Got to be the slowest Indian delivery in Nottingham. Prioritise money over customer service. Why don’t you close the line and work on getting your food out to customers that have ordered at a reasonable time.

Our first visit to this restaurant- it certainly won’t be our last! Food was fresh and tasty. Some unusual dishes we’d not come across before on the menu. We had the lamb tawa and it was absolutely delicious. Friendly, helpful service and a nicely decorated spotless restaurant. A great experience!

It's in a little shopping centre in Compton Acres. It clearly has a loyal following of locals. A fairly standard UK curry menu - not the best I've ever had but certainly not the worst. Pleasant staff. It's BYO for alcoholic drinks which would make it a bargain if you like a drink even with £1 corkage- and there's a Tesco next door.

Off tasting lamb chops. Definitely wrong side of best before..we had 2 lots one with starter one as a main x rotton ...shame because the rest of the food was fabulous..

Hadn't been here for a while - but will be returning again soon. Fallen into the habit of using other closer takeaways in central W Bridgford, but have been a bit dissapointed recently. However, the food from Aziz Khan was bloomin' lovely, and the prices are pretty good too

Těšil jsem se na podobný typ restaurace, kdy nabídky v jiné zemi Evropy nejsou takové úrovně. Splnilo a předčilo to moje očekávání. Ochutnal jsem z více jídel, příloh a kari omáček a stupňů pálivosti a jsem nadšený. Za mne i plus situace, kdy restaurace podle místních nemá licenci na prodej pití a alkoholu a řeší se to tím, že si třeba naproti v Tesco Express koupíte co potřebujete To jsem nikdy nezažil, ale je to svým způsobem zajímavé.

This place never ceases to amaze me. A very small but intimate restaurant with a great atmosphere, very friendly & helpful staff & probably the best Indian food I've ever had. Four of us phoned to see if they could accommodate us almost immediately. Luckily, it being midweek it wasn't a problem. The staff really looked after us. Only too pleased to advise about the menu & will also let you order a certain dish with a hotter sauce or modify dishes as you request. I can certainly recommend the Desi Lamb...Amazing! The Onion Bargis are superb (order 1 between two ....they are big) Tikka Massala superb. They don't serve alcohol but there is no problem at all taking your own beer & wine in. We will return.

A subtle use of spices enhanced this urban restaurant/takeaway. Our Tikka Madras & Kashmiri selections proved to be a cut above the average curry. No hesitation is recommending...

Thoroughly enjoyed our food, and the service was excellent

My first visit and hopefully not the last now I have discovered this convenient take away for when I stay in Nottingham. I enjoyed a very substantial chicken tikka biriyani. The meat had rich smokey bbq flavour , the rice was aromatic and of a perfect texture. The Chana Massala side dish was rich abd heavy on tomato which I enjoyed I struggled to finish it as the Briyani was such a large portion! The Biriyani curry of vegetables on the spicy side it went well with the meat and rice. The owner kindly added 2 complimentary poppadoms and 3 dips. I had to walk for a mile afterwards to allow the food to settle. A good takeaway a 9/10 IMO

I had a chicken balti ...was absoloutly delicous ..fresh ingredients. I ate my whole plate would certainly be ordering again 10 out of 10 ..freshest curry ive had in a long time ..loved it

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was yummy. BYOB - should be introduced everywhere, takes pounds off your bill! Only thing that let them down was the 25 minute wait for my starter (only 3 tables in the whole restaurant), however they were busy on takeaways

I had a curry there on a Saturday evening, 4 of us ate and the bill was £76, curry, rice, poppadoms and nans so, the price was right and the surroundings good. We brought our own drinks as is normal but there was a 40 minute wait for the main course, we didn't mind too much and they've just had a change of management, overall a good experience, would recommend to you to give it a try.

We were there nearly 2 and 3 quarters of an hour for a meal because of the service. I'll have to change my eating out patterns now regrettably.

They said half an hour and when we got there we were told to wait 5 mins and still nothing back after 15. Absolutely terrible organisation and no rush. The employees were happy to keep you waiting even though there is more people waiting for takeaway then eating in. I’d hate to know the delivery time. Just off this I wouldn’t recommend.

Ordered here for the first time as new customers through their exclusive app on Valentines night. We called up and they recommended it as there was 15% off for new customers. We chose home delivery 14/02/2023. Although it wasn't awful or anything. I just felt that the food just fell a bit 'flat', a bit bland for me in comparison to some other Indian takeaways. I was also dissapointed that we didn't receive any poppadoms as standard, although we recieved the dips. It wasn't really good value for money as there wasn't any extras thrown in either - like most other places. I wouldn't order from there again but it wasn't bad either just so-so. Hope this helps.

Very bad customer services ,he was very argumentative ,rude not understanding at all, even though they have done the mistake, accepted their mistake but not willing to rectify , saying will rectify as I £5 is too much for me .. how rode that is and put the phone down.Ethically and morally they got no right to talk to me in this way !!

Nice little restaurant offering a great variety of dishes. Good portion size, tasty food and great service. We were recommended to come and will definitely return. Not licensed so remember to bring your own beer or wine!!!

After avoiding Aziz Khan for a year or so after terrible service we gave them a second chance. Most of the takeaways were fine but mine was over spicy for its type and seemed to be made with leftover tandoori chicken (it wasn’t a tandoori dish). Then I found a hair. I won’t be risking a third chance.

Food was great very well priced and service was really good. I loved the bring your own beer system. Great work guys.

First time of ordering from here. Online ordering was easy, food was lovely and it was delivered much quicker than we were expecting so all in all we thought it was spot on. Lots of choice on the menu so looking forward to trying again.

Half order missing when over an hour late not good food and rubbish customer service. Over priced for low quality food do not order from here.

Oh wow , where shall we start , we ordered the chicken korma, mix grill ( told them no Lamb ) Dal , and plain Naan bread , the grill had lamb ( I hate lamb ) plus the chicken was super dry ,dal really boring and by far NOT the best that I ever tasted , the Korma , holy mother , it’s like pudding and dinner in one , extremely sweet sauce ( inedible) the only saving grace was the Naan bread that was ok , not even great but ok , but by far the only thing that you would eat from the order . What a waste of money . Never ever again .

We were told it would take 45 minutes - 1 hour for a takeaway. After 75 minutes I rang and had to wait 10 minutes before someone picked up. Told me the driver was on the way. It was nearly 45 minutes later - in total almost 2 hours - when he turned up. I had tried in the meantime to call - no-one picked up. The food was generally good (particularly good brinjal curry) and portions plentiful (although the naan was by now virtually inedible), but I would not recommend them at all for a takeaway. Possibly service for a sit down meal is much better. I would hope so...

This is the best food on the planet. The curries are so varied. The lamb or chicken tawa is tangy in a beautiful rich red sauce with crispy onions, and if you’re visiting, the sizzling starter platter is amazing. The guys are always friendly and my family will never go anywhere else.

I don’t tend to write reviews, but having ordered from the restaurant a number of times now, I just wanted to show some appreciation! My family came over for dinner tonight and we ordered a takeaway with various dishes, all of which were delicious. Estimated delivery was 20-40 mins, as usual the food arrived well within this timeframe and was cooked to perfection. We’d highly recommend Aziz Khan and will definitely be ordering again.

Excellent food at reasonable prices

Have a takeaway from here most weekends. Use the app which is easy to use, always have chicken or lamb vindaloo, the missus has different things. The food is fantastic, full of flavour the chicken or lamb just melts in your mouth. Delivery is always on time and food always hot. I wouldn’t go any where else.

Excellent fresh tasting Indian food. Delivered promptly. All very fresh and tasty. Generous portions - we save poppadoms, salad and some of one of the curries for the next day.Good naan and rice. Sizeable starters. Very vivid colours, but the flavours were great - layers of taste rather than just spice.Decent app. made ordering easy. Lots of choice for vegetarians. We’ve been lucky enough to have this restaurant on our doorstep, and have visited / had take-away many times. The service here is very friendly and efficient. The food is fantastic. I’ve enjoyed a few of the traditional favourites- Balti, Madras, but the hands down favourites are the Delvi and Lazeeza which I could happily eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The wife and kids love the Tikka Masala. Looking forward to our next visit already!

First Al fresco experience here, the food was delicious as always. Gnats were a bit of an issue, due to the close proximity of the trees. Fairy lights would have been nice along with citronella for the gnats.

We’ve been regular customers for many years and can safely say this is the best Curry house in West Bridgford, the management and staff are so friendly and the food is always delicious, last Saturday we booked and sat out side in the temporary dining area and we were lucky enough to have a lovely warm evening, it was really enjoyed to have a family curry, the staff we’re superb and the food was great, served quickly and plenty of ice for our drinks from Tesco!! lamb Handi is recommended !! Don’t hesitate to book this restaurant and don’t be put off by bad reviews!! Also the staff were all wearing masks and sanitising regularly

I am very disappointed with the curry I received tonight from this takeaway. The curry was so watery I couldn’t finish it. And the chips became soggy. Plus I ordered garlic and cheese naan bread and it came practically plain. I don’t understand how it has such a high rating on trip adviser. Only reason I used this place tonight is because the usual curry place we us in closed because of refurbishment. I wouldn’t recommend this at all. I will not be wasting my money here every again.

Regular take away customer no more, very poor service. Obviously cannot cope with lockdown demand. Waiting 1hr 20 mins and still no delivery. To be fair when the food arrived after 1hr 40 mins it was still hot and delicious and excellent quality. Aziz Kahn need to better manage expectations on ordering .

Ordered food from this restaurant twice now, and both times they have messed up the order with one dish. The rest of the curries were nice, but the inability to get some dishes correct is horrible. They gave us a completely different curry than what we ordered the first time, and the second time they gave us a different type of naan. All in all, a pretty okay place for takeaway and meh curries.

Been eating in, and having take outs from here since it first opened many years ago. I ordered takeaway food again last night and the food was absolutely delicious, as always. My favourite dish (Chicken Tikka Biryani) was of a generous size too. Big thanks to the restaurant for keeping going during these difficult times.

Had 1 takeaway from here a while ago - was mediocre and had no plans to return. Since then I've had a regular stream of emails and texts from them. Tried to unsubscribe but it doesn't work, have messaged them countless times asking me to remove my details fr their contact lists and my messages are read but ignored. unless you want lifelong emails and texts from these people avoid...

Been ordering from Aziz Khan for 4 years now and it's been fantastic food and service every single time!

3rd order now, food has been amazing every time but the delivery time is ridiculous. Over 2 hours each time when it states 30 - 45 minutes. No apology just handed over at the door. Sorry don't think we will bother again.

Ordered online a takeaway at 4pm for delivery at 7pm. After 2 calls to the restaurant chasing it up it finally arrived at 8pm. Luke warm and average quality. Starters were dreadful, curry better. We won’t be using Aziz Khan again either for takeaway or the restaurant.

Been using this restaurant for 2/3 years for takeaways. The food is always good. The customer service is absolutely appalling. I would say that they get 2/3rds of everything I’ve ordered has either been short on the order or late arriving. I’ve used this almost every Saturday for years. At £20-25 a time that’s £80-100 a month £10000-1200 per year. Tonight has been the straw that broke the camels back, we ordered at 18:00 to be told 45 mins to 1hr (which is what they always say) it took 4 phonecalls to get them to send the payment link then another two to find out where the heck the good was. At 19:20 (1hr 20 mins later) was told it was out and would arrive within 10. Minutes. 25 minutes later we rang again and were told he had just left and had 3 drops to do. By the time the food arrived it was nearly 20:00... 2 hours to deliver a meal for two 2.5 miles.... one good customer that’s had enough. Too many times missing food and turning up late.Too many times promised to make it right, I don’t want you to make it right anymore, all I wanted was for you to “get it right” first time. Seems impossible won’t be ordering again going elsewhere. You know who I am, don’t call I am not interested in any more excuses.Foods great , service the worst. Had enough.

We have used Aziz Khan a lot for both Eat in and Takeaway an they are brilliant; delicious food, friendly staff and great value!

Easy online ordering, and good delivery - usually bang on time, but occasionally maybe 15-20 minutes late, I guess if they are busy (hell, they can't deliver every single order on time). Food is delicious, and the chicken pieces are absolutely huge - none of that cubed stuff you sometimes get in curries. My only minor criticism would be they could do with adding a bit more of the various spices to get more flavour in ( I stress, just a minor criticism). I only started using them fairly recently due to lockdown, but very impressed. Naans are perfect. Not really had a problem with the rice. The first time it was maybe a tiny bit mushy/wet, but every other order has been perfect.

Aziz Khan is one of the best Indian restaurant around. It's quite a small place, but the food makes up for it. You can also take your own alcohol which is a bonus

I have been a loyal customer for years but the last few months quality has plummeted. The rice was simply mush you could poor it out the container. Flavours bland. I will be finding a new curry house.

I take into account that given there is a eat out scheme at the moment restaurants are busy however, waiting 1.5 hours for starters is a little bit much. The service is not good at all, we had to repeatedly ask for a drink we ordered which came after 3 reminders. By time the food came (we arrived at 19:00 and didn't eat our mains until 20:50pm) nobody on the table actually felt hungry anymore. The food is average, nothing to complain about but certainly nothing that would make me want to return.

I ordered a chicken lazeeza which was the blandest curry I have ever tasted. I ordered another one a week later asking them to spice it up & told them the last one was bland Again the curry was not spicy as advertised (1 chilli for spicy) & had tomatoes in it, which it has never had before. I would not recommend that particular curry. Otherwise the rest was fine.

Had a really enjoyable time at Aziz Khan this evening. The service was excellent throughout. We had two babies dining with us and the staff were very accommodating; nothing was too much trouble. Food was absolutely perfect. We shared a mixed platter and a veg platter. The chicken and lamb were so tasty, lean and succulent. Mains were equally as amazing! Generous portions too. All empty plates and left feeling very happy! We will definitely return! Thank you staff!

Well asI said in the title, food was disgusting and didn’t get what I ordered , I was told that what u asked for isn’t a same on the menu . I have been eating Indian for the last 20 years and been to India more then any Indian born in uk . At what I was told sorry this is how we make it !!! If it was delicious I wouldn’t even bother complain . And I didn’t even ate it and I got charged for the whole thing. So honestly if u never ate Indian before so u are welcome there . If u know what Indian food taste like and looks like u better don’t bother .

Takeaway ordered for 4 to celebrate my brother arriving from Ireland, who hasn't seen his other brother for years. Plentiful portions but EXTREMELY oily and very,very bland.

Oh dear...the new ownership has had a negative impact - very bland side dishes with virtually inedible cauliflower bhaji...vile, main courses - chicken kashmiri acceptable but the other two were totally uninteresting, naan and roti OK! An expensive mistake £53 for 3 people for poppadoms, 3 mains, 4 sides and 2 breads - dont bother and I certainly will not go back!!

We are regular curry etc diners, but first meal from Aziz Khan (we regularly use the Turkish nearby). Went for the Lazeeza - cooked with spices, fresh Coriander & garlic - and really enjoyed it. Will definitely go again.

Love this restaurant and should really have left a review ages ago.Aziz seems to be doing well in lockdown, which I’m so pleased to see. The food here is always excellent, whether it’s sitting in or having a takeaway. I really like the flavoursome lamb saag. The meat is always tender and plenty of it. My 9 year old likes the prawn puri, which they adapt to mild and no coriander. The tandoori dishes are also a favourite and reliably good.Fingers crossed things continue to improve and we’ll be able to go again on Christmas Day.

The last two times we have ordered a takeaway from Aziz Khan we have been very dissapointed. Curries were tasteless like they had been watered down. We have decided not to order again from here. Expensive for what you get
