Yaadgaar Tandoori in Rushcliffe

Nice enough restaurant but the chef was our waiter and wore blood stained dirty apron while bringing our food…. Very off putting.. not very attentive and food salty. Only people eating in, and felt like we phone orders were more important. Wouldn’t return or recommend I’m afraid, maybe just a quiet night but enough to put us off and for me to leave this review.

I’m 34 and have been coming here since I was 14 and only ever had 2 bad experiences that were understandable to be fair. Moved back to the area and Gutted they’ve changed the classic chicken tikka masala because when I got it last it tasted strongly of mint and had loads of mint in it- yet Never had that before! The lamb korma was beautiful and tender and really enjoyed the meat samosas but was gutted the masala had been changed for the worst! Also a shame as both the mint yogurts in my pickle tray didn’t taste right so were binned, not sour as such but 100% something wasn’t right. Still gave 4* but hoping for improvement next time but will relay this to them next time I order.

We had a small gathering at local pub and ordered 'nibbles' , Onion Bhajis, Samosas, Poppadoms etc from Yaadgaar. The service and food was excellent, extra Poppadoms and pickle tray a bonus. Delivered to the pub on time. Thank you Kash for a wonderful service ....again, your hospitality is excellent.

Very disappointing. First and last time eating here. No flavour, no spices. It was like I was eating curry sauce from a chippy. Miss this place if your looking for an authentic Indian.

Thursday night and we had the place to ourselves. £105 for four starters, popadoms, three mains, three rice and a garlic Nan. Not serving alcohol still just spoils it for me, as I love a cold beer with a curry and I don’t want to have to think about how much I may need, plus they just get warm under the table. Chap was nice when he wasn’t glued to his phone, but that will be my last time.

The food is always so good, we’ve been going years it’s always perfect. The staff are very welcoming too. Being able to take your own Alcohol is great too as it keeps the cost down

We visited for my partner's 50th birthday celebration. Food was fantastic. The starters were cooked perfectly and were very tasty. Our main courses were just right; full of flavour with the perfect amount of spice. Service was spot on. We like that you bring your own alcoholic drinks too. Our part of 5 had a cracking meal. Well worth the money. We often get takeaway from here too.

This restaurant has a wide variety of delicious curries to choose from. I frequently get a take away from here and like to try a new dish every time and none of them have been anything but phenomenal. Without a doubt the best Indian food I’ve had. If ordering from Just Eat, I particularly recommend any of the curries in the ‘specials curries’ section - the mazedar, mirpuri and handi curries are my favourites.

Excellent meal, beautifully presented - efficient, friendly service. Visited as a group of 9 people and all served promptly.

I've eaten from here for over 3 years and tonight's meal has git yo ge tge worst I've ever had chicken dansak is a sweet dish but thus was horrible so sweet it made my cheeks twang there was nothing indian about it tasted mire like a sweet gone wrong so disappointed 😥

I really like this place. I’ve been there a few times and I’ve ordered food for delivery a few times.. every time, it always hits the spot! I ate here the other day (even after everyone told me about the FSA rating) and it was great, everyone enjoyed it. One word of advice from a group that comprised 2 vegans and 2 pescatarians: the menu is not very accessible for allergen information. I know that a lot of the dishes are vegetarian but that just doesn’t cut it for me: I need to know what has eggs and milk in it, and it’s not overly clear which items do from the menu. Very reasonably priced, perfect for a dinner out with friends or family.

Nice BYOB option and good range of dishes. If anything menu has too many options. Chose a medium dish but was too spicy but they were good enough to make it milder. Other guests said theirs was hotter than they expected.

Had my daughters 21st birthday party there last night. The food was amazing, the staff were really welcoming n friendly, My guest loved the food, the service n loved the entertainment as they played some lovely music for our party. Would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff there for making our evening so wonderful N a very big thank you to the Chef for the wonderful food that he cooked for us. Food as always was simply amazing, but BYO is a major turn off for me… I don’t want to have to think about how much alcohol I need and cold pints of Kingfisher is simply part of the experience. I won’t be going back unless they get their licence back.

Gave this place a go as Bombay Joe's in Bingham was shut. Took 30 mins before anyone would take my phone order, when the food arrived it was bland and oily. Gave two stars instead of one because it did at least arrive on time. You'd be better off getting a Tesco Finest curry in. Quick edit: Tbf it does look like dining in there is a much more positive experience, looking at other reviews

Hicimos un pedido para la entrega y nos dijeron que tardarían entre 30 y 45 minutos, 60 minutos después llamé para perseguirlo y me dijeron que solo estaba cargando el automóvil ahora que estará con usted en 15 minutos.Soy diabético y necesito tomar insulina justo antes de comer, así que cuando pensé que mi cena estaba en camino, tomé insulina solo para descubrir que tenía más o menos una hora para esperar, ¡lo cual no es bueno!Cuando finalmente llegó la comida hacía frío y no me refiero simplemente a no estar caliente o incluso caliente, ¡me refiero a FRÍO! !También me sorprendió bastante encontrar ensalada (marchita) encima de lo que estaba destinado a ser un curry caliente. , hemos tenido comida desde aquí antes y nunca he tenido un problema antes, ¡pero nunca volveré a ordenar desde aquí! !

I have dined at yaadgaar a few times and every time I have been served amazingly! The food is full of flavour and is a great price. Me and my family always enjoy our meal whenever we dine at yaadgaar. The team at yaadgaar are great with their customer service. I will Carry on dining at yaadgaar!

I Have been a customer of Yaadgaar ever since i moved to Radcliffe. This restaurant never fails to amaze me with it's excellent customer service and staff. The food is amazing and the prices are affordable. My dining bills have always been a good price for the food and dessert .Overall i had a very good experience and will carry on being a customer at Yaadgaar.

A few months ago I visited the poppadoms and the dips were my favourite part, I tried the punjabi dish I'd never had before, it was nice however it was not one of my favourites. The naan bread was lovely and fresh, it seemed a little oily overall it tasted good. I went back recently hoping to eat here, the communication was poor and there was a lack of customer service skills. I did not feel welcomed so I decided to leave. Ate there for the second time tonight. I was not impressed and very disappointed. The naan bread and popadoms were old and not fresh at all. Very hard and dried out, the rice was barely warm and the curry was bland in flavour. It was almost like I was eating someone's unwanted dinner from 4-5 hours before.

Tomé invitados que se quedaron conmigo, ya que tenía un cupón a mitad de precio y a todos nos encanta el curry. Aunque reservamos con anticipación, no había nadie en la recepción, ni en el restaurante, y cuando finalmente apareció alguien estaba al borde de la rudeza. Nunca revisó nuestra reserva, pero cuando le pedí una mesa específica, dijo que todas las mesas estaban reservadas previamente. Esperamos mucho tiempo para ser atendidos y notamos que la familia india que llegó después de nosotros fue atendida primero. Solo había otra mesa ocupada durante nuestro tiempo allí y no era la que queríamos.

I ordered a takeaway recently having seen positive reviews on a couple of sites. However, was left very underwhelmed and disappointed. The curries ordered were bland and flavourless with one member of the party having less than half of her portion before giving up. I only pressed on out of necessity and the fact I'd paid for it, certainly wasnt out of enjoyment which was highly disappointing as I love my food. Given all the Indian restaurant choices in the area I wont consider returning to this as an option.

We came to eat here as a last minute decision today. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The staff were really friendly, chatting to the children and making them feel welcome. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it.

We had a family meal here, 6 of us. The staff were friendly nothing was to much trouble. They gave us the popadoms, that we had, had while going through the menu. The food was all fresh, hot and tasty. We hadn’t eaten everything, without us even asking, the staff boxed it up for us to take home. Sometimes it’s the little things that help make a meal, as well as the food.

Tenía altas expectativas de este lugar ya que mi amigo lo estaba agrandando! Normalmente entramos en Notts; Calcuta, 4550, mems así que no había mucho en juego. . . No me decepcionó, todo el personal me trató bien el pequeño y colorido interior. Every Christmas these guys serve us (20+ people) the most excellent variety of delicious food. Nothing is too much bother for Asfaq and Kash who've been here since it opened 33 years ago. Mushi the chef makes sure it's cooked just right and presented beautifully. You feel like you're so welcome and cared for - like a guest in a home not a customer. They really know how to do this restaurant thing. Well be back !

Mi amigo vive en Nottingham pero aún no ha probado Yaadgaars, la próxima vez que venga definitivamente volveremos aquí para nuestra comida. Estaba tan impresionado Tuve el pollo de mantequilla, estaba perfectamente cocinado carne de pechuga de pollo, con arroz de setas y el arroz era posiblemente el mejor arroz que he tenido de una comida para llevar. Mi amigo tenía un jalfrezi y dijo que sabía tan fresco con el mejor arroz pilau que había tenido en años. Tuvimos una orden de samosa de verduras y juro que eran caseras, eran muy frescas y la combinación perfecta de crujientes y rellenos de verduras.

Estábamos viajando de Stansted a Nottingham. Le informaron a nuestro hotel que había dejado de servir la comida y que había caído aquí, por pura casualidad. Nos sorprendió gratamente. Very accommodating pleasant staff with excellent selection and quality of food if your looking for a good place to have dinner .

We have been to most Indian restaurants in the South Nottingham/Rushcliffe area, but not Yaadgaar, so we called in to try it on a Sunday evening. Externally this is a very unassuming place, but it’s clean and cozy inside. A warm welcome was given and we were impressed with the extensive menu. Popadoms were crisp and fresh and came with an impressive selection of five pickles/relishes.

Went in for first time on Friday last week (for a takeaway), and was treated incredibly well. I asked for recommendations on our order, and their selections were amazing. The food was delicious, clean, and in plentiful supply. Will definitely return.

Pedimos para llevar a cabo esta noche y fue terrible. Bhajis de cebolla plana y de roca dura! Soggy nanbread y el pollo tikka masala era korma con colorante rojo para alimentos. La mejor parte de la comida fue la bolsa en la que entró, ya que todo volvió a entrar y directamente a la papelera peor que haya pasado.
