Well what can I say I’ve always been to the ToI but omg what a lovely surprise everything about our visit was just wonderful lovely smiling faces to greet us and nothing was too much trouble the food 5star the atmosphere 5 star thank you to all the staff and especially the chef a5 star evening cheers

It was our first time at Aziz Khan restaurant. The whole vibe & atmosphere was nice. The space felt a little cramped as the restaurant filled up. The staff were super friendly. They were checking the tables frequently and had small friendly chats. We ordered Lamb Handi, mix Kebab and Chicken biryani along with Naan & tandoori roti. The lamb handi was delicious. The meat was soft & succulent. Though we asked for a spicy handi, it was still a little mild for us. I wish it could be more desi & spicy. The mix kebab platter came sizzling & pipping hot. It was flavourful. The accompanying sauces were nice. Although the chicken in biryani was super juicy and tender but the whole biryani itself was alright. Again I was hoping it could be more authentic & have a more desi touch. The naan & tandoori roti were amazing. No complains on that. Will definitely visit again on a lazy day and for the wonderful service we got.

Good food but it seems like they don’t have enough staff to cover both the restaurant and constant stream of take away orders. It’s clearly been a great success but we waited 20 minutes before our daughter was offered a soft drink and i just drank my beer from the bottle. When the food came, the order was wrong. They were most apologetic but that’s not the point. It comes back to lack of staff. Maybe we were unlucky

We had takeaway and the food was excellent and I am really particular about Asian food I have tried lots and never satisfied with them but this one is fantastic no oil grease etc had takeout 4 times now next time I am going to try eating in.

We've often ordered a takeaway from here but 1st time dining in!! Food was absolutely amazing and very filling!! Have already recommended to family and friends and will definitely be back

Been going to Aziz Khan for years and they have never disappointed. I had been feeling unwell for days with COVID, struggling to speak, breathe, think etc. I thought a nice curry from Aziz Khan might help me, so I ordered there chicken Byriani. Within minutes all my symptoms had disappeared, a smile had started forming, and tears of joy started running. All of this for only £9.95. What a place! I would highly recommend, especially the Byriani. Thanks a lot.

Very bad customer services ,he was very argumentative ,rude not understanding at all, even though they have done the mistake, accepted their mistake in my conversation, but was not willing to rectify it and said to me £5 is too much for me?? how rude that is and then they put the phone down.Ethically and morally they got no right to talk to me in this way !! I have felt personally over the phone ,the manager who spoke to me was drunk.

Phoned restaurant as food hadn’t arrived. He said that it should have said food delivered an hour after ordering when they opened at 5.30. On Just Eat it said restaurant open and no mention of delivery. Ordered at 5.05 and delivered at 6.37

First time ordering over £30, chicken tikka kebab 5 pieces of meat with a pile of onions with a minute pot of salad..3 sauces we could not identify!! hotmeat starter £6 for 4 small lumps of meat. late and cold ... dismal worst take way I've had in a long time..worryingly this is a restaurant as well!!

Unfortunately tonight meal wasnt up to notmal quality. Food was watery and unusually tasteless. The curry dishes had all leaked all over the other order. Covered in Ghee. Very messy and disappointing 😞

Got to be the slowest Indian delivery in Nottingham. Prioritise money over customer service. Why don’t you close the line and work on getting your food out to customers that have ordered at a reasonable time.

Our first visit to this restaurant- it certainly won’t be our last! Food was fresh and tasty. Some unusual dishes we’d not come across before on the menu. We had the lamb tawa and it was absolutely delicious. Friendly, helpful service and a nicely decorated spotless restaurant. A great experience!

It's in a little shopping centre in Compton Acres. It clearly has a loyal following of locals. A fairly standard UK curry menu - not the best I've ever had but certainly not the worst. Pleasant staff. It's BYO for alcoholic drinks which would make it a bargain if you like a drink even with £1 corkage- and there's a Tesco next door.

I don’t mind waiting but the app was not up dated! Guests had gone before food. Over 90mins late

Off tasting lamb chops. Definitely wrong side of best before..we had 2 lots one with starter one as a main x rotton ...shame because the rest of the food was fabulous..

Always had great food from here but this order was nothing like we are used too. The samosa was inedible, the bag was literally dripping in grease, other dishes very salty. Something has definitely changed!

Hadn't been here for a while - but will be returning again soon. Fallen into the habit of using other closer takeaways in central W Bridgford, but have been a bit dissapointed recently. However, the food from Aziz Khan was bloomin' lovely, and the prices are pretty good too

Jestli máte chuť na něco co vypadá a chutná jako indická restaurace, objednejte si dopředu místo, či vyzvedněte připravené jídlo. Stojí to za to. Těšil jsem se na podobný typ restaurace, kdy nabídky v jiné zemi Evropy nejsou takové úrovně. Splnilo a předčilo to moje očekávání. Ochutnal jsem z více jídel, příloh a kari omáček a stupňů pálivosti a jsem nadšený. Za mne i plus situace, kdy restaurace podle místních nemá licenci na prodej pití a alkoholu a řeší se to tím, že si třeba naproti v Tesco Express koupíte co potřebujete To jsem nikdy nezažil, ale je to svým způsobem zajímavé.

This place never ceases to amaze me. A very small but intimate restaurant with a great atmosphere, very friendly & helpful staff & probably the best Indian food I've ever had. Four of us phoned to see if they could accommodate us almost immediately. Luckily, it being midweek it wasn't a problem. The staff really looked after us. Only too pleased to advise about the menu & will also let you order a certain dish with a hotter sauce or modify dishes as you request. I can certainly recommend the Desi Lamb...Amazing! The Onion Bargis are superb (order 1 between two ....they are big) Tikka Massala superb. They don't serve alcohol but there is no problem at all taking your own beer & wine in. We will return.

A subtle use of spices enhanced this urban restaurant/takeaway. Our Tikka Madras & Kashmiri selections proved to be a cut above the average curry. No hesitation is recommending...

Really good food and was early; there was an item that was missed but rang the restaurant really helpful and sent out the replacement really quickly really happy with the service!

Every time we order from Aziz Khan the food is late, anything between 20 and 30 minutes late. Today we were short of one item too. The food is usually acceptable but tonight the mixed tandoori mixed grill was slightly overcooked. We ordered early with the hope the food would be delivered on time but we’re once again disappointed. Unable to put 20 mins late on the drop down menu!!

the delivery man was absolutely shocking just because my dog fussed him, my dog is the most loving dog in the world the bloke spoke to me i a language i didnt understand and at one point it thought he was gonna kick off terrible service

Missing 4 poppadoms and pickle tray that had been ordered. Not enough to bother waiting for a second delivery, but irritating.

My first visit and hopefully not the last now I have discovered this convenient take away for when I stay in Nottingham. I enjoyed a very substantial chicken tikka biriyani. The meat had rich smokey bbq flavour , the rice was aromatic and of a perfect texture. The Chana Massala side dish was rich abd heavy on tomato which I enjoyed I struggled to finish it as the Briyani was such a large portion! The Biriyani curry of vegetables on the spicy side it went well with the meat and rice. The owner kindly added 2 complimentary poppadoms and 3 dips. I had to walk for a mile afterwards to allow the food to settle. A good takeaway a 9/10 IMO

Excellent food, generous portions, came much earlier than the estimated time, have always found Aziz Khan excellent, and they were again this time!

I always have my curry’s from here but last night it was dreadful. No taste, watery, chicken was rubbery too. A real let down from usual!

I had a chicken balti ...was absoloutly delicous ..fresh ingredients. I ate my whole plate would certainly be ordering again 10 out of 10 ..freshest curry ive had in a long time ..loved it

The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was yummy. BYOB - should be introduced everywhere, takes pounds off your bill! Only thing that let them down was the 25 minute wait for my starter (only 3 tables in the whole restaurant), however they were busy on takeaways

Really early evening order. Got here really quickly, caught me out actually as I’d pop to the shop 😂 It was good but not as great as usual. Dadyal tasted a bit salty and the Tikka Masala not as tasty as usual. But overall very nice.

Had to wait over half an hour for collection. But the food was fantastic.

I had a curry there on a Saturday evening, 4 of us ate and the bill was £76, curry, rice, poppadoms and nans so, the price was right and the surroundings good. We brought our own drinks as is normal but there was a 40 minute wait for the main course, we didn't mind too much and they've just had a change of management, overall a good experience, would recommend to you to give it a try.

We were there nearly 2 and 3 quarters of an hour for a meal because of the service. I'll have to change my eating out patterns now regrettably.

The food was not as good and tasty as it has been previously, I do understand it was Valentine’s Day and they were super busy but the food quality suffered unfortunately. The gentleman in the shop was very pleasant and accommodating whilst I waited to collect my food. He also have some complimentary gifts such as a rose and can of pop lol :). Overall I’d say I’d probably try again as on other days I’ve ordered it’s been great but just showed they were very busy yesterday nevertheless service was 10/10

2 hours delay. Restaurant don't answer when trying to call them. Put an order at 7pm. Not yet arrived and is 10 pm

They said half an hour and when we got there we were told to wait 5 mins and still nothing back after 15. Absolutely terrible organisation and no rush. The employees were happy to keep you waiting even though there is more people waiting for takeaway then eating in. I’d hate to know the delivery time. Just off this I wouldn’t recommend.

Ordered here for the first time as new customers through their exclusive app on Valentines night. We called up and they recommended it as there was 15% off for new customers. We chose home delivery 14/02/2023. Although it wasn't awful or anything. I just felt that the food just fell a bit 'flat', a bit bland for me in comparison to some other Indian takeaways. I was also dissapointed that we didn't receive any poppadoms as standard, although we recieved the dips. It wasn't really good value for money as there wasn't any extras thrown in either - like most other places. I wouldn't order from there again but it wasn't bad either just so-so. Hope this helps.

Nice little restaurant offering a great variety of dishes. Good portion size, tasty food and great service. We were recommended to come and will definitely return. Not licensed so remember to bring your own beer or wine!!!

Lovely Hot Food Delivered on time

We have ordered from Aziz many times and I have to say the food has deteriorated over the last 6 months , however, we thought we would give it another go just in case but the food was the worst we have had! I ordered prawn rogan josh. I couldn’t even see my prawns and when I opened the tub, there was just a layer of cut tomatoes and very bland. Food not hot but tepid. Husbands special had very little meat. Very disappointed

Food was very tasty. Ordered the lamb handi and the meat was very tender and cooked to perfection. Would definitely be ordering from here again.

Was superb and very flavourful! Poppadoms were missing the last time I ordered but replaced this time so pleased. Only thing I’d say is the chips were half empty, maybe the driver was peckish on the way lol and he didn’t deliver to my door I had to go outside as he said he couldn’t come up the stairs but overall great food. Thanks

Ch Balti was absolutely awful. That was not balti I think you sent us the wrong dish ! Whatever that was it was horrible could not eat! Have ordered Balti from here before and it's been sopt on but this was not balti. Garlic Nan was uncooked and not nice either. Mix kebab was decent. Got to say waste of £20 odd quid.

Ive gave just three stars as our Vindaloo Lamb had beef instead of lamb…was still very tasty but we have ordered lamb not beef, so disappointing. Unfortunately food was running late on this occasion… was still pipping hot but arrived 30 min late….

The meal was phenomenal, staff are so attentive and very knowledgeable.....this is the 5th time we have been and we can never have anything negative to say about each experience......we always have a different meal to try something new, they never fail to please

The chips were freezing cold I could only eat one because it was freezing. Samosa was nice I suppose and the korma sauce but £21 for samosa and a curry is expensive as we couldn't eat the chips both bags in the bin don't think I would return.
