly an hour. I still didn’t have my order... I know it’s tough at the min but it’s not acceptable to let people wait outside for an hour. Then serve others that haven’t waited very long. Not acceptable. It’s completely put me off ordering and coming here after lock down. I will stick to latifs in the village the service has always been amazing from there.

Another fantastic meal to celabrate my freinds 50th birthday, we don't live in Alsager any more but love to visit when we come home.

This restaurant has definitely gone down hill since the change of management. Poor food, tough over cooked lamb and a bland generic sauce. One member of staff has a serious attitude problem and is aggressive in his nature. Totally unsuited to providing customer service. I definitely won’t be going back.

Indian Heaven has been our absolute favourite place to eat out now for many years! In this time we have strayed from the path and tried numerous other Indian restaurants some by choice & others when dragged along by invites from friends and family, I can only say none have ever measured up! Exceptionally accommodating, friendly, spotless clean environment with great staff. The food is so fresh and everything we have ever had from here is cooked to perfection, a wide choice of dishes and chef specials and at a reasonable price. Keep up the good work Indian Heaven you truly can’t be beaten !!

After a few bad bland takeaways we gave this place another go as it is 2 mins round the corner from where we live. HOWEVER after being told the takeaway we ordered would be 30 mins we collected after 25 mins. When we got home it was STONE COLD. I won’t be going here again and do hope they go out of business some time soon. I will be returning to Aishah balti in future, bit of a longer walk for us but far more tasty and on average £2 a dish cheaper.

We’ve been going here for years. Always reliable, lovely food, great atmosphere and service. A popular place, but very obliging to fit you in.

For many years Indian heaven has been the place to go for a good standard curry, all my family use this restaurant. I do make a lot of my own currys so don't go as often as I used to. I have spent some time in northern India, around Delhi and the taj, so I would still say English Indian currys are not as good as the authentic you get there. This place can be recommended, always a good atmosphere

Visited this very friendly restaurant with my colleague for dinner while we were on a training course. Attentive but not intrusive service. Very good veggie choices. Had a very tasty veggie curry with lemon pilau rice. Good choice of both alcoholic & soft drinks. Would probably visit again when in area. Recommended.

Booked to come here with my wife again for my birthday after an amazing meal last time. I went for the special chilli masala mixed this time and honestly say it’s the best curry I’ve ever had. It packed a real punch and was full of flavour. Couldn’t manage it all though so had a doggie bag and will be having it for breakfast lol. My wife really enjoyed her chicken tikka masala, again full of flavour and the keema rice went really well with it. Again, highly recommend and see you again. I decided to visit this restaurant last week as it used to be one of our favourites in Alsager. The food was always excellent, and the service polite and attentive.

My girlfriend and I used to visit this restaurant on a regular basis. Having decided to visit again we were courteously received by a waiter hovering around the bar area, and shown to our table.

Fantastic and our go to eat in Indian restaurant. Food is second to none and very good value for money.

The first time visiting here and honestly do not know why we haven’t been before. The food and service were amazing and a great deal to choose from. I like to have different curry’s I’ve never had before mixed Ceylon and was full of flavour with a nice kick to it. Will definitely return and try something else next time. Highly recommend.

Came up from Bristol to visit special friends who highly recommended Indian Heaven and Salik’s food and restaurant team. We had Korma, Pasanda, Dupiasa, Korai and Biriana. All really good with great flavours absolutely splendid. Thanks for a lovely meal - we were made to feel very welcome.

Had many a take away and several meals from here and it’s always consistent, good quality food and plenty of it. The owner is very friendly and the staff attentive. Our starters where a little disappointing nothing wrong with them just a bit plain but the mains were as good as ever with great cheese nan. As ever no room for sweets one day perhaps? No doubt will be back very soon.

Nice takeaway when visiting friends in Alsager, never disappoints . Will be back again when back in Alsager.

My husband and I went for a meal out midweek after it being recommended to us. The restaurant was nice and clean, staff very welcoming and friendly. Food was delicious, big portions so glad we didn’t have a starter. Highly recommend this place.

Definitely the most authentic Indian/Bangladesh food in the area. Always spotlessly clean with fresh cooked food and the best naan bread by far. Lovely, friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble.

This curry house is a firm favourite, simply excellent food a great menu and selection. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. My favourite dish by far is the chicken jalfrezi, it’s spicy but has a fresh fragrant taste. The nans are light and fluffy, with a spicy curry I love the peshwari. I have taken guests from work here on numerous occasions and this place has never failed to impress - Superb!!

Visited for the first, and last time. Meal was mediocre, OK if you like frozen chips (yes I know it's an Indian, but even so) and skinny naan, not the fat free skinny, more the wafer thin skinny. But, the icing on the cake was being charged £4 for a glass of soda water! Admittedly it had ice and a slice of lemon but £4! Still can't quite get over it and will definitely never ever go back.

Visited with a fussy eater son (chicken nuggets and chips). He was given what he asked for but he was also encouraged to eat Indian food. A plate of (free) chicken tika and a lecture on being adventurous which was well received. He ate it!

Having been Indian heaven for years and always recommending to friends and family sadly i can no longer do so. The food used to be amazing, faultless!! But now not so, the food aswell as service has declined rapidly. After finishing our starters and waiting for our main several waiters started spraying window cleaner on the glass panels near our table!!! Strong smelling odour that quickly put us off our appetite. Also noticed how they keep the door open allowing freezing air to circulate, this makes food cold and certainly creates unwelcome vibe. We had to ask several times close the door. Unfortunately the past 12 months has seen a rapid decline in service and food quality. We are now looking elsewhere... this is such a shame and i am sorry that there has been such a negative change.

Ourselves and friends have been visiting since the opening day and loyal customers like ourselves were given discount cards for 25% off food.

We made a reservation for a table on saturnight at 8pm, when we turned up the waiter says it'll be another 30 - 45 mins, so we return 45 mins later and there is a queue out of the door, we ask the waiter if the table is ready and he says nearly then gives the table to the next in line behind us! when questioned he become confrontational and rude. absolutely appaling service, cant comment on the food as we didn't get any, I would highly recommend Latiffs down the road though.

If you like Indian food then this place will not disappoint! Authentic, fresh and tasty, it really is that good. Whenever I eat Indian food this is the place I compare too, my benchmark! 100% recommended.

A warm welcome from the attentive staff. Good choice of food and drinks available. Not phased by a group of eleven. Pre booking recommended as seems very popular. Did not feel rushed at all. All meals very well presented and tasty. Portion sizes are not overfacing. Would recommend one portion of rice per person if not having other side dishes with your main course. Toilet facilities are upstairs. Unsure if there is disabled access.

Recently visited this restaurant with friends and really enjoyed the food, although it's getting a bit pricey. The one thing we didn't like was the staff constantly coming to the table. Within about 3 minutes of sitting down a member of staff came and asked if we were ready to order. We said no. not yet. Within 2/3 minutes two more members of staff asked the same question. We were then asked if we wanted to order drinks which we did. Before they came two more members of staff asked the same question. Whilst we were eating we must have been asked about 5/6 times by the staff if everything was alright. During eating we were asked 3/4 times if we wanted more drinks. A message to staff. Please do not keep coming to the tables mithering customers and let them eat their meals in peace.

Always pop in for a meal when in the area visiting family and friends , always very good, love their prawn cocktail even if it's not strictly Indian food, Will be back.

Massively overpriced across the board. Booked a table for 8, but were made to wait until another party vacated. What's the point in booking? Also, the rice was the smallest portion I'd ever seen. And for over £3 too. Thinking about it, I'd actually go as far to say it's a bit of a rip off. restaurant. And they had the audacity to keep our change too. Avoid.

I use IND heaven regularly for takeaway, but on Saturday night my friends and I decided to have a meal in. I have to say the food was amazing. The service was efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this place in Alsager. I look forward to going back. Thanks Jon.

Salik and all the staff were amazing for this year's annual October fundraiser, food and service were wonderful. Thankyou to everyone who supported us and enjoyed this lovely restaurant. I’ve been coming to the restaurant regularly for about 13 yrs and I can say I’m not going again we walked in at 5.40 tonight asked for a table for 3 sat ate our meal which was good as usual are table was cleared I still had a drink the bill come we paid , again I was still finishing my drink and a waiter came over picked up my handbag and told us they needed the table , 1 picking up my handbag is rude 2 being asked to leave the table when there was other empty tables in the restaurant and 3 people were staring at us as if we’d been thrown out I’ve never felt so humiliated in all my life ,shocking staff , so at 7.01 we left the restaurant after leaving some of my unfinished drink never again gutted

Never been here before so anywhere worth a try once.Wish I hadn’t bothered. Everything on the menu is really expensive. My partner and her friend shared a king prawn chilli masala,which was £14.90 but charged us £15.70 on the bill. Anyway when it came there was actually 4 prawns in it!! No exaggeration. Staff were weird . I had tandoori mixed that was £10.80 which they charged £11.50 on bill for and then an extra £5 for a small curry sauce to accommodate. I can have a tandoori mixed with more variety (this one didn’t include king prawn)from Jaflong with a curry sauce for £8.70!! And tastes better. This cost £16.50 and was average.Then when the bill came they added extra money on to it from nowhere. I’ve been to a lot better places for a lot lot cheaper. I hate these kind of restaurants it’s just money money they don’t care about you.

I visit this restaurant each time I’m in the area . The menu is super and a range of foods that cater for the less spicy tongue extremely spicy pallet are catered for. Lovely Bollywood movies play whist enjoying the superb food. The keema chilli naan is by far the best I’ve ever tasted.
