A bit pricey for what you get, I ordered king prawn Saag and only got 3 prawns for the price of £18-50, but saying that flavour was fantastic

Really great and fresh food in this small restaurant. The service was excellent. As it's small the noise level can get quite loud but all adds in to the atmosphere.

The staff are lovely and very attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is delicious.

Always ready to go again, food is excellent, Can be a bit noisy due to being a bit echoey but it not a real issue. Used it many times, always friendly and ideal local place to relax, handy for me as only a few minutes walk away.

Love this place, great food only drawback is it is small and you can feel hemmed in but to be fair the food and staff more than compensate for it.

Order takeaways, and the food is always lovely, very tasty and plenty of it. The service is great, very welcoming and only too pleased to help. Highly recommend.

Great restaurant. The food is excellent; I went to a very expensive upmarket Indian restaurant recently and it was no where near as good as 7 Spice and cost twice as much. We went on Sunday evening and it wasn’t particularly busy, but the atmosphere was still great. I honestly cannot fault anything about our dining experience.

Excellent take-away. We would recommend. Good portions, the onion bhaji are lovely. We had chicken tikka mamacook. Really tasty.

Delicious food & great service.

Beautiful food. Nice to have Indian food tasting differently for each dish. (rather than one sauce fits all) Fresh and tasty. Would have been 5 stars but the waiter seemed to be doing everything. Orders, drinks, serving and take out customers, which meant he was rushed. Would definitely recommend.

I was sad when the mogul closed down in Keyworth, thankfully it did because it made me try Seven spice, best curry for miles. Would not go anywhere else now.

Girls evening, recommend by one of our party who is a regular. My goodness they did not disappoint. Fantastic service, food was delicious, plentiful, hot and hardly any wait time. Ali and his team were amazing ! Well worth a visit if you like a great curry !

Excellent, everything about the takeaway was spot on. Onion bhaji was one of the best I’ve have for a long time. Everything was nice and fresh, good value aswell.

We had a fabulous takeout Friday night from seven spices. We had friends coming to ours. Too cold to go out so we decided to try a takeaway . What a wonder meal so full of taste beautiful spices. And onion barges to die for. Lovely the pickle tray my favourite. For ami s we Had Beef Shaklft excuse my spelling. Way too much food for four people . Ordered a takeaway three weeks ago, delivered on time, nothing missing, food very tasty. My only complaint was that my king prawn jinghq only had three prawns! So we’ve been online today to try and book again tonight but it wouldn’t let us pre order for delivery. We waited until opening at 530 but ended up calling them. ‘We don’t deliver’ is what they said. Well I didn’t dream it! Inevitably we go to the pub at weekends so I know I didn’t drive. So the long and the short is we won’t be darkening your door again. In a time when local businesses need you the most, apparently some can do without good customers.

I love this place! Fortunately it’s less than a 5 minute walk from my house. The curries are always spot on and delicious (I recommend the chicken balti). The staff are extremely polite and attentive! We normally visit in a group and it’s never been disappointing! Even when we order take away it’s always amazing.

I eat regularly at 7 Spice and also have the occasional takeaway. I have never had a bad meal , the food is fantastic. Ali and his team are excellent hosts and the whole experience represents good value for money.

Not usually a massive curry fan but our daughter in law won the coin toss on this occasion. Very glad she did! Our meal was ready to collect in under 30 minutes on a Saturday evening and everything was truly delicious with distinct flavours to each dish. Particularly enjoyed the mixed fish starter, onion Bhaji. Veg samosa and lamb Balti but it was all very good. On this experience, well and truly won over to Indian cuisine.

I got some food today and I was sorely disappointed - this was one of the poorest curries I've had for a long time. I had Chicken Tikka to start which clearly hadn't been marinated at all, tasted of nothing, and looked nothing like the picture on the (online) menu. I also had a signature dish (the Lal Mans) which was utterly bland and had no depth to it.The Tarka Daal was passable, but that's the best I can say of the food. I would have to assume that the main chef wasn't on duty today, but frankly I'm not prepared to risk it again. Very, very poor. The service, as always, was very friendly and efficient, but that doesn't make up for £21 of bad curry.

Ordered several dishes. All were bland and with a stingy amount of meat. Vegetable rice was rice with soggy hunks of boiled carrot and broccoli tossed in. Very overpriced for what we received. Don't know if we just caught the place on an off night, but I don't think we'll be ordering from here again.

2nd time, spent £80 & no poppadums, despite sending dips. No big deal but inefficient

I had one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had. The taste was super aas was the presentation. It’s not a large restaurant but it makes up for it with the quality. The staff are very attentive and helpful.

Add food from there since it opened ,quality food which tastes superb ,great friendly staff, clean and tidy surroundings ,Indian food cooked to perfection.

Just had a take out from here…… best we have had in a very long time, Rohan Josh (veg) was superb and the best chicken Korma I’ve had in years!

We had heard good reviews of 7 Spice so decided to give it a try as we love a good curry. We had onion Bhaji, my partner said a Bhaji was a good indication of a good curry house and he said it was really good. For mains we had . garlic chilli chicken and chicken tikka karahi. Have to say it was delicious, just the right amount of spice and flavoursome with fresh ginger. We’ve tried a few over lockdown and this is definitely the best. Won’t hesitate to go back 👍🏻

Fantastic food tonight from 7 spice. The food was very high quaility, fresh and tasted amazing. The service is timely and very friendly. My husband collected the meal tonight and commented on how impecably clean and modern the restaurant was - we'll be giving this a try soon! Highly recommend!

The guys at 7spice have done a wonderful job in keeping excellent standards set by the previous owners. For myself, and the family, we have had delicious and hot food on a regular basis and believe that the subtle changes in the recipes have meant, that for us, the food is tastier than before. We order on a regular basis, before and since changing owners, for take away, during a weekday, or weekend. We have been thoroughly impressed with our meals and feel lucky to have a restaurant of this quality only 2 villages away. We cannot wait to experience the food while dining in, and hope that this will be in the very near future. Many thanks to the whole team at 7spice :)

We have been here for take away food for a number of years and we have always loved the food and the service. The Garlic chilli chicken is lovely and the sea food platter starter is delicious.

Great curry with lovely big chunks of chicken. Popodums came with 6 different chutneys. Smaller premises than before but nicer decor.

Ordered the veg set meal for 4. Food was generally good, however after being told that they had made everything vegan for us we were given a paneer and 2 naan in our meal. Good quality food and very quick service but not so good understanding of dietary requirements.

So far, only ordered food to take away but never been disappointed. Tasty food and generous portions. Always give supplementary rice portion and plenty of papadum with numerous sauces. A bit pricy.

Me and my girlfriend popped in without having to book a table. The service was excellent the food was even better. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years since I was a kids and the food just gets better with each visit. Would absolutely recommend a visit.

I have visited many Indian restaurants. That one was the best so far. I had Chicken Korma with Garlic bread.

A lovely venue with great staff and a very good menu. We've been going for nearly ten years and we've not had a bad meal yet. Fantastic! PS: Indian Nights have a new smaller venue, so do ring in advance to book and avoid disappointment.

Have they had new chefs? I'm not exaggerating when I say I've just paid for the worst curry I've ever had. It was like tomato soup with a little chilipowdwr. No tomatoes or onion like normal... just a flavourless soup with dry chicken?!?! Usually so good

Amazing food at a good price. It's good a catering to parties of 8-10, could probably do more. Really friendly staff. It's not usually packed but it's always best to book a table in advanced. The parking isn't the best but there plenty of on street parking next to the restaurant.
